something unexpected

“Sigh… Here I sit on my computer, doing nothing but watching YouTube,” he thinks to himself.

"God, my mind feels warped right now… I need to go for a run… Mum! I’m going to the park, okay?”

“Sure honey, but be back before 9. You need your strength for tomorrow.”

“Got it!”

He puts on his long track pants, fitted with cotton and stitched with carbon fibre thread to make it super strong so it can take a beating. He didn’t have a lot of money but he definitely had connections.

He puts his iPod on to listen to some music while he runs and as he reaches the side walk

*woosh*!!!!

He runs at full speed straight to the park. He wasn’t a person who exercised a lot but he knows how to run, and do it fast.

As soon as he reaches the park, he sees a bench and decides to sit down. The park has lots of trees and very large bushes that are hard to traverse, but he could handle it

He lies down to look at the night sky and turns his music off.

“Aah Luna, you have made a brilliant night sky tonight. Heh… if people still knew that I believe Luna raises the night and Celestia raises the day, people will think I’m crazy”

He then hears a quiet rustling in the bushes

He thinks to himself, “Heh nice try, but you aren’t getting past me.” He instantly gets up and starts climbing a high tree like a ninja. The rustling in the bushes gets louder but is still very quiet.

He jumps off to get ready to attack, his combat and ballistic knives loaded ambidextrously. He knew full well that the park was dangerous at night- not just criminals but wild animals too. He left most animals alone, though, as long as they didn’t attack him.

“Show yourself!”

“EEEEP!”

He gets ready, thumb on the trigger.

Something yellow gets pushed out of the bushes by the branches. At the same time an opossum or something crawling is behind her ready to attack.

The yellow animal freezes in fear.

“Stand perfectly still,” he says.

He aims for the possum

The possum was just about to attack when he fired the knife straight into it. It falls dead on the ground.

“Down and out, okay. Now let’s see what you…..you….are?!”

He is completely shocked from what he sees.

The yellow creature still frozen in fear turns her head away revealing the pink hair.

Pink?

Yellow fur??

Pink hair!?

“Excuse me, can you speak? Don’t worry,I’m not here to hurt you, just that opossum that attacked you. I promise…”

She calms down a bit but still not looking, turns only so he can just see her left eye as she mostly did in the show

"Please....Don't hurt me..."

It comes out no louder than a whisper, but he can still hear her.

He puts away his knifes and squats down, extending a hand.

"Don't worry. I’ve never hurt something that can't be a threat to me or anything else."

He thinks to himself, “Then I should probably stay away from Australia, where just about everything down there wants to kill you…”

"Do you have a name?" he says out loud.

Stupid question. He knows who she was but out of common politeness he asks anyways; he also needs to make sure he is seeing what he thinks he’s seeing.

She looks to the human with concern but she feels safe so she turns to him and placed a hoof in his hand.

"Um... My name is Fluttershy."

He felt his heart jump faster than Pinkie Pie with her Pinkie Sense going off. He holds the excitement in, to speak normally with her to avoid any chance of frightening her.

"Nice to meet you, Fluttershy. What are you doing around here? It's not safe here."

"I don't know… I was going into the Everfree forest with Twilight to visit Zecora but me and Twilight were flashed by some sort of light… It was really scary and then… I woke up here. Oh! Thank you for saving me before…"

"You’re welcome. It’ll be best if we get you to my house; then we will figure out what to do next. Did you see Twilight by any chance?"

"Um… no… I’m sorry… was I supposed to?”

She looks upset but hearing her voice so soft and timid is so cute… He is ready right then and there to hug her, but knows that it isn't the time.

"No no it's okay. We will see what we can do until then .Come with me; don't worry, I’ll protect you."

She sees the concern for her in his eyes and feels safe so she huddles up next to him as he walked.

It is about a 5 minute walk home and as he arrives at the door he instantly thinks, “Crap! How am I supposed to show mum and dad that I found a pony in the park?! Sigh… I’ll just make it up as I go.”

"Uh mum, I’m home and… we have a visitor."

"Did you bring Kane home again? You already saw him last weekend; doesn't he have work to do?"

Kane is an 'associate' of mine in a group I was in but I’ll get to that later.

"Uh, yeah he does and no it's not him."

Oh god what is she going to do if she sees I’ve taken home an alien from another universe?!

He squats and turned to Fluttershy and says, "Fluttershy, no matter what don't run; I’ll protect you, just keep behind me."

"Hey hunny, who is......is.......WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!?! BABE GET MY SHOTGUN; IT'S GOT OUR BOY!!"

"NO, STOP!” I cry, “DON'T HURT HER!"

He gives the look of concern and knowing why she would react that way.

"Sigh… okay. Who and what is she? And hang on: she? How do you know it's a she?"

"Here babe, blast its brains out. It's loaded."

The mother looks to the father and gives him the look saying it's fine, now trust me.

"WHAT IN JESUS CUPCAKES?! "

"Look, I know this is going to be hard to believe but this is Fluttershy... the pony from MLP."

