Kion's POV

Kion was killing a few poachers and he was protecting a brown and tan lioness wearing a white shirt with an animal conservationist symbol on the back, blue shorts and black sandals from the attacking poachers, Kion was armed with only a katana he earned back in the sword mastery academy in Japan which the sword was soaked in blood, then they saw the reptile house and ran to it.

"Kion, the animals are still in danger, I can't afford to abandon them!" the lioness said.

"We won't, Rani, don't worry, I'm not letting these bastards take your animals away from you and your family." Kion said as he opened the door until the lioness now known as Rani was shot in the back and leg by one of the poachers and Kion got her inside of the house.

"Fuck!! I'm hit!" Rani shouted in pain.

"I got you!" Kion said as he sat her down next to the lizard habitats, ripped a part of his shirt off, and used it as a tourniquet to stop the bleeding.

Then, the last three poachers kicked down the door then in a fit of rage, Kion rushed in and sliced a poacher in two, the second poacher tried to aim his gun but Kion sliced the poacher's arm off and decapitate him, the last poacher charged in with a knife but Kion sliced the poacher's limbs off and threw him out, leaving the poacher to bleed out, Kion flick the blood off of his blade and returned the katana to it's scabbard, then he saw blood coming out of Rani's leg and pick her up bridal style to get her to the medical wing.

"Kion...?" Rani said.

"I'm gonna get you fix up, hang in there." Kion said.

Just as he got her to the medical wing in a few agonizing minutes, he laid Rani to the medical table and grabbed the medical supplies such as an IV unit and bandage wraps to wrap her leg around but unfortunately, Rani lost a lot of blood, however, Kion didn't give up as he wrapped the bandage wrap around her leg.

"Kion, its too late, I've a lot of blood, I'm not gonna make it." Rani said weakly.

"Don't talk like that, you'll make it!" Kion said as he tightened the bandage wrap.

"Kion, what matters is that the animals are safe, you save them, I'm just a defender who gave up her life to protect the animals." Rani said weakly.

"No, Rani, you're more than that, I don't want to lose you." Kion said, his voice broke as he started to cry.

"Kion, I wanted to reunite with my parents and my grandmother and tell them that I saved and protect the animals in the Tree of Life sanctuary, I did what I could to give these animals a second chance and I succeeded." Rani said weakly.

"Rani?" Kion said as he was crying.

"I can't hold on to life anymore, I have no choice but to accept my fate." Rani said weakly.

"Rani, no." Kion said desperately.

"Kion, its okay, you'll find someone else who'll love you." Rani said weakly.

"No, it won't." Kion said, crying "Not without you."

"It will, and no matter what I'll still love you." Rani said as she kissed Kion on the lips, then her breathing slowed to a stop, Kion panicked as he started performing CPR on Rani.

"No, Rani, don't go!" Kion said as he was pushing down on her chest and gave her two rescue breaths "Please, Rani, don't leave me, don't go!" he said as he kept on doing the chest compressions and gave out another two rescue breaths "Rani, please, come back!!" he said as he put more force on his chest compressions.

Unfortunately, Rani was beyond saving as she was already dead, Kion took her body and started hugging her, he sat down on the floor with his back on the wall, twisted with sorrow and grief, Kion started sobbing, he never sobbed in grief and sorrow before until now as he lost Rani, he felt like that his soul was ripped in two, he held Rani's head with his right paw and kept on sobbing.

"Rani, please, come back, don't leave me." Kion sobbed "Rani."

Kion then heard something and Rani's body started fading away, seeing her body fade away, Kion's tears kept on flowing and the entire area started fading away and turned into an environment which looked like he was in outer space, then he saw Luna who was wearing a nightgown and saw every part of the memory as if it was a nightmare, Luna approached the sobbing adolescent lion cub and hugged him.

"How could somepony's nightmare be so violent and cruel?" Luna asked.

"Its not a nightmare, Luna, its a memory." Kion answered.

"By Equestria." Luna replied.

"How are you able to get inside of my dreams?" Kion asked.

"My job as the princess of the night is to protect the children from nightmares and its one of my magical abilities." Luna answered.

"I'm hardly a child." Kion replied as he got up "So you can access to anyone's dreams whenever they need psychological help?"

"Kion, why didn't tell us that you lost your friend, why didn't you tell us you were in emotional pain?" Luna asked.

"Rani was more than just a friend, she and I love each other." Kion answered "And how are you gonna help me relieving the pain that I have?" he asked to which Luna showed him her memory.

"I've been in the battlefield before, Kion, I know what its like to lose a friend, my friends wanted to join me to retake the Crystal empire, however, my sister said that the elements of harmony are the only way to defeat King Sombra but I find an alternative to get rid of him, permanently, but once my friends and I got to the Crystal empire, we fought as hard as we could to purified the Crystal heart but Sombra killed them, however, I did purified the heart to make our plan work but Celestia came in and forced me to use the elements of harmony to banish Sombra to which caused the Crystal empire to disappear, all of my friends died for nothing and Celestia blamed me for their deaths, about a month later, I let my anger get the best of me and I became this form of myself that you spar yesterday, I called myself Nightmare Moon, I tried to get myself some justice for what my sister had done but she had overpowered me due to the fact that she had both the Amaterasu which she used to scar me with." Luna answered as she showed Kion her scars "And the elements of harmony which she used to banish me to the moon for a thousand years."

"How did you get off the moon?" Kion asked.

"I broke the spell that had hold me and I return to Celestia's new location which you see now as Canterlot and banish her but Twilight and her friends turned me back into my younger self, it took me about a few months to get my powers and memories back, once Discord was reformed, he told me about an adolescent lion cub who would be perfect to wield the Amaterasu as my sister was becoming so manipulative that I believe that she lost the right to use the Amaterasu." Luna answered.

"Let me guess, that lion cub is me." Kion said.

"Exactly." Luna replied "Kion, I know what you're feeling because I been through the tough times that you did, I also lost some closest friends and I had a family member that doesn't support me, I understand perfectly, so please, let me, Twilight, and her friends help you."

Kion thought about this, Luna, Twilight and the others were trying to help him as he was a tragic cub trying to heal from the emotional pain, then he realized that he was waking up.

"I accept." Kion said as he hugged Luna and they fade away from the dream realm.

