The big day has finally arrived and Turquoise was looking nervous like most brides do on their special day. Turquoise heard a knock on her door and Ruby came in.

“ Are you excited Turquoise?” Ruby asked.

“ To be honest I feel like I have butterflies in my stomach,” Turquoise replied.

“ I felt the same way when I married your father only much worse since I had to handle the icy stare of your grandfather,” Ruby said while reminiscing her wedding. While they were talking Bullet came in to tell them the rest of the family on their side has arrived. Turquoise left her room and as soon as she entered the Foyer Rusty along with a white boy and blue girl both around the same age as Turquoise were there.

“ How are you feeling cushion?” The boy asked.

“ To be honest Chris as nervous as most brides are on a day like this,” Turquoise replied.

“ That’s normal, To be honest when dad said you became a full woman we thought he meant like a weakling, not a sexy vixen most boys would line up to date in a heartbeat,” The girl said.

“ Well Fawn It hasn’t been easy but I survived,” Turquoise said.

“ In any case, Turquoise and I need to head down to the venue Minako has something for Turquoise and I’m sure you all know what it is,” Ruby said.

Minutes later Turquoise and Ruby arrived in front of Haruka’s estate and noticed a bunch of people she hasn’t met before and assumed they must be Haruka’s relatives. Minako gestured for Turquoise to follow her to the room she set up for Turquoise to get changed in. As soon as Turquoise and Ruby were inside Minako closed the door so no one would see Turquoise.

“ This was my grandma’s wedding kimono and then my mom’s and then mine and now I pass it on to you Turquoise, I was hoping to pass it on to Haruka but my daughter in law is just as good too,” Minako said referring to the white kimono that was on the mannequin.

“ I will take good care of it,” Turquoise said.

“ I know you will and I know Haruka is in good hands,” Minako said. Ruby had Turquoise strip so Minako could help her with the kimono. After Minako finished with the kimono she and Ruby styled Turquoise’s long red hair into a traditional Japanese bridal style before putting the headdress on her. After her makeup was done Turquoise wanted to head out and see how Haruka was doing until Minako and Ruby stopped her.

“ You can,t leave this room yet we still need to set things up,” Ruby said.

“ Also no one especially the groom is allowed to see the bride in her wedding dress until the ceremony starts,” Minako said.

“ So how long till the ceremony?” Turquoise asked.

“ If we time it right about five hours,” Ruby said to Turquoise’s annoyance.

Meanwhile, in the courtyard leading to the Goldenburn Family Shrine, the groundskeeper was sweeping away the green summer leaves on the path while Sapphire and the rest of the bridesmaids were discussing their plans for after the wedding.

“ Sapphire, Amber, Disty? What do three plan to do now that high school is over?” Lemon asked.

“ I will be at Mali University and Pettilite will be living with me since it would not feel right to leave her all by herself especially with Rarity traveling abroad,” Sapphire said.

“ As for us, we will go wherever Sapphire goes since we are gal pals forever,” Amber said.

“ Do you think Turquoise will be sad to see us leave?” Alex asked.

“ Of course she will but that’s why she chose all of us specifically to be her bridesmaids because she wants to create one last memory with all of us together,” Sunny said.

“ I heard she is going to one of the most elite colleges in the country to earn her business degree and she is scared of losing herself,” Sugarcoat said.

“ There is no way that will happen Haruka will be there to make sure of it,” Sour said.

“ Yeah, Haruka’s strength and Turquoise’s kindness balance each other so there is nothing to worry about,” Indigo said.

“ That’s just it in the world of business there is no room for kindness or compassion its survival of the fittest,” Shimmy said.

“ How do you know that?” Light Hoof asked.

“ My father used to be a businessman until he got sacked as part of a company downsizing,” Shimmy said.

“ Well, you girls have nothing to worry about Turquoise once said when we were kids that she would treat Silver Corp like her family,” Fawn said.

“ Do you think she will keep that promise?” Lemon asked.

“ I know she will now I believe Ruby said your dresses are done being tailored,” Fawn said prompting the girls to follow her. Minutes later all the girls came out wearing long aquamarine dresses. As soon as the ground was cleared of leaves and everything was set up the sun was about to set on the horizon creating an orange sky contrasting behind the shrine meaning it was time to begin. When Turquoise entered the Courtyard everyone was in sheer awe at her beauty. After taking her spot next to Haruka who was dressed in a female version of what the groom wears in a Japanese wedding they were led up the stairs to the shrine as the sky began to darken. As soon as everyone took their seats and Turquoise and Haruka stood before each other the priest began chanting his blessing to the gods.

“ May the gods shine upon this holy union,” The priest said. The priest then began pouring something into three special cups.

