Over one hundred years before Twilight Sparkle and her friends would become Element Bearers. The Changelings mostly left Ponyville alone as Manehattan had a higher population with much more love to feed off of.

One night, the police force of the city rooted out the Changelings and drove them back to their hive, but the Mayor wasn't satisfied with this. He called for their scientists to develop something that would cause the Changelings to leave once and for all.

After a full week, he had received news that the device was done and he called a meeting in City Hall to see who would be the one to take the device into the Changeling hive and activate it. But what would happen next, no one could foresee...