Real world

Kion woke up and found out that it was just him and Jasiri as there was no sign of Twilight, then he saw a note on the nightstand and took it, it read "Kion, if you and Jasiri are awake, I went to the castle's library to fill out some paperwork, Jasiri knows a way towards Fluttershy's cottage, I know that you've been suffering the lost of a friend since you told me the story of how she died, I'm so sorry that you have to suffer like this but I'm sure my friends and I can help you. Love: Twily P.S.: thank you for telling me your story." then Kion noticed that Jasiri was waking up and she saw that only he was with her, Kion got out of bed and put on his underwear, he opened his bag and found his navy blue gi and his phone with earbuds wrapped around it, he put on his gi and sandals and grabbed both his phone and the Amaterasu.

"Where's Twilight?" Jasiri asked as she got out of bed and put her clothes on.

"She went to do some paperwork." Kion answered "You all dressed up?" he asked.

"Yeah, let me show you the way." Jasiri answered.

"You already read the note, did you?" Kion said to which Jasiri nodded "Well then, lead the way." he said as he and Jasiri got out of the room.

Fluttershy's cottage, two minutes later

Kion and Jasiri had arrived to the cottage and found out that the whole area was filled with animals, Kion already let Kiara and his grandmother knew that he was going to spend some time with Fluttershy as she always has a reputation of being the most quiet of the group, so during this time, he'll meditate to relax himself, then both Kion and Jasiri saw Fluttershy wearing a green summer dress and sandals that Rarity made for her and she was struggling with a thirty pound bag of food, Kion decided to help as he walked towards the bag and picked it up with no effort.

"Kion, you came." Fluttershy said as she kissed Kion on the cheek.

"Hey, Fluttershy, where's this bag gonna go?" Kion asked.

"Its for the birds." Fluttershy answered as she led Kion to the bird habitats "I never thought that a bounty hunter would help out animals."

"Trust me, Fluttershy, I've known a pride of lions who work in a place filled with animals, but I don't hunt animals, I hunt things that are more dangerous." Kion replied.

"What is it that you hunt?" Fluttershy asked.

"Criminals, killers, snobs, terrorists, tyrants, poachers, you name it, I don't care if the pay is low or high, I'll still do the job for personal reasons." Kion answered.

"Oh, sounds dangerous." Fluttershy said.

"Bounty hunting isn't for the faint of heart, trust me." Kion replied, then they went to the bird habitats, Kion saw that they're a lot of birds in the area, so he set the bird food down and Fluttershy opened the bag to get the food, Fluttershy gathered the food bowls and scooped each and every bowl with food.

"So how did you got the talent of taking care of animals?" Kion asked as Fluttershy put all of the food bowls back.

"I used to live in Cloudsdale, a town that hovers above Ponyville that the Pegasi were born from until when I was watching Rainbow Dash racing other Pegasi, I fall off one of the clouds, then I encountered some animals and took care of them, that's how I got my cutie mark, see." Fluttershy answered as she pulled up her right side of her dress, Kion blushed at what Fluttershy did and saw her cutie mark.

"Okay, I did get everything including the mark." Kion said.

"I'm wondering what kind of cutie mark do you have." Fluttershy said.

"Lions don't get cutie marks." Kion replied.

"Oh, ohh, right." Fluttershy said.

"So what's next?" Kion asked.

"I have to grab some food for the puppies." Fluttershy answered,

When Kion heard the word puppies, his heart raced, then he and Fluttershy went out of the bird habitats and went into the cottage to get the puppy food, they found out that Jasiri was carrying a bag full of puppy food, Kion helped her out with the bag by carrying it on his shoulders and he, Jasiri, and Fluttershy started walking to the puppy pen.

"Asante, Kion, and knowing you, you're gonna get into that puppy pen." Jasiri said.

"Yeah, I love puppies more than Lobo loves dolphins." Kion replied.

"Aww." Fluttershy squeed "Kion, if you don't have a cutie mark, how do you know about your special talent?"

"Because we don't have magic in my world and we do have multiple talents, so much for one mark to show your talents, I even can mimic cartoon character voices, watch." Kion answered, then he pinched his nose "I've managed to make five krabby patties and I also arranged some flash cards into a piano." he said with the voice of Spongebob which caused Jasiri to start laughing at the voice.

"You have a point." Fluttershy said.

Then they made it to the puppy pen where Kion set the bag down next to the gate and cut it open, then he got into the puppy pen and got nearly piled on by a bunch of puppies, Fluttershy got inside and grabbed the food bowls, then she scooped the food with the bowls one at a time while Kion was playing with the puppies.

"I wanna adopt one, just one!" Kion said.

"Go ahead, pick one." Fluttershy said, then Kion saw a female German shepherd puppy and picked the puppy up.

"I'll adopt this one." Kion said as the puppy licked his face, Fluttershy finished scooping up the puppy food and place the food bowls back.

"What are you gonna name her?" Fluttershy asked.

"Janna." Kion answered as she gave the puppy now known as Janna to Jasiri "It was the name of Rani's grandmother."

"Who's Rani?" Fluttershy asked.

This hit Kion in the heart as every time he talked about Rani, he gets very emotional about it, but he remembered what Luna said "Please, let me, Twilight, and her friends help you." the voice of Luna was still echoing in his mind, so he gave in and told Fluttershy who Rani was.

"Rani was my lover, she was an animal conservationist who loved animals like you do, she and I had a lot in common and we'd loved each other to the point that we had sex with each other, she wanted to marry me and I gladly accepted but one day, a group of poachers raided the sanctuary that Rani worked at and wanted the animals so they can sell them to the black market but I killed everyone of them, saving the animals but I couldn't save Rani." Kion answered.

"What happened to her?" Fluttershy asked.

"She died in my arms due to a few gunshot wounds, I tried to stop the bleeding but she...(sobs)" Kion answered.

Fluttershy hugged him as he started to cry, Fluttershy had never delt with someone losing a friend from a murder but she knew that Kion needed help, she kissed him on the cheek and nuzzled him.

"Kion, if there's anything we can do to help you what will it be." Fluttershy asked.

"Not putting yourselves in harm's way." Kion answered "After what happened with the fight against Zira, I nearly lost all of you."

"I promise, and I'll tell the girls as well." Fluttershy replied.

"Is there anything else, Fluttershy?" Jasiri asked.

