Chapter 7: Chapter 8: Damsel's in distressess
Previous ChapterAnother week had passed. Taylor, Courtney, Heather, and Paddy were drowned with school works since the term exams are fast approaching before Christmas vacation. Their last hang out was the after game party at Inco’s. They had so much fun. James drove Paddy back to the dorm, just right on time before their curfew. Courtney drove Neil’s rover since Neil was a little drunk. Tyler drove Heather as well and Kent walked Taylor to her car. It was the night to remember since it was the first time that the girls were hanging out with their boyfriends.
It is Saturday morning, Heather and Courtney received an invitation to a beach party from Carmie during breakfast. It’s strange that after the party at Inco’s, they are trending in Spencer’s gossips and many girls want to be friends with them. Bitches
“This is the annual beach party for Spencer girls at the shore before the snow starts to drop.” Carmie explained. “And boys are not allowed” she winked.
“We will tell Paddy and Taylor and then we’ll decide if we’ll go since we’re not familiar to the place.” Heather answered politely. Taylor and Paddy are sleeping still in their bedroom since they were out last night for calculus. Yes, on a Friday night. Weird
“Oh I forgot, I tell you the way down to the beach.” Carmie instructed. “and here’s my number, call me if you’re having trouble. See you there!”
“Ayt!” Courtney smiled.
When Carmie is out of sight Heather turned to Courtney. “We should go or not?”
“I don’t know, Taylor will drive anyway and I think it’s time to loosen up. You know, we haven’t gone out like really out just us four alone.” Courtney said. “And I miss the shore.”
Back in California, they go to beach in a while to watch hot surfers or to ‘bay watch’ as Paddy and Taylor call it. Going to beach right now is like going home. They miss home.
“I have a bad feeling to this Carmie girl.” Heather spitted out. It’s weird that Carmie is talking to them and it creeps her out.
“Why?” Courtney asked. “She seems nice to invite us.”
Taylor and Paddy came to sight. Again, they’re always late for breakfast. Neil, Tyler, and Kent were out of the dorm first hour in the morning. They said they’ll be going home.
“What’s up?” Taylor greeted. She seated beside Heath with her tray of food.
“Are you ready for a beach party?” Courtney asked. “Carmie invited us.”
“Yeah? I mean why?” Taylor asked raising her eyebrows. She too doesn’t trust Carmie.
“She has bangs, dude. I have a bad feeling to those who are wearing bangs.” Taylor added as she tossed bread to her mouth.
“Shut up, Taylor! You have bangs!” Paddy barked.
“I don’t have! And she has a Jesse J bangs. I don’t like it!” Taylor justified and gave a small laugh.
“I think I’m on. We’re on our third week here but we haven’t gone to explore this town.” Paddy said ignoring Taylor’s bad impression to Carmie’s bangs.
“Yeah Tay! I’ll bring my camera to create memories.” Courtney agreed. “How about you Heath?” She turned to Heather.
“I don’t know. Taylor will drive anyway.” Heather replied. “and I’m not in the mood to study either.”
“You know the way?” Taylor asked. Even she doesn’t want to go, as she has a choice. She doesn’t trust Courtney’s sense of direction. “I can smell adventure.” They looked each other and laughed.
“Right! It’s on south west part, Brighton, an hour drive and bring food, Carmie said.” Courtney informed.
“Are you sure?” Paddy and Taylor asked in unison then they laughed knowing they’re thinking the same thing. Courtney’s sense of direction sucks.
After the girls were dressed right for a beach party, in Cali they would wear bikini but in England they are on sweaters and jeans for November-weather. They are now settled on Taylor’s Ford Fiesta.
Taylor stops at the nearest gas station and the three girls grab some chips and drinks at the shop. Taylor pays for the full tank since it is a long drive.
“Buckle up!” Taylor commanded as she pulled out of the gas station’s drive. She puts the stereo on and they all sing and dance on the beats. Courtney’s busy capturing memories. Taylor is pretty sure it’ll be uploaded first thing tomorrow in her facebook. Their first road trip in England.
As Taylor drives, she noticed how Paddy’s eyes glow every time she saw how beautiful the colour of the trees is. It is almost winter but the grasses on the fields are bright green. Among the girls, Paddy is the most environmental friendly and she appreciates every creature in the earth. Among us, maybe she’s the most grateful why our parents send them to this town and not to the city.
