After the villains were struck by the rainbow beam, they saw that they were all in their normal states once again. The heroes landed softly on the ground after. Tirek and Cozy Glow were frightened now, but Chrysalis was furiously angry.

"You think Friendship will save you!?! WE WILL ALWAYS RETURN!! AND NOTHING WILL EVER STO-" Then a giant cupcake fell on the three, and it started raining chocolate.

Spike extended his hand and then licked it. "Chocolate rain?" He said confused. The heroes turned their attention to the princesses and Starlight, who teleported herself and Discord next to the two of them.

"Well, don't look at me," Discord said in his defense. Twilight and Spike looked over to see Pinkie with Grogar's Bell, white electricity surrounding her and the bell itself.

"Pinkie, you took Discord's magic from the bell? How do you feel?" Twilight asked with concern.

"Hm... Tingly, itchy and..." Then Pinkie began to grow with crazy mane. "LIKE I COULD TURN EVERYTHING IN THE COSMOS INTO ICING!!!" She shouted mightily.

"Uh, maybe I should..." Discord flew to Pinkie and took the bell out of her hoof, causing her to shrink to her normal size and return to normal.

Twilight caught Pinkie from her fall. "Glitter, there's some chaos in my soup..." Pinkie says dizzily. Discord uses the bell and takes his magic back. He snapped his fingers and a living pineapple appeared in front of him. He then used the bell and gave Celestia and Luna's magic back.

Their manes flowed in the wind once more as they smiled.

The villains crawled out of the giant cupcake. After that, Discord made it disappear, and Celestia and Luna took steps forward.

"There is no punishment worthy for what you've done!" Celestia proclaimed. And then Discord whispered his idea in Celestia and Luna’s ears.

“Ooh, that does seem fitting.” Luna agreed.

"May I help?" Asked the Discord on the Left. "Please?" The Discord on the right pleaded. Celestia simply giggled.

"Of course Discord." Then the two sisters charged their horns, and Discord charged his palms. The villains gasped in worry.

Spike was deep in thought about what the three were about to do, but when Chrysalis released him from her spell that could've torn his wings right off of his body, he felt a strange feeling for her and the other villains.

So there was only one thing he decided to do...

Celestia, Luna and Discord were about to fire...

“No,” said a sudden voice in front of the princesses. The two and Discord stopped and looked down to see Spike.

Spike himself, has just asked princesses and Discord to not fire, at least yet. The three and the heroes of Equestria were shocked.

The armies of Equestria murmured and whispered in great confusion and shock as well.

The villains were just as confused as to why this dragon stopped his own friends from firing whatever spell they were about to fire at them.

"S-Spike, what is the meaning of this?" Celestia asked in a great deal of perplexity.

"I know that they've done a lot of terrible things that can't be forgiven. But even after all they've done... they don't deserve it..." Spike said calmly with reason. he turned to the villains and began to approach them slowly.

Twilight and the others watched in great shock as their baby dragon friend approached the villains.

“Spike, what are you doing?” Twilight whispered worriedly.

“Is he nuts?!” Rainbow whispered loudly.

Celestia and Luna also watched with worry as the young dragon approached the villains.

“What is he doing?” Luna asked.

Celestia was silent for a moment before she spoke.

“He wants to change them...” She said in thoughtfulness.

Spike stopped just a couple feet away from the villains.

The villains simply stated at the baby dragon with a great deal of confusion.

“Tirek... Chrysalis... Cozy Glow...”

The villains arched an eyebrow in confusion.

“I’m sorry...” Spike said, then he raised his right hand and extended it to the three.

The villains were very confused. Chrysalis was the first to speak.

“What are you doing?”

“I want you to join me...”

“Join you?” Tirek asked.

Spike merely nodded. “All these people... all of these armies... they don’t think you guys are capable of changing... but I want to show you that I do believe you can change...”

“Change? Ha! You think we would want change just because we wanted friends? To join you on your little quest of friendship all around Equestria?” Chrysalis scoffed.

“No... It took me a very long tome to see it, but now I think I understand what all of this is for...” Spike says warmly.

“Oh? And just what is it that you think we do all of this for, little whelp?” Tirek asked as he crossed his arms.

Spike simply smiled warmly at the three villains.

“A family...”

The three villains were confused once more.