"Well I already gave the other animals their food so I think we got everything set up." Fluttershy answered, then Cadence teleported in front of Kion with urgent news.

"You three have to come back to the castle, its about the Crystal Empire." Cadence said, then she teleported Kion, Jasiri, and Fluttershy to the Castle of friendship.

Castle of friendship

Twilight gathered everyone to the cutie map room to discuss about the situation in the Crystal empire, Cadence teleported Kion, Jasiri, and Fluttershy to the cutie map room with Kion and Jasiri feeling dizzy from the teleporting. Sarabi and Kiara went towards them and helped them up their feet.

"You okay?" Kiara asked.

"I'm fine." Kion answered.

"Same here." Jasiri answered also.

"I'm glad you three decided to come." Twilight said.

"Well we didn't had a choice." Jasiri answered.

"So what's happening at the Crystal Empire?" Kion asked.

"Its bad, Chrysalis has found one of the bio syns and managed to create a swarm of changelings to take over the Crystal Empire." Twilight answered.

"Who would've thought that she got the syn in the first place." Pinkie Pie said.

"Its not gonna be easy to get to tha Crystal Empire on tha train since the tracks are frozen." Applejack said.

"Good thing I got ourselves some winter clothes but the bad news is that I don't have any winter clothes for the lions and hyenas except for the big jackets." Rarity said.

"I'll be fine without the jacket but the ladies on the other hand." Kovu replied as he noticed that Kiara was wearing her bra and miniskirt and Sarabi was wearing her raspberry dress.

"Twilight, dear, are you sure that you want to go to the Crystal Empire when there's an invasion?" Velvet asked.

"We have to, Mom, the Crystal Empire needs our help." Twilight answered.

"Who's giving out these orders?" Sarabi asked suspiciously.

"Princess Celestia of course, we're the chosen heroes!" Rainbow Dash answered.

"Twilight, your phone." Kion said as Twilight gave him her phone.

"Are you planning on calling Princess Celestia to argue with her about the mission?" Starlight asked.

"Yeah." Kion answered "Why?"

"I mean you can't just argue with a princess, you do what she wants!" Starlight argued.

"Where have I heard that before?" Kovu said.

"Yeah, the princess wants us to save the Crystal Empire and we have to please her." Pinkie Pie said.

"No, no, no, fuck that, I'm not letting you get yourselves killed all because Celestia says so!" Kion said as he noticed that Twilight had Celestia on speed dial "Of course."

"Ah agree with Kion, Celestia did put us in life threatening situations and we didn't get anything in return." Applejack said as Kion pressed Celestia's name on Twilight's phone and it started dialing.

"But this time, things are gonna change." Kion replied, then the sound of Celestia's voice was heard from the phone.

"Twilight, why did you called me in the middle of court?" Celestia asked.

"That's because she and I are not working for you unless we make a deal." Kion answered.

"Kion?" Celestia said in shock "What are you doing and what do you mean about making a deal?"

"I'm talking about rewards for putting the girls in danger numerous times." Kion answered.

"(sigh) What is it that you want exactly?" Celestia asked, then Kion put the phone on speaker.

"Go ahead everyone, tell her what you want." Kion said as he held the phone forward.

"I want a beach house in western Equestria so I can relax and focus on my fashion work when I get called to work from there." Rarity requested.

"What?!" Celestia said in shock through the phone.

"Ah also need the access of more food for mah family." Applejack requested.

"And I need the preschool adaptation of my friendship school so I can teach Flurry to use her magic properly." Twilight requested "What about you, Kion, what would you like to have."

"Alright then, I want a hundred thousand for Chrysalis' head, another hundred for Tirek's head, and the amount of danger that my friends and family are getting into, that's an extra hundred grand and an editional grand for getting raped by Zira." Kion requested.

"Wow." Spike said.

"So you all are asking for a beach house, more choices of food for the Apple family, a preschool adaptation, and 301,000 bits for the mission?" Celestia asked through the phone.

"Yes." Kion answered.

"No, no deal, that's too much to cover but you're still going to the Crystal empire to fight those three villains!" Celestia said through the phone.

"Hold it right there, Celestia, we're not putting our lives in danger and not getting anything in return and I don't care if yer a princess, yer not telling me and mah friends to risk our lives for y'all, not anymore." Applejack replied.

"But, Applejack--" Starlight tried to say but was interrupted.

"No, A.J.'s right, we're not gonna risk our lives for a stingy princess who's too much of a coward to accept a deal." Janja replied.

"When you say it like that, you do have a point." Spike said.

"So you, the pony I looked up to more than anypony is using me and my friends as attack dogs?!" Twilight interrogated.

"That doesn't sound like the Princess Celestia I know." Fluttershy said.

"Twilight, I specifically told you that I want all of you to save the Crystal empire as you are the embodiment of the elements." Celestia said through the phone.

"That's not an excuse, you promise our reward or else you'll lose our respect as a princess and we'll never do anything for you ever again." Twilight replied.

"(sigh) Fine, I accept the deal." Celestia said through the phone, Twilight then took the phone.

"Good, we keep our end of the bargain and you keep yours." Twilight said, then she hangs up and hugged Kion "Thank you, Kion, I never thought that we were risking our lives saving Equestria without getting anything in return."

"How long have you saved Equestria without getting anything in return?" Janja asked.

"A few years, Janjy." Pinkie Pie answered.

"Again, sounds like a chick's name." Janja replied.

"Do you really think that Princess Celestia will hold her end of the deal?" Starlight asked.

"Personally, I don't trust her." Kion answered.

"Same here, we need to find a way to expose her if she goes back on her deal." Sarabi said.

"I can take care of that." Spike replied.

"I'm with you, I'm good at breaking in places." Kovu said.

"Then its settled, the rest of us will travel to the Crystal Empire while Spike and Kovu infiltrate Canterlot, let's head for the Crystal Empire." Twilight said.

"And how are we gonna get there?" Kiara asked.

"Like this." Twilight answered as she teleported herself and the entire group to the Crystal Empire and Spike and Kovu to Canterlot.

Outside of the Crystal Empire

Twilight had teleported herself and the group outside of the Crystal Empire and teleported Spike, Velvet, and Kovu to Canterlot, she also brought Shining Armor with them as well, however those without experience with teleporting had felt dizzy from the teleportation spell.

