Yo-Kai Watch?/ The Spooky Street

Crystal was walking in the park one bright sunny day. "Hmm.. wonder what crazy thing I'll discover this time." she said to herself. Her eyes soon came upon a large tree in the middle of the clearing. The tree had a strange rope with zig zag papers tied around it in way that looked like a belt, but this wasn't what caught Crystal's attention. At the base of the tree sitting on small rock, stood an ancient looking capsule machine with stone capsules inside.

Walking closer to the tree, Crystal took a closer at capsule machine. "That's weird, what's a capsule machine doing in the park?"

A sudden voice came out of nowhere.

Feed me.... Feed me....

"What the.... wh.... who said that!?" Crystal exclaimed stuttering.

Feed me.... Feed me.... the voice said again.

Crystal looked around frantically. "Mal! Hiro! If this a prank, then it's not funny! Quit freaking me out!" she yelled angrily. The voice soon repeated and sung louder each time.

Feed me! Feed me! I'm sorry hungry I need to eat! The voice sung.

Crystal looked at the machine again. "Does that machine want me to feed a coin?" Taking out a coin out from the remaining money she had, Crystal slowly approached the machine and inserted the bit coin before turning the handle. One of the stone capsules rolled out of the machine and he picked it up. Looking at it curiously, Crystal slowly began to twist the sides in an attempt to open it. There was a loud pop and bright lights as Crystal finally opened it.

Looking up, he noticed bright blue moving in a swirl and a creature inside suddenly turned in Crystal's direction before bringing out a giant toothy grin. The blue ring dissipated and revealing the creature's full form. He looked like a cartoony ghost. The creature then suddenly introduced himself. "Greetings my women companion friend! I am Whisper!" And bowed. "At your service!"

"Uh... I'm Crystal Diamond" Crystal introduced himself still dumbfounded. Of all the things she was expecting, this was definitely not one of them.

"Greetings Crystal! I am Yo-Kai, that thing you ponies and dragons would call a ghost, spirit, or an extra dimensional being!"

"Yo-kai? I've never heard of it." Crystal stated.

Whisper stared at him briefly before saying "Seriously?" Before continuing.

"The Yo-Kai are mysterious beings that cause strange phenomenon. I know I know, so why was I in the spooky capsule machine?" Whisper said, suddenly changing subjects. "It was a hundred and ninety years ago when some self-righteous monster claimed me a menace to society and locked me in the machine."

"Wait, they had capsule machines back then?" Crystal questioned.

"Never mind the details detective. I mean, who knew monks had such a sense of humor? What is important is that you have managed to set me freeeeeeee!" Whisper yelled as he flew high in the sky before quickly coming down again and started rambling again. "And now you and I have entered into a sacred bond. I mean do you know how cramped it was in that capsule?"

During Whispers rant, Crystal thought to herself. "Okay so I found a Yo-Kai butler in this spooky capsule. Wonder how Iris and the gang will react?

"Okay, um Whisper." Crystal called, cutting off Whispers' rants. "Somehow you were surprisingly helpful in there, so you can come live with me." Crystal gracefully said.

"Oh boy! I can't wait to see what my new home looks like!" Whisper excitedly exclaimed.

"Yeah... wonder how my friends will react to you.

A few minutes later, they arrived near Iris' castle where Iris and her friends were. "Hey Crystal." Iris greeted.

"How was your walk?" Akari asked as she and the others came over.

"Well... it was very interesting." Crystal said, rocking back ad forth.

"Interesting how?" Hiro asked. That's when Whisper appeared by her side. "Ah, are these the friends you told me about?" he asked. Iris and the others gaped at Whisper. "Sweet Mother of Raava!" Iris exclaimed.

"What are you suppose to be?" Hiro asked.

"He's a Yo-Kai, a spiritual being." Crystal stated. "And he's my butler now."

"Butler?" Mal questioned getting a nod from Crystal.

"Woah, wait until Mom and Dad hear this." Iris said.

"And all the others." Akari added. The six of them entered the castle. "Mom, Dad, we're back!" Iris called. Soon the six of them heard voices coming from he main conference room which sounded suspiciously like shouting. Peaking through the door, he saw that Twilight and Flash were arguing.

