Defeated by the two, defeated by a unicorn and her little dragon and now defeated by the six ponies an the same unicorn but now a alicorn. Now the King had failed. Failed the Umbrum, and Grogar had no use for The King of Shadows.
From a normal ponies viewing King Sombra, is a evil unicorn that only wants to enslave the crystal ponies, even Celestia said that "His heart is black as night". But if you find or read his journal or diary (Base out of the comic Sombra's Origin) like Twilight you may find more than just a heart that is black as the night, but a heart that is Cold as the Frozen North.
Can any pony forgive King Sombra.

Prologue: From The Beginning.
(Celestia is the narrator)
Long ago there was a King that had a heart as black as night, that ruler the Crystal Empire with a iron hoof. His name was King Sombra. He enslave the crystal ponies to do hard back breaking labor and to be his mind controlled army. He was banish to the Frozen North by my sister and I. But Sombra had punt a curse on the empire and the ponies that life in it. The empire was gone?
One thousand year later The Crystal Empire return. I made sure that the empire will not fall. I sent Princess Cadence and her husband Shining Armor to be the new rulers of the empire. But the Imperial city and the crystal ponies was not the only thing, He returned. King Sombra was not in his full form more like a shadow like monster. I saw this as a great opportunity to give a test to My fateful student Twilight Sparkle and I wanted to tell Twilight to let her friends to join her so they will help. Luckily Twilight did found the Crystal Heart but she was trapped. She told her little dragon Spike to bring the heart to the center. As Spike fell the King of Shadow was under, ready to take the heart. But Princess Cadence caught the dragon and the heart. As soon as the heart was place in the center the evil king was no more. But I was foolish to know he was gone. A few years later he return again at the Crystal Empire. 'It seems that his magic is to strong to be destroyed'. But my student now a Princess and her friends use the elements to destroy him.
But Sombra said "you may win this battle but you have not won the war".
Twilight defeated him with her friends by using the elements and saved her brother Shining Armor and her sister in-law Princess Cadence and Cadence daughter Flurry Heart. But Sombra was right the war was not won. As the Twilight and her friends punt the elements back they saw black crystal hitting the tree and destroy it an the elements. The King was laughing, because he had won. He trapped Twilight and her friends and he wanted there nightmares to come true, make enslave home town in a army so he can storm Canterlot. He was close but defeated by Twilight and her friends. And this is where we start.(Celeteia ends narrating)

As Discord Left the main six where savoring there victory.
"All right we did it!"said Rainbow Dash acting like it was the end of a war.
"You bet right" said AppleJack as she smile.
Fluttershy said "yay".
"Lets hope that dreadful king doesn't come back" said Rarity
"WHO Ready For a Party!"said Pinkie Pie.
"Celestia do you believe he is" Twilight try to say it but pause "dead??"
Celestia look at her student and friend "Twilight I do not know but we must all be ready I think about to add security in Canterlot and the Royal castle"
"So no party on kill King Sombra but just a defeat?"Pinkie said.
Celestia continue talking to Twilight "Twilight you and your friends need to go home and get a some rest, you all have done well today by defending Equestria and defeating King Sombra."
"You said it Princess" said all but Twilight.
Twilight said with a delay from her friend "Maybe I can help or something maybe I can go back to the Crystal Empire and go look in Sombra's study room and find out more about is plan or something?!?!"
"Twilight" said Luna "Do not worry about anything we have all the help here thy sister and I have all the hoofs needed her."
"Your right Luna I know I'm going to be further ruler of Equestria I guess I need to just go back to my castle and just read some book or get done with the paper work at the school" said Twilight.
Twilight ran off to her friend and they all walk to the train to go to ponyvile. But Twilight had something on her mind It was nothing to worry about that would change Equestia it was the thought of that she could had kill King Sombra. 'He once had a heart of good I read his journal there must be more secret in the Crystal Empire or even the Frozen North'.

(CH 1 ) Your No King
I was dark, the floor was ice. The air and all around was as ice cold. There was no life actually nothing can life in this area. The sound of dripping water echoes the area, the shaking of the ground was it a earthquake or equesquake. There was few light source by crystal, some where blue, green and purple.
Suddenly a black smoke appear, it was like fire but black, it was violent acting. There was something in it. Two green eyes with blood red irises, smoke can out of them the color was purple that fading. the smoke clear making a figure like a pony, no a stallion. He was tall and a unicorn. His horn was a red at the tip and faded to gray. His horn sparked black bolts of magic. His fur was as gray, he had armor covering his neck. His mane was as black as the smoke that he came from and the tail was the same. He had metal hoof shoes like a knight would wear was on his hoofs. He had teeth that look jagged like you will lose your hoof or something. He had a blood red cape that attach his chest armor with white cotton with small grey dotes at the end of the blood red cape . On top his head was a crown it was made of metal with spikes at the sides of the areas where ears would be, in the center was a circle and two red spikes. This was no normal pony. He was the ruler of the Crystal Empire. King of the Umbrum. King of Shadows. It was King Sombra.
As Sombra looked around his surroundings he said to him self something.
'Where am I here'
The King had many questions and they where being answer was he wait. He remember everything, the day he took the empire.
He remember his last battle "So.. Much.. HatRED!!!"
He remembers Tasting The elder Alicorn's wrath 'It was so good' he smiled.
He remember what she fear, she was afraid of her sister "LUNA!!" the member of the the alicorn call Celestia cried here sister's name.
He remember Luna, how powerful she was. He remember his defeat "Those Sisters!!!!" he smashed the ground in rage.