"Aah, God, I don't think I'm ever gonna get used to that." Kion said.

"Second it." Kiara replied.

"Rarity, do you have our winter coats?" Twilight asked.

"Right here, darling." Rarity answered as she gave everyone winter coats and scarfs, however Kion only took the scarf and wrapped it around his muzzle and neck.

"So what's the first step?" Kiara asked, then Twilight pulled out her portable map and showed them a holographic projection of the Crystal Empire.

"Discord said that Zira's about five yards away from the city, she wants to meet Kion at this location right here." Twilight answered as she pointed to the area five yards away from the the gate on her map.

"Then that's where we're going." Kion replied.

"Kion, are you sure about this?" Kiara asked "I mean Zira's very unpredictable and dangerous."

"I know what I'm getting myself into, Kiara, I'll be fine." Kion answered "Let's go."

"Ah just hope that we don't get any surprises." Applejack said as the whole group started walking towards the Crystal Empire.

"Jesus, how big is this place?" Jasiri asked.

"Its about fourteen hundred square miles." Starlight answered "It was considered a lost empire for about a thousand years."

"That's because Sombra put a curse on the empire when Auntie Celestia and Auntie Luna banished him." Cadence replied as she covered Flurry Heart in her coat to keep her warm.

"The empire disappearing was all Celestia's fault." Kion said with venom in his tone.

"How could you possibly know that?" Twilight asked.

"Luna told me in my dreams, she wanted to kill Sombra by purifying the Crystal Heart but Celestia interfered and forced her to use the elements of harmony instead which caused the entire empire to disappear, Luna lost all of her closest friends at that time but it was all for nothing when Celestia interfered." Kion answered.

"Why would she do that?" Cadence asked.

"Because Celestia's a coward, she's too afraid to kill someone who's too much of a threat to live and she's too fond of traditions to adapt to something new and is stubborn to break said traditions, just like Simba." Kion answered.

"She has reasons to not kill, because if she did kill Sombra, then she's no better than him!" Starlight argued.

"And she did all she could to defend Equestria." Shining Armor argued.

"That's another problem, you treat her as if she was a goddess, news flash, she's no goddess, she's just a manipulative pony who's no better than Zira, in fact she couldn't last a fight against Zira in the first place." Kion said.

"Kion, focus, we can't lose sight on the mission." Sarabi said as she placed her right paw on Kion's shoulder.

"You're right, Grandma, I do need to focus." Kion replied.

"There is a possibly that the Crystal Heart is captured by Chrysalis and she's keeping it with her but I'm not sure." Cadence said.

"We won't be sure until we find out." Kion replied as the group continued walking towards their location.

Unknown to them, a tall, muscular, male lion was following far behind, he was six foot eleven, had golden fur with a red mane, wearing a gray button up shirt with a dark grey duster coat on top, dark grey pants, and black shoes and was carrying two weapons with him, a giant seven foot long magical war axe in his right paw and a giant magical four inch thick, six foot long claymore sword on his back, then he walked towards the side, flanking the group from far behind, Sarabi started looking around and then spotted the figure following them, when she shook her head, the figure disappeared in the snow, she thought that she was imagining and continued walking with the rest of the group, then they found Zira with a syn axe on one of the changelings' heads.

"So you accepted the deal, I'm impressed." Zira said.

"Don't get the wrong idea, we're doing this for Equestria, not for your amusement." Twilight replied.

"Of course." Zira said "And I see that you brought Kiara and Sarabi with you."

"How are you still alive?" Kiara asked "I thought that falling into the river would killed you."

"You didn't think that a river can kill me that easily, did you?" Zira responded.

"Where's Chrysalis?" Starlight interrogated.

"She and her friends are in the colosseum, claiming the throne of the ruler as well as enslaving the civilians and forcing the guards to fight each other." Zira answered.

"What's you plan that you need Kion for?" Twilight asked.

"Flanking the strongest bugs in the hive, Kion and I are capable of taking out the strongest of the army while you take out the weakest of the army." Zira answered.

"Take out as in killing?" Pinkie asked.

"Did I stutter?" Zira responded.

"Oh, no, we're not killing anypony, especially if I get all filthy!" Rarity whined.

"Pathetic." Zira said as she turned her back "I should've known you ponies won't kill if your lives depends on it."

"We're still going with the plan, even if it means killing any hostiles." Kion said.

"Kion, I'm not getting my hands dirty--" Rarity tried to say but was interrupted.

"I don't want any pathetic excuses, I need to make sure that all of you are gonna survive this fight while I'm gone!" Kion said strictly.

"Kion?" Twilight said in worry.

"I've already lost someone I love because of things that were nearly preventable, I'm not making that mistake again." Kion said "Grandma, please make sure that they kill every hostile that they encounter."

"Only if you promise to be careful." Sarabi said as she hugged Kion.

"I will." Kion replied as he hugged her back.

"Touching, but we got work to do." Zira said as she started walking towards the gate and opens it.

Then, the syn changelings who were guarding the gate got surprised and attack but Zira cut them down with her bladed tendrils, then a few more syn changelings came out of nowhere to attack but Zira impaled them with her spiked tendrils and shredded them with her bladed tendrils.

"Don't get so cocky, there might be thousands of those bugs so kill them as fast as you can." Zira said as she gave them a radio walkie talkie, then she and Kion ran to the left while the rest of the group ran straight to where the colosseum is.

Canterlot, four minutes later

Spike, Velvet, and Kovu had got inside the city of Canterlot so they can get to the castle, Kovu was still feeling the dizziness from the teleportation spell but he did learned that the castle was guarded and can only be accessed by a magic key medal that is warned by the breastplate of their armor and he showed them the way to the castle.

"So how are we gonna get to the castle?" Spike asked "Shining Armor pulled off some tight security."

"That's easy, my sister, Vitani and I used to break into places that had tight security, all I need to do is find and knock out a guard and grab his key medal so we can get inside." Kovu answered.

"You sure about this?" Velvet asked.

"I'm not bullshitting about this, just watch and learn." Kovu said as walked towards the entrance.

Kovu saw one to five Pegasus guards patrolling the castle, two being mares and three being stallions, just as Kovu got close to the door, a guard mare spotted him and land in front of him and pointed her spear at him.

