It was a beautiful winter morning in Equestria. All the Ponies were enjoying this time in different ways. Having hot chocolate, basking by the fireplace, playing with each other in the snow and among others.

However, this was the best time for Rainbow Dash.

"Let's go Soarin hurry up and get dressed soon! Or we'll miss out on all the fun today" Rainbow Dash told her boyfriend Soarin while he was wearing winter clothes. They were going to enjoy the winter together as they had every year since they started dating, and this was a new way to take Rainbow Dash's mind off of Tank while he is in hibernation.

"I'm almost done just another second" Soarin said

After a few seconds he was finally ready and the two were ready to go out and enjoy their day together.

"Ready honey" he said

"Great, let's go!" Rainbow Dash said as she started flying out of the house.

"Wow isn't winter simply amazing?" Rainbow Dash said as she and Soarin walked to a snow field.

"Yes, so what do you want to do first?" Soarin said

"I don't know, there are so many cool things in winter that I don't even know what I want to do, how about we build a snow pony?" Rainbow Dash said

"That sounds great" Soarin said

So they went to prepare the snowballs to build the snow pony.

When Soarin was taking his ball into place, he slipped in the snow and rolled the snowball toward Rainbow Dash, and the snowball finally fell on Rainbow Dash causing it to snow all over. .

"Oops, sorry" Soarin said shyly

After a while the two of them rebuilt the body of the snow pony and until finally the body of the snow pony was already built.

"Well now we need a nose for him" Rainbow said

"I brought a carrot with me in case we make a snow pony," Soarin said as he pulled a carrot out of his bag. He gave it to Rainbow Dash and then she put it on the snow pony.

"Ok now we need eyes for him" Soarin said

"I have a few bullets in my pocket I think it can serve as eyes," Rainbow said as she pulled the bullets out of her pocket and put them on the snow pony. And finally the snow pony was ready.

"He looked beautiful Dashie" Soarin said

"Yes, so what do you want to do now?" Rainbow Dash said

"Well I was thinking about ice skating" he said

"That sounds great," she said.

Rainbow Dash and Soarin headed for the skating rink with their skates in their hooves.

"So are you ready?" Soarin asked Rainbow Dash

"I'm always ready" she said

Rainbow Dash then got on the track and started doing her skating tricks.

Then she looked back and saw that Soarin was still in the same place.

"Come on Soarin, are you afraid?" She said

"No of course not, I just don't know how to patina on ice, it's been so long since I did that ..." He said

Rainbow Dash then went to him

"Hey don't worry, I'm here to help you come on you just need to trust yourself" she said in a sweet tone

Soarin smiled and then leaned over and kissed her cheek.

"Thanks Dash, I don't know what I would do without you"

"Well now are you ready to try?"

Soarin nodded.

So the two went to the skating rink

"Remember what I said, have confidence in yourself, let's just do what I do," she said.

Rainbow Dash then started making some simple track moves and Soarin just watched as she did.

"Come on Soarin is not that hard, remember confidence"

Soarin then finally got up the courage and started copying Rainbow Dash's moves, until by the time he least expected it he was skating very well on his own.

"Wow I had forgotten how much fun this is" he said

"Aren't you? You're skating very well, I knew you could do that" Rainbow said

Soarin finished his movements with a double spin.

"Thanks Dashie I wouldn't have done it without you"

"No problem, let's wanna bet a race?" She said

"But of course" he said

Then the two started skating across the skating rink at the fastest possible speed.

Rainbow Dash as it always was in front, but soon after she deconcentrated and slipped causing Soarin to crash into her and causing them both to fall in the snow.

Soarin and Rainbow Dash looked at each other and began to laugh several times.

"That was cool" Soarin said

"Yes and now, what do you want to do?" Rainbow said

"Well I can only think of one thing ..." He said

"Well what is-" she was interrupted by a snowball on her face

"Hey! What are you-"

"Let's go Dashie all for the fun"

Rainbow Dash then smiled and started to play

"Okay then" she said as she hit a snowball at him

"Ops, I'm sorry" she said sarcastically

"Oh you will see," Soarin said as he hit another snowball at her.

Then Rainbow Dash hit another of him and another and another and another. And so a snowball war began.

Soarin and Rainbow Dash couldn't help but laugh at what was happening, as soon as the war was over they lay in the snow and began to burst out laughing.

"Dude that was so much fun" Rainbow Dash said

"Yeah, hey Dashie?" Soarin said

"What?"

"Look up"

Rainbow Dash then looked up and then she saw several snowflakes falling. A snowflake landed on her nose causing her to sneeze.

"You look very cute with the snowflake on your nose" Soarin said

"I'm not"

"Yes you are"

"Well thanks ..." She said blushing

Suddenly she began to shiver and leaned close to Soarin.

"Cold?"

"Perhaps.."

Soarin then took off his cold suit and put it on Rainbow Dash. She blushed at that.

"Thank you Sound ... But what about you?"

"Don't worry about me, it's not that cold-" Soarin said when suddenly he began to shiver strongly too

"Well maybe it's a little cold ... But that's for a good cause" he said shivering, Rainbow Dash laughed

"OK, if you say so"

Then she leaned closer to him and he put a wing on his back.

"Best Winter Ever"