He remember his return it gave him a smile to remember how the crystal ponies that saw him, "There fear hahaahaha". That gave him a smile and a laugh.
But in that same member he remember that purple mare unicorn and her littler dragon, he remember that she open his secret camber that long stair was down into darkness. "She is far more stronger that any of the alicorn's".
The same member he say that she had found the crystal heart. He stop her but not the heart and the dragon. And that dragon took the heart and he would had him and the heart but that alicorn the new ruler of the crystal empire took that heart and dragon. She put the center and the ponies power the heart. "AAAAAhhalla!" He remember the pain.
He remember that unicorn name "Twilight Sparkle". And that alicorn "Princess Cadence" and her husband that was Twilight brother "Shining Armor". He remember he nullified his magic.

His final remember him coming back again, he remember he was trapped in The Ether. In The Ether time was pause for the one who is trapped, a state of limbo but more painful. He looked around the walls of ice and said "This is not The Ether?"
He was remember why he returned it was Grogar. Grogar wanted to work together but he remember the others that where there. A changeling queen that had no hive name queen chrysalis 'I don't thing she will live long for Grogar's plan".
The other was Lord Tirek and some pegasus filly that stay with Tirek like she was a friend. 'She has no use in this'
Sombra think to him self. He never wanted to work with Grogar. But he remember Grogar Deal. "HE LIED!!!!"said Sombra in a violent rage like roar.
He remember when he returned to the Crystal Empire. So easy it was the Royal monarch's in a cage and the alicorn filly that was Cadence's daughter and that child question him. But he remember six ponies he remember that pink one saying "calvary is here" and he saw here the purple unicorn no she was an alicorn. Twilight was a princess.
He remember there fears but it was Twilight's he loved the most in that point he found out she was the further ruler of Equestria "So the Celestia and Luna are retiring?!?" said Sombra with a questioning look.
He remember is lose in the Empire but he had a victory by destroy the Tree of Harmony, and storming Canterlot an taking the throne. But a late he lost the six and they are the Elements of Harmony. Applejack is the element of honesty, Fluttershy is the element of kindness,Pinkie Pie is the element of laughter,Rainbow Dash is the element of loyalty, Rarity is the element of generosity, and then it was her Twilight Sparkle Is the Element of Magic.
The thought of Twilight was the only thing that made the king stop moving. "Her power, and Celestia is her teacher" but there was something else he was think about, Sombra could not stop thinking about Princess Twilight Sparkle. 'her purple mane, her fur, she loves magic, and she was so smart'. He stomp the ground to make him stop daydreaming and said "No you know what happens when you like another pony".

Sombra thought he heard someone said his name in a echo like vibrating sound he move to the sound in his shadow form. He found the source of the sound. It was another giant blood red crystal. it spoked to Sombra agian said."SomBra".
Sombra knew that voice he said "Mother". It was Rabia Mother of Sombra, she was speaking to him by the crystal,
Rabia said "How long has it been when we spoken?"
"Thousand year."Sombra said.
His mother hiss in hatred "WHAT IS TAKING YOU SO LONG!!!!!!"
Sombra felt fear it felt like it when he was a colt, he said to his mother in a fear like voice "F..forg..ive me Mom but I have been bandits for a thousand year and try three time to take the crystal empire. all had different ending".
As sombra was about to say how he almost had Equestria his mother said "YOU! Are! a! Failure!!"
Sombra eyes mostly green turn white "But Mom?" he said in sadness.
Rabia said angrily "YoU doN'T deserve your Powers". But Radia knew she can not take his power she said "I cant take them away". Then anger boiled within her she said "But I can say you are no King, Your no King of Shadows, You ARE Not OUR KinG of THe Umbrum and you are just like your Weak Father!!!!"
Sombra was heart broken, this was his mom saying this but it was the final work that made the king of shadows cry. "You Not even worth to be called MY SON!!" Said Rabia. Sombra cried and said "pllleeaassse..... Mommmmy..... Forgive me???"
The crystal faded from red to black and Sombra need what that mean she left him. Sombra cried harder "Wwwhyyy... mommmmyyy... whyyyyyyy.... hhhh!!??!!??!!"
Sombra's worst fear had come true. "I... ddd.. on't...wa...nnnt to be alloonee??" said Sombra.
He was alone and sad. He thought to him self 'Can any pony care about the king of shadows?' All he thought to himself was the days when he was a colt. The days with he was with his first friend Radient Hope, but he knew she was die, it's been a thousand years, and he knew he was truly alone.