“Chrysalis... I saw you hiding the day you decided to leave your kingdom when Starlight defeated you... I saw you weeping in sorrow and grief that you felt abandoned for your own kind- your own children as they accepted something that you didn’t want, we at least didn’t want to think about... I saw you regretting your decision for leaving your hive and leaving your children to learn a better way of life that you thought was corruptive.”

“I am sorry that we made you feel that way, I’m sorry that you felt that we took your children from you... But that can change Chrysalis, you can be with your home again... Your kids are waiting for you to come home... you just have to find a better to take care of them.”

“You’re not a bad mother, you were just a little strayed... that’s all...”

Chrysalis looked down in thought of what Spike said to her, she never really that about anyone thinking of her kingdom as a family to her before.

“Cozy... I don’t know where you come from are how you were raised, I don’t know how you did things when you were younger, but my guess is that you’re an orphan... I don’t know for sure... but that’s my theory...”

Cozy simply rolled her eyes and continued to listen with a little respect.

“If your purpose for all of this is not friendship but for a family, that chance is still waiting for you to accept it. the moment I saw what you wanted in your eyes, I knew that you were lying about wanting to make friends... you didn’t want friends... you wanted a family... I don’t know what things about family go through your head, but whatever you’re thinking about family, it doesn’t have to be bad. You can give this new opportunity a chance... if you can give it a chance... I... can be... your brother...”

“And magic doesn’t make who you are, you can be whoever you want to be, you can fly fast, you can dodge obstacles that come in your way, you’d even be faster than me without magic... you can even be my sister... you just have to give me a chance...”

Cozy started thinking about what Spike was saying as well.

“Tirek... I know you’re not in for family stuff a lot... but I think if you can give everyone a chance at being nice... you’d have a great family waiting for you...”

Tirek started thinking with a hand to his chin.

The villains were all in thought of what the young dragon had said to them, long, hard and sincerely.

After a few moments of thinking, Cozy was the first to approach Spike.

Spike simply stood there as Cozy landed in front of him.

Cozy and Spike stayed for a long while.

Finally, Cozy made her decision as her eyes started to well up with tears. She surprised Spike when she hugged him and started crying.

Spike was more than happy with Cozy’s decision as he hugged her tightly back.

Cozy sniffled a couple of times before she spoke.

“T-Thank you...” She whispered.

“Welcome to the family... sis,” Spike said warmly.

Chrysalis approached the two and waited until Cozy was done.

Cozy released Spike and flew to his side.

Chrysalis lowered her head and nuzzled his left cheek. Spike returned the affection by hugging her neck.

“I’ve hated ponies for so long...” Chrysalis said regretfully.

Tirek approached the two and rubbed Spike’s head.

Chrysalis raised her head as she smiled happily at the young dragon. Tirek, too, smiled at the young dragon.

Spike felt proud of not only himself, but for the potentially former villains that decided to join him.

The villains smiled at the dragon, until Tirek and Chrysalis felt a great, tremendous presence of gloom and despair, fear becoming instilled in their hearts.

Spike and Cozy were concerned of why the villains were suddenly scared.

Suddenly, a black and blood red portal appeared right above the two a couple yards high.

Then red smoke came from the bottom of the portal and descended ever so softly upon the former villains.

After what seemed like only hours of suspense, there was mechanical and ethereal breathing. A glowing red shape appeared from the darkness.

Then a pony-dragon hybrid came through the portal walking as a celestial deity.

Her fur was dark grey with a jagged and serrated red horn on a crown made of little dark orbs with runes on them, and she wore a mechanical helmet with a glowing red visor, and a strange symbol on the forehead.

Her hooves and tail were replaced with dragon claws and feet and a dragon tail with feathery legs, large dragon spines running from her neck to her tail, and dragon wings with red sails and dark grey feathers between the fingers.

She wore a black suit under dark-colored armor with the same symbols as the helmet's forehead, and a cloak over the torso and legs, and a red and black cape donned her as well.

She was all tall as Luna, but her age could be identified because of the mask.

Sheathed on her left side was a mechanical dark grey handle with a double-layered tube on the top and the bottom with dragon skulls and symbols on the handle, wrapped in black bands.

The creature breathed ethereally with ripples in his throat. The armies, heroes and villains of Equestria, the entire world stared at him in shock and fear.

"Somehow, I highly doubt that's a good sign..." Says Tempest.

"It's not... It is a warrior of an ancient realm... I just thought I'd never see one in personification..." Says Starswirl.

The strange and ominous figure drops to the ground on one knee, the portal above her closed.