"Hands up where I can see them!" the guard mare said.

"Sorry, but following a lady's lead isn't my style." Kovu replied.

"Hands up right now!" the guard mare said as she pointed the tip of her spear at Kovu's hair tuft.

This made Kovu snapped as he grabbed the spear, shift it to his left and pulled it at the same time, and smacked the guard mare out cold, Spike and Velvet cringed at the sight, Spike knew how Kion was strong due to how he was able to move two filled apple carts all on his own and Velvet was told by Kion how much he can bench press, then the four remaining guards rushed in with spears drawn but Kovu dodged and grabbed the spear from the unconscious guard mare, using the spear as a bo staff, Kovu spins the spear around and whacked a guard by the face, knocking the guard back, Kovu then whacked another guard in the nuts, causing the guard to cover his nuts in agony, the guards tried to thrust their spears at Kovu three times but Kovu dodged the attacks and smacked them with the spear so hard that the spear broke, knocking another guard mare out cold, another guard thrust his spear at Kovu three times but Kovu disarmed the guard and delivered a reverse roundhouse at the guard's face, knocking the guard out cold, another guard swings with his sword at Kovu four times but Kovu dodged and counterattack by punching the guard numerous times until the guard was out cold, then the last guard tried to charge swing at Kovu but he dodged by doing the splits and punched the guard in the nuts three times, causing the guard to collapsed and covered his nuts in agony, Kovu then took off a medal from one of the guards' armor and walked to the doors, then he placed the medal on the doors which caused the doors to open, Kovu, Spike, and Velvet got inside the castle, once inside the castle, Spike led them to the archives.

"You sure know where you're going?" Kovu asked.

"I been here in the archives before when Twilight and I used to live here." Spike answered.

"Ahh, memories." Velvet said, then they encountered Luna who was looking for something.

"Luna?" Spike said to which Luna turned around and saw Spike, Kovu, and Velvet.

"Spike, how did you get here?" Luna asked.

"You don't wanna know." Kovu answered for Spike.

"What are you doing in the archives?" Spike asked.

"Celestia disappeared, I think it might be the work of Cozy Glow using the sorceress's amulet and she's somewhere in the Crystal Empire." Luna answered.

"Twilight and the others are there." Velvet replied.

"I have to call Twilight, the mission now has change drastically." Luna said as she grabbed her phone only to find out that her battery had died "Damn it, I got to recharge it."

Crystal Empire, Kion's POV

Kion and Zira had found that the strongest changeling army was guarding the castle and the Crystal Heart, they saw that Chrysalis was giving them strict orders to guard the castle and the Crystal Heart and not let anyone get close to it, then Chrysalis flew away to the colosseum, once Chrysalis was out of sight, Kion and Zira ran to the Crystal Heart but the changelings got in their way and attack, Zira summoned her double bladed syn staff and swings it at three changelings but despite the damage that Zira left, the changelings recovered and attack by stabbing their spears and sickles at her, Zira smiled evily as she knew that this was going to be fun for her, then she impaled the changelings with her bladed tendrils and sliced them apart, she pulled the spears and sickles out of her body, five changelings charged in while one of them turned into a bear, Kion quick draw his katana and slashed at two changelings, he then decapitate one of them and swinged the Amaterasu at the bear changeling two times, knocking it back, then seven changelings charged in for the attack but Kion jumped in front of the castle and sliced and diced seven changelings one at a time by swinging the Amaterasu, causing the green blood to get soaked on the blade, six changelings tried to attack Zira by changing into the forms of the main 6 and using their spears but Zira counterattack by spinning her syn staff and swinging it at the changelings, severely damaging them, then Zira finished them off by rapidly attacking them with her bladed tendrils, three changelings fired magic bolts at Zira but she dodged and used her syn staff to chopped one of the changelings' heads in two and swings her syn staff at two changlings, slitting their throats in the process, Kion sliced the bear changeling in two and jumped towards one of the changelings and sliced it in two, Zira then sliced two more changelings with her syn staff as she and Kion regrouped.

"Only a minor setback, nothing two Outlands pride members can't handle." Zira said.

"I'm not a member of your pride." Kion replied with gritted teeth, not liking the idea of being in Zira's pride.

Then seven changelings attack by thrusting their spears at the two lions but they jumped out of the way and slice five changelings, Kion jumped and after doing a quadruple flip, he kicked one of the changelings in the face and in the process crushed the changeling's head under his hind paw, nine changelings hovering in the air charged in with spears and swords to which Zira changed her syn staff into a syn scythe and she and Kion jumped towards the nine changelings, then Kion and Zira sliced three changelings in a row three times in the air, just as they landed, five more changelings pop out and attack by changing into bears but Kion decapitate two changelings while Zira sliced three in two, then Kion and Zira ran to where the Crystal heart is with their weapons pointed back but once a changeling got in their way and turned into a manticore, Kion sliced it in two, Kion and Zira started using their acrobatic skills, then they threw their weapons at the hovering changelings like spears and after doing multiple back flips, they jumped and kicked a changeling down in the middle of six changelings, Zira delivered a head crushing stomp on the downed changeling, then Zira grabbed Kion's arms and swinged the lion cub at the changelings to which said lion cub kicked three changelings back, once eleven more changelings flew in to attack, Kion and Zira retrieve their weapons and sliced down three changelings, after that they sliced down four, then they decapitate five more, and Kion rushed in and did multiple swings faster than the eye could see to cut down the last five changelings, just as he returned the Amaterasu to it's scabbard, the five changelings' bodies fell into small flesh parts, Zira looked around and smiled at the carnage that she and Kion caused, Kion went to where the Crystal Heart is and reached for it, then his paw suddenly went through the heart, showing evidence that it was replaced by a hologram.

"Shit." Kion said as she grabbed his radio "Twilight, we're at the castle but it proves that Cadence is right, the Crystal Heart's missing and is replaced by a holographic decoy."

"Kion, we got a bigger problem, Celestia's fighting another lion!" Twilight said frantically through the radio.

"Another lion?" Kion said "I need a description."

"He's got a--" Twilight tried to say but then static was heard until someone grabbed hold of Twilight's radio.

"Its Mufasa, the lion that's fighting Celestia is Mufasa!" the voice of Sarabi cried, Kion was shocked at what his grandmother said, he thought that Mufasa died in an explosion. (A/N: Remember that this is an alternate universe that some things are altered in both franchises.)

