Rainbow Dash, Soarin and Scootaloo were on their way to the hearing by Scootaloo's guard, they had left Raindrop with Fluttershy while they were gone.

"Are you sure you're ready for this, Dashie?" Soarin asked his wife who seemed very concerned about all of this.

"Yes .... I just want to get this over with," Dash said

Soarin then came over and kissed Dash's cheek.

"Don't worry sweetheart, everything will be fine" he said

"Dad, what's going on? Why are we here? And why does Mommy look so worried?" Scootaloo asked a little worried

"Don't worry about it Scoots, we just need to answer a few questions for the judge. There is nothing you can worry about" Soarin said reassuring Scootaloo a little.

Soon after, the three ponies entered the courtroom, and sat down to begin the trial. Feather was sitting next to them, and Soarin was looking at him with a somber expression.

"Can we start the hearing?" The judge asked, and everyone nodded

"Very well, Mr. Feather Fire decided to open this hearing by guarding his daughter Scootaloo, who is now in the care of her mother Rainbow Dash and her stepfather Soarin. Mr. Feather, why exactly did you decide to open this hearing?" The judge said

"As you can see, Your Honor, Rainbow Dash and I are Scootaloo's biological parents, and well I decided to open this hearing because I wanted to have the chance to take care of my daughter as like mother" Feather said

"Does Miss Rainbow Dash have anything to say?" The judge asked

"I ..." Dash couldn't finish the sentence, she was very nervous.

"I'm going to say what she was going to say. She wanted to say that she is totally against this audience because she doesn't want me to have a chance to take care of our daughter. But I will say that I have the same right in relation to that, because after all I am the biological father "Feather said

Soarin finally decided to say something in defense of Dash.

"Your Honor, this gentleman just forgot to say that he raped Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo in the past when he was just a baby, he disappeared for years without breaking the news, and he never cares to know about his daughter" Soarin said

"Yes, but I've changed a lot about it. I want to start my life over. I'm not that violent pony I was anymore, and to your knowledge Soarin I always cared about my daughter, even when I was away. I just want to have the same chance as Dash to raise my daughter, but she is very selfish about it. A few days ago I wanted to take my daughter for a walk in the park but the mother’s selfishness didn’t let "Feather said, Rainbow Dash was dying of rage right now.

The judges were now making their decision on what to do with this case.

"We have already made our decision and well, Feather Fire for being Scootaloo's biological father has every right to be present in his daughter's life, which is why from today he will be temporarily guarding Scootaloo" judge said hitting his object on the table

Rainbow Dash couldn't believe what you just heard.

"Your Honor, didn't you hear the part that Feather is a violent guy? Why does he have to take care of my daughter !?" Rainbow Dash said

"Miss Dash, he is Scootaloo's father, he has the same right as you to raise the child. And as he said, he has changed for the better, and besides he is temporarily. If he proves not to be a good father in a while month, Scootaloo's guard will stay with you again "the judge said

"But..."

Feather then approached Scootaloo.

"Come on Scootaloo, starting today you're going to live with me" Feather said

"What? But what about my mother?" Scootaloo said a little confused

"Don't worry about it Scootaloo, you will continue to live with her every day. The only difference is that you will be living with me from now on" he said

Scootaloo nodded slowly. She then approached her mother who was crying a lot. Rainbow Dash then pulled Scootaloo into a tight hug while crying.

"It'll be okay mom" Scootaloo said

"No Scootaloo. I can find a way to talk to Twilight or Princess Celestia or-"

"No mom, you better not try to do anything. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine with my father"

"I hope so ... I love you Scootaloo"

"I love you too, mommy ..."

"Come on Scootaloo, I have to show you, your new home" Feather said as he approached Scootaloo and took her hull.

"Ok"

And so the two ponies went out through the courthouse door. Leaving Rainbow Dash crying a lot while Soarin hugged her and did everything to comfort her.

"Don't worry Dashie, we'll get Scootaloo's guard again" Soarin said as he kissed Dash's forehead.

"I ... I hope so ..." Dash said while crying