“ As per customs the bride and groom each take three sips from each of these cups along with their parents, Normally this is done with sake but since the two of you are underage we are going with Amazake which is a non-alcoholic substitute,” Toshiro said. After taking the first sip Turquoise savored the sweet and milky flavor as did the others. Once they finished taking sips the main part everyone was waiting for began with the blood moon about to rise.

“ Dearly beloved we are gathered here tonight to bere witness to the union of Lady Turquoise and Lady Haruka in holy matrimony. If anyone should object to this union speak now or forever hold your peace,” The priest said before Haruka’s little cousin brought the rings. Do you Haruka Goldenburn take Turquoise to be your beloved wife to care for in sickness and in health till death till you part?

“ I do,” Haruka said.

“ And do you Turquoise take Haruka to be your lawfully wedded partner to care for you in sickness and in health till death till you part?,” The priest asked.

“ I do,” Turquoise said.

“ Than by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you Wife and Wife you may now kiss the bride,” The priest said as the rays of the Blood Moon bathed the shrine creating a good picture for the photographer to take as Haruka kissed Turquoise passionately. After the ceremony, everyone moved to the banquet hall which was an ornate style room with a bunch of tables with many dishes from Japan and the US on tables but what was most noticeable was a big white cake with two figurines that looked exactly like Turquoise and Haruka. Turquoise made the first speech.

“ This has been quite a journey for me. There have been many good times and bad times but they were all worth it to be here with my friends and family. To my friends even if this ends up being the last time we ever see each other just know I am grateful to you for sharing this important day with me,” Turquoise said before shedding a tear of joy. Everyone was touched by Turquoise’s words her friends more than the others.

“ We are glad you chose us to be your bridesmaids and we want you and Haruka to do something with us after this,” Lemon said. After everyone finished giving their speeches it was time for the cutting of the cake which Turquoise and Haruka did together and playing smeared some it of it on each other’s faces. After everyone had a slice Bullet proposed a toast to the wedded couple and to whatever the future may hold. As soon as everyone finished eating the DJ began playing the first song Turquoise requested which was (My dearest) by SuperCell.

“ You always know what to choose for the occasion,” Haruka said.

“ Shall we dance?” Turquoise asked.

“ Lets,” Haruka said. Everyone danced the night away and as soon as the final song ended Turquoise and Haruka went outside to see their friends gathered in front of the steps to the shrine.

“ Come on you two get in between us,” Amber said. Turquoise and Haruka did what they were told and the photographer prepared his camera.

“ Say Happy Endings, everyone,” The photographer said before taking the picture.

“ This is so you two can remember us even if we are millions of miles apart,” Lemon said.

“ Friends may come and go but their bonds will last a lifetime, Sunset taught us that,” Sunny said.

“ By the way where are you two planning on going now that High School is over and you’re married?” Indigo asked.

“ Haruka and I are going to Elysium University in New York City,” Turquoise said.

“ It’s one of the most prestigious Colleges in the country A degree from there can land you whatever job you want,” Haruka added.

“ In any case, we still have Summer Vacation so let’s enjoy it before everyone starts packing,” Sapphire said. The days went by before everyone knew it and then the day where everyone parts ways arrived. Everyone gathered by the newly rebuilt WonderColt’s statue to take one final group photo this time with all their friends from Canterlot High included. Rarity hugged Pettilite lovingly.

“ Be good for Sapphire darling I know she will take good care of you,” Rarity said.

“ I will cousin Rarity,” Pettilite said.

“ I’m going to miss this world but not as much as I will miss all of you,” Sunset said.

“ Do you really have to go back to Equestria Sunset?” Pinkie asked.

“ Sorry Pinkie now that High School is over I no longer have a place here so it’s time for me to return to my true home but I will come back and visit whenever I can,” Sunset said. After everyone finished with the tearful stuff Sunset went through the portal and everyone else went to their cars to reach the city limits and each of them took one last look at Canterlot City.

Twenty years later Turquoise was at her desk in her office looking over the charts and profits Silver Corp was making and looked pleased to see that her latest game was a huge hit while looking at the news article on her wall about Fenos Online and the Nerve Gear taking the gaming industry by storm. Even though her hair turned a slightly lighter shade of red and now wore glasses she still looked as youthful as she did before. As Turquoise was reminiscing her intercom buzzed and got her attention.

“ Miss Turquoise your partner and daughter are here to see you,” A lady said on the other side.

“ Thank you, Krystal, please send them in,” Turquoise said. After the elevator arrived on the top floor Haruka opened the door to Turquoise’s office and a little girl with creme skin with long red hair tied in twin tails wearing a lolita style dress ran up and hugged Turquoise.

“ Come on Mommy lets go before its too late?” The girl said.

“ Slow down Junko I will be ready soon,” Turquoise said before hitting the intercom. Krystal, please hold all my calls I have a very important engagement to attend to. After turning off her computer the three of them left to spend the day together like a family.