"How could you be so irresponsible!?" Twilight yelled. Flash shouted back. "It's just bent page! It's not like I tore the entire book apart!" Twilight yelled back. "Well excuse me that I'm trying to preserve a perfectly good book!"

"They're arguing over a bent page? I know Mom loves books, but she wouldn't go nuts over something that petty." Akari stated confused by the subject of the argument. Whisper took a another look through the door and examined the scene. "Hmm. Aha! I knew it was her. A Yo-Kai is making your friends fight."

The Guardians of Harmony looked back in the room confused. "Really?" Crystal looked into the room looking around and seeing nothing. "Where? The only one's in there are Twilight and Flash."

Whisper quickly answered this questioned. "Of course you can't see her, not without this." Whisper pulled out a strange blue and green watch with big bubble on top of clock face. Crystal grabbed it to get a better look at it and noted that the clock had four different colors on it which were light blue, light green, light pink, and light purple respectively. She also noticed the watch had a green flame pattern on the straps.

"What is that thing?" Gallent questioned.

Whisper happily answered. "It's the Yo-Kai Watch!"

"What's a Yo-Kai Watch?" Iris asked. Whisper continued explaining. "It allows you to see the Yo-Kai, you can stop your friends from fighting if you put it on."

"Well go on." Whisper insisted. Crystal slowly slipped the watch over his left wrist. "Press the button on the right." Whisper instructed. Crystal did so and the bubble on the top opened and started showing a blue spotlight coming from it. "Whoa! The bubble popped open!" Hiro said amazed.

"That's no bubble my friend! That is a Yo-Kai lens." Whisper corrected.

Aiming the blue spotlight at Whisper, Whisper quickly instructed. "Not at me, point it at your friends." Crystal nodded and pointed the watch at Twilight and Flash, who were still arguing. He soon found a large black silhouette standing behind the arguing mares. The light eventually revealed the Yo-Kai's full form which looked like a giant living ball of purple slime and Spike could only tell it was female because of a bow in it's slime like hair.

"Sweet Mother of Raava!" Akari exclaimed. "What is that thing!?" Whisper pulled out a strange flat device and shifted through it. "Dismerelda, it's a Yo-Kai who creates tension wherever she goes. She makes the atmosphere for everyone in the room unpleasant and tense, causing conflict and discord."

Whisper elaborated further. "This is a very a common scenario for Yo-Kai to create. We like to call it "fighting about nothing." The worst case being your friends will fight forever." Akari was shocked by this. "What!?"

"Your impossible Flash!" Twilight shouted.

"Fine then, I'll just go!" Flash yelled.

"Fine!"

"Fine!"

Both said at the same time to Akari horror. "Oh no! I don't want them to get a divorce!"

Whisper continued his explanation. "Yo-kai are everywhere, you just can't see them. But they influence ponies and dragons in all sorts of mysterious ways."

"I understand that, but how do we get this one to leave?" Crystal asked, no longer wanting to see the two like this.

Whisper presented the solution. "The only way to get a Yo-Kai to leave is through negotiation or confrontation."

Iris spoke again. "Well then go talk to her, your the Yo-Kai here." Whisper bowed again. "Done and done. I'll solve this problem quickly and gracefully!" Whisper said confidently as he flew into the room and up to Dismerelda.

"Hey... Whisper here, would you mind getting your big blubby butt out this castle and never come back?" Whisper asked rather bluntly.

"Now that is rude." Nori claimed, feeling insulted for Dismerelda. Dismerelda simply sighed and said "No."

Backing his way to entrance, he said. "Well I tried everything but negotiations have broken down." The Guardians sweat dropped and simply deadpanned at him before Iris said, "How was any of that graceful? You know what? Let me try talking to her, maybe I could try reasoning with her." Whisper looked at him again. "You?" He questioned.

Iris simply ignored him and walked up to Dismerelda. "Excuse me, miss Dismerelda, could please leave my friends alone? I hate seeing them fight like this, especially over something so petty." Iris asked politely.

She sighed again. "I'm sorry to be such a downer, but I didn't have anywhere else to go, no filter." Spike spoke again. "What does that mean? Please, if there's something wrong then you can tell me." Iris offered kindly.

