Rainbow Dash was putting Scootaloo to sleep in her bed, as she always did, until Feather approached her.

"Hey Dash! Putting our daughter to bed right?" Feather said

"It is not obvious?" Dash said looking away

"Come on Rainbow Dash you can't be mad at me forever. Remember I'm the father of our daughter and-" Feather was cut by Dash

"Feather, the fact that we have a daughter together doesn't mean I should forgive you for everything you did to me."

"I know but ... I want to find a way to make up for you for everything I've done in the past."

"Feather I don't think there's much to do now"

"Are you sure about that?" Dash nodded.

She was about to leave the room when Feather suddenly grabbed her by the hull and pulled her close to him.

"Look no matter what you say, I'll do everything to make our daughter happy with the best parents she could have," he said.

"You mean ... Soarin and me?" Feather shook her head.

"No Dash, I mean us"

Dash's eyes widened

"Feather, I don't think it's a good idea ..."

"Just give me a chance as our daughter's father, and maybe .... As a husband?"

Rainbow Dash said nothing she just kept quiet after he said that. Soarin entered the room and his eyes widened when he saw Rainbow Dash and Feather very close to each other.

"Am I interrupting anything?" Soarin said in a half nervous tone

Rainbow Dash quickly stepped away from Feather and approached Soarin.

"No, certainly not," she said.

"Well I'm going, but tomorrow I'll be back to see Scootaloo. See you tomorrow everypony," Feather said as he left the room, and left. Soarin then stared at Rainbow Dash.

"Well ... what was that Dash?" He said

"What?"

"Yeah, Dash ... When I arrived I saw that you and Feather were very close to each other."

"Soarin you can rest easy about this, nothing happened between us"

"Are you sure about that? Because he seemed to have ulterior motives with you."

"Yes Soarin, I'm sure, and besides, Feather knows very well that now I'm married, and I'm very happy with the stud I married."

Soarin smiled and then pulled Rainbow Dash into a hug.

"I know that Dash, I just get uncomfortable around this guy ..."

"Don't worry about it, me too. I love you Soarin, and only you. I could never love anyone, how much I love you."

"I love you too Dash ..."

The next day Scootaloo had woken up before everyone else, she was very anxious to spend the day with her father.

"Oh I can't wait for him to get here!"

"Who Scootaloo?" Dash asked

"My father of course!" Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow at her.

"We'd better take it easy on this Scootaloo, he just came back after years. We don't really know what his intentions are ..."

"Mom? Are you doubting my dad?"

"No but ... I have my doubts ..."

A few minutes later Feather finally showed up at Rainbow Dash's house.

"Hello my girls! So who's ready for a walk in the park?" Rainbow Dash looked away from him.

"I'm sorry to tell you this Feather but ... we won't be able to walk you today" she said

"What? Why?" Feather said

"Because I remembered that Scootaloo and I had important things to do today."

"Mom we don't-" Scootaloo was cut by his mother's hoof in her mouth

"No Scootaloo, we really have a lot to do, now go to your room"

Scootaloo left the room with a sad expression

"What are you trying with this Dash?" Feather said

"Nothing, I just remembered that I had important things to do"

"Rainbow Dash don't lie to me, I know a liar from afar"

"Maybe it's because you're a..." Dash whispered to herself.

"What?"

"Nothing, now you better leave"

"Rainbow Dash you'll still regret it," Feather said as he flew away.

Dash just sighed and closed the door
