Equestria was having its very own death wish. It was only a matter of time until somepony pushed that big red button, releasing pony hell across the entirety of Equestria. A pegasus called Falcon was among the hundreds of thousands of victims. Victims that didn't know what was going to happen to them soon.

Falcon was a pegasus that have lived their life, following in the shadow of a certain pegasus mare, Rainbow Dash! Falcon remembered the time that all ponies had been together. Earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi. Now that everypony was believing superstitions, everypony was blind to the fact that they were super discriminating towards each other's race.

Falcon contemplated each of the race's goals for everypony and thought it over. The earth ponies were trying to build 'stables' to protect everypony from a worldly disaster. Little did they know, the stables would vary in survivability, some would eventually fall and some would never open the doors. The unicorns were heavily focused on research and making more stuff, protection spells and other things to keep ponies alive. This was all top of the list, but keeping ahead of the zebras seemed to be the top priority though. The pegusi, they were a strange bunch of ponies. They were helping all of the groups, but they were all slowly losing trust in their leader and the other types of ponies.

All of this forced everypony to change. It wasn't for the better, it was for the worse. Everypony had taken the entire situation out of hoof, just because one zebra had done something bad. Now, pony kind was hostile against any and all zebras. Falcon was sure that that was a bad move on the ponies part. They had lost trust in any zebra that they originally had trust in.

Falcon flew down from the clouds and observed everything. The ponies had ruined the landscape. Factories and plantations filled the once beautiful landscape, replacing the natural feeling for one of misery. Pony made buildings covering such a lovely landscape. He flew across the land and saw multiple buildings. It was a little clutter of cottages.

Falcon landed on the ground and walked about a bit. The vegetation was dull and nearly lifeless. This expanded across most of Equestria, because of the land being used up. Falcon hated it! He wanted things to go back to the times when everypony was friends with everypony. A time when ponies used to… talk. Now, they just communicated with one another, not expressing anything else. There were no feelings of happiness anymore, only drive.

Falcon observed a wall, showing the ministry mares. Each mare was fighting for something different. Twilight's ministry was fighting for intelligence and research. Rainbow Dash's ministry was fighting for protection of the skies. Applejack's ministry wanted protection for the land and ponies on it. Fluttershy's ministry was fighting for peace and equality. Rarity's ministry wanted technology and advancement and Pinkie Pie's ministry wanted the truth and law. Nopony had the same opinion and it was driving them apart.

All of the times Twilight and her friends had fought evil, they were together. They could accomplish anything, but since they weren't together, they hadn't been successful. That made them who they were to that day. No longer friends, but acquaintances. Their friendships didn't last, because life tore them apart from one another.

Falcon looked down at a puddle on the floor. It was so stupid that the world was falling apart, due to an attack that ponies blamed on he entirety of zebra-kind. Falcon then looked up as he heard something travelling in the air. He had never heard of that type of sound before, so he was curious to see what it was.

Falcon knew that death was coming, but he didn't know exactly how everything would work. He didn't know how death would appear, until he got to it. He turned around at a large bang, followed by the earth shaking. He had found death and was looking it directly in the eyes. A balefire bomb! A nuclear warhead! The end of pony kind! His ears folded back and he flew directly up. He wasn't fast enough though, as the hot flaming air filled his lungs, as the light crept closer.

Falcon looked at a ripped poster at the bottom. It was one of Fluttershy's posters, trying to promote zebra equality. It had been ripped and a faint 'never' had been written on it, in bold black ink. Falcon sighed, ashamed of all pony kind.

His life flashed before his eyes, as he looked over it all. He evaluated the problem that led to the events of the war. Twilight Sparkle and her friends, they fell apart! They got torn away from each other and fell at all hurdles when they were divided. They were all best friends and were all useless when they were apart. That combined with Princess Luna being on the throne, made Equestria fall.

That was what Falcon believed, as his wings evaporated, along with the rest of his body, turning it into dust as it landed softly on the ground. Falcon was no more, neither was Equestria. Anything that was outside, surely would have died. Falcon's necklace laid on the floor, in place of where he stood. Ponies that didn't get into the stables, accepted their fate and were reduced to nothing but shadows on the surrounding walls. A stain of a not so distant path.

A pony scraped their hoof on the slightly lighter section of the floor, realising that the lighter spot was in the shape of a pony. Maybe two hundred years ago, that could have been a pony, trying to survive. Those shadows were imprinted on some surfaces of buildings and even in some cave entrances.

The apocalypse was now, a new future was in the making. That was the last thought that went through the pony who scraped their hoof, before a bullet went flying through their skull, painting the lighter section of the floor, with a red stain. The mark of the present! This was the Wasteland!

This was the fallout!