Dismerelda noticed the kind look on the young girls' face, she decided to confess. "Alright, the truth is I had a fight with my husband and I stormed off in a huff.

Iris and the others were extremely surprised. "Really!? So Yo-Kai have silly disputes too?" Hiro questioned, earning a smack on the head from his younger sister. Dismerelda sighed once more. "There's no dispute, he doesn't love me anymore."

Akari gave her a sympathetic look. "What makes you think that? I mean Twilight and her friends fight sometimes but they still care about each other. I'm sure you two can make up if you just talk to each other." she gave her a reassuring smile upon finishing.

"Even if I wanted to, I don't where he is." She said as she looked sadly.

"Found him!" Whisper suddenly exclaimed. "Really? Wow that was fast." Spike said amazed.

Suddenly a giant yellow cloud creature came through the door with green hair with a flower sticking out of it and wore a huge smile on his face.

"Dis! Dis baby, I'm so sorry we had to fight!" The being apologized. The Guardians looked at him dumb founded. "I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say that's her husband?" Whisper nodded. "That's right, meet Happiere, a cheerful Yo-kai who emanates warmth and comfort." He explained.

Happiere's aura started spreading around the room that soon washed over the arguing mares. Whisper elaborated further. "Dismerelda, who makes everything dark and dreary, is married to Happiere, who makes everything bright and happy. The two cancel each other out and create normalcy."

Both girls looked at each other with regretful looks on their faces before moving closer to each other. "Sorry Flash... I over reacted over something as silly as bent page." Her husband apologized. "And I'm sorry for not taking better care of something you own." The two of them happily accepted each other's apologies much to Akari's relief. "Whew, that was a close one."

"Let's go home my sweet cakes." Happiere said in a sweet tone to his wife. Dismerelda nodded in agreement before adding. "Let's get out of here. This place is so depressing, no filter." She said as the couple walked through the door.

Later that night after dinner, The Guardians introduced Korra, Mako Ali, Mika, San and the others to Whisper in the throne room. "So Yo-Kai are real huh?" Korra mused.

Whisper nodded. "Fraid so. You see the Yo-Kai live in a dimension parallel to the pony world. But they often come to your world to cause trouble like they did today." Whisper informed.

The thing is, no pony can see them but you all."

"I still can't believe it!" Mako said.

Whisper nodded. "No need to worry! I, Crystal's trusty butler, shall make sure you are well takin care of and help in anyway I can." He promised.

Hiro stared at him. "Uh.... no offense Whisper, but you really weren't much help back there.... " Spike said bluntly.

Whisper floated there flabbergasted by the response before spontaneously defending himself. "Hey! Who gave Crystal the Yo-Kai Watch allowing you to see the Yo-Kai around you all?! Oh and uh P.S., you can't ever take it off." Whisper suddenly chuckled in a creepy tone. "Whatever happens from now on, I can guarantee you that your life will never be quite the same again." Whisper promised flashing a small grin.

"Our lives are never the same here." Mal deadapnned.

Crystal gulped before looking at the Yo-Kai Watch on his left wrist. Yo-Kai Watch? What have I gotten myself into?

The Spooky Street

The Guardians of Harmony were at a Harmony City intersection. "Whisper did you hear? Near misses have been occuring here way more than usual." Crystal asked.

"Near misses?" Whisper asked.

"You know vehicles almost hitting people but then stopping just in time. That's why it's called a Near Miss." Gallent explained.

"Well shouldn't it be called a Near Hit? This had got to be the work of a Yo-Kai. A truly nefarious one must be inspiriting this intersection." Whisper claimed.

"Inspiriting?" Iris asked.

"Oh yes. It happens all the time. Inspiriting occurs when a Yo-Kai refuses to leave it's place of demise because they can no longer accept the fact that they are no longer alive." Whisper explained.

"Maybe we should just download the audio book." Chi said. Whisper sweat dropped, "Whaatt?"

Looking over Whispers shoulder, she noticed he was looking at a page that read. "The Yo-Kai wiki? Isn't that cheating?"

"What!? No, it's just for reference!" Whisper said attempting to defend himself. The Guardians sweat dropped, "Right...." Crystal said unconvinced.

