(Rainbow Dash POV)

It had been 2 weeks since Soarin and I got married, and I could say that was the best decision we made. We have been living happily ever since, the days have been great. Ok more or less great. In the last few days I was not feeling very well, yesterday I checked in at Ponyville Hospital and when the doctor gave me the result of what was happening to me, I completely froze, I almost fainted. "How are you feeling sweetie?"

"Wwwwwwwaaaaaaa" a foal's crying was all Dash needed to have a smile on his face

"Congratulations, Mr and Mrs. Dash, you now have two beautiful and healthy fillies!" The doctor congratulated us as he handed the second colt to another nurse so he could be cleaned.

"You got Dashie, you brought two little miracles to the world! I'm the luckiest stallion of all!" I said as I leaned into Dash and kissed her softly on the lips.

"Hi girls, how are you? I'm your mommy and that's your daddy" Dash said, pointing at me.

I leaned closer to her and sat down next to her on the bed.

"Hey girls, I just want you to know that your mommy and I love you guys so much, and we're not going to let anything bad happen to you, let's protect you no matter what, do not worry" I said, stroking the twins's mane. who happily smiled at me and I returned the very happy smile.

After a while I lay down next to Dash with the twins in the middle of the two of us, and we just watched our fowls in silence. Until there came a point where Dash began to close his eyes falling into a deep sleep.
I smiled at her and kissed her gently on the head, after which I wrapped another blanket in the twins and they snuggled deeper into me and Dash as they slept.

"I love you three, more than anything else in this world.I will never abandon you or let anything happen to you" I said softly as I leaned down and kissed the twins and Dash on the forehead. After that I also started to close my eyes and fall into a deep sleep just thinking about what a new day could bring ....

A few days later, Dash and I were released to go home with the twins, and we were still a bit unsafe with all of that, of course it was a big change in our lives, now we were the parents of two. But as always we were determined to go through any challenge, mainly because we had each other.

"Congratulations again, Mr. and Mrs. Dash, good luck in the lives of parents!" A doctor said at the hospital door as we went out with the twins in our helmets.

"Thank you" I said.

"Oh my gosh, I can finally fly again! You have no idea how difficult it was to be without flying for 9 whole months" Dash said as she held up Shooting Star. I was holding Ragtag and walking right next to her.

"Whoa, come on, Dash. You just had two babies, do not you think you should wait a little longer before you go back to your old routine?" I said looking at Dash.

She rolled her eyes and looked back at me.

"Oh come on, I've waited too long to be able to fly again, you know that! I'll be fine" she said.

"Yes Dashie I know, but I love you Dashie, and I could not bear to see something happening to you, you know I just want to keep you safe" I said as I leaned down and stroked Dash's cheek with his face.

"Soarin, I love you too, but please do not be so protective of me okay? Alias, I'm the hardest mare you've ever met, is it?" She said as she leaned over and kissed me on the cheek.

"Yes"

The twins then started laughing for some reason, then Dash leaned over and kissed the two babies on the forehead.

"Let's go home"

"Well, home sweet home" I said as Dash and I walked in with the babies.

"They must be hungry, Soarin you stay with them while I prepare their bottle" Rainbow said as she handed me Shooting Star, and I kept the two babies in their hooves.

"Okay sweetie" I said.

With that Dash began to walk towards the kitchen leaving me alone with the twins.

I had no idea what to do at the time, it was all too new for me and both for Dash, we had two babies biologically together, and that was indeed a big responsibility.

After a few minutes Dash returned with two bottles in her hoofs, after which she laid the twins on the couch and gave them the bottle.

"Wow they really were hungry" I said watching my daughters eat.

After a while the twins stopped sucking on their bottles, then Dash took them in their hooves and patted them lightly several times, which in turn gave them a slight burp.

"Ready, girls?" Dash asked looking at the twins, after a few minutes they began to cry.

"What happened?"

"I do not know, shhhhh calm girls, mommy and daddy are here shhhh" Dash said as she tried to calm the twins

"Maybe they have to change their diapers?" I suggested

"I'll take a look" Dash isse as she leaned over and took a look at the nipples of the twins.

"They really need a diaper change" she said.

"Okay, I'll change them" I said as I took the twins in my hooves and carried them into the bedroom to change them.

After a while I came back with the twins in my hooves.

"Ready, much better now" I said.

Dash nodded as she took Ragtag in her hoofs and began to swing her. I decided to follow the same example, so I got Shooting Star and started to swing it too.

Knock on the door

"Hello everypony! How are my new favorite parents?" Spitfire said as she walked into the house and approached me and Dash.