Heather is visible in Taylor’s rear view mirror. She is eating chips and deep in her thoughts. She can be a bit moody sometimes. Her lips pouted and if Tyler was there, he is probably seduced by Heather’s little mole right in her lips.
Taylor’s eyes on the road and as she passed the long bridge, she can sense that they are almost near. “I think we’re near. Call Carmie.”
Heather checks her phone and says “There’s no signal.”
“Mine either.” Courtney said. She set aside first her camera and checks her phone.
“Ops! I think we’re here! I can see the beach!” Paddy said excitedly.
“Are you sure it’s the south west?” Taylor asked when they finally reach the shore but no sign of any Spencer girls.
They try to call Carmie but no one of them got a signal. They looked around and no house or cottages near the shore. They want to ask for help but not a single citizen is passing.
“I think we’re a little early.” Paddy said trying to be optimist. “Come let’s enjoy the beach for a moment. Come on. Isn’t this place awesome?”
Courtney followed her and took some pictures. Taylor and Heather joined them and enjoy the scene for a while but when minutes had passed and still no sign of any Spencer girls, Taylor got the feeling they’ve been punk’d like in TV show Ashton Kutcher’s hosting.
The place is so quiet. The only sound you’ll hear is the ocean sound and wiizzling of the wind. The sun is out and sky is blue. You can see birds flying freely across the ocean and mountains. It is a picture perfect scene for the four girls who wanted nothing but adventures.
“Remember the place where one direction shoots their ‘what makes you beautiful’ music video?” Courtney said. She is a fan for sure. She knows every detail of the boy band.
“Yeah, Court! But that one was near at the coastal road. This place got trees, yeh knerr.” Paddy objected trying to mimic British accent.
“Shut the fuck up.” Courtney too mimics British accent.
“I think they’re ditching us.” Taylor said after they got tired running the shore and danced under the sun like in some kind of feminine wash commercial.
She started walking back to her car. She checks her watch and it’s past twelve. “I’m going to grab some food.”
The three girls followed. As they walk to the car, they noticed they were gone for a long walk. Courtney is still enjoying snapping photos. Paddy and Heather enjoyed being her model like they’re on a photo shoot or something.
Taylor eyes dilated to see the Ford Fiesta’s tire.
“Is that tire supposed to look like that?” She said to grab her three friends’ attention.
“Oh my god, it’s a flat tire.” Heather exclaimed.
“Shit!” Taylor cursed and ran towards the tire to examine it. “Shit. This isn’t flat when I parked it here.”
Taylor looked at her friends whose eyes are in horror like her. “I knew it, this is a trapped. Carmie wants us stranded!”
“Shit! I should’ve known!” Heather exclaimed. “Tyler brought me to shore on our first date. That wasn’t a long drive. I didn’t remember the direction since it was dark when we drove to the shore.”
“What?!” Paddy, Courtney and Taylor shouted in unison.
“Now we’re stuck!” Taylor shouted. She’s mad. She tried to figure out how to fix the tire. “I think someone was here to hole my tire. It’s not flat when I leave it here. I’m gonna kill that bitch. What is her problem?”
“I’m sorry.” Heather apologized. “It’s my fault. I should’ve known she gave us a wrong direction.”
Paddy walked towards Heather to comfort her. “It’s not your fault. It was dark and I was the one who agrees to join that bitch beach party. She’ll pay what she had done. And why she wants us to be stranded here? We haven’t done something wrong to her. We’re not even talking to her.”
“That bitch. I think she’s jealous.” Courtney said. “Tay, you have fixing tools or extra tire?”
“Yes I have but I don’t know how to fix this.” Taylor said. There’s a worry in her voice.
“Ok. We’ll figure that out. Let’s eat first. I’m starving.” Courtney said coolly. She opens the door and grabs some food. “Good thing I bought bread and cookies instead of chips.”
Paddy and Heather joined Courtney at the car and grab something to eat.
“Next time, we should trust Taylor’s instinct about bangs.” Paddy joked. They giggled but this is seriously a trouble. They got flat tire, it’s a long drive, and they don’t get a signal.
Taylor is still uneasy and snatches her phone from her pocket from time to time. She still couldn’t get a signal. She is worried if they’ll be stuck here after dark. It’s cold and they haven’t brought a lighter to start a fire. Nobody among the girls is a girl scout before.