(CH2) The Frozen North
It has been a month after Sombra's defeat. Life was good in Equestria but not all had good dreams. Princess Twilight has been having some weird dreams. They all had cold and winter climates. They where not all nightmare some where odd, they all had to do with Sombra. Some made here guilty because she never wanted to kill any pony. Some had Sombra crying in a cave that questioned her. Some had it where she was running in a icy maze and some thing that look like a pony but it had some of it's bones where expos, but Sombra was there but he protected her.
One of her dreams made here smile in her sleep, she saw Sombra and he said "are you alright Twilight" as he said that he punt his hoof on her shoulder.
Twilight said "Yes every thing alright when you are around". But Twilight did not say meet to say that it's like she watch it all like a vision.
Twilight was still questioning here dreams while walking in here castle's 'Why am I dreaming about him. I just don't know I need and answers. And why did i had one that I like him I don't even like him. I need..' "euf". She was about to say answer but she bumped Starlight. "O sorry Twilight did not see you?"
Twilight giggle a little. "No Starlight It's not your fault I was just thinking while not looking".
Starlight said "So what you thinking O let me gust your still worry about being the Princess of Equestria. I know I'm a little bit worry about running the school."
Twilight answers "No It is just these dreams I been having."
Starlight said."O are they connected."
"Yes and there all have something with Sombra?" Twilight said.
Starlight look at Twilight "is this like a nightmare or something"
"No not all of them Starlight, the nightmare make me guilty like I killed him. But most of them had Sombra in a cave, crying."
"Have you talked to Princess Luna about this?"
"Yes and she dose not know why. And Celestia doesn't not know but she and Luna say the same answer 'that some dreams can should the future', I just need an answer what you think I need to do?" Twilight look at Starlight.
"Well what I would go somewhere that was in your dreams." Starlight answer.
"Your a genus Starlight" Twilight hug her friend.
"Most of these dreams had something with cold weather and crystals. And there is only one place that has both."
Spike heard Twilight "What all of the excitement Twilight?"
Twilight look at Spike " I may found a way to answers all the dreams I have"
" Is it involve a trip to Canterlot and talking to Celestia."
Twilight said "Ya but also going to the source and that is not in Canterlot. It's at the Crystal Empire and the Frozen North"
Spike was shocked at was Twilight said " What!!, are you crazy no pony has explored the Frozen North, the temperature are so cold that no creature can fly. You would have to walk on hoof and there are so many canyons and caves you my even fall in one and and."
"Spike I know you are worry of me but i believe my brother can help" Twilight said to make Spike stop worry.
Twilight said "Spike can you please write a letter to Princess Celestia".
Spike got a quill and paper "Are you sure that these dreams about Sombra will go away if you go to the Frozen North"
"I think so and this would be a chance to document the Frozen North because read something that the Crystal Empire had settlements up the far north."Twilight said.
Twilight stated
"Dear Princess Celestia,
I think there is a way to get the answer of these dreams. Starlight Glimmer gave me an idea, she said that I should go somewhere that was in my dreams. And most of the thinks in my dreams is that they all has to involve with with cold weather, snow, ice, cave, canyons, and crystals. That all points to the Crystal Empire and the Frozen North. I know that its dangerous so I hope you can send a letter to My brother and my friend if they want to come with me. Sorry if I'm bothering u but I have to stop the dreams I can't think straight.

Princess Twilight Sparkle"
"Alright Spike you can send the letter" said Twilight. Spike burnt the letter and the ashes flew away to Canterlot and to be read by Princess Celestia. While they waited Twilight started a to talk to Starlight. "Hey Starlight how are you and Sunburst. I know u been writing to him because I notice in the mail that I have getting a lot of letter with his name."
Starlight was blushing when Twilight was do talking "O great I mean it's great".
"Is that it or do you like him" Twilight said.
"What why do you say that?" Starlight was kinda in a days all see can think was Sunburst.
"Your blushing and I am sure that your thinking about him". said Twilight.
Starlight sided "Ya I like him and I really with he lived in ponyville, I want to go out with him and he lives in the Crystal Empire. Ooo Twilight what should I do????"
"Calm down Starlight just seen him a letter and just say with in it you will like him to visit it ponyville and say you miss hang out with him" Twilight said.
"I think I can do that. Hey how are you and Flash Sentry." said Starlight.
Twilight was a little bit sad. "I don't know Starlight, I just don't know. When I saw him and I tried to talk to him, he just acted like he was just a normal conversation, but I still like him."
"Maybe he is scared of your brother I mean he is his boss you know and there is a code for ponies in a military role that they can not be in love with a Princess you know" said Starlight
"But my Brother was Captain and now he is Prince."Twilight said.
"Ya but your Brother is a High Rank so that gave he can do that. Plus I think it would be bad for your's and Flash's look in the general public and even worse for Flash if you to where dating all of Flash's friends would thing he was your" Starlight came to Twilight's ear and whispered 'special toy'." Starlight answer.
As Twilight sided in sadness and accepted it "I guess your right Starlight. It hard to date some pony when I am a Princess and future ruler of Equestria , but I'm not really mad I just see the facts he will find his marefriend in the Crystal Empire and that's better for him. I guess I got to wait for my or look for him."
"Don't worry Twilight.." But as Starlight was about to say the rest Spike burped the letter form Celestia. Spike grabbed it and said. "Its from Celestia!!"
Twilight was fill with excitement "Let me see".
"My Dear Twilight,
I know you want answers of your dreams and I know how is feels. I am glad that Starlight gave you advice about that you need to go. My sister and I was think and we are all right if you go to the Crystal Empire.I sent a letter to your brother and he is ok to help you. I have also sent letters to Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Apple Jack. They all are willing to help and they where worry about you about your dreams. I hope you get your answer because I do not want you to worry about this.

