A cupcake, amongst other things...
Chapter 1: A wet and windy day
It was a wet day in Manteo, North Carolina, and the rain poured down and hit the pavement and soaked into the grass. The sky was grey. The weather was muggy. And it looked as though it would never stop. Jimmy sighed as he looked out of the window. He hated wet days.
As he looked out of the window, glum and sad, as the wet weather made him gloomy, his attention was suddenly drawn to the sound of a van coming to a stop outside his home. As he wondered who it was, as he was not expecting visitors today, there was a knock (knock knock), ring (ring ring), and then suddenly there were letters through his door. He walked to the door, as moments later there was another knock. He opened the door.
Standing before him was his usual postman, dressed in his familiar blue uniform with black tie. He smiled from beneath his glasses (what a weird expression). "Morning Jim!" he said.
"Hello Pat!" Jimmy replied. "I saw there's a lot of mail for me!"
"There is!" Pat replied. "There's also this parcel." He handed the box to him, which was in a brown box wrapped up awkwardly with string. "This one was a right mess when it got to the post office. Mrs. Goggins had a lot of trouble wrapping it up correctly."
Jimmy looked at it in confusion. "I don't recall ordering anything," he said, as he examined the badly smudged label as closely as he could. "One slight problem."
"Namely?" Pat asked.
"This is for 105 Devon Street, not 104."
"Oh muffins!" Pat exclaimed. "This will hopefully demonstrate of labeling parcels properly!"
"Fancy a cup of tea?" Jimmy asked. "I'll drop this off at Mr. Crumley's later today."
"Sorry, but I can't stop," Pat replied. "I've got a lot of mail to deliver today. With the highway over to Roanoke Island out of action, they've only just got all the mail for the weekend and today, not to mention the distribution center in Raleigh mixed up all of our post with theirs. Cheerio!" And he walked back to his van, getting in the old red vehicle and setting off. "Come on Jess!"
Jimmy waved as he drove away. "You can't help but like the guy. He's so friendly! You can tell he is a really happy man."
One scene transition later, Jimmy, keen to get out despite the terrible weather, set off into the rain and went over to Mr. Crumley's to drop off the parcel. He gave him the parcel, which turned out to be a new motor for his model boat he had been building for the last fifty years. Jimmy had a boat that had taken many decades to build, given to him by his father, but it didn't feature a motor.
After they had exchanged pleasantries, and Jimmy had had a very refreshing cup of coffee, he then set off walking in circles in the middle of the street.
"What are you doing?" asked Mr. Tedford.
"I'm doing my rounds!" Jimmy replied.
Eventually, he got tired of walking in circles, and set off into town. He headed for the local branch of Dunkin' Doughnuts, as apparently the owner was too lazy to include a 'g' in dunking. This was down on US 64, but to get there, Jimmy had to walk. Moments later, Reverend Naseby passed him on his bike.
"You need to be careful up ahead!" he said. "There's a Toad in the Hole in the Road!"

Ribbit.
"A Toad in the Hole in the Road!" Jimmy exclaimed.

Ribbit.
"I'd advise being careful," Reverend Naseby said. "It's big enough to swallow a cow!"
"Thanks for the warning!" Jimmy replied, and Naseby set off on his way. Jimmy strolled along the sidewalk until he saw the Toad in the Hole in the Road.

Ribbit.
"That is getting annoying," Jimmy said. He soon found that the Toad in the Hole in the Road-

Ribbit.

Thank you, Graham Chapman. Jimmy walked past the Toad in the Hole in the Road before it was successfully rescued by the EPA, and soon entered a local establishment of Dunkin' Doughnuts, where the heat at least made up for the rain. Jimmy was soon greeted by his favorite server, called Kiki.
"Good morning Jimmy!" she said.
"Good morning!" Jimmy replied. "This conversation feels like it was written by robots. I would like to order a cupcake with pink frosting and a cherry on top of it, if that is possible."
"Of course!" Kiki replied. Seconds after that very discussion was made, she produced a cupcake.
Jimmy was many things, however, he also was not some things. And sadly, thinking things through was not one of them, especially when it came to matters of the stomach. As a result, he thought it was a clever idea to eat it all in one go. He soon regretted that!
"Oooh dear!" he exclaimed. "Indigestion has claimed he, I meant me! Can you please point me to the bathrooms?"
"On the left," the serving person replied. Jimmy vanished in through the door, but not before said person caught a glimpse of an altered boot. "That was odd." Just then, the serving bell rang.
Jimmy was safely ensconced in the bathroom, ready to vomitificate, when he noticed something off with his person. His shoes were beholden to be a pair of yellow boots with white bases along with a belt buckle at the top of them to hold it in place, soon followed by his socks sitting underneath the top of the boots to prevent them rubbing against his skin. But then, his pants began to change, the legs merging together and the zip and button vanishing. The top of the pants (now a skirt) attached themselves to his shirt, which gained yellow very short sleeves, and the entire ensemble (barring the sleeves) turned a light blue, with a white belt around the center to keep it in place. His glasses than changed into a pair of garish yellow sunglasses. For some odd reason, the cupcake he had just eaten was now an image on the dress.
"Another background character, I see," he said. His skin turned to a light turquoise as his chest swelled up into a pair of breasts, followed soon after by purple eyes and long moderate Persian blue hair with a massive fringe. In the process, his face was completely altered which made his beard vanish. His arms shrank in length, his shoulders cracked inwards, and pressure soon built up around his hips until with a bang they exploded outwards. His manhood vanished into oblivion, and her legs shrank in length (transformation stories: the only genre where both gender pronouns can be used in the same sentence). All the clothing had adjusted to compensate.
Deciding to leave, Blueberry Cake used the door, wandering into the corridors of CHS as she did so (random teleporting). The clock buzzed, reminding her she had an after school event, and so she went to that. Sitting at the desks were Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, Watermelody, Mystery Mint, Starlight, Zecora, Trixie, and Cherry Crash. Cheerilee tapped the board, indicating they were to begin.
"Now then students, the fun of robotics!"
Blueberry rolled her eyes. "This is gonna be a long day...," she said, providing a sigh.
