Dear princes Twilight,

The books you gave me impressed Steely Armor and the other you, as I expected. I gave most of the books to the two of them and held back a few for myself. I guess that's better.

We were having another rehearsal today . We need to complete Flaming Star's song before tomorrow afternoon. I was really of practice in the past week since I was , you know , focused on beating Flaming Star, wich I didn't. But I know if I try hard enough , I will.

We need to do a lot of parctice for tomorrow . This will show him for real that we reapect his art and we are worthy enough to have his work.

I promised Fluttershy to play some games with her , and while we were playing I discovered a few intresting things about about our new friends. She told me that Flaming Star brought his Parrot ,Beaky, to her for few days. Now that was what I really liked to hear . Since the Time I got to know Flaming Star, I understood that he literally had a problem with trusting people. Even more, with trusting his own capabilities.

But I'm happy that he trusted Fluttershy and considered her someone safe enough to leave beaky with. But there is definitely more to him than what he shows.

Anyway, I still can't believe Fluttershy can beat me. There us definitely morecommend to her than what she shows, too.

I better visit Twilight, our Twilight. Since I wasn't paying attention a lot of attention in the class in the past few days. I think I took the fight really, really seriously.

Dear princes Twilight,

Sorry for the delay, I went through some problems lately, wich I believe you will figure it out while reading the story.

So I headed to Twilight’s house and asked her for some help and she was glad to teach me. We were studying the whole night. I even felt asleep there!

The next morning we went to school together, wich made the long trip feel shorter. But we still needed to complete " A road to Brightness " Before afternoon . So we were just rehearsing and rehearsing class after class . I have to admit it was a thought song to pull off but we really enjoyed doing it, it had nice lyrics with a wonderful tune.

We practiced a little bit more before Flaming Star arrived. We were prepared, we were synced , chill , exited and Pinkie had baked some cupcakes to celebrate after performing. Everything was ready.

Flaming Star came to the music room and just after he came in he said "All right, IT'S SHOW TIME!"

"1.2.3...1.2.3 let’s Go! " Raibow Dash shouted and we started.

We all : "oooohwhoooh....Ooh..Oh. ..oooohwhoooh..Ooooooh. " 2 times

Twilight : " we..we are driving, on a road.

Fluttershy/ Rarity / Applejack : " Wind....is blasting through our souls.

Pinkie / Rainbow / Me : "Clouds... Filled the sky, with shadows!

We all : " We are driving on a road , to Brightness, where everything is fine and sun is shining. "

We all : " oooohwhoooh....Ooh ..Oh... oooohwhoooh. " 2 times

Twilight : " How much to go. How much to stay. (Me and Fluttershy joined) Nothing matters anymore , since we are together WE - ARE - TO -GE - THER."

When we were done we heard Flaming star clapping.

"OK,OK, that was good, I expect more but anyway, good job." He said . It seemed he thought we could have been better but I think we had done well enough for now.

"Sooooo, Let's celebrate!" Pinkie pie shouted as he brought out the cupcakes. She gave us all one including Flaming Star. We were all eating when Raibow Dash asked : " So, uh , pinkie ....what flavour is this?"

"Well, a little berry, strawberry Aaaaand of course chocolate. "

"WAIT!" Twilight shouted . She was looking at Flaming Star, he had droped the half eaten cupcake and knelt! I could tell he was struggling to breath so I just shouted " someone call an ambulance! "

We were lucky that he reached the hospital just in time or else who knows what could have happend . We were all there with Vice Principal Luna ; since the incident happened in school she had to be involved .

Twilight was walking in the hall and we were all staring at each other nervously , asking each other "What happened ?" Without even saying a world I wasn't sure, but I could tell they were all scared , even Pinkie Pie!

I decided to ask about the situation from Vice Principal Luna but she beat me up to it "Tell us what you did?"

I could tell from the tone of her voice that she was in no good mood for nonsense .

I dicided to speak for everyone . " We were performing for him and after that we were having fun and eating cupcakes then suddenly we saw him on the ground! "

I returned and sat next to the others, trying to think of a reason for what just happened . Then sudenly I heard someone rushing towards the reception . A tall man with brown hair , he was wearing a brown suit . At first I thought I have seen him somewhere before, then I realized, he was Bright Flame , Flaming Star's father!

"Where is my son !?" He asked the receptionist .

"Uh, what is his name, Mister?"

"Flaming Star!"

"She pointed past us and said " He's there in room 102."

The he walked towards Vice Principal Luna . I could tell he was mad. I also realized that Steely Armor have come along, too.

"What happened to my son?" He asked Vice Principal Luna .

"The doctor said it's some sort of allergy , but they don't know to what.?"

He sighed and said " chocolate, "

"CHOCOLATE !" Pinkie pie shouted, but Applejack covered her mouth almost immediately and shushed her since we were in a hospital. Bright Flame also turned his head and gave us a serious look. It was really scary by the way .

The doctor came out of the room after a couple of minutes . He explained the situation like this :" your son ha's an allergic reaction to chocolate . He should have been aware of what he was eating ,right? Anyway he managed to fish an EpiPen out of his jacket pocket as he was being put in the ambulance . That got him past the initial crisis . He's stable now ; he'll be fine but he should be under observetion for few days."

"Can I see him?" Bright Flame asked , and the doctor answered by a simple nod and then walked away. Bright Flame went through the door and closed the door behind him.

Vice Principal Luna told us to go back to our homes since the worst was over and we couldn’t stay there for much longer . We were still confused about what happened .

