Stable 25 was the testing ground for a new Stable-Tec invention called the A.A.S.S. A device created to keep ponies alive without the need for food. What was once considered to be the pinnacle of pony engineering, turned mundane and little more than a passing thought in the lives of the Stable ponies that live there. Living out her painfully boring and dull existence in the Stable, Amber Aura does little else but look after the device.
But few things stay the same in the wasteland, and even places locked away that most ponies thought to be untouchable are bound to change in the most unexpected of ways. Thrust out from their relatively safe Stable and hunting down a group of terrifying cyber ponies, Amber Aura and her fellow Stable Dweller Brisk Spark, find themselves struggling for survival in the bombed out ruins of the once great city of Manehattan.
But the cyber ponies they pursue are only the tip of the iceberg in a much larger play. Waring factions threaten the desolate Manehattan streets, Red Eyes forces grow in his hellish city of Fillydelphia and old prewar secrets long since buried stir beneath everyponies hooves... Secrets that may once again play a role in Equestria's fate...