"Hi Spitty, how's it going?" I said

"Well, I just decided to stop by just to see the babies. Everybody at gym just talks about seeing them" she said.

"Maybe Soarin and I will not take them there to pay a visit?" Dash said

"That sounds great" Spitfire said.

7 months later ...

(Rainbow Dash POV)

The next months were great, but a little tiring. The twins really were difficult babies. But Soarin and I were always determined to go through any challenge, even if it was one of two hectic babies.

"Soarin, come here!" I called my husband from the bathroom.

"Yes Dashie?" He said as he entered the bathroom

"Here you get Ragtag while I bathe in Shooting Star" I said, handing Ragtag over to him.

He nodded and went to the twin room.

After a few minutes I finished bathing in Shooting Star, and took her into the room to change her.

"Come on, girls, it's time to eat" I said as Soarin and I tried putting the baby food in the twins' mouths.

"Nah!" They said they totally denied the food.

"Okay since you do not want the food, then Mommy and I are going to have to eat the whole chocolate cake after lunch" Soarin said.

With that the twins quickly spread their hooves so that Soarin and I would give them the food.

"Great!"

The twins were now officially 1 year old, and Soarin and I were doing everything they could to teach them to talk.

"Come on girls, say Mommy" I said.

"Majjjkkk" they tried to say

"Okay, so tell Daddy" Soarin said.

"Paoollll" they tried to say again

"Oh heavens" I said.

"Well honey, we'd better get the twins to sleep, it's getting kind of late" Soarin said and I nodded.

Later that night ...

"Waaaaaaaaa!" A cry of two babies could be heard from the room where Soarin and I were sleeping.

I slowly opened my eyes and let out a huge yawn.

"Soarin we go, the twins need our attention" I said poking him.

He slowly opened his eyes and also let out a yawn.

"Okay...." he said.

We flew into the twins' bedroom, and they were trying to get out of the crib while they were crying.

"Papa ... mama ..." they said.

My eyes and those of Soarin widened. We were called mommy and daddy, and the twins said their first words.

When they saw us they quickly began to reach out to me and Soarin, begging for attention.

"Oh dears" I said, smiling as I took Ragtag in my hooves. Soarin followed my example and got Shooting Star.

"The way they finally said their first words" Soarin said

Soarin and I were trying to teach the twins to crawl. It was being a bit difficult, because they'd rather just be charged.

"Come on Star, come to Mommy" I said trying to lead Shooting Star to me, while Soarin was trying to lead Ragtag to him.

"Let's Ragtag, come to daddy" Soarin said.

The twins tried to step forward but could not.

"Come on girls, do not give up" I said.

They tried again and finally managed to crawl to Soarin and me.

"I knew you could do it! It was awesome!" I said taking the twins in my arms and hugged them tightly.

4 years later...

(Rainbow Dash POV)

Life has been great over the years. And the twins were now five years old. They were getting upbeat for their first day of school, my little angels were growing too fast, it seems like it was yesterday that they were born.

Now I was sleeping peacefully in the room with Soarin, when suddenly two frogs flew up to our bed and began to jump over us.

"Mommy, Daddy, wake up, this is our first day of school!" they said at the same time

Soarin and I slowly opened our eyes and let out a huge yawn.

"It looks like someone's excited for the first day of class" Soarin said.

"Yes, Daddy we're much more than excited!" Shooting Star said

"Yes!" Said Ragtag

"You definitely have not inherited your mother's learning environment" Soarin said.

"What did you say, Mr. Soarin Skies? I think it's good that you take what you said in 3 seconds" I said in a low, dangerous voice.

"Relax, I was just kidding" he said as he leaned over and kissed the back of my head.

"Anyway ... Who's ready to go to school?" I said

They did not waste any more time.

"Hurry up Mommy! Come on!" Ragtag said as she and Shooting Star pulled me by the tail to the door.

"Whoa, calm down girls! When I was your age, I did not have all this excitement to go to school ..." I said

"Wow, Mommy I do not think you knew what I was missing," Shooting Star said.

I nodded and led the twins to the breakfast table where Soarin was already seated having his breakfast.

"Mommy! I thought we were going to school!" Shocked Star grumbled

"Let's go, but first you need to have breakfast of yours. Believe me, empty-belly study is not cool" said Soarin.

"Ok daddy" Ragtag said.

After a few minutes we finally finished breakfast, and started flying toward the door.

"Bye mommy, Bye daddy!" Ragtag and Shooting Star said at the same time as they ran to the front door of the school.

"Hey girls wait, and hug to your parents?" Said Cheerilee

The twins nodded and ran to Soarin and me, and they gave us a big hug.

"We love you girls, have fun" I said.

After that they ran back to the front door, and entered the room with the other students.