"I can't believe he's still alive. Like not being able to eat chocolate is like a NIGHTMARE!" That was how Pinkie Pie expressed herself.

"Maybe for you," Raibow dash said, "I don't think he'll mind not eating chocolate as long as he can breathe. He nearly paid a visit to the other side with just a bite from a cupcake!"

"It's good thing he had an EpiPen with him." Twilight said, pushing her glasses up against her face.

"What's a woopie pen?"

"EpiPen ,Pinkie . People with allergies sometime carry them in case of they go into anaphylaxis ."

"Sounds like a name for a candy store !"

"It's what they call an allergic reaction, a serious one. He probably knew he's allergic to chocolate but ..."

"But he didn't know that Pinkie Pie made those strawberry cupcakes with chocolate centers ." Fluttershy said.

"That's why I call them my strawberry Suprise cupcake!"

"Word of advice, darling," Rarity added. " never suprise him like that again."

"Well, after this I'm just happy that I ain't allergic to apples." Applejack added, "but I was thinking , we were kinda responsible for him being in hospital."

"OK, girls," I said, " our new friend, who we accidentally send to the hospital , gave us his art and work and considered us worthy . And , well, we didn’t gave him what he was expecting., so let's practice twice as hard and reach the perfection that Flaming Star is expecting from us! That will be our present to him when he's back on his feet."

Everybody was cheered and was happy with the idea; so was i. We decided to start tomorrow.

"And I'll whip a batch of Chocolate-Free I'm really REALLY sorry for what happened cupcakes! "

Raibow Dash sighed , " Pinkie, cupcakes are not the answer to everything!"

"They're not?"

We were practicing in the Apple Farm after school. We took this one twice as serious as last time. We also decided to add some decoration, too. I was wondering . " How can we make sure this is perfect and what Flaming Star wants?" On top of that I felt that our perfurmance hadn't changed! Practicing sure wasn't the answer; we were missing something , but I didn't know what.

I checked to see if we were doing something wrong ,but nothing! Every single ruse and fall was correct, every note was correct , we were singing duo and solo all right. I just couldn't put my finger on what the problem was. And it wasn't just me . I could sense that others weren’t satisfied with their work ,either . That sure wasn’t a good start.

The next day I decided to ask Steely Armor about Flaming Star, since they were besties after all. I could tell he was worried for his friend's situation and I think I would have been too if my best friend wasn’t alright. I started the conversation with few sentences and then I asked about Flaming Star.

" His fine, they said he'll be realesed by tomorrow afternoon! "

"That sounds good....and Bad!"

"What do you mean?"

I decided to explain the problem to him. "Uh , well, we were trying to prepare ourselves to perfurm the song he gave us for him as a present . But for some reason it's not coming out the way we want it, it's just not good enough. And now we don't have enough time. "

He stayed silent for a few seconds and then he gave me the answer that I was looking for: " You see, Flame always says that ' A great song doesn't come from our mind or words, but it comes from our heart and soul, and those gives it feeling and with it you can colour your lyrics through the tube!"

I was stunned when I heard his words, then I told myself "THAT'S IT!" The reasone why our performance wasn’t improving was because we weren’t giving it our feelings, we were just playing the music and singing.

I thanked Steely Armor and ran up to the music room where the girls were, and I told them the problem. I knew they would be exited by hearing it, too. So we started the practice.

Just when we reached the chorus I could sense it, I could sense the improvement and magic. We all started to pony up. It's was actually quite some time since we ponied up while playing music.

It was the day Flaming Star was going to be realesed, and we asked Steely Armor for a favour: to give an invitation card to Flaming Star . We all went to the Apple Farm after school since we still needed to decorate the barn before they arrived.

"Twilight darling, can you please give me a hand here?" Rarity said as much as she wanted to attach the welcome sign .

"Sure!" She attached the sign with her magic. By the time Applejack and Rainbow Dash brought the instrument and Pinkie was filling the balloons non - stop . I still wonder how she managed to do that with one breath.

Fluttershy and I decided to attach the balloons . Everything was ready . Now it was time for Steely Armor and Flaming Star to show up . Everybody took their positions, waiting for Flaming Star to walk through. Fluttershy put two birds in charge to tweet whenever they saw someone coming.

"Shhh, someone is coming !" Fluttershy whispered in the dark. In the darkness we saw two people arrive , and it was obvious who those two were.

Just after Steely Armor turned on the light we started to play. I could see that Flaming Star was shocked at first but as we reached the chorus I felt he was more impressed. Then, the familier feeling of magic passing through me. I could sense that the rest was experiencing the same thing. We ponied up once more and played the rest of the song. I didn't even understand when it ended. I guess I lost myself through the music.

I looked at Flaming Star and he was absolutely shocked ! I believe it was because of our trasformation. I can't say the same thing about Steely Armor since he seemed to be more facineted about it.

"So ,was our perfurmance awesome?" Raibow Dash asked, but what she got didn’t seem like a respond.

"Steely! "

"What?"

"Please tell me you have an explanation for what just happened!"

"I do, but I rather keep being fascinated then explaining it to you! "

"OK"

The wierd thing about the conversation was the way the two were looking at horizon ,without making an eye contact with each other. That should have said something about how shocked they were! Anyway, after a few minutes they came out of it. And it seemed that Flaming Star was truly fascinated by our work. And Steely Armor promised Flaming Star to explain everything to him tomorrow.

I guess our performance was more shocking than entertaining!
