Today all over the school, the students were getting supplies ready for big dance party. It was a fundraiser for the school. Sapphire was using her magic to make the decorations. Making large stars and adding large sparkles to make them look prettier. "Nice work, Sapphire." Sunset praised.

"Thanks you."

The DJ set was up and ready on the left side of the stage in the back. "I can't wait for the dance party." Rainbow said. "It is going to be held at one of Grandruler’s five-star hotels. How awesome is that?!”.

"So are you going to the dance with anyone, Sapphire?" Lightning questioned.

"Oh, umm. I don't know." Sapphire answered quickly. Rainbow nudged her, "Come on, you can already sing, we have to get a date."

"I-I don't know about that." she replied, rubbing the back of her head shyly. The team could tell Sapphire was nervous about asking somebody out. Who wouldn't with her past? Hiding away from humans and basically socializing with animals, even though she's gotten pretty good at socializing with people, she still had a little's way to go. That's when Fluttershy came into the room, almost out of breath. "Fluttershy?" Sunset and the others came to her side, while Sapphire walked over to the DJ booth. "Hmm... this looks interesting." Looking at all the buttons and turntables, she was tempted to try it.

Meanwhile, Fluttershy explained to the rangers and the other students what was going on, "Dj-Pon 3 is sick?!" Sunset cried.

Fluttershy nodded, "He somehow got a cold and he won't be able to Dj for the dance."

The students started chattering with worry and concern. "Oh no, this is bad." Lightning groaned. Without a Dj, there would be no music for the dance. "We can't have a dance without any music."

"So what do we do?" Buddy asked. The gang tried to think of a solution when they heard some music coming from the DJ booth, "What the-?" Turning around, they saw Sapphire skillfully playing the DJ Booth! "Sapphire?!" the rangers exclaimed. She seemed so in tuned with the music, she didn't notice everyone looking at her in amazement.

When she was finished playing the booth, she was greeted with a bombardment of cheers and applause from the students. She blushed with embarrassment and walked off of the stage, "That was amazing!" Rainbow exclaimed.

"Sapphire, you sure know how to play,
Dj skills are right of way." Rhymey added.

Sapphire smiled shyly. "Hehe. I was just playing with it." Sunset then gasped, "I think I know how we can save the dance!"

"How?" the friends asked.

"We can have Sapphire be the DJ!" The rangers immediately liked the idea, Sapphire, however...

"Me? Dj? No way?!" Sapphire claimed.

"Aw, come on, you're a natural." Rainbow encouraged.

"Yeah, you'll be fine." Sunset added. Sapphire whimpered with worry. "i-I don't know, sure I know how to dj, but to perform at a party, in front of people. It's kinda overwhelming."

"Don't worry, we'll be right there with you." Buddy said.

Sapphire saw the hopeful expressions on their faces as well as the other students who had listened to their conversation, and sighed. "Alright, I'll give it a try."

The rangers and the other students cheered.

At the Prison Tower, Keto was presenting his lasted idea to destroy the rangers to Vulcan and the others. "Behold Scratch."

Scratch: a a simple humanoid monster with a dj turntable set. He wore back glasses like a normal dj with lots of bling on his body. "Once he plays on this table, anyone within range will fall under his control." Keto explained. "The rangers won't be able to resist coming with him."

"You may proceed, but don't mess this up, or else." he suddenly threatened waving his hand which was covered in flames. Keto whimpered, "Y-Y-Yes sir." He and the monster scurried out of there

Back at the school, Sapphire was practicing her dj skills alone in the school's gym. Playing the same song she was playing before she started to feel a little better about this. "I do need to try some new things." she said to herself. "And this would help me."

As she was playing, some students walked in. Sapphire looked at them, but she noticed something weird. Their eyes were glowing green and they looked like mindless zombies. "Umm... are you alright?" She asked them. Her response were the students rushing towards her. "Woah." she leaped over them and ran out of the gym's door, pursued by the students.

Entering the hallway, she was greeted by more students in the same condition. "What is going on?" she screeched. The rushed towards the door, but was blocked by students. "Looks like I have no choice." She lit her horn and blasted the students with her magic, sending them crashing onto the concrete. She flew out of the school and saw the entire area had people in the same condition.

She heard a scream and saw the other rangers surrounded by the students. "Guys!" she swooped down towards them and scooped them up in her magic. "Thanks Sapphire." Lightning thanked.

"Yeah, but what's with these people?" Rainbow asked.

"I think I've found the answer." Sunset said, looking in the city. The ranger looked and saw Scratch with Keto. Scratch was sending out musical waves that placed people under his control. "He's the one who made the students attack us. Let's get them!" Rainbow said.

"No Rainbow, you guys will be placed under his control too. We need a plan." Lightning said. "Sapphire get us to the base."

"Right." Sapphire teleported the gang to the base where Celesto, Twilight, Celestia, Luna, Krysta and Spike were. "Thank goodness you all are alright." Celestia said.

"Wish I could say the same about the people." Spike stated.

"What are we gonna do?" Buddy asked.

"That creep is using his turntables to control people with his music." Buddy said. "We have to find someway to cancel the spell."

"Why can't Sapphire use her singing magic?" Rainbow suggested.

"I don't think that'll be very effective." Twilight said. Twilight scanned the sound waves. "The sound waves are stronger than Sapphire's singing magic. So we need something stronger to break the spell."

"If only we have our own turntables, then we could make our own sound waves to cancel the spell." Spike said. That gave Sapphire an idea. "That's it!"

"What's it?" Celesto asked.