“Who among you told the guys we’re out for a beach party?” Taylor finally asked.
“I leave James a message we’ve gone to the beach but I haven’t told him what beach.” Paddy said. “Chill, Tay. Eat something.”
“Yeah ,Tay. Eat.” Courtney offered. “I texted Neil we’re out for a beach party but I also haven’t told him where.”
“I told Tyler, Carmie invited us to a party and we’re heading out to the shore.” Heather said. Her voice is a bit shaky like she’s about to cry.
Taylor grabbed some bread and tossed it to her mouth. “Seriously, I’m gonna kill that Carmie.”
“We’ll help you Tay!” Paddy offered. “Her ugly face will pay!”
They let their self out for a small laugh. They were stranded but the important thing, they all in this together. Friends stand up for each other. What more if they are BEST FRIENDS.
“Though your ‘reporting’ about stuffs you’re going to do this day to your boyfriends is making me sick, it is still a great thing. I’m sure if they couldn’t contact us for the next hours, they’ll be out looking for us. Hopefully.” Taylor rolled her eyeballs.
“You haven’t told Kent?” Courtney asked in surprise. They’re pretty sure their friend Taylor is dating Kent. Why they don’t have some cheesy text moments?
Taylor flashed a ‘what’ look and answered “No. but now I regret I haven’t.”
Since all of them don’t know how to fix a flat tire or even change the tire, they are hopeless. The only hope they holding is that the guys are now looking for them and find where they are before dark.
“Let’s go outside to get some help. Maybe there’s a car would pass or a nearby house.” Paddy suggested.
“Ok, I’ll go with you.” Taylor said.
“We’ll collect woods to heat us up after dark. It’s getting cold.” Courtney said.
“Alright. I’ll lock the car. Maybe Carmie’s mole was just around and will steal our food when we’re out. It’s the only thing we’ve got to survive the night.” Taylor said. Though she doesn’t want to think they’ll be stuck here the whole night, they have to be ready.
“Don’t trust strangers. They might take advantage. See you in an hour alright? Be safe.” Heather warned.
If this was a movie, it’s pretty exciting. But this is real. They should be careful since the four of them are girls and only Paddy knows how to Taekwondo. This is a foreign country and 911 don’t exist. They don’t have signals and the car is full tank but flat tire. Carmie did a great job making them stranded and helpless.
**
Tyler hit the gym before he decided to go home. He already told Heather last night. It’s not that he wants to report all these things to his girlfriend but he wants to let her know. He wants her to trust him to avoid fights and less making up.
After an hour lifting weights, he finally hit the shower and ready to meet his parents. He is only child and for sure his parents are excited to see him. He went home just like every weekend and to think that his house were just miles away from his school, his parents think he’ll do better in boarding school to avoid teenage boy drama.
When he checks his phone, he got three messages. One from his mom, she said that she’ll cook his favourite food for lunch so he should be home early. One is a group message from Carmie, he hadn’t finished reading it but press the delete button. Then one from Heather, she said Carmie invited her to a party, they’re heading out to the shore.
Why the hell Carmie is inviting Heather to a party? Tyler thought. He thinks this is trouble. Why would his ex-girlfriend invite his girlfriend to a party?
Tyler immediately dialled Heather’s number and it went to a voice mail. Hey, what shore? Call me back ayt? Tyler leaves the message.
He called Taylor but he couldn’t reach her as well as Paddy and Courtney. He called next is Neil.
Hey man, where are you? Tyler asked as Neil picks up his phone.
Heading to farmhouse. Why? You sound urgent. Neil answered back.
Carmie invited Heather to a party. She said they’re heading to the shore.
What? Court told me but I did not know Carmie invited her.
It’s trouble, man. I can sense it.
When the man is jealous, it’s kinda sweet but if a girl? It’s a world war 3, man. I’ll check the shore. I’ll call you back.
Neil hang up.
Tyler dialled Carmie’s number and it went to a voice mail. Damn! Tyler cursed.
He drives straight home because his mom is waiting for him. If Neil will call and the girls weren’t at the shore, he’ll go search for them. Carmie is a bitch. She can do whatever she wants. Since the girls we’re not familiar to the place maybe she planned to lose them in the woods.
After lunch that his mom prepared, Tyler went upstairs to his bedroom and checks his phone. He got a message form Neil.
