Sunlight and Sunset have been walking for sometimes, but the night will soon arrive and force them to camp. So, while Sunlight have been installing the tents, Sunset decided to bring some wood for a campfire.

“Are you done soon with our tents, Sunlight?” asked Sunset.

“Almost, he answered. Your tent is just a nightmare to install!!”

“Come on!! She said. This is not that hard!! Alright, let me handle it...”

She get up and help Sunlight to install her tent, then the two sit around the fire and talk.

“Hey, Sunlight, she said. Do you think we will be able to return home one day?”

“Well, i don’t know, he answered. To be able to return home, we would have to open a spatial rift to our dimension. But i am sure there is no enough powerful being in this universe to do that.”

“I am not giving up the idea, she said. Beside, What will we do after the Pokemon League?”

“Probably continuing the adventure, answered Sunlight. Who know, we could discover a way to get home. Even if that mean releasing our pokemons...”

“I am not getting rid of my pokemons, said Sunset. I am sure they will survive in our world.”

“Think about it, said Sunlight. They will maybe be accepted in Equestria. But if you plan to bring them in its human world counterpart, who know how people will react. I mean, these creatures are literally kind of monsters, and you know how people react to monsters”

“Yes, they will suffer if we bring them in our world, she said. But i can’t deal with the idea they will have their heart broken...”

“Let’s talk about something else, said Sunlight. We are far away for this moment, maybe we will never get out of here, but at least, we will be trapped together if that happen.”

Sunset look at him with emotion and turn her head to not showing him she was blushing.

“And about our friends? She said. I won’t lie by telling you that i miss them...They are probably panicking right now, searching for us, wondering where we are...I just hope i will see them again.”

“This is if we are able to get out of this world. Said Sunlight. For the moment, we have to be strong and think about other things”

“Can i ask you a slightly sensitive question?” asked Sunset.

“That depend of your definition of «Sensitive»” he said.

“With your charm and your personality, she said. You are very popular wherever you went, but i noticed that you didn’t give any importance to it. What i am saying is that you have everything for you, that you could have any girl if you wanted too, but you don’t seem to be interested in love, Why?”

“I just consider true love like a fairy tale, he answered. Love is not eternal, it can make you suffer, take stupid decisions or endanger the other around you. Love cause jealousy, jealousy cause madness and madness lead to do bad things to the ones you love. I love you, Sunset, but the love i have for you is simply a fraternal love, this is the only form of love i tolerate and accept.”

“Because i realized that between me and Flash, that would not work, she answered. He is a cool guy, but him and me are too different, plus, i am bisexual, you know what that word mean, right?”

“Hum, yeah, i have followed Sex-ed classes like almost everyone, he answered. You are telling me that you appreciate having a love relation with a man but also with a women...But that don’t explain why you don’t make effort to find another love interest. Take Trixie, by example, you and her seem to get along very well.”

“Hum, i am hungry, said Sunset. Not you?”

“Don’t you have something edible in your bags? Said Sunlight. Because i am not cooking anything tonight...”

“Why?” she asked.

“Because i am not your servant, he answered. Neither your slave. I will cook when i will feel the need to!”

Sunset make a grumpy face and eat some snack bars from her bag.

”Stupid Sunlight, she thought. He is so independent and incredibly stubborn, that piss my off. But i can’t hate him, he is just so innocent and cute. This is just so sad that the reality will strike him one day.”

“First step in my plan completed, thought Sunlight in the same time. Make sure that Sunset acknowledge that she won’t control me. Second step, boost her autonomy by forcing her to decide and take the lead.”

Sunset get up and walk in direction of her tent. Sunlight absorb the flames and heat of the campfire to extinguish it.

“Goodnight, Sunset” said Sunlight, hugging her.

“Yeah, goodnight too, she said, still grumpy after him. Pray that i don’t die of hunger this night.”

“Don’t play the culpability card with me, said Sunlight. I will do a lot of thing for you, you know it. But there is a lot of thing you can do and don’t need me for doing them. I hope you understand.”

