The Zombie Chronicles
Chapter 2
Previous Chapter Next ChapterI placed my left forearm on the neck on the zombie and swing my right hand and smash its jaw. I grabbed it's rotten face and slam it into the street. I beat it's head on the ground, blood splattering on my t-shirt and jeans. I beat him till he died, I stood up and picked up my ax, and looked around the dead city.
I wanted out of this city of death. My head swirled with thoughts, the biggest one was what felt like the only way out, Suicide. No, I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head, no zombies. I heard a faint crackle sound and a image flashed in front of my eyes, a burning hotel, some of the darkened glass broken. I felt a odd feeling, I felt adrenaline flow through my body, my eyes shifted left and right, I felt the warm lick of breath on my back and I spun around and swung my ax. I miss the small figure of a human.
"NNAH!" she screamed, and jumped back, "Watch where you swing that thing, faggot!" she yelled at me in a western accent. "Sorry," I say, shyly, scratching the back of my soft, brown hair. Its sunset, time to sleep. she pulls a lantern out of her old, tan knapsack and lit it.
I closed my eyes and fell asleep. I woke up at what looked like 12am and looked at the sky then turned on my side to see the girl, not sure her name. I stood up on my still half asleep legs and half walked and half hobbled to her lantern and looked into her knapsack and looked for a weapon, or something, after looking through her knapsack, I found a hatchet and a few batteries for her lantern.
I ran from the small camp, with the hatchet and the lantern. I run around the buildings. I came across a zombie, its dark gray eyes filled with a sad hate, its gray skin torn. fight time!
