Twilight grimaced as she sat in the Town Hall with Sunset, Fluttershy, Discord, Starlight, Tempest and Solaire. Twilight growled “Why didn’t you tell us your sister was coming back, I had my suspicions but I thought I might have been wrong because we were invited!”

Solaire sighed “I didn’t want to tell you because I was worried you’d kill her, it was my fault I banished her with the Emblems of Harmony exactly one thousand years ago on this very day.”

Sunset nodded “I guess that does make sense.”

Discord frowned “Do you have a Discord around per chance?”

Solaire blinked “How do you know about Discord?”

Tempest smiled “This is Discord, a version of him anyway.”

Solaire froze, Fluttershy grimaced “He’s good, he just annoys me because he’s always glaring at Starlight when he thinks I’m not watching.”

Twilight frowned “I’m the Alicorn of Harmony, my existence keeps him from going crazy and destroying the universe so yes I have an important job. Now I have a tale for you, one that you may find similar to one you know.”

Solaire frowned “Go on?”

Twilight began as she conjured up images with her magic

Once upon a time in the magical land of Equestria, two regal sisters ruled with a wisdom and strength to establish a grand harmony that shone throughout the world like a beacon of light. The eldest sister used her mighty power to move the magnificent sun while the younger used her equally mighty power to move the marvellous moon. The twin sisters maintained peace and harmony the older handling the politics of the nation while the younger alongside her night guard brought the evils that threatened their precious ponies to an end.

However as the years past on ponies began to disrespect the younger sister, believing her to be a monster of the night. Despite her urging the older sister disregarded the younger sister’s words as a need for attention, the younger mare slowly grew resentful until one night she refused to lower the moon. Thus a dreadful battle ensued between the two and the elder sister in order to protect ponies utilised the most powerful magic, the Elements of Harmony to banish her to the moon.

The elder sister for one thousand years was trapped within her sorrow, mourned her sister until six ponies her personal student and her five friends wielded the Elements of Harmony to free the younger sister and return her to her elder sister.

The six mares then defeated a mighty chaos spirit retuning him to stone using the elements of Harmony.

Solaire’s eyes widened as he began to put the pieces together, Twilight continued

Then not long after her brother’s wedding was held, she only received the message from her mentor rather than from her brother. She noticed something was off when the pony he was marrying was her and did not know her name, it only got worse as the bride behaved oddly but when she confronted everyone about it all them even her five friend and mentor didn’t see it, her brother told her she should not turn up at the wedding so in her sorrow she ran away from Equestria far south to across the desert to Klugetown.

On the way a kind merchant taught her the way of combat and she became a mercenary eventually leading a successful band of mercenaries and with the help of a unicorn who she befriended she was to free many lands from tyranny forming a kingdom larger than any other larger than any other.

However the kingdom she called home vanished completely replaced with another that was almost a mirror image.

Solaire blinked in a mix of shock and confusion “That story was yours.”

Twilight nodded “Yes and yours replaced Equestria. I intend to find out who caused this.” They heard the flapping of wings, she looked out to see a very light azure horned griffon with greyish blue feathers, in addition to Moonstar, a pink Griffon, a blue Griffon with rainbow feathers, yellow Griffon with light pink feathers, a white Griffon with purple feathers and a orange Griffon with blonde feathers were there each wearing an emblem similar to the elements that Twilight knew so well.

Twilight was interrupted as an exhausted Pegasi landed “There was an attack on Klugetown by an Equestrian Force, they were bright orange armour as they were commanded by their new leader, Queen Daybreaker. We repelled them fairly easily but there is no idea of when they will attack again.”

Solaire turned to Twilight “I’m coming with you, this Daybreaker must be stopped she is an enemy of the peace that we all strive to live under.”

Twilight sighed “That sounds like something the Celestia I used to know before I left would say.” Twilight then turned to those around her, Fluttershy, Discord, Tempest, Sunset Shimmer and Starlight “Then we will go now, our main ship will be here soon with an army at a ready. War has come and we will fight!”

Twilight smiled as her allies roared she turned to see the Starblade appeared out of warp Twilight grinned as the huge stairs extended and they boarded the massive ship as it reclaimed the small ship they warped here on. Twilight was going to bring Daybreaker down, that was a promise.