Princess Celestia".
Twilight said "Well looks like...".

"Girls" said Twilight "Your here".
Dash said "Ya when I read Princess Celestia's letter I smelled adventure"
"Really I didn't all I sell was the fresh smell of ink?!" said Pinkie.
"It is just a metaphor Pinkie. But Twilight this is some type of a weird thang you now, The Frozen North is the coldest place in Equestria" said Applejack

"Well I'm glad we can now use my scarves that I make for this, I made them match our colors and at the end of them have our cutie marks. But I'm in this it will be nice to go some where new" said Rarity.
"So you all in this girls?" Twilight Said.
"You bet right" Said all but Pinkie "This is like going to Yakyakistan, this will be easy, like that Cake Walk."
"Well I and more happy that every pony that is willing to go I know if you needed my help I would accept to help." said Twilight.
Starlight said "I guess I will run the school?"
"Ya that right your need to get use to that because that will make u less worry." Twilight smile.
The six said there byes and head to the train station.
Spike said as the main six left to the train station "Be carful!!!"

The main six arrived at the Crystal Empire they where greeted by Prince Shining Armor.
"Twily"
"Shinny" Twilight said.
She look around as she hug her brother. She notice that security was increase like Canterlot. Guards where at every corner
"This looks like the same way you did in Canterlot" said Dash.
Shining Armor got done with the hug to explain.
"That's right but different. I look up and old spell form the empire. Call glass eye, they will alert any guard that there is any thing bad in the area to go to the area." said Shining. "Now let get to the castle".
As they arrived the castle the Crystal Heart had dedicated guards they where know as the Heart Guard they where four crystal unicorn stallions, with armor that cover their all of there body and head. There job is to guard the Crystal Heart at all cost, even it means death. Twilight can sense that they had strong magic little bit like her brother's.
"Well those guards look strong" Rarity said.
"Those are the Heart Guards they are more brave than any of the guard" Shining Armor said.
As they got inside Princess Cadence was waiting for them
"Twilight"
"Cadence"
Cadence would wanted to do there special hoof shake because she had Flurry Heart. A she can do is a hug.
Twilight notice Flurry Heart "Hi Flurry"

Twilight was amazed how her niece "Wow she really good had speaking I remember you writing me that Cadence and hear her say auntie is so adorable!"
"I been trying my best Twilight" said Cadence "Now I know you are not only here for a little Family visit. I now what is wrong, and Shining Armor made made sure that there will be no problems. I will like to say bye when you on your adventures but I have so Royal Duties to do and make sure I keep an eye on Flurry. But its all was good to see you Twilight"
As Cadence hugged Twilight bye she walk here way to her Husband and gave him a kiss "Be safe".
"I will My Sweet" The Prince said
Cadence when to her throne room with Flurry. As she left Shining Armor said "Now lets go to the equipment room, our Frozen North Jacket's are in there."
As they walk in the room there was a red stallion elderly crystal earth pony with a white mane and tail. he had a mountain as his cutie mark. He notice them coming in. "So these are the six that wish to go and explore the Frozen North'
"Where jjjust doing this for Twilight she as problems in her dreams". said Fluttershy
"Aaa I see" said the old red pony "Name's Red Ruby Mount, best explore of the the crystal empire. Most ponies call me Ruby."
"Thank you Ruby for this I'm Princess Twilight."
"I see, so Miss Twilight so I know was you shy friend said and your brother said and your all in this to help her with a dream problem" said Ruby.
They all said "yes".
"So miss Twilight be for we get ready to hike tell me are all of the dream connected by area." Ruby said.
"Yes" said Twilight.
"And what is the one thing that is in them"
It was hard at first to say but she said the name that made all ponies skin move "King Sombra."
Ruby was shock of was she said he remember his defeated by the ponies standing in front of him "So it seems that you have guilty and you think u killed him".
"Why do u Think that " said Applejack
"O I remember the king when he was not a king. But right now we are in a rush we don't want the storm to come."said ruby.
When to and punt on there North Jacket.
"Hey how can i fly in this" said Dash.
"If you fly in the storm. You would be just a pony." said Ruby.
"whaaattt dose that mean" Fluttershy said
"It means u will have no wing because of the cold, some say this is the last place you can here Windigo!!"said Ruby.
"Really I those they die off" said Pinkie.
"They are spirits they don't need food. But we will be safe from them" Said Ruby
"Lets hope so" said Shining Armor.