They’re not here. What shore? Courtney hadn’t mention. She’s not answering my calls either.
Tyler dialled Kent’s number. Maybe Taylor told him. He answered on the third ring.
Hey! Did Taylor told you where they’re going today? Tyler asked right away.
No man, why? Kent asked.
Heath told me Carmie invited them to a party. I got a feeling they’re in trouble. I called them but they’re not answering my calls. Where you at? Tyler called.
Isn’t she your ex? I’m at Penguins. Alright, I’ll help you find them.
Ok, I’ll see you there in 20. Tyler hang up.
Tyler replied to Neil’s text. Call James, maybe Paddy told him where they’re heading. Kent said Taylor hadn’t mention to him which shore. I’ll pick Kent up at Penguins. Go pick up James. We need to find them before dark or they’ll freeze to death.
Tyler went downstairs and grabs his car key.
“Where do you think you’re going young man?” Tyler heard his mom called for him.
“Mom, my girlfriend is in danger.” Tyler said as he reached to kiss his mom goodbye. “I’ll see you later, love you!”
“Wait, what? Should I call the cops?” Tyler heard his mom but didn’t bother to answer her. He immediately headed to pick up Kent.
**
Neil was almost near at the farmhouse. It’s been two weeks since he hadn’t come home. But when he received Tyler message to go pick up James, he pulled to a U-turn. He’ll make it up to his parents later.
Carmie is also his ex-girlfriend and no doubt she could do foul things to the transfers. His concern is that the four girls were new here and there are possibilities they’ll be lose in the woods and it’s freaking cold. Probably, they’re not use to cold since they’re from California. He doesn’t want something bad happen to Courtney. He started to care for her. He first saw her cried; he doesn’t want to see Courtney hurt again.
He reached for his blackberry and dialled James number. He is speeding and he doesn’t care. They need to hurry.
Neil, what’s up? James answered.
Hey! I’m picking you up. Where you at? Neil asked over the phone.
What? Why? I’m at my place. James replied. Neil could hear the TV is on in background.
I’ll explain later. See at 20.Text me your address. Neil hang up.
After James texted his address, Neil immediately headed to his place. Tyler and Kent were probably waiting at Penguins. This day is going to be exciting.
**
It’s been an hour and there is still no car passing the road. Paddy and Taylor are busy searching for the place to have signal. Even they are stranded; Taylor can’t help to notice how beautiful the place is. Paddy on the other hand feels the same way. She kept flashing her camera.
“The first adventure in UK!” Paddy answered when she saw Taylor is giving her a what-the-hell-Padd look. “Tay! Why do you think Carmie would do this to us?” Paddy asked. “You’re the one who’s good at breaking codes.”
“I was thinking she is in love with either Neil or Tyler.” Taylor started. “After Neil went to hug Courtney after the game and Tyler sang a song for Heather, this Carmie girl is been nice to them. And she only invited Heath and Court, right?”
“Yeah, I noticed that too. Carmie is so nice to Heath and Court.” Paddy agreed. “I thought, it’s because they do home economics together.”
“I don’t know. We’re not rooming with them so maybe there are things happened that they forgot to let us know.” Taylor said. Her eyes are still on her phone. She’s hoping she’ll get a signal.
“It’s not their fault anyway. I’m not going to forgive that bitch. I’m going to thank her for letting us discover this kind of place but I’m gonna kill her for sabotage your tire!” Paddy exclaimed.
“Tell me about it Padd!” Taylor agreed rolling her eyeballs. “Let’s get back. We need to figure out how to change the tire.”
“Alright!” Paddy muttered. It’s disappointing they haven’t got any help. They walked back to the car when Taylor screamed at the top of her lungs. Because Paddy shouted as well when she saw there’s a snake fell at Taylor’s shoulder. Taylor turned hysterical to get rid of snake. Good thing the snake crawled away and hasn’t beaten Taylor.
Paddy saw Taylor sobbing and a bit shaky. She knows Taylor has fears for worms. But snakes? It even scares her to death. Paddy walked towards Taylor to hug her. She is stiff and it worries Paddy.
“Tay! Are you okay?” Paddy comforted Taylor. “Let’s go get you water. Gosh Taylor! You look horrible.”
