For many in Pre-War Equestria, the moon has captivated the minds and hearts of those that gaze upon its majestic presence. The return of Princess Luna from her exile caused many to dream of one day reaching the moon's surface, to walk where she once did. And with the advancement of technology, that dream seemed within reach. Then the world was consumed by war and annihilated by magical balefire.
Over two hundred years later, a unicorn, haunted by the sins of his past, stumbles upon the remains of an old missile silo. Inside, he finds the ghoulified survivors of the old world along with the very weapons that destroyed Old Equestria. And it is there that he'll realize one important fact: Some dreams just refuse to die, regardless of how misguided those dreams may seem.