"Nevermind that now Crystal use the Yo-Kai watch to illuminate the Yo-kai hiding in the darkness with the Yo-Kai watch." Whisper ordered. Crystal nodded and began shining the light the light around the area. "Hmm, I'm not seeing anything yet."

"Keep searching, the Yo-Kai won't be seen unless it is hit directly by the light." Whisper informed.

Crystal continued until the light finally spotted two small but menacing looking silhouettes across the street from where he was standing.

The Guardians gasped. "There it is! That must be the vile monsters!" Whisper shouted in fear. The Yo-Kai started to growl fiercely, causing the duo to back away in fear.

The creatures suddenly started meowing and it's full form finally revealed.... an adorable looking cat Yo-kai with yellow sash like belt and had two tails with two light blue flames on the end of both of them? And a pink cat that was wearing a sailor's suit The Yo-Kai did a back flip and yelled. "Jibanyan!" "Sailornyan!"

"Uh...." The Guardians and Whisper muttered dumbfounded.

"Jibanyan, can't we go and get something to eat, please?" Sailornyan asked rubbing her growling stomach.

"Sorry Sailornyan, we're not leaving until I defeat a truck." Jibanyan stated. Sailornyan groaned and her stomach growling again.

"Those two are the vile monsters?" Hiro sarcastically questioned. "Uh... yes, they are Sailornyan and Jibanyan of the Charming tribe." Whisper informed, doing a very poor job at hiding the fact that he was looking it up on his Yo-Kai Pad.

A bender walked up next to Jibanyan, gaining the attention of cat Yo-Kai, who then proceeded to posses the stallion. "Meow!" The inspirited bender yelled out loud.

"What's going on!?" Mal asked panicking.

"He's been inspirited!" Whisper informed also panicked.

The inspired began walking out in the middle of the crosswalk, meowing all the way, into the path of a fast approaching wagon. "Look out!" Iris called out and Whisper screamed. At the last moment, Jibanyan jumped out the benders' body and faced the approaching wagon, yelling. "Take this stupid wagon! Paws of Fury!" He followed by sending multiple punches at the wagon... only to get launched into the sky by the wagon. Sailornyan sighed and walked to the other side of the road.

The person driving the wagon barely managed to stop himself from the other one. "You idiot!" He yelled angrily at the confused bender. "My legs moved on their own!" The bender shouted back.

Meanwhile, the Guardians sighed in relief. "Whew.... that was too close." Iris muttered. "Hmm that explains all these near missed. Looks like Jibanyan has been possessing people and walking into traffic." Whisper summarized.

"And he's been doing that for a while." Sailornyan stated to herself.

"What? Can't we stop him?" Akari asked.

"Negotiation or confrontation." Whisper reminded him.

Right at that moment, Jibanyan came crashing down into the ground next them. Picking himself up like it was nothing, he began to walk away before realizing he wasn't alone and looked back behind noticing Crystal, the Guardians and Whisper looking. "Meow?" He said curiously.

"Meow to you." Whisper greeted.

"Meow!" Jibanyan and Sailornyan shouted in surprise. "Can you guys actually see us!?"

"Uh.. sorta." Akari stated.

Sailornyan and Jibanyan shouted in surprise again. "How is that possible!?" Jibanyan ran up to them, "Do you know little Amy!?"

"Who?" Akari asked.

"Nyo Nyo nyo! I'm not ready nyet!" Jibanyan shouted in panic. "Help is available if you have any questions once or ever." Whisper said and pointed to the gang. "From these guys."

"Dude, what the-?" Hiro exclaimed before Whisper flew up to his ear fin. "We got to stop these near misses somehow right?"

"Yeah." Iris sighed.

"Right.... so Jibanyan, why are you doing this anyway?" Iris asked.

Meow.. when I was alive my owner, Amy, took care of me and loved me. My nyame is Jibanyan nyow but back then I had another nyame...."

"Don't leave us hanging." Hiro said.

"It was perfectly suited for my wonderful purrsonality." Jibanyan stated.

"And the name was?" Whisper asked.

"I forgot!" Jibanyan exclaimed.

"You forgot you're own name?!" Akari exclaimed.

"We used to sleep in bed, on the couch, under the table. Oh we were so happy back then." Jibanyan explained.

Mal sweat dropped, "All you did was sleep."

