"Nothing much FlashDrive, but hey I'm just wondering if you can come down to the school and help us set up the annual Fall Formal"

Flash ran straight for the door before he got stopped by his parents

"Where do you think you're going young man!", Flash's dad asked
"It's 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon, I thought you wanted to stay home and work on you silly robots or something"

Flash knew where this was going and took a deep sigh, "Oh brother"

"We were both asked to help the school for their fall formal and--"

Flash decided to practice a little parkour before outside while getting to the school, he thought it could be a useful skill in his arsenal and also to make crusher look stupid on live television

Flash made it to the school without a scratch and walked inside, "Hello?, anyone here?, I'm not late am I"

"Nope!", Flash saw Big Mac who was waiting outside the Gymnasium and pointed to go inside

He saw Micro Chips and Sandalwood working on a banner with Thunderbass and walked over to them, "So?, what exactly do wan't me to do MC?"

"Huh!?, Oh Flash You made it, oh uh I think Sunset wanted to see you behind the curtains"

Flash was a bit confused, "Behind the Curtains?"

"Oh maybe I should clarify, you know the stage curtains over there, I think she needed help loading out the instruments for the Rainbooms big performance, I don't know?"

Flash was a bit skeptical but just did what he was told and went behind the curtains and saw Sunset sitting on her phone on a pair of speakers

Flash's jaw dropped after taking in all that information, "Oh, well, that is something"

Sunset giggled to his expense and went outside, Hey so can you help me unload the drum set from our bus"

Flash starched his head, "You guys have your own bus?"

"Flash were musicians, of course we have a bus"

Flash lifted the Bass drum with ease which kind of made Sunsets jaw drop, "Flash that's easily 15 pounds, that's like bowling ball weight, your looking like Applejack out here"

Flash had to think fast not wanting to reveal his powers to anyone especially Sunset

"Oh um, well I work out a lot now so this is practically nothing to me"

Sunset playfully wanted to test his cockiness, "Is that so?", She then threw the floor tom drums, hi top drums and the snare drums

Surprisingly Flash felt fine , "Uhh, honestly I'm fine"

Flash was getting nervous and made up a quick lie to save himself, "Well this Bass Drum does seem a bit lighter than usual maybe it's damaged or something

Sunset snapped her fingers as if she made a discovery, "I knew it" but than again it was a bit suspicious that somehow Flash got all this strength and she knew damn well that he hadn't taken any steroids because it would show

"Alright then, Flash put the drums inside and help me out with the guitars and Microphones"

Flash and Sunset loaded out the rest of the instruments, gear and some pyrotechnics for the show

Flash looked towards Sunset, "So what are you guys aiming for this year?, I've never seen Pyrotechnics at a Rainboom Concert"

"Huh?!, Oh well we don't actually know to be honest, Vinyl, I mean DJ PON3 has something planned, its kind of a crossover between all of us"

Sunset looked a bit surprised, "How can you already have unfinished work?, it's November, I thought your like Twilight, the top student at everything, you basically lead all of our Science discussion in class"

"Well, I'm Brilliant but Lazy I guess, I don't have that goody go lucky always on time work ethic Twilight has"

Sunset Laughed, "Oh come on she's not goody go lucky, she's more goody two shoes Mrs over achiever"

"Wow Sunset, Wow I can't believe that's how see your friend"

They were both laughing for a good minute and when things died down..

"You know Flash, I don't have anyone to go with, well besides my friends, but, well...."

"Do you maybe want to go to the dance with me--, AS FRIENDS OF COURSE!", Sunset stuttered for a quick minute realizing what she'd just asked

It didn't take a Spider Sense to know that Flash needed to say something before things got to awkward between them, "Um, I guess I'll go if you really want me to-"

"GREAT SEE YOU FRIDAY NIGHT!"

Flash watched as Sunset left backstage and he just stood there scratching his head and thinking about what he's gotten himself into

So, did I just accept a date?, Or did I just accept a time to hangout with a friend?

Flash decided to leave and go home and think about what had just happened, he was filled with, excitement, confusion and nervousness all at the same time

Meanwhile at the gym

Sunset was going to walk to the water fountain but was stopped by Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Rarity

"So?, You asked him out didn't you?, Rainbow Dash asked with a sinister all knowing grin

Sunset was quick to answer, "Just as friends!"

Pinkie Pie soon followed, "So you do like him"

"I-, Okay maybe I kind of like his presence in the school, BUT NOTHING MORE!"

Pinkie Pie's face went Shipping mode, "I KNEW IT, THERE IS SO MANY PEOPLE TO TELL!"