"Hevi kabisa." Kion said in shock.

Twilight's POV, four minutes earlier

Twilight and the group were killing the weaker of the changelings to get to the colosseum while Kion and Zira take on the changelings that were guarding the castle and the Crystal Heart, the group despite getting surrounded was holding their own.

"Damn, they're like cockroaches!" Jasiri said as she kicked back a changeling and snapped the neck of another changeling.

"They are cockroaches, bigger ones to be exact." Janja replied as he used his fisticuffs to punch a changeling numerous times and snapped it's neck.

"Just keep fighting!" Kiara said as she shot an arrow at two changelings in a row.

Twilight and Pinkie attack seven changelings with Twilight used her telekinesis to crush them and Pinkie used her party cannon loaded with fireworks to blow up the changelings, Sarabi quick draw her katana and in the process, decapitated three changelings, then she sliced down five changelings with blinding speed, then Kiara rushed in and slit a changeling's throat with her retractable claws, she grabbed an arrow from a dead changeling's quiver and fired at another changeling disguised as a python, getting a hit at the changeling in midair, she grabbed two more arrows and fired at two changelings that were going after Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Applejack were impressed at how fast and skilled both Sarabi and Kiara were, then both Applejack and Rainbow Dash got attacked by seven changelings but Kiara noticed this and fired an arrow at one of the changelings' heads, giving the two ponies a chance to fight back as Applejack used her kicks to cause severe trauma on the changelings' heads and Rainbow Dash was using the combination of her flying skills and her skills as a karate black belt to punch, kick, grapple, and break the necks of the changelings, Sarabi rushed in and sliced down more changelings that tried to attack Cadence and Flurry Heart, both Twilight and Shining Armor were holding their ground as Twilight was firing magic bolts at the changelings' heads and Shining Armor was using the combination of his sword and magic shield to block and counterattack the changelings by slicing them apart.

"Last wave, everyone, let's make this count!" Kiara said as she grabbed more arrows and put them in her quiver.

"This better be the last wave, I mean those three idiots are postponing the inevitable." Janja replied as he got his fist ready, then they saw that the changelings turned themselves into bears and manticores.

"Oh, Jesus!" Jasiri said in fear as the changelings charged in.

"I'll thin out the line!" Kiara shouted as she fired two arrows at one of the changelings in the head, nearly stopping the changelings, Twilight and Starlight charged up their magic and fired magic bolts at the changelings while Kiara kept firing arrows at the changelings who were getting slaughtered by the incoming attacks

"Talk about a massacre." Jasiri said.

Then the changelings started flanking them as Sarabi got ready for the attack, the first disguised changeling tried to swiped at Sarabi but she sliced it's arm off and decapitate it, Shining Armor rushed in and impaled one of the changelings and ripped his sword out, then he sliced two more changelings in two, Twilight flew in and used a magic spell to cancel the changelings' disguise, Rainbow Dash flew in and kicked one of the changelings in the face.

"Pinkie, are you gonna help us out or... or...?" Janja tried to say but when he saw Pinkie now naked and covered in honey, he nearly got a boner.

"Don't worry, Janjy, I'm now nude and covered in honey, and for the changelings, its hammer time, bitches!" Pinkie shouted as she pulled a warhammer out of her tail and started swinging the hammer at five changelings, crushing them in the process.

"Nopony hurts my friends!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she started killing five changelings with one of the swords laying on the ground and kept cutting them down even if they were already dead.

"That's a bit overkill, Dashie, you're launching carapiece shards everywhere, some of us are naked here." Pinkie Pie said as Janja was still starring at her.

"This better be the last wave!" Jasiri said as she pinned down a changeling and broke it's neck with her legs "God, I don't know how Kion deals with shit like this."

"Everypony, head for the colosseum!" Twilight said as she cleared the way by vaporizing ten changelings with her magic.

The group ran to the entrance of the colosseum with Rainbow Dash flying in and taking down the two changelings that were guarding the entrance, then they got inside of the colosseum.

"Okay everypony, let's go find the Crystal Heart." Twilight said, then she saw Pinkie naked with Janja behind her grabbing her breasts "And put some clothes on, Pinkie."

"Okey dokey, Twilight, just as long as Janjy let's go of my boobies." Pinkie Pie said as she bumped her butt on Janja's hips to which he smiled.

Crystal Empire colosseum, ???? POV

The male lion that was following the group from a distance had found them heading into the colosseum, then another spirit of chaos similar to Discord was guiding him, however this spirit of chaos was a female and gave the lion knowledge of Equestria.

"This is not good, Mufasa, if Chrysalis is forcing ponies to fight to the death, then this could get messy." the female spirit of chaos said.

"I know quite well at what I'm getting myself into, Eris, its better to do something then not do anything at all." the lion now known as Mufasa replied in a deep voice.

"Yeah, just fight anypony that stands in your way, Saxton Hale, what's next, you got to deal with a white shark in your office?" the female spirit of chaos now known as Eris said sarcastically, once Mufasa and Eris got into one of the entrances, he encountered a few changelings and Cozy Glow who thought that he would be a good contestant.

"Well it looks like somepony's got himself into the colosseum and entertain everypony in combat." Cozy Glow said.

"Whatever game that you and your accomplices are playing, I'm not interested." Mufasa said "I'm looking for the element barriers."

"Aww come on, looking at you, it looks like you were looking for a worthy opponent to use those giant weapons on." Cozy Glow said as she flew towards the gate leading to the field "And besides, if you want the element barriers, then you got to play."

"Listen, big guy, she won't talk until we play her game, if we can last this challenge, then maybe she can give us all the answers that we need." Eris said, Mufasa thought about this, if he goes through the gate and fight for the crowd's amusement, then he could get his answers.

"Fine, I'll accept the challenge." Mufasa said.

Then Cozy Glow opened the gate, letting Eris and Mufasa through the gate, Cozy Glow teleported to the other side and prepped up the opponent that Mufasa was challenging.

"Wait, Muffy, I getting the feeling that we're in for a big surprise." Eris said as she stopped him "And I don't like the look on that filly, she's planning on something and telling false stories."

"Well whoever I'm fighting, they're not going to stop me." Mufasa replied "And we can't lose sight on the task at hand, I need to see the element barriers."