Sunset enter in her tent and prepare her sleeping bag. Mew, get out of her bag and help her. She strip off her vest, jeans and T-shirt to put a cozy pajama. On his side, Sunlight removed his costume/armor/suit, to sleep shirtless. Revealing his workout routine. Then he fall quickly asleep, but Sunset don’t and was still awake, laying in her sleeping bag.

“How many days i will hold in this world? She thought. I maybe should have continue my way alone. If only the guy i am trapped with was not my brother. When you finally have the cutest and most perfect guy enter in your life but it fall to be your long lost brother, ugh, Why is the life so unfair!!! If we got back home, i promise to myself to find a love interest.”

The next day, Sunlight woke up first and the first thing he does is to put his suit on. Then, he pack his sleeping bag and head to the campfire to start preparing the breakfast. Mew get out of Sunset’s tent and land on Sunlight’s head. Sunlight take a little moment to cuddle him. Then he prepare the meals of his pokemons.

“Can you wake up Sunset? The breakfast will be served soon! He said.

Mew teleport Sunset in front of Sunlight and laugh. Sunset fall on the ground and woke up.

“What, where am i?” she said, drowsy.

“I prepared the breakfast, he said. You should eat before Mew gobble up everything”

“Hum, you made pancakes, she said. I love pancakes. You are the best.”

She take 4 of them.

“I am sorry for yesterday night, she said. You were not forced to travel with me and my attitude was not cool.”

“That’s fine, he said. I can be mad at you, not for long. Beside, that will be the last meal i will prepare for you”

Sunset spill out her food.

“What?!” she said.

“I know that you know how to cook, so for the next weeks, you will prepare the meals” he said.

“I am not as talented as you, you know, she said. Sure, i can cook, but my talent is limited to very simple recipes.”

“Then i will help you to improve this skill, and many other you lack of” said Sunlight.

“What do you mean? She asked. Are you saying that i would be nothing without you? You are wrong!!”

“This is not what i mean, he answered. I will protect you when you will need my help, but you also need to do the same for me. But you lack of self confidence and autonomy. Remember that i may won’t be able to protect you every time. You will, if that situation happen, need to protect yourself.”

“I passed most of my life lonely, she said. And that was the most horrible moments of my life. Then, i finally opened my heart to the Friendship and my life changed. Having friends around, caring for me, brought light in my heart and my life became so much better. Since, i am afraid to lose them, and fall again in the pit of darkness the solitude his. Sunlight suddenly feel sympathy for her, understanding now how much her friends and family was important for her. But he also feel sad for her, because if she depend only on the others to protect her, she will not survive the real world. Sunlight’s parents taught him this lesson, to be independent because one day or another, he will be let to himself.

“You need to stand up for yourself, he said. You need to believe in yourself!! You need to learn how to be confident and how to act on your own!!”

“I won’t be able to do it alone...” she said.

“In that case, said Sunlight, I will teach you how to be like me, And when i will have finished with you, you will be as confident as i am. Nothing will stop you!!”

Sunset smile at him and feel her heart warming. Then, after they finish their breakfast, they begin to pack on their stuff and get back on the road.

“If we still walking at this cadence, said Sunlight, we should arrive at Shalour City in less than 2 days.”

“So, who is going to challenge her first, asked Sunset. Me or you?”

“Hum, we will decide of that when we will be there” he answered.

They continue to walk for hours, talking about any subject they could think of. But they are soon stopped by someone yelling help.

“I heard someone calling for help, said Sunset. Where does that come from?”

Sunlight run in the direction of the scream, which was at the East, followed by Sunset Shimmer. Sunlight arrive at the place and see that was a young boy who was surrounded by menacing men with terrifying costumes.

“Alright, give us back what you take from us and we will let you live” said one of them

“Never, said the boy, I won’t give it back!!”

“Then, we will take it by force” said another men.

“Hey, you, said Sunlight. Let this little boy alone!! Take someone of your caliber!”

Sunlight send off Houndoor, Ninetails, Incineroar and Delphox and Sunset, her send off Gallade and Kirlia. The criminals look at them with horrified faces.

“You are not so though now, said Sunset. We will give you two choice. Or you surrender and let us bring you at a police station, or you change of carrier and never stole pokemons again.”