The eight ponies where deep the the Frozen North. The storm was strong. There hike trail was to a ancient Crystal Empire settlement town was call Anchhoof the only north sea port city. They where half way there. they where near a canyon.c
Twilight said to Ruby "Why is the Anchhoof abandon?!" "can the empire do something to rebuild it".
Ruby said "The City is under snow and ice." "Plus the Long ago the Yak's Burn and pillage the city no pony once to go back its now a memorial now to remind us crystal ponies never trust Yaks!"
"THE Yaks did what!!!!!!" pinkie said and you can here here echo on how loud was.
Ruby stop and felt something
"Why did we stop" Shining said
The ground was made of ice just like that canyon.
"Run and follow me!!" "NOW!!" Ruby said.
The ground shake like and earthquake. The seven follow ruby to an area he knew was safe. As the ground shake Twilight's Left Back hoof was stuck
"HELLLPPP!!!"
They all said "Twilight!!!"
The ground rip open, she flew. Twilight was on the side of the canyon holding on a small ledge that was a couple feet way from here brother.
"Grab my hoof Twily!!!"
"SHinny!!!" Twilight was sliping. and she was crying.
Shining said "Do we have rope!!!!!"
Ruby said "Yes but its not long enough."
"Grab the rope Twily" said Shining Armor
Twilight tried and tried. Inches a way. But it made her grip worser "Im.... Try...!!".
"Don't give out Twily!!!!" now Shining Armor was about to cry.
She tried one last time to grab the rope. "BROTHER!!!"
"NNNOOOO!!!!!!"
As was expect Shining saw his Little sister fell in the blackness of the canyon
Shining not willing to give up stared at Ruby "IS THERE A WAY TO GET DOWN THERE"
Ruby look at the Prince "I know you want to find your sis and yes there is a way to get here a cave is the only way in and out and nothing dares enter."
"Hey Shining she strong and you now that" said Applejack.
As shining Armor tried to speak he was crying "I know.... It's just.. it is just.. I don't want to loose her!!!!"

As Twilight woke up her horn lighted magic to see, she look the area around it was dark and cold. The ground was ice and snow. The wind hold and her echo of her calling out her brother ring across the cave. She look up and saw the area she fell. It look like she had fell down five or ten miles down. She stand up and sat on her rump.
"Hello."
"Brother."
"Where am I?"
"Hello!!!. ANY PONY HEAR ME!!"
She only heard her echo, and she stated cry.
"I guess... this pit is to deep for any pony or thing to hear, and... I'm alone."
She try to put her self together to tell her self to stop crying.
"Keep it together Twilight. You can do this. Shining Armor and your friend won't give up there find you, they have Ruby he knows his way around this place."
As she felt good and then she heard something like somepony crying. She had to investigate.
‘It sounds like I’m not the only one who is down here. Maybe we can work together and get out’ she thought.
But as soon as she found the source of the crying she couldn’t believe what she saw.
“Sombra?”
The king look at who said that “ Stay away from me you freak!!!”
She saw Sombra charging his horn with dark magic and she ran. But he did not fire anything out. She stop and said something to herself ‘Only things he wanted was to see the crystal fair and he never saw it. Plus he made his only friend ran from him, and she as been die for a long time she was one of the founder of healing magic.’

"You could, but you are stupid enough to do that. And you will not. So go ahead play the monster, if you wish. I know, who you really are. You will not kill me, and the same with Amore"
Sombra thought to him self agian. ' She must know my journal. How else she near I did not kill the original princess of the Crystal Empire.'
As Sombra changed back to his pony form he said."So not only you found the crystal heart, but you read my journal."
"Yes, that's right how did you know that I found the heart." said Twilight.
"When you unlock my chamber I saw you and that dragon." The king said.

"How did you get a dragon"said Sombra.
"Well that's a long story, the same time I got my cutie mark in magic." said Twilight.
"So your like, The Princess of Magic?"said Sombra.

"So why are you crying?" said Twilight.

"So you explore the frozen north to do what, clear your head of your dreams alone?"Sombra said.
"No my brother, my five friends and a guide where with me. And it funny how I bumped in to you." said Twilight.

It was hard for Sombra to say it but he had to it is the only to build trust with Twilight, he knew that. "When I was down here I here something call my name... I... told her every thing I did for the past thousand years.. but.... but... she was angry of me.. and said that your not even worth to be call my... son... and I felt bad I did not wanted to get out of here so I stayed here. So that no pony would be hurt."
Twilight felt bad "What you did here, By not killing me says that you are no mindless monster. I'm sorry I wasn't there for thousand years ago, but I can help you".
"No you don't. I don't want to hurt another pony. You have the most prefect life. You have a loving family, You have great friends, a beautiful castle, a brother that would probably searching you right now, and your Alicorn Princess. All I am is the thing that parent's tell there children about, a monster. You probably have no sad story in your life"
As Sombra stop talking Twilight spoked in angry. "My life was not all prefect! I wasn't born as an alicorn! You have no right to tell me that!"
Twilight controlled her self and told her story when she was a filly. "When I was a filly love to read. My parents notice I love reading magic books, they had some book with magic but I when to the library more often. When I was getting to the school for gifted unicorns that when I got my cutie mark in magic, and became Princess Celestia's pupil. But at the school there where bullies, they knew what I like and they made fun of me, because I like books. And I never had really good friends at that age until I life in ponyville. But the days in at that school, I never had a friend the only one that knew me like a friend was Celestia, Spike, and my books."
She was done with her story and gave a question to Sombra "So let me help you. I can reform you like Discord. You don't have to use your magic for evil. I know it will take a long time for every pony to be nice to you but you have should me today that you can change."
But Sombra made so many excuses. "All they want is to kill me or put me chains. Celestia said that my heart is as black as night. And your brother will be glad I would be in chains or beheaded."
"You can't be sure of that" said Twilight