"I can play my turntables and combine it with my magic to create a spell to cancel the monster's." The others thought about that plan for a moment. "That could work." Twilight said. "Let's give it a try."

"Right, Sapphire, go get your turntables. We'll stall the monster." Sunset ordered. Sapphire nodded and teleported off while the rangers headed out once again.

Meanwhile, Scratch and Keto were admiring their human army. "Hahaha, with these humans under own control, we'll destroy the rangers in seconds." Scratch claimed.

"Don't be so sure." Keto and Scratch turned around and saw the rangers, except for Sapphire. "So you rangers want to go again do you?" Keto taunted.

"Let those people go!" Rainbow demanded.

"No and there's nothing you can do to stop us." Scratch said.

"Oh this there?" Sunset smirked.

Just then, Sapphire teleported onto the scene. "Time to dj!" and she began playing on the turntable. Her lit her horn and combined her magic within the music. The music reached the peoples' ear, snapping them out of the spell. Once they saw Scratch and Keto, they ran for the hills. "What?! NO!" Scratch cried.

"Time to put your concert to an end. Ready guys?" Sunset said.

Keto growled, "Lingoes, get them!" A handful of LIngoes appeared and charged the rangers. Sapphire stopped playing, teleported her turntables back to the school and joined in the fight. "STARFLEET MAGIC... POWER ON!"

Sunset did a tornado kick, and knocked one of them down easily. Then elbowed another in the guy and flipped it by the arm and flat onto its back.

Three more Lingos charged and Rainbow and she began to act like a sports commenter and a soccer-player. “The field’s wide open! The offense is closing in…!” she called it right as the Lingos attacked, and she gave a single a dramatic soccer-kick, knocking them all down in one shot.

Buddy brawled the Lingos that came at him, “You’d think with all that power they absorbed, they’d improve their fighting styles.”

“Guess they never learn.” said Rhymey, and he bonked two Lingos’ heads together, “Which is why they burn!”

Fluttershy was surrounded by several Lingos, but she waited until they all lunged at her at once and then leapt up high, causing them to crash into each other.

Sapphire just blasted them with her horn. Then she and the rangers set their attention to Scratch and Keto. "Time to take this to the next level. FORTISSIMO!"

Keto casted his mugic on himself and Scratch, making them grow gigantic. The rangers gasped, “She just can’t take a hint.” said Lightning, and he activated his morpher, “GIGANTIFY!”

“Giant Mode… Engage!”

…And he grew large himself, not bothering to don his armor, needing more speed.

"Wolf Zord, I choose you!" Sapphire called. The wolf burst from the group, howling and rushed to the battle, beaming Sapphire into the cockpit.

“Jet-Star Megazord…!” Sunset called, and the ranger’s megazord appeared.

The rangers were all beamed inside. “All right… let’s get them!” said Sunset.

"I don't think so!" Scratch's turntables glowed and changed into a guitar. Scratch started playing on the guitar sending a beam towards the two zords. Wolf Zord leaped out of the way, but the megazord was struck. "Hey!" Rainbow snapped. Scratch and Keto laughed. Scratch's guitar magic lifted the megazord into the air, rocking the rangers inside. Scratch started wailing on his guitar, sensing electrical waves through the megazord. The ranges pressed the controls, but the megazord didn't move. "It's no use, she's won't budge." Buddy said. "The controls aren't working."

Scratch and Keto chuckled. "Time to end you rangers." Keto said.

Suddenly, Scratch was rammed from behind by the Wolf Zord. "Forget about me, morons?"

"No, we didn't." Keto growled. Wolf Zord fired a beam at Keto, hitting him hard. Wolf Zord then charged Scratch and bashed into him, disrupting his guitar magic and freeing the megazord. "Thanks Sapphire." Rainbow said.

Wolf Zord landed in front of the megazord and growled at the two monsters. "Now to end this ULTIMATE LEAF!" Sapphire cried. Wolf Zord howled and charged the two villains. “Uh, oh…!” cried Scratch, “This can’t be good!”

Keto only growled irritably, as Wolf Zord got closer and in act of desperation, Keto grabbed Scratch and threw him right in the past of the attacks, sparing himself from harm!

“THE WAS RUDE!!” the monster shouted as he flared up, “I’VE BEEN OUT-TUNED!!” and he exploded in midair and was imprisoned.

"Yeah, Sapphire!" Lightning cried.

"Monster Captured, Mission Complete!" Sapphire declared.

At the Prison Tower, Vulcan had cornered Keto against a wall. He was scowling at him in anger. "Sorry sir." Keto whimpered.

Vulcan growled at him, "Sorry doesn't cut it, wimp." He made a fireball in his hand, indicating that he was planning on trying to roast Keto for failing. "Yikes." Keto bolted away from Vulcan as he chased after him. "Come back here!" Vulcan thundered. Marla and Bronc, meanwhile, were watching the whole chase unfold while eating popcorn. "This is better than a movie." Marla said.

"I agree." Bronc added. Then Keto turned towards them! Marla and Bronc screamed, throwing their popcorn in the air and running away from an angry Vulcan along with Keto. "Look what you did you little shrimp!" Marla cried.

The minions swerved vigorously to avoid Vulcan's fireballs while the other prisoners laughed at them.

Meanwhile, at the hotel, Sapphire was djing the party in the gymnasium. The students were dancing and jamming to the beat, including the Grandrulers'. "Nice dj work, Sapphire." Rainbow called.

"Thank you." She even had a pair of headphones and dj sunglasses on. All in all, the friends all had a good time.
