It all happened so suddenly. One moment everyone in the USA was living their life, then in the next they found themselves no longer on earth. For those living on the mainland, they were still together. Others were thrown to the ponies, or the griffons. It gets worse.

The president is in a panic, the entire government is. How can they not be? All connection to the known powers of the world, suddenly cut off. The stars in the sky are all wrong, but who has time for that? There is no more oil coming in, Alaska's production just... stopped. Are those people alive, or are they back on Earth?