Twilight touch where his heart and Sombra said "What are you doing..."
"Your not evil. Your gentle, your nice and your not a monster. You need to show the ponies of Equestria that you can be a Good King." said Twilight.
She put her hoof down on the cold ground. "Now you know the why out let us find the way out. Together."
Sombra though to him self and then said "Can you give me a moment to think"
Twilight waited for him and said to herself 'I knew that work. He need to talk to some pony. he as not talk to any pony like this for a thousand years. And i think that help.'
As Sombra walk to his crown to pick it up, his mind was fighting something that wanted out.
'WHY do you think she is different. She is your enemy Remember!!!!! She is not what you think she is a student of Celestia.' the darkness said.
"She... speaks to me like a friend. And she is different." Sombra said.
'How dare you even think she will forgive you!! She is doing this for her brother'. The darkness said as it appeared to Sombra.
' You and I are the monster, do you think she is different as Hope was. She ran from you!!!! Because your a Monster remember'
"No. Hope did not run from me, I ran away from Hope. And will not do it the same to Twilight!"
The darkness disappear and Sombra saw Hope behind him. But it was Twilight "Sombra. Are you alright "
"Yes Hop... I mean Twilight. Yes let's get out of there."
As Twilight and Sombra walk to find the way out. He left his crown. By leaving his crown it shows that he was walk a new path.
(CH4) Judging for The Shadow
The storm of the north rage on. A mountain side of the Crystal Mountain with a cave was the only thing visible. There where a dozen crystal pony troopers looking around in the area.
"Keep searching!" said Shining Armor.
"Your Highness look" as the trooper said and pointed at something.
It was Twilight she was walking out of the cave.
Shining looked and he ran "Twily!!"
Twilight heard her brother's voice and ran to him. She was fill with so much joy to see him."SHINY!"
Shining Armor hug his little sister "I knew you would make it. I so happy to see you."
"Me too Shinny!" Said Twilight.
He Friends where there. "Twilight!!!"
"Girls." As Twilight ran to try to hug them, but they hug her.
"Never again Twilight. That was scary." said Rainbow Dash.
"I was worried you would be gone forever" said Fluttershy.
"I miss you Twilight..." said Pinkie Pie.
"Don't ye even dare do something like this. But I'm glad your in alright ." said AppleJack.
"I how you never have a dream about somewhere cold Twilight." said Rarity.
"I'm glad you all are here" said Twilight.
As they there done with the hug one of the guard saw something coming out of the cave. "Prince Shining Armor it look like something is coming out of the cave."
Shining Armor saw what was coming out he could not believe his own eyes "Twilight get behind me!"
Her Friends saw it to "It can't be?!?"
It was King Sombra. Shining Armor used his shield spells to protect him, Twilight and her friends. Crystal pony troopers stand near the shield.
"What are you doing here!" Shining Armor said in anger
Twilight looked at Sombra and Sombra remember what he must do. He promise to Twilight that he will follow the plan so he can be reform.
As he had is front hoofs in the air he said."I surrender, and I will like to be judge my fate to the Royal sisters of Equestria."
Shining Armor question the King of Shadows but he did not complain "O so you are surrendering . And you want to be judge by the The sisters."
Sombra said "Yes."
Lowering his shield Shining Armor gave a command to his troopers "Troopers chain him and put a restraining bolt on his horn."
The troopers spears turn in to a chainlike crystal rope and it grabbed on sombra hoofs, and neck. The restraining was on his horn. And they all started to walk back to the Crystal City.
"Wow he did not fight back. Twilight how did you not knew he was following you."said Rainbow Dash.
"I knew he was behind me" said Twilight.
"Then why is he here" said Rarity.
"Because he knew the way out" said Twilight.
"Why did you trust him" said AppleJack.
"Because he was in my dreams and it felt like that I can make him change" said Twilight.
"But.. he is no Discord. He is King... Sombra.... he is evil." said Futttershy.
"Nothing starts evil Futtershy. Let just get back to the city. We can talk more on the train." said Twilight.
Shining Armor went to talk to his sister "They are right you can't trust him. He enslave ponies, made the crystal ponies fear him, and ruled the Crystal Empire with an iron hoof."
"He can change big brother, why am I alive. He did not kill me." said Twilight.
"You don't know what he is thinking " said Shining.
All Sombra was thinking was to get out of the chains , and to remove the bolt so his horn and be reform. But that will mean that Twilight's Friends, and all who is importune around Twilight to trust him so others can do the same.

They made it out of the storm and got to the royal train station so no pony saw King Sombra and to put him it the special part of the train that more looks like a prism. But ponies saw Sombra was only the elite of the Crystal Empire. Twilight did see Flash Sentry but he was talking to a mare and he looks like he likes her. Twilight knew who that was Lighting Dust, and it made Twilight feel depressed inside and did not want to look sad. 'I gust there won't be any pony that will like me.'
Cadence was there and she was happy to see Twilight. "I so happy to see you, I can't believe you captured Sombra."
Twilight said "I did not captured him that was Shining's idea. Sombra just surrender. Plus I think he can be reform."
"Why do you say that" said Cadence.
"I found him crying. Like in my dreams." Twilight said
"I guess he can if your doing it you know a lot about him and you can do it" said Cadence.
"Thanks" said Twilight.
"Is something wrong." said Cadence.
"You can see it right there" Twilight pointed at Flash.
"O I see don't worry it is fine it's you had a crush on him and never told him about how you feel about him. Twilight there are better stallions out in Equestria that will respect you and will want to go out with you." Cadence said.
Twilight tried to smile "I guess your right Cadence, maybe I will if that special somepony."
"Now I have to go. You and your friends need to get to Canterlot." said Cadence.
Twilight gave a bye hug to Cadence "Goodbye Cadence."