"Well he is a cat." Crystal stated.

"But then one day...." He continued. "I walked down this crosswalk when a wagon came and ran me over. There wasn't any pain, and then I became a Yo-Kai. And that's when heard Amy say...."

I can't believe you let yourself get hit by a wagon.... 3.... 2.... 1.... You lame cat.

Rewind《《《 3.... 2.... 1.... lame cat.... lame cat.... lame cat....

"Ahhhhh!" They all screamed at once. "What a heartless monster!" Whisper shouted.

"No! No she isn't! Amy loves me. She must have had a good reason to say that...."

"Well... that seems extremely unlikely." Gallent said.

"Well one thing I know for sure, Amy wouldn't have said that if I didn't get hit by a wagon! That's why I train myself everyday to become a cat who can beat any wagon out there!" Jibanyan said with tears in her eyes.

"But you can't go around inspiriting people, it's dangerous." Crystal stated.

"Hmm.. I never thought about that." Jibanyan said. Everyone fell down and Sailornyan sighed, "As always."

"I'll just do it all by myself." Jibanyan said and he ran out in the street... only to get hit by a wagon and launched into the sky. "Oh man!" Crystal exclaimed.

"Car One Cat Zero." Mal stated. Jibanyan walked back with a bump on his head and a bandage on his cheek and scratches. "Okay, that didn't go quite as planned. I think I need to stretch first." Jibanyan began to stretch.

"It is important to stretch before getting his by a wagon." Whisper said. Crystal and the others sweat dropped, "No it's not." Nori said.

"Okay, I think I got it this time." Jibanyan leaped into the street again. "Eye of the tiger!" and he got hit by another wagon and launched into the air again.

"Man, there are a lot of wagons here today." Crystal muttered.

"What was he blabbering all about before the truck creamed him?" Hiro asked.

"Eye of the tiger." Jibanyan said coming towards us with another bump on his head and walking with a crutch. "It's a well known phrase in the Near Miss Industry."

"Wait there's an industry for that?" Akari asked

"I don't think so." Whisper said. Jibanyan miraculous healed himself and said, "Once more onto the brink!" he leaped into the street. "You will not defeat me!" a wagon was coming. "Paws of Fury!" he unleashed a barrage of punched on the wagon, stopping it for a second before he broke his paw on it, crying in pain and then getting launched into the air again. "Oh dear." Gallent sighed.

"See it doesn't work if I do it by myself." Jibanyan sighed.

"Gee, I wonder why you can't stop wagons all by yourself." Whisper said.

"Because I'm too lonely. I'm so lonely all the time that when I'm with someone else I don't feel afraid that's why I inspirit people." Jibanyan said.

"What about Sailornyan?" Mal reminded.

"I just stand here while he does this." Sailornyan stated. Jibanyan now had tears in his eyes. "Sorry to be such a trouble maker. I guess I'll just be alone forever!" he began to run away. "Wait, Jibanyan!"

Jibanyan stopped, "If you want to I'll be happy to help you train." Crystal offered.

"Are you sure?" Whisper asked.

"Why would you do that?" Jibanyan asked.

"Because I can tell you really love Amy and I wanna help you become stronger." Crystal said. Jibanyan started to cry in happiness and he glowed blue and small medal with his picture on it came out and landed in Crystal's hands.

"What's that?" Iris asked.

"A Yo-Kai Medal. It's a symbol of your friendship with a Yo-Kai." Whisper explained.

"We're friends nyow. Friends forever!" Jibanyan stated.

The Guardians nodded and giggled. "So what's your deal Sailornyan?" Hiro suddenly asked the sailor cat.

"Oh me, well... I kinda... passed away from hunger in the streets. Hehehe." Sailornyan stated.

"Aww you poor thing." Gallent whimpered. Sailronyan's stomach growled again and she rubbed it. "Come on, let's get you something to eat." Crystal added. Sailornyan nodded and she glowed a her medal came out and landed in Crystal's hands.

"Woah.. thanks Sailornyan." she thanked.

"Nyow problem." Sailornyan said. "Now can we get something to eat? I'm starving."

Akari giggled, "Come on you cats, let's go." The Guardians and Crystal guided Sailornyan and Jibanyan to get something to eat.
