Tentatively, you extend a hoof toward Twilight and give her your name. You wince slightly as you do so, as if expecting some terrible tragedy to befall you for your social faux pas.

Thankfully, not even a second later you feel Twilight’s hoof against yours. “It’s nice to meet you,” she delivers earnestly. “I can’t wait to perform some society-changing research with a world-class mind like yours!”

You exhale a breath you didn’t know you were holding. Nailed it.