"Speaking about that, who are you fighting?" Eris asked.

Then she saw a pissed off Celestia coming out from the opposite gate wearing golden armor and carrying her halberd, Eris got scared for Mufasa's safety as she knows how powerful Celestia is.

"Muffy, I don't think this fight will be easy for you, there's a possibility that you can get yourself killed." Eris said "And I think that filly is manipulating the whole thing just like in one of those fucked up animal fights."

"Wouldn't be the first time." Mufasa replied as he switched paws to carry his axe and grabbed his claymore.

Then he walked towards the center of the field, he twirled his claymore and stabbed it and the axe in the ground, he then picked up a pawfull of grass and rubbed it between his paws, then he noticed that Celestia was approaching him with anger.

"So you claim the Lunarra as your own and threatened to take control of Equestria?" Celestia said as she gripped her halberd tighter.

"Whatever rumors that the little girl said about me is not true, I'm not planning on taking control." Mufasa replied as he pulled the claymore now known as the Lunarra out of the ground and put it on his back.

"Don't lie to me, that sword was my mother's and you don't have the right to use it and use it for your own personal gain!" Celestia shouted.

"I'm not really here to fight." Mufasa said as he grabbed his axe "I'm here to talk to the element barriers."

Then Celestia snapped as she charged in and started swinging her halberd at Mufasa thirty times but Mufasa used his axe to block every single strike, after the final strike, Celestia knocked the axe out of Mufasa's grip and pushed him back with a magic wave, Mufasa recovered and grabbed the Lunarra, then Celestia rushed in and locked blades with Mufasa.

"I'll never let you get near Twilight and her friends!" Celestia shouted.

"So much for being nice." Mufasa said.

Then she pushed back and fired a magic beam at Mufasa to which he dodged and counterattack by swinging the Lunarra at Celestia, hitting her breastplate as the sheer force of the strike pushed her back, Celestia used her magic to enhance her halberd and flew up to fire magic bolts at Mufasa to which he sliced one of the magic bolts but Celestia flew in and swings her halberd so hard that she knocked the Lunarra out of his grip, Mufasa jumped out of the way and grabbed his axe, then Celestia started swinging her halberd thirty times at blinding speed with Mufasa trying to keep up but he got lashes on his left arm and a stab wound on his right leg, Celestia kicked him back and she shot a magic bolt straight from her halberd and straight towards Mufasa's chest, knocking him towards the wall of the colosseum, Celestia threw her halberd towards the wall and flew in, ramming Mufasa back to the wall and she threw him on the ground, Mufasa tried to recover but Celestia was too quick and slammed on him, Celestia started beating him up but Mufasa pushed her off and got up, Celestia enhanced her arms with magic and punched Mufasa so hard that he skidded across the ground, Mufasa got up and ran towards his sword but Celestia flew in and tackle him, he tried to counterattack by swiping his claws at Celestia but she grabbed his muzzle and slammed his head to the wall, Celestia used her magic enhanced arms to punch Mufasa in the abdomen and face two times and repeat this process three times, then she tossed him up the air and fired a magic beam at him, causing him to skidded across the ground, Mufasa was now incapacitated by the sheer force of the magical attack as started coughing out blood, Eris teleported and came to Mufasa's aid as Celestia was too busy retrieving her halberd.

"Come on, Muffy, I didn't bring you back from the dead just so you can die all over again." Eris said as she tried to administer Mufasa, then Celestia turned around and saw Eris with Mufasa.

"Another draconequus, so you're the one who brought this lion here." Celestia said as fired a magic bolt at Eris to which Eris blocked the attack by turning the magic bolt into confetti.

"Yeah, I bought him here, I also resurrected him from the dead and told him how to earn his new toys." Eris said as she floated towards Celestia.

"Doesn't matter, he's not getting near my little ponies!" Celestia said as she enhanced her halberd and swinged at Eris but the female draconequus grabbed the halberd with her eagle hand and use her lion paw to push Celestia back.

"You know, I used to look up to you, I always thought that you tried to do the right thing and fight for freedom but instead you do things your way and force ponies to fight your own battles and after nine seasons, you're now just fighting somepony you don't know is just a traveler just because you think he's a threat to your rule." Eris said as Mufasa got up and grabbed his sword.

"Do not pretend that you're any better." Celestia said, then she got struck by Mufasa who swinged his sword at Celestia's abdomen, the armor kept her from getting cut but she still felt the sheer force of the impact which caused her to get knocked off her feet.

"You okay, big guy?" Eris said to which he smirked as an answer, then Celestia recovered and twirled her halberd.

"You should've stayed down if you know what's best for you." Celestia said as she gripped her halberd, Mufasa wiped the blood off of his mouth and gripped his claymore with both paws.

"I don't submit easily." Mufasa replied.

Then Celestia started swinging her halberd at Mufasa thirty times but surprisingly Mufasa started blocking every single strike in blinding speed despite the sword weighing twenty pounds, then Mufasa thrust his claymore at Celestia's breastplate, knocking her back, then Mufasa jumped and did a one arm downward slice to which Celestia dodged and counterattack by swinging her halberd at Mufasa two times, leaving two cuts on his shoulders, Mufasa retaliated by swinging his claymore at Celestia's face, slashing her left cheek and cutting off a few strands of her hair, Eris joined up with Mufasa wearing a special backpack.

"Where's your sense of honor?!" Celestia demanded.

"It was gone when my pathetic excuse for a brother killed me." Mufasa answered.

"And don't talk about honor when you have Luna fight a two on one battle against Discord, we're just giving you a taste of your own medicine." Eris said as she pulled out an RPG out of her backpack.

(Ninja Ninja: RPG in a motherfucking backpack?!)

Eris fired the RPG at Celestia to which Celestia used her magic shield to block the explosive projectile, the smoke of the explosion gave Mufasa an advantage as he jumped up and did a side downward slice, hitting Celestia in her left arm and causing her to skid in the ground, Celestia recovered and flew in to attack by swinging her halberd but Mufasa deflected the attack and swinged his sword, Celestia dodged the attack and tried to grab Mufasa with her telekinesis but surprisingly it didn't effect him.

"What?" Celestia said in shock "Impossible!"

