The realm of Equestria has not known war for over 1000 years. Their Rulers, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, prefer the pen and the use of diplomacy over the sword and the power of war.

However, their dedication to peace is put to the most extreme of tests when militants kidnap the Elements of Harmony and Spike, taking them into the Everfree. With time running out and lives on the line, Princess Celestia sends a message to an old friend, alerting them of the situation...

Samuel Michaels, President of the United States, never thought he'd have to deal with Equestria again, not since the incidents in Canter City, Massachusetts. Nor did he think that Princess Celestia would send an urgent call for help to his desk in the Oval Office.

Her realm is in danger of falling, and she cannot face it alone, not this time. The President responds by sending the elite US Army Fifth Special Forces Group, better known as Ghost Recon, under Lt. Colonel Scott Mitchell, to assist her and the realm she rules.

Their mission is to stabilize Equestria and avert a cross-world war by any means necessary. For some, it's asking the impossible. For the Ghosts, it's just another day at the office.
