Almost two weeks have passed; you and Twilight have been busy during that time and have made good progress on your research project.

You sit hunched over a book in the castle library, plowing along on your work, when you hear the door to the library creak open and a set of hoofsteps approach. Looking up from the book in front of you, you smile at Twilight. “Hey! Ready to finish up pre-work for phase two?”

Twilight frowns softly and shakes her head. “I’m really sorry, but I forgot that I made plans to go out with my friends today. I feel terrible as a mentor, but I haven’t seen Pinkie and the others in so long and I don’t want to cancel on them again,” she sighs. Looking at you with a mournful gaze, she continues. “I promise we can work more tonight. Is that ok?”

To ask to come with Twilight to meet her friends, proceed to Chapter 13.