Taylor is pale like paper. Paddy assisted her inside the car as soon as they reached the car. From moment to moment she’ll stop crying then she’ll cry again. She is still in shock.
**
Heather and Courtney were out in the woods to get some woods. They still couldn’t get a signal out here and it frustrates them. Courtney’s playing cool and taking pictures as if they’re on vacation pisses Heath off. She is worried like hell and Courtney still thinking she could be a professional wild life photographer someday.
“I think we have enough.” Courtney said holding a handful woods. For the first time, she sets aside her camera.
“You have a lighter or a match? How could we light this up?” Heather asked sounds pissed. It’s getting dark and they need to get back.
“Oh shit. You’re right! Why we don’t smoke? We badly need lighters now.” Courtney cursed. “You should’ve mentioned it a bit soonerr!”
“You should’ve mentioned it a bit sonnerr!” Heather mocked Courtney’s British accent. “Let’s get back. Maybe Taylor got lighters in her car.” Heather suggested.
They decided to go back when Heather’s phone rang. Finally they got signal. It was Kent who’s calling.
Kent! Help! We’re stranded. We’re at south west Brighton. Heather said urgently. She just hopes she’s not choppy and Kent could clearly understand her.
Kent! hello? Heather said over the phone when Kent did not answer back. They lost signal again.
“Oh my god Heath! I hope he gets the message.” Courtney said almost shouting. They ran to meet Taylor and Paddy at the car.
“What happened?” Courtney asked to Paddy. She did not wait for Paddy to answer and says “Heather got a signal and she told Kent where we at. I’m sure they’re coming.”
“What? That’s good news.” Paddy said excitedly and hugged Courtney.
“What happened to Taylor?” Heather drops the woods in her hand and went to check Taylor who’s still a bit shaky. Her eyes are red from crying.
Paddy drags Heather and Courtney away from Taylor. She’s afraid if she mention snake again, Taylor would cry again.
“There’s a snake fell at her shoulder. Good thing it didn’t bite her.” Paddy explained.
“She’s in trauma, oh my god!” Courtney said in shock. She went to comfort Taylor inside the car. “Oh my god, Taylor has a fever!”
“What?!” Heather and Paddy ran towards the car. Taylor is curled up in the car and when they feel Taylor’s forehead, she’s freaking hot.
Courtney wet her hanky and places it to Taylor’s forehead to at least ease Taylor’s fever.
The sun is setting but still there’s no sign of Kent. They should probably here soon since Heather received the call an hour ago. What if Kent didn’t get the message?
Taylor looks a little better but its freezing cold. They stuck inside the car and they turned on the heater to keep them warm. The woods are useless since they don’t have any match or lighter. Another hour in the shore would freeze them to death.
**
The four boys met at Penguins to start searching for their girlfriends. James took the ride with Neil and Kent hopped in to Tyler’s car. The first place they check was at Spencer’s. They look for Carmie but she’s not in there. She’s the only one who knows where the girls were heading since it is all her plans.
They check the nearest shore and ask the people at the surrounding if they saw the four girls but they haven’t got any information. They decided to split up to speed their searching.
“Taylor got the Ford so probably they went to a gas station.” Kent said.
“Why I haven’t thought about that? Let’s check on the nearest gas station at Spencer.” Tyler went to a U-turn.
Kent called James to check on the gas stations. Hopefully the girls had a small talk about the cashier or whatever and told them where they’re heading. It’s the only thing they’re holding to.
When Tyler pulled off at the gas station near the school, they said there’s a Ford Fiesta dropped by around 9 am with four girls, two blondes and two brunettes. They’re heading south. Tyler immediately headed south. Kent informed James and Neil.
It’s already 4pm when they got the information. Fat chance but they have to take a risk. They’re going south.
“From time to time please try to reach on either of the girls. I think they don’t get signals.” Tyler commanded.
Of all the four boys, Tyler is the most worried. Maybe he knows he’s the reason why the four girls are missing. He dumped Carmie two weeks before he started dating Heather. It’s her sweetest revenge.
Kent finally reached Heather’s phone. Her voice is in panic. It was quick, he lost contact on Heather.
“She said they’re at south west Brighton.” Kent immediately informed Tyler. Tyler speeds up since they’re on the right way.
“Faster, man. I have a bad feeling Taylor is in trouble…” Kent said.