As Twilight and her friends got on the train to head to Canterlot, Twilight sat down at on of the seats in the train. Her friends where with her. She still feel bad about Flash. as the train more out to Canterlot, Rarity notice something with Twilight.

"No your not fine you are depressed what's wrong" said Rarity.

"Your right AJ, I guess Twilight you got to move on. Across I have no clue what you are feeling I been with Soarin and I been talking to him. I guess you never talk to Flash he never saw how felt." said Rainbow Dash.
Twilight pull her self together. "I guess your right Dash. And thank you girls for being here for that."
"No problem" said Them at once.
But Sombra heard what was going on in the train car in front of him 'Poor Twilight'.

They arrived at Canterlot and made it to the Throne room. Celestia and Luna where waiting for this sine they got the letter from Cadence. Twilight's friends, Sombra and a few guards to watch Sombra. Twilight, Celestia and Luna have gone behind to thrones in to the back room to talk about Sombra.
"So are you sure Twilight that he can change." said Celestia.
"He didn't kill me, but he let me talk to him." said Twilight.
"There must be more than that" said Luna.
"Yes he was crying because his mother did not love him any more."said Twilight.
"I see it, I know you read his journal. Did he say it was true." said Celestia.
"Yes he did.", said Twilight.
"Twilight if you can reform him you will be a very wise leader." said Luna.
"Well let go." said Celestia.
As The three Princess walked out Celestia had a question to Sombra."I have one question Sombra. Why and how you can back."
Sombra said "Because of Grogar, he is trying to make some type of doom team with Queen Chrysalis and Lord Tirek and some pegasus filly that stay with Tirek like she was a friend, to kill Twilight Sparkle and her Friends."
"I see then, we need to double security and increase the army size." said Celestia.
"Who is this Grogar, He dose not sound like we face him." said Dash.
"He calm to be the Emperor of all he saw" said Sombra.
"Thank you Sombra For the information" said Luna.
"And now the your fate, We three have decided that you will be reform by Princess Twilight Sparkle and stay at her Castle. And we trust that you will not go back on us or else you will be behead." said Celestia.
"Guards release him!" said Celestia in the Royal Canterlot Voice.
He felt glad he was not chained and the bolt was off his horn. "Thank you Princess I will not fail you."

(CH5) The Shadow's Dream
The time was 7:00pm the sun was about to set. Twilight , her friends and Sombra had arrived at ponyville, luckily no pony saw Sombra. They made it inside Twilight's Castle and all five a Twilight's friends said there byes so they can hit the hay, they where tier becomes they did ate diner at Canterlot and that adventure in the north.
"Well See ya Twilight" said Rainbow Dash.
"Bye Dash" said Twilight.
Dash i did look as Sombra and said "Don't you dare, do anything bad!" And flew off.
"I guess Dash doesn't Trust him. Just like Discord." "Well I should go, Angel bunny is problem mad that I'm not there and maybe I can help you Twilight with Sombra's reforming" said Fluttershy.
"Thanks Fluttershy." said Twilight.
"See ya later Twilight" said Pinkie.

As Pinkie Pie left see looked at Sombra and said " I got my eye 'puts her hoof in her eye and points at sombra' on you."

"I never heard that spell before" said Twilight.

"O that, I did not know how can I not find the spell in my collection." said Twilight.
"I believe that it maybe a restricted spell. Like dark magic." said Sombra.
Starlight headed to her room and spike the same "Night Twilight" They said.
"Night" said Twilight.
As Twilight and Sombra arrive to one of the guest room that Twilight should it was his guest room. It was near Twilight's Room.
Sombra enter his room and said. "Good Night Princess."

It has been a thousand years since Sombra heard that from a pony " Thank you, Twilight".
Twilight walk out Sombra's room and said "Good night Sombra".
As the door closed Sombra lay down on the bed and he was so happy 'I knew she was different.' and he fell asleep.

And Sombra was dreaming. He saw the flag of Equestria, It look different but it was dark blue with something it was to blurry, and he was no alone. He heard a Mare's voice behind "Is everything alright honey dear."
He woke up and he did not get a chance to see that mare in his dream.
(CH6) The Heart Inside of The Shadow
It has been a week after Sombra's reform. Celestia has said to all of Equestria that Sombra is no threat to Equestria and he does not want to be call King Sombra just Sombra. The reason he did not want to be call a king was he had not land to rule.
It was 6:30 in Ponyville. The leaves where a brown and orange color. It was almost winter as it got colder. As Sombra woke up from his bed in the room that Twilight gave him. As he did not have a place to call home. Twilight allow Sombra to stay if he wish, but he did accepted the offer as he felt better when he was with Twilight. As Sombra got ready to he exit his room, at the same time Twilight exit her room.
Twilight smile and said "Good Morning Sombra."
Sombra smile and said "Good Morning Twilight."
They made there way to the Dining hall. Spike was making pancake. Sombra had some black coffee. As they got done eating there breakfasts, Sombra had notice that he really liked Twilight. She was smart, nice, a pony that will listen to him if he had any problems, and she love reading just like him.
A few hours later it was 10:30 am he notice that Twilight was packing something, like she was going somewhere. He when to go and see. "What are you packing for." He said in a nice tone.
"O I'm going to the Castle of The Two Sisters want to join" said Twilight.
"Sure. And I guess that you are packing like lunch" said Sombra.
"Ya.. That's right" said Twilight.
Twilight was so happy that Sombra was coming with her to the Castle of the Two Sisters. She wanted to say I likes you, but this may be that chance that see may get.