The 5 criminals look at each other and decide to attack. They send their pokemons who were Garbordor. Croagunk, Muk, Tentacruel and Ariados.

“You are kidding right? Said their leader. We are the Toxic Terror, we won’t let random trainers arrest us...Ariados, use Sticky Web!!”

“Use Flamethrower, Ninetails, said Sunlight. Burn that web and his pokemon!!”

The flame burn the web and hit Ariados, who faint. The other members of the group pass to the attack.

“Gallade, said Sunset, Use Psycho cut on all of them!!”

Gallade throw multiple blades of Psychic energy who strike the Poison type pokemons of the enemies.

“It’ super effective!!” she said.

“Incineroar, use Darkest Lariat on Garbordor, said Sunlight. Delphox, use Psychic on Tentacruel and you two, Ninetails and Houndour, use Flamethrower on Muk!!”

Each of Sunlight’s pokemons throw their attacks on the bad guys pokemons which put them K.O.

“What, no!! This is impossible!! Said the chief of the gang. Let’s retreat!!”

“Oh, Heck no!! Said Sunset. Mew, please teleport them in this police office i saw at Lumiose City!”

Mew obey and teleport the 5 criminals in the middle of the police office, where they are arrested quickly. Then, A message appear after, which was saying: «These pieces of trash were in our way, so me and my friend picked up the garbage for you, Hope you enjoy the gift!!». But back at Sunset and Sunlight, they have returned their pokemons in their pokeballs and were about to leave.

“Hey, thank you!! Said the young boy. You two saved me!! Who are you? You look pretty strong!!”

“This is nothing, said Sunlight. We are just humble trainers who have the justice at heart.”

“Cool!! You are some kind of heroes? He asked. Awesome!! I want to be like you two, when i will be older!!”

The kid see Mew floating above Sunset’s head.

“Wow, is this Mew? Asked the young boy. My mother said that the rare peoples who have the chance to see him one day are incredibly lucky!! And today, i can see him!!”

Mew come close of the boy and land on his head, making him laugh.

“I have so much luck, he said. Let me reward you, i insist.”

The boy gave to Sunlight an egg he was hiding in his bag.

“I pick that egg from their lair, said the boy. These guys are criminals who stole pokemons and eggs who have potential and then sold them to evil organizations. I didn’t want this egg to serve as a weapon to destroy, so, i give it to you. I know in your hands, it will be in security.”

Then he give to Sunset a strange shiny crystal with a symbol on it.

“I don’t know what does that thing, said the boy, but the guy who gave it to me told me it had a connection with Mew.”

Cinder 2.0 (the Motisma-Dex) suddenly show up and analyze the crystal.

“No way!!! Said the talking pokedex. This is a Z-crystal!! And not any Z-crystal, this thing is a Mewnium Z!! This crystal, if put on a Z-Bracelet, can change Mew’s Psychic in a special Z-Move called Genesis Supernova!!”

“Really? Said Sunlight. Very nice...Not only she can already use the Mega-Evolution, but she also now got A Z-crystal made specially for Mew? You must be kidding me...”

“Where can i find a Z-Bracelet?” she asked.

“In a region called Alola” answered the Motisma-Dex.

“Goodbye, said the boy. And thank you!!”

“Thank you to you, answered Sunset. But can i ask you to not told anyone we saved you and arrested five criminals?”

“I promise” said the young boy.

The duo leave the boy and continue their trip. Sunlight was holding the egg in his hand, using his magic powers to heat it. Sunset her, showed the Mewnium Z to Mew.

“I am very lucky, she said to Sunlight. What are the odds of first become friend of Mew and then receive a magic crystal specially made for him for a random kid met in the middle of nowhere?”

“If you want my opinion, said Sunlight. I think someone might just favor you. Who, i don’t know, but i am sure this kind of coincidence is not due to chance, like if someone had control of our life.”

“You think someone wanted this to happen? She asked. Don’t be ridiculous, this is not like if we were just two fictional characters at the mercy of the imagination of some creepy fan who have a crush for me”

“Nah, you are right, that would be ridiculous, said Sunlight. We are real persons!! I just hope to get as much luck as you got”