**
After an hour, finally they boys found Taylor’s car. It is almost dark and the sun is setting. Neil and James arrived first and immediately went out of the car to find Paddy and Courtney running towards them.
Paddy went to hug James tightly. “Thank god, you’re here.”
Courtney clung to Neil and drawled “Taylor..”
As Neil looked into her eyes, he could sense Taylor is in trouble. He ran towards the car to check on Taylor but Kent is faster. Tyler followed to hug Heather.
“Thank god, you found us..” Heather said to Kent but he push pass through her and walk off to Taylor.
Kent felt his adrenaline when he saw Taylor crawled up in the car. She looks pale and she is freaking hot. She got a fever.
Kent reached to carry Taylor, bridal style. “Hurry up, man. She got a fever.” He shouted to Tyler. He joined Taylor at the back seat of the car and cuddles her tightly.
Tyler and Heather followed hand in hand to the car. He opened the door for Heather then ran towards the driver’s door and started the car. They have to bring Taylor to the nearest hospital.
“What happened?” Tyler asked when they are driving now on the road.
“Taylor has fears for reptiles. A snake fell at her shoulder while they’re looking for help..” Heather said slowly. “I think she’s in trauma.”
“If something happens to Taylor, I’m gonna kill your psycho ex, dude!” Kent warned.
“What? Is Carmie your ex?” Heather piped in. She turned to Tyler.
Tyler looks at her then back to the road. He is speeding again. If there were cops here, he’ll be dead. “Yeah, when I received your message about Carmie invited you to the party; I started to search for you.”
“Ty! You settle this on her! Taylor could be killed if you haven’t found us..” Heather said in contempt.
“I’m sorry.” Tyler apologized. He knows it was his fault.
**
Taylor was admitted to the hospital. She is recovering from the antipyretic; the nurse has given to her. She’ll be out of the hospital first thing tomorrow as the doc promise. Her parents called and if you think her mom would be on her, well, she’s being scold for partying around instead of studying. Her car is supposedly be confiscated again but her mom didn’t after Taylor cried over the phone.
Kent is worried like hell when he saw how horrible Taylor looks back in the car. He insisted to stay at the hospital to babysit Taylor. He never thought he’ll be a knight in shining armour and Taylor will be his damsel in distress. Taylor Strong is ‘strong’ but Kent Alter could ‘alter’ it sometimes to her weaker side. In that case, Taylor needed Kent, her hero.
Tyler drove Heather back to her dorm. He told her Carmie is his past and she is now his present. Heather understands it’s not his fault but Carmie’s. Tyler is worried about the cat fight that will happen if he won’t deal with Carmie sooner. He felt sorry for Taylor. She’s not supposed to be involved in this Tyler-Heather-Carmie situation but she was the one who suffered. Hope she’ll be fine.
Tyler kissed Heather goodbye and Heather kissed him back intensely, possessively. All he could say is ‘she’s hotter than Carmie.’
Neil drove Courtney back to the dorm as well. After a long day, glad they found them before it’s too late for Taylor. Courtney deserved to rest since Kent insisted to watch Taylor at the hospital. He’ll thank Carmie anyway. Courtney let him kiss her. He loves how he caressed Courtney’s back while she ran her hands through his hair back to his neck.
James gets his hands dirty for fixing Taylor’s car. He doesn’t mind anyway for Paddy stayed with him. He also joined Paddy at the hospital since she’s afraid to be alone in the dorm. Paddy fell asleep to James shoulder and it was just a picture perfect moment for James. If he would own a scoreboard, he would rate this moment as perfect ten.
**
What will I do so you could be out of my life, Carmie? Look! I NEVER LIKED YOU! Tyler leaves a message to Carmie since she’s not answering his phone calls.
Leave my girlfriend alone or I’ll tell the world how disgusting to see you sleeping open mouth with saliva flowing.. and oh Neil just told me, you got lies on 8th grade! Yes! We’re talking about you. We were talking how awful and tragic to be your boyfriend for a moment. This is goodbye Carmie! He ended the message.
Tyler made the phone call after he drops Heather to the dorm. He never felt better after he made the phone call. Carmie deserves to be treated like shit. It’s time to learn her lesson. He disdains her. Not all she wants is what she gets.
He made his way to his home and for sure his mom would be interest to know who this girl he’s trying to save.
Well, mom, she’s beautiful. Tyler smiled at the thought.