"Wow, I've never seen two little fillies so excited to go to school" Said Cheerilee

"Neither do I" I said.

"Do not worry, they'll be fine" Cheerilee said.

"Thank you, I'm more relieved like this" I said.

"Hello girls!" I said while Soarin was standing in front of the school waiting for the twins.

"Mommy, Daddy!" They said as they flew to us.

"How was the first day of school?" Soarin asked

"It was incredible! We already made several friends, and Miss Cheerilee is incredible!" Shooting Star said

"I'm glad to hear that" I said.

Today was the sixth birthday of the twins, it was hard for Dash to see that our little angels grew too fast.

Dash was at Sugarcubbe Conner with her friends setting up a surprise party for our daughters while I was distracting them, taking them to Wonderbolt headquarters.

"Wow, when I grow up, I want to be just like you, Mommy and the other Wonderbolts, Daddy" said Ragtag, admiring the Wonderbolts at headquarters.

"Yes, it would be so cool!" Shooting Star said

"One day you'll be girls" I said.

Suddenly Spitfire landed in front of us and walked over to the twins.

"Hey Clipper! Looks like today you brought the little Dashs to the office, did not you?" She said

I smiled and nodded.

"Yes, today is their birthday" I said.

"Oh really? Congratulations girls!" She said

"Thank you Mrs. Spitfire!" Ragtag and Shooting Star said at the same time.

"Well you want to know thirst? Your father and I can take you" Spitfire said.

"Really? Yay! But of course!" Shooting Star said

"Okay, come on then" I said.

"It's all perfect girls, thank you" I said as I watched the Sugarcubbe Conner decorated the themed birthday party Ragtag and Shooting Star, my babies.

They were growing so fast, it was hard for Soarin and I to accept that.

"No problems Rainbow Dash, Ragtag and Shooting Star deserve" said Applejack

"Yeah, did Rainbow really know when they'll come here?" Asked Twilight

"They must be coming with Soarin already" I said.

"Oh! I can not wait to start this party !!!" Said Pinkie Pie

"Quiet Darling!" Rarity said looking at Pinkie Pie with an unpleasant look.

"Six years, they grew up fast did not they?" Said Fluttershy

"Yes ... It's kind of hard for me and Soarin to accept that ..." I said just remembering the day the twins were born, and other memories of when they were very small.

After a few minutes Soarin came in with the twins and we all shouted "SURPRISE!"

"Ohhhhh a party for us? Oh thanks Everypony !!! Did you see Ragtag?" Shooting Star said

"Yes" Ragtag said.

"Congrats, my little angels!" I said leaning over to hug the twins.

"Thank you mommy!" They said

"Congratulations girls" said Twilight

"Oh I remember the day you were born, and now you're turning six" Rarity said, taking some tears from her eyes.

"Come on, it's party time!" Said Pinkie Pie starting to liven up the party with her party cannon

"Yay!"

Today was my parents's wedding anniversary day, and Shooting Star and I were preparing a big surprise for our parents.

"Let's Shooting Star, we need to clean up the house for Daddy and mommy's wedding anniversary," I said.

"Yes, and then we could decorate the whole house of love to complete, oh and we could also prepare a dinner for them! How romantic!" Shooting Star said

"Yes let's go!" I said as the two of us began to prepare everything for the time our parents came home.

Finally it was time for our parents to come home, Ragtag and I were waiting excitedly at the door.

Finally the doorknob moved and our country entered the house.

"Hello girls! What do you-" my mother Rainbow Dash started

"Happy birthday to Mommy and Daddy!" Ragtag and I said at the same time.

"Oh thank you girls, and whoa! This house is flawless and so ... loving" my father Soarin said

"We made it especially for your birthday! We also had a wonderful dinner for you! Aunt Pinkie Pie helped us a bit with this but we did it!" I said

"Yeah, now Shooting Star and I are going upstairs while you guys enjoy your birthday! Come on Star" Ragtag said as we both flew to our room, leaving our parents alone.

"The girls did a good job here, did not they?" I said looking at my husband Soarin

"Yes, well, Miss, what do you think we took advantage of tonight?" "The girls worked so hard at it," Soarin said smiling.

Yes, I did.

After that we both leaned down for a long, passionate kiss. After a few minutes we finally let go for lack of air.

"You know, I sound like I could not have asked for a better family than this" I said, leaning into his chest and resting my head.

"Yes, I love you Dashie, I love you and our daughters, more than anything else in the world" he said.

"I also soar... oh and I have the thing to tell you" I said

"And what's sweetie?" He asked

"Now it's good to buy twice as much food because now I'm going to eat for two ..." I said