Mufasa noticed that the necklace that Eris gave him was working well with telekinetic attacks, Eris fired a smoke spell to give Mufasa an opening, however Celestia flew up out of the smoke and fired several magic bolts at both Mufasa and Eris to which Mufasa blocked the attack by firing a magic blade at the magic bolts and Eris turned the other magic bolts into confetti, Celestia landed back on the ground and enhanced her halberd with her magic, both Celestia's mane and tail and Mufasa's duster coat were flying in the wind like a flag as Mufasa himself was ready to test out the limits of his sword.

"Having a hard time dealing with the both of us?" Eris taunted.

"If you surrender now, I'll make your punishments less painful." Celestia said.

"You're the one pulling out the false accusations, we're just travelers who wanted to talk to Twilight and her friends until you almost tried to kill my friend just because you think we're threats!" Eris responded "Did that brat told you false stories?"

"I'm starting to see a pattern, whatever that filly said about us is not true, so last chance, we end this pointless fight without any bloodshed and we can talk peacefully with the element barriers." Mufasa said, however Celestia replied by snorting in anger.

"I'll take that as a no." Eris said.

"Stubborn bitch, fine, you want to do this the hard way, then I will not have any regrets breaking you in two!" Mufasa said as he fired a magic blade at Celestia to which she blocked it with her magic shield and fired a magic bolt at Mufasa, hitting him in the left arm.

"What makes you think you can accomplish such a feat?" Celestia taunted.

"(chuckles) I'm a fucking Pride Lander." Mufasa answered.

Then he rushed in and started swinging his sword at Celestia thirty times but Celestia dodged and blocked every single strike, she then flew up and summoned a magic fireball to throw it at Mufasa but Eris Thanos snapped the fireball away, enraged, Celestia flew in and fired many magic bolts at both Mufasa and Eris but however, Eris turned the magic bolts into confetti and blew said confetti on Celestia's face, giving Mufasa an opening as he grabbed Celestia's neck and used his brute strength to threw her against the wall, Celestia recovered and grabbed her halberd to swing at Mufasa but he blocked the attack and pushed her back.

Twilight's POV

Twilight and the group had got to the stage seats and they saw that Celestia was fighting with Mufasa and Eris, the two lionesses and two hyenas knew who Mufasa is and Sarabi started to cry from both seeing the fact that her husband was alive and he's risking his life again.

"Hey, Applejack, if Celestia wins, you get to wear one of Rarity's dresses!" Rainbow Dash said.

"But if the big feller wins, you get to do all of my chores." Applejack replied, however both Rainbow Dash and Applejack didn't know that Sarabi and Kiara were giving out angry glares towards them.

"How did they managed to get the princess to fight in a gladiator match?" Starlight asked.

"We never had any gladiator matches in the Crystal Empire." Shining Armor said, then Twilight's phone started to ring, Twilight answered it and found out that Luna was calling her.

"Twilight, Celestia's gone she must've been taken--" Luna tried to say but was interrupted.

"We know, Celestia's in the colosseum fighting another lion." Twilight said.

"We're on our way." Luna said then she hung up.

"Who was it?" Jasiri asked.

"Its Luna, she was trying to find Celestia." Twilight answered.

"Twilight, we're at the castle but it proves that Cadence is right, the Crystal Heart's missing and its been replaced by a holographic decoy." Kion said through the radio to which Twilight grabbed it.

"Kion, we got a bigger problem, Celestia's fighting with another lion!" Twilight said.

"Another lion?" Kion asked "I need a description."

"He's got a-- Hey!" Twilight said as Sarabi grabbed the radio.

"Its Mufasa, the lion that's fighting Celestia is Mufasa!" Sarabi cried out.

"What!" Twilight said in shock.

"How did you know the lion's name?" Fluttershy asked.

"He's my husband." Sarabi answered.

"The big guy's your husband?" Rainbow Dash asked "Heh, you sure got dibs."

"I agree, he does look like a hard working male who makes Shining Armor look like a colt by comparison." Rarity said "Oh, I would love to feel such masculinity on him."

"Hey!" Shining Armor responded at the comment to which Janja laughed.

"Don't get any ideas, he's mine and I'm not letting any other women touch him without my permission." Sarabi said in a malice tone.

"Come on, everypony, we got to find Chrysalis, Cozy Glow, and Tirek." Twilight said.

"I think they're in the royal seats over there." Cadence said as she pointed at the area where the royal seats are.

"Then let's go." Twilight said, but Sarabi decided to run towards the field.

"Sarabi, where are you going?" Twilight asked.

"To help my husband!" Sarabi answered.

Mufasa's POV

Celestia started firing magic bolts at Mufasa to which he dodged and deflected every single magic bolt, Eris snapped her fingers to summoned giant roots to trap Celestia and give Mufasa an opening but Celestia used her magic to slice to roots, however Mufasa managed to charge up the magic in his sword and delivered a massive strike at Celestia's breastplate, the impact shattered her entire armor and knocked her back, revealing her G cupped breasts being held in her golden bra, her hourglass figure, her motherly hips being held by her golden underwear, and her strong but smooth legs, she still had her gauntlets on as she recovered and got up.

"(wolf whistle) Looking good, sunbutt." Eris said to which Mufasa gave out a weird look at her "Give me a break, babe, I'm bisexual."

"Something tells me that you were holding back the entire time." Celestia said as Mufasa stabbed his claymore in the ground.

"To be honest, yeah, I was." Mufasa replied as he took off his duster coat, revealing his muscular arms and the sleeves torn by them.

"So was I." Celestia said as she powered herself up, her mane changed into an orange color and she was glowing yellow.

Twilight rest her left hand on Kion's left paw that was on her belly and she used her right hand to grab his right paw, when Kion said that Twilight remind him of Rani and told her that she was caring and make him smile, her heart exploded with love as tears started flowing in her eyes as she finally found her soul mate, she didn't care if he's a different species, she loved him and making out with him and having sex with him proves it, then she closed her eyes and moved Kion's right paw towards her breasts, in his sleep, Kion started purring quietly as Twilight got comfortable and fell asleep with her lover cuddling her, unnoticed to them, Shining Armor was listening to their love making and conversation, he was not happy about it and thought of an idea to get back at Kion, then he went back towards his room.

Sorry if this chapter took too long, I was writing two stories at the same time which one of them wasn't submitted yet and this chapter was long to write.