The father gives a dumbfounded look and instantly says, "Impossible! She isn't supposed to exist!"

"I know but can’t you see she is here? Fluttershy, it's okay they won't hurt- DAD PUT THE FREAKING SHOTGUN AWAY OR SWEAR TO GOD I’LL TAKE IT BACK! IT'S STILL MY PROPERTY!"

The father flinches and unloads the clip, setting it down with safety on.

"Right anyways, please tell them you’re here, just say anything. They won't hurt you, I Pinkie Promise. 'Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.' There, see? Now you know that it won't happen."

"Um... hello, sir... ma’am… I’m Fluttershy. It’s very nice to meet you…"

The mother is first to reply. "Hi, Fluttershy. My name is Diana; I’m glad to know that you aren't trouble. Sorry for pointing the weapon at you…"

"Um… it's okay."

"Dear it's 9pm, so it's too late to go out and see where she came from. We will find out what to do tomorrow."

"Right. I’ll grab a mattress for her... Unless you want to sleep with me?"

"Um, I would like to stay with you please-I mean if that’s okay… I don't want to be a bother…"

Diabetes activate... Really the cuteness was almost overwhelming; I felt like I was going to just jump at her and give her a big hug.

"Oh no, it's fine. There should be plenty of space and don't worry; I’ll make sure that this house stays secure while you’re here, ok? We will find out what’s going on tomorrow."

As they go upstairs, Fluttershy sees a large door that were heading for. He opens the door and states, “My humble abode, fitted with facial recognition cameras and knock out dart shooters to keep the bad guys away and... Um never mind. Sorry I made all of this stuff. I do brag quite a bit. Sorry, bad habit; it’s hard to break."

"Oh it's okay. Um sorry but what's your name? It's okay if you don't want to tell…"

"Um well my name is... well it's Nexus."

"Oh? Well thanks again... Nexus, um, good night. I’m sorry but I usually sing good night to my little friends at the cottage… Um would you mind if..."

I stop her before she can finish.

"It's fine; you can sing. I would love to hear your singing voice."

"Oh um thank you...'Hush now quiet now; it's time to lay your sleepy head. Hush now quiet now; it's time to go to bed."

The voice is beautiful and soft... So hypnotizing it sends me straight to sleep. Before I drift off, though, I feel something soft cuddling up against me

All I can think is, “Best… night ever…”

on the run

"As the sun rises so must you nexus.....SEAL calls you she is more important than you know"

"should he know?...why can't we just tell him?

"no he's not ready yet. when the time comes he will know and SEAL will heed his aid"

"but what of fluttershy? are you sure he will protect her?"

"WHO'S THERE SHOW YOURSELF IM NOT AFRAID OF YOU!!!"

"he wakes and im positive.....he pinkie promised.....and no one breaks a pinkie promise"

"WHERE ARE YOU! FIGHT ME!!!"

fluttershy jumps out of bed and hides in a corner

"(Sigh) sorry fluttershy weird dream i get really worried when i can't even control what im doing so i resort to screaming and threating to fight to try and gain control of my body not that it's ever worked"

"um....okay what time is it? should we get up? i mean if you want i don't mind"

every time that i hear that voice i think i get diabeties from so much cute-ness it makes me want to just hug her really it's awesome i have my fav pony with me.....what? oh yeah why is she my fav blah blah blah what not blah blah yeah i know don't care um......did i just talk like im on skype with my mates?........i got to really get my head together....been talking to myself for 5 minutes.....not healthy also fluttershy is getting creeped out.

"it's about 8:20 sure ill go make breakfast how's scrambled eggs? i may be 14 but i cook like im a chef.....okay sorry i sound like i brag alot"

"oh no it's okay and thats sounds lovely"

i head downstairs and signal fluttershy to make herself comfortable on the couch i head to the fridge to get the eggs and milk i shut the fridge and get to work i turn my head to see fluttershy laying down on the couch with her head up look out the windows to see a large field of soft grass and a forest to border it

"heh mabey if we have time you can go have a fly in the forest it's alot safer in the day SHYZA DAMN THAT BURNS gah gota watch the stove"

her head poked up to see what i yelled about a turned into a frown she hoped off the couch and walked over to me to see whats wrong but by the time she got to me my burn marks were gone

"heh ah im a quick healer?"

i had some wierd things with me and i didn't want to freak out fluttershy when she is more at home here ill tell her.....well until we find a way to send her back

she saw that i was fine and went and layed back down on the couch and watch the trees of the forest gently sway in the breeze

"eggs are ready fluttershy here enjoy"

she sat up and i lay the eggs infront of her unsure of how she would eat them i gave her a fork a spoon

she picked them with her hooves like she had hands i was slightly surprised but i thought to myself

okay easy she is from a world that has softer physics boundries so as she is in this world ours are softten slightly to accompany her but still keep the high level rules to keep any paradox from rising....i watch too much doctor

she finished her eggs and smiled

"thank you the eggs were great"

"your welcome fluttershy so while we wait for mum and dad OH that reminds me my dads name is rex i don't know his real name he's part of a black ops group...."