As they walk in the Everfree, Sombra really like looking at Twilight 'She is so prefect, and pretty' he said to himself.'Why do I like her. There has to be more about why I like her? Is she the one.'
Sombra was day dreaming until they made it to the Castle's entrance. As they got to the Castle of the Two Sister, Sombra notice the pink like crystal tree house that was at the entrance. "What I that thing."
"Thats the Tree of Harmony, It was replanted by six creatures that when to my school that I ran and they can talk to the Tree of Harmony" said Twilight.
"So it evolved, Right" said Sombra.
"Ya, lets get in side the castle Its getting cold" said Twilight.
Sombra was amazed at the castle old. The old throne room, and the old design. "This castle is indeed O thousand years old."
"Ya come on lets go to the library part of the castle. I was hoping to find some ancient spells that been lost." said Twilight.
Sombra follow, but he notice something in one of the rooms. "Is that a organ."
He walked in the room. The golden giant organ with crescent moons on it. Twilight followed him and said "Ya that is Luna's Organ. In the Two sisters diary that I found in this castle, Its said that it can activate trap doors."
"You know I like playing the organ. The sound and everything that sets the mood when played" said Sombra.
He sat on the seat "Maybe it still works."
Twilight sat be side him and he notice. As he played it was like he was a master of play the organ. He used his magic to play it. Twilight was blushing as he played. He stop and looked at Twilight with a smile "still got it."
He notice that Twilight was blushing and said "Of course you do."
She smiled. Sombra knew what was in her mind. He was hoping he guess right 'She really like's me' he said to him self.
Twilight put her right front hoof around Sombra's left front hoof and said "Sombra I have to ask you something."
It was hard to get the words out for Sombra "What.. isss.. it Twi..light?"
She was trying to say it be it was soft "Do you like me."
Sombra heard that had he said "Ya I like you, before you said that I liked you when you said you where like a friend." Sombra pause and said the part he wanted to say "So are you saying you want me to be your coltfriend."
"Ya, that's right. And I'm your marefriend." Twilight said.
As she got closer to her coltfriend there tails wrapped together. As they face each other they slowly got closer and kiss.
Twilight loved it then he kiss her on the lips. It was a little deep kiss but it was good. Sombra felt his heart racing the loved of her smoove lips on his lips.
As Sombra heard his stomach roaring and pull back from Twilight and Twilight heard it "Looks like its lunch time. I am hungry." said Twilight.
"Ya me to Twi" said Sombra.
She blushed when he said Twi.

They had lunch and left the castle. As they where walk together side to side. She then worried about what will her friends say. She looked at Sombra and said "Somby what am I going to do if my friends find out."
Sombra stop and she did to and they are still in the Everfree. he said "I know that Pinkie, Rarity, Fluttershy, Spike, and Starlight would be ok. I don't know about AppleJack. And Rainbow will want to punch me." He pause and remember her Brother. "O flip, your brother would kill me!".
"I know if Cadence would be fine if she knew we where in love. But I don't know about Celestia and Luna. But my Parents will be fine if you are nice, with you are." said Twilight.
Sombra gave her a loving like hug and said "I know this is like your first relationship, and it' my first. I never had dated Hope before but I think we will do fine."
"Thank you Somby" as she kiss him on the side of his face.

As they got back to Twilight castle, It was getting colder. Sombra open the door with is magic "Mare first."
"Thank you" she smiled.
Spike say them came in and ran to them "So where have you two been."
Starlight was in there area and said "Ya where have you been too" she smiled.
Sombra was blushing and Twilight said "O The Castle of the Two Sisters."
Spike said "Did you find any books."
"No" said Twilight trying not to blush.
"Whats wrong Twilight" said Starlight.
"Ya what's wrong Twilight you know you can trust us" said Spike.
Twilight said "Will if you didn't get angry. Sombra found the Organ and I sat beside him and he was playing it and he is really good at it right."
Sombra said "Ya."
"And" said Spike.
Twilight had to say it she did not want to lie in front of them." And I got closer to Sombra when he was done playing it and I said it."
"Said what?" said Starlight.
"I said Do you like me and he said Ya I like you" Twilight said.
Spike was shock at what he heard "Are you to in a relationship now!"
"We did kiss remember Twi" said Sombra.
Twilight started to blush she loved that.
Starlight was happy. She was ok with Sombra and he was Twilight coltfriend. She remember when Twilight said to her what Flash did. "She you found your special somepony".
"Ya at less you two have the same thing you like" said Spike.
Twilight and Sombra felt glad that they where not mad. "Thanks" Twilight said.
