Cadence slammed her hooves against the table “You just came back to tell you found nothing! What the fuck is wrong with you?! You had one job, to find her no matter where she is, I don’t need to know if you haven’t found her!”

The three trembling royal guard bolted out of the room. Shining Armour frowned “Please don’t traumatise my guards?”

Cadence shouted “Well I’m sorry if they are useless pieces of shit! I swear they lasted two seconds at the fucking wedding. The fucking Night Guards have been doing a good fucking job, they have brains to contact me over the long distance enchanted orbs they have been provided rather than wasting my time by barging into my room!”

Shining Armour frowned “Calm down we’ll find Twilight.”

Cadence took a deep breath “I know, I’m just worried about her.”

Shining Armour nodded “I know but the Princesses having been using scrying spells to try and find her but they haven’t had any luck yet. Still we will find her.”

Cadence heard a loud noise and turned to one of the orbs on her desk that was glowing a bright pink. She tapped it with her horn and Pinkie screamed “Why did you leave me these useless excuses for guards, they hid behind me and my cannon the whole time!”

Cadence gasped “Cannon?!”

Pinkie rolled her eyes “I am the most skilled cannon maker in all of Equestria, I have a lifetime explosive license as well as a lifetime weapon license, courtesy of the Princess” she then shouted “Captain Armour I can see you there, now you are going to explain to me why your guards are pathetic shitstains!”

Shining Armour and Cadence’s jaws dropped as they had never heard the pink party pony swear. Shining Armour tried not to meet her eyes “I don’t know.”

Pinkie Pie scowled and much to their shock she pulled her body through the orb and punched him in the face, she then when back through the orb and closed the connection.

Shining Armour grimaced as blood poured out of his muzzle “Wy dd shoe di thoot?”

Cadence sighed “A mix of five days with out sleep and dealing with the guard plus one of her best friends is missing, and she is hurting.”

Shining Armour scowled “Tht’s noot on exuse tu brook mo moozl.”

Luna yawned as she trotted in “Any luck.”

Cadence scowled “No, those so called Royal Guard are useless, I swear they are going to give me a migraine.”

Luna chided “They are doing their best.”

Cadence glared at Luna “That is not an excuse to be stupid, they failed at the wedding and everypony got captured, do you know how close ponykind was to being the equivalent of changeling food! With us princesses gone and the guards command destroyed, ponykind would have vanished from the face of the world as changeling rushed over our little ponies like a relentless tide!”

Luna remained completely silent for several moments, she then turned to Shining Armour “I believe we need to leave your fiance alone for a while.” She levitated him out of the room with her.

Shining Armour frowned “Why did you levitate me out of there?”

Luna sighed “The nobleponies are getting restless, they want us to bring the guard back to Canterlot.”

Shining Armour eyes widened “You’re not going to give into their demands are you?”

Luna turned to him “It’s not that, all of Equestria is rattled. They have seen we Alicorns are not invulnerable and are terrified. The guard need to be here to ensure we still stand strong.”

Shining Armour sighed “I understand, the needs of the nation come before our needs. I just hope she is safe out there.”

Luna smiled “We have two more weeks before we call our guards back, we better get to work and you better get your guards into gear.”

Shining Armour saluted “Yes Princess!”

Luna frowned as he galloped away “I hope we find you my saviour.”