"um whats black ops?"

I instantly facepalmed and thought; im a idiot they don't have a army in equestria so there would be no way they would have a black ops group

"nevermind it's a part of my world"

"oh sorry was i supposed to know?"

"nah it's fine lets talk about something else"

"oh um did you know that...."

they start to talk for about a hour until rex comes down to answer the door and 3 black men in suits come to the door

"nexus out now take her with you ill handle this"

"shyza not good fluttershy come now"

"whats wrong?"

"just come with me now to my room"

fluttershy was worried but went with him anyway

"excuse me sir but are you aware that late last night there was a large amount radiation last night in the nearby forest and a trail aws led here i know that this is sily but we insist that we search your home for any extratrestial"

"agent rex black ops group delta pleasure to meet you please give me a second"

he bangs on the wall next to him revealing a button he pushes it fast and it retracts sending a signal to nexus's room and a wall on his room reveals a flashing blue picture of a pegasus

"oh shit not good we need to get outa here NOW wait here i got to go grab some gear"

"oh dear whats happening?"

he goes to his closet and bangs the back and it spins to show a army bag and a large sealed vial of tiny mettalic orbs grabs it and stores it in a compartment in the side of the bag then runs back to fluttershy

"were leaving come on can you fly? i need you to see what is out there we are called humans see how many"

she nodded and hopped out the window the nexus had opened as he was talking

she sneaks on the roof and looks at the front of the house and instantly bobs down shivering, she flys back into the window still scared

"there are 3 big black rectangle things out the front and at least 10 humans in suits and at the least 20 big weird chunky humans pointing long box like things like a rectangle witha triangle at the back against their sholders"

"........balls.....OH-KAY DO-KAY WERE MAKING TRACKS"

at this point he jumps out the window which is 3 storys high and lands perfectly on the ground. fluttershy follows and flys beside him as he peaks around the corner to check his surroundings

"okay to many near the front and their don't look stupid enough to not sucure the back too we better get going"

"um nexus whats wrong whats happening?"

"look ill explain later but now we need to get outa.....THERE THE FOREST come follow me"

"are you sure i think they might just want some kindness they look sad"

"they probly do but i don't think they will give any back. i swear to celestia they will.....NOT.....HAVE........YOU!"

she nodded

"right try to keep up with me"

he ran straight to the forest making sure to be perfectly still in the dark forest with the trees blocking out almost any sunlight as he dashed from tree to tree to keep hidden from the huge force outside the house

fluttershy flys to him. high up to do as he said and stay hidden

he stops and grabs a ear piece from the front and epuips it. he listens to the radio

"alpha team sucure the back we got clearance"

"oh god that was close.....dad you there? respond....code pegasus 23"

"(sigh) oh god good you got out....im gonna use the escape tunnels"

"get one of the bikes and get mum to as well and get out quick......"

"i love ya"

"love you too kiddo"

he switches off and stands up putting the piece back

"okay road to the city's over there we will have to leg it the rest of the way"

"whats happening?"

she said with a corcerned look

"they are hear to take you your not from this world so they try to get rid of anything that might harm it no matter what they will experiment on you and not in a good way we need to leave hang on"

he opens up a large zipper in the bag and takes out a pair of metal leg straps they open in half and he puts each one on the bottom half of the leg that goes from the bottom of his knee cap to his ankle it has a large tube with blue liquid in it

"GAH (huff) alright done"

a tiny bit of the liquid in the tube drains looking like it was going into his leg

he signals fluttershy to follow and he grips his backpack and......

"YAAAAAAA!!!!!!"

he runs at imense speeds and fluttershy just manages to keep up with nexus. he clears the forest to reveal a desert road in less than a minute clearing a half a acre he stops at a sign stating" bakases city one mile"

he pops his bag off and grabs a silver strap the size of a towel

"flutterhsy i need you to trust me for a minute"

"um okay"

"im going to give you a highly top secret gadget okay i call it "the camelleon suit" it allows you to blend in to your surroundings and when you get scared and it senses your in trouble it will camoflaged to make you seem invisble to others this might be a bit scary but it will be fine okay just trust me"

she hangs her head and sighs

"okay nexus i trust you"

he nods and clips the strap on fluttershy who closes her eyes it slowly starts to ingulf her until from tail to nose all of her body looked like it was a giant circuit board it quickly started to dissapear in her she opened her eyes

"that felt..........weird"

"it's fine your skin is now part bio mech which means that your part machine you speed has incressed your strength you reaction time your smell excetera"

"oh...oh my"

"GAH (huff) like my leg straps here they increase my speed 10 fold they inject me with a adrenailine rush that circles my legs to increase my pain threshe hold in my legs to let me run fast"

"oh um thats great but how do you do all this?"

they turn to the city sign and nexus says

"there is alot that people don't know about me but i know one thing....we have a long way to go to get some answers and it is going to be on hell of a ride"

AUTHOR'S NOTE: im sorry this took soooooo long but i have school so yeah im also having weird dreams about this so i use those to play out my story HOPE YOU LIKE IT :D