Luna and Celestia charged their horns while Discord charged his palms, Twilight and her friends getting into battle stance as well, but with fear inside of them.

Chrysalis and Tirek simply stood there in great fear, and usually they didn't fear anything. The figure rose and walked up to the two, an expression that could not be found behind the visor.

"You were not supposed to fail, Officers... Yet... you did..." The figure's voice was synthetic and echo-like, but it was calm and elegant.

Tirek and Chrysalis simply stood in their places with no intentions to run from what seemed to be their master.

"You know the penalty...

The figure took out her weapon and ignited it.

The top tube ignited a blade that formed out of red fire and solidified into red crystals with dark electricity inside.

Chrysalis and Tirek looked at Spike miserably with tears welled up.

"Save them," Chrysalis said before the figure slayed the two with his blade, their bodies beginning to rapidly deteriorate and their bones growing leaky red crystals.

Everyone either gasped or screamed in shock.

"Funny, I would have expected a challenge from them... I suppose not though."

"Twilight! You must use the Magic of Friendship once more!" Celestia called out. Twilight and the others nodded, and charged the magic within them. Twilight's friends, the Young Six, and the Old Pillars of Equestria shot their rainbows at Twilight, and she fired upwards. The rainbow beam then came down and plummeted on the newcomer.

But she teleported out of the way just in time before the beam hit her. She reappeared just in front of it.

Everyone stood in complete shock and perplexion. "Th-That's impossible! Nopony's ever dodged the Magic of Friendship..." Twilight said, confounded.

The figure charged her horn and teleported Grogar's Bell to herself.

"My child... You have no idea what is possible," The figure said hauntingly. Then she turned the bell towards everypony and was about to zap it.

"No! Not this time!" Celestia said. She charged her horn and tried teleport the bell to herself.

"Celestia, no!" Discord cried.

The figure had the bell in a mid-ghostly state as she tried to pull it towards herself. Celestia and the figure pulled harder on the bell towards one another.

The bell began to pry apart with blue cracks and smoke in the middle.

Luna used her magic to pull the bell towards Equestria's side as well.

"Luna, stop!" Discord cried.

The bell cracked and pried even more, the cracks turning to a pinkish-magenta color with more smoke, and sparks of electricity crackling out of the bell everywhere.

"The bell must not be torn apart!" Discord shouted.

"If she uses the bell she will drain all of Equestria of Magic!" Celestia said.

"The veil will be broken of the bell is!" Discord stated.

The bell began to crackle must ferociously is the cracks turned red and released a black and red beam at the sky's atmosphere above everything, red sparks and black electricity surrounding the beam as it shot up at light speed. The beam hit the sky with a shockwave and started to cause tremendous, ethereal red cracks in the atmosphere like glass.

"Stop! STOP!!" Discord shouted, but the two sisters wouldn't listen.

The bell released a strong shockwave at the sky, causing more cracks.

"NOOOOOO!!!!" Discord screamed. Then the bell was torn in two, releasing a mighty shockwave above, breaking the sky like glass as it quaked greatly.

One half of the bell landed in front of the two sisters, and the other half landed in front of the figure.

Up in the shattered sky was a glorious city with a view of a very starry sky with a very white moon, white clouds swirling around what appeared to be a tremendous, heavenly citadel laced with grace and reverence. A massive circle of white buildings large and mighty, small and noble, and a mighty wall that surrounded it all.

Outside of the world you could see 4 more locations shattering like glass above specific places, the atmosphere quaking with great force around the world. However, one location in the sea shattered and quaked into destruction as the fifth realm revealed itself from the veil.

Everyone and everypony stared at the sky in petrifaction, either breathing heavily or screaming in sheer terror.

The princesses, the heroes, Spike and Cozy looked at the figure in tremendous shock.

The city above shined brightly with many lights glowing brightly within the night. The figure then looked at the armies of Equestria, just as they looked at her. Then she turned her attention to Celestia.

"The war has begun once more, princess... You should've known this to come." And with that, the figure disappeared, along with the broken bell.

Everyone stood in great shock of what had just happened to an unknown veil between them and the realm above. Celestia knew this would come. If the bell was ever broken, the veil would break with it. And now...

It was done...

The bell... Broken...

The veil... Shattered...

The altered realm... Released...

Celestia should have prepared for this prophecy, but she neglected it like a myth... Now... The altered realm and its inhabitants... are released and free...

The Forgotten War...
