Gohan and Chrysalis were in the air.

Gohan kept throwing punches with his aura flaring, while Chrysalis kept moving back and dodging.

Eventually, she blocked a punch with her horn, and it started glowing green...

"Get back!"

WHOOSH!

Chrysalis let out a powerful green shockwave that knocked Gohan down and away!

His aura died out as he flew towards the ground...

CRASH!

He crashed into the wall on the ground, putting a neat hole in it, along with some cracks.

"Okay... That's a lot of love..." He said.

Chrysalis darted ahead and landed in front of Gohan.

She thrusted her corroded horn forward, but...

Gohan grabbed it with two hands!

Then, he swung her to the side and...

CRASH!

She was smashed into the wall!

A few rocks flew...

Gohan let go, and put her in a bad position.

Chrysalis was now backed to the wall, and Gohan was on the offensive.

He booted her further into the wall...

CRRRACK!

He cracked it even more.

He punched her in the cheek, and then right in the stomach...

Desperately, Chrysalis's horn glowed green yet again...

Gohan crossed his arms in anticipation.

Chrysalis let out yet another shockwave!

WHOOSH!

But Gohan wasn't sent back.

He blocked the shockwave!

The green magic barely pushed him back, and he wound up a punch.

Before he could even throw it...

WHOOSH!

A green blast sent him flying!

Gohan was being carried into the air with it...

So he pushed himself off of it in the air, looking at it as it flew away.

The blast hit the wall and exploded in green...

BAKOOM!

Gohan looked back, and-

SWISH!

Chrysalis's horn narrowly missed his head...

Reacting instantly, Gohan kneed her in the gut!

BAM!

Chrysalis coughed...

Then, he used his other leg to kick her away!

BAM!

She was sent towards the cocoons...

While she flew away...

Gohan looked down below and saw the throne.

'Perfect.' He thought.

As Chrysalis landed on top of the Celestia cocoon, Gohan stood on the throne, thrusting his palm into the air.

His aura flared, but, it slowly went straight into his raised hand.

Chrysalis knew what he was doing, but did nothing to stop him.

Instead...

She dug her fangs into the cocoon she clung to.

Once all the aura was focused into his hand, he clenched a fist.

He wound it up, then, brought it straight down to the throne!

WHAM!

It collided with the throne, literally shaking the entire hive!

The aura disappeared...

The ground around him cracked...

Chrysalis grinned upside down.

The throne wasn't affected whatsoever, but the hive sure as hell was.

"What!?" Gohan asked.

A green blast struck him in the face!

BAKOOM!

He was knocked off the throne, and there was a scratch on his cheek.

He floated in the air as Chrysalis dove down from the cocoons, flying right at him!

He aimed his palm at her and fired three yellow ki blasts!

But they just bounced off on contact.

Chrysalis tried to ram her horn into Gohan yet again!

And, yet again, Gohan grabbed it.

But Chrysalis grinned.

Her horn glowed green, and-

Gohan was engulfed in magic!

He strained and struggled to move...

Chrysalis forced his hands off her horn and now he was just stuck floating in the air, grunting...

He was trying to move.

So, Chrysalis swung her head!

Gohan was swung and bashed into her throne!

WHAM!

Then, he was flown overhead and then down!

His chest smashed into the dirty ground!

CRACK!

The ground cracked some more and some of the strange liquid splashed...

Chrysalis flew up, keeping him down on the ground...

Then, she started nodding her head while smirking.

Gohan was brought up and down and up and down back to the ground over and over and over again.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

Then, Gohan was brought back up to Chrysalis's eye level.

He still tried to resist...

"A smart idea to destroy my throne." Chrysalis said.

"Of course, that traitor wouldn't know. My throne can only be destroyed when I am powerless!" She said.

"With all the most powerful love in Equestria at my disposal... This is over." She said.

Then, she started slowly putting Gohan into a cocoon.

Starting with the hands and feet.

She slowly made her way, making this the most unpleasant experience ever.

Gohan gagged at the feeling.

'Eugh! Damn it...!' He thought.

The cocoon was successfully up to his hips and his shoulders...

He couldn't feel anything in his arms and legs...

And most of his body.

This was a sticky situation...

Then, he finally thought of something.

Once the cocoon left his head and neck uncovered...

His aura flared on his head and neck.

Chrysalis was confused...

The cocoon's expansion was halted, and...

"HRRAGH!"

Gohan burst from the cocoon, aura flaring like there was no tomorrow!

Chrysalis's magic couldn't handle it again, and shattered!

Before Chrysalis could even make a facial expression, Gohan slammed his fist into her cheek!

POW!

Chrysalis was sent flying!

"I will take you down!" He yelled.

Chrysalis stopped in midair and made her horn glow green...

Then, with a green flash...

She made tons of clones of herself!?

There has to be hundreds...

Gohan was left surrounded, and he let his aura die...

He looked around...

Chrysalises are everywhere.

All of equal strength...

"...Damn." He muttered.

They all dived at him!

So, since Gohan was cornered...

He made his aura flare.

"Bring it on!" He yelled.

One Chrysalis tried ramming her horn at him, but missed.

BAM!

He punched her right in the cheek, and...

She just turned into green smoke.

Before Gohan could really understand it, he flew back to dodge a green blast...

...Then one Chrysalis rammed her horn into his back!

BAM!

Suddenly, his aura died.

...Then another slammed her body against his side, sliding him off the horn.

WHAM!

Then another rammed herself into his chest, halting him.

WHAM!

He coughed.

...Then more and more started dogpiling on Gohan and...

This is one big giant ball of Chrysalises.

It continued to float, even though there was no flapping or buzzing of the wings.

On the inside...

"You think this'll hold me down too?" Gohan asked the multiple Chrysalises.

There was no space to breathe, practically.

One Chrysalis piped up...

"You have no idea..." She said.

Another piped up.

"Even if you manage to get us off you, you will never win!" She yelled.

"I already know what you're doing." Gohan said.

Then each Chrysalis looked puzzled.

"I won't let you gain any more energy!" Gohan yelled.

His aura flared!

Slowly, the Chrysalises were pushed away...

They could not cover him for long...

Once he managed to create some space...

He threw his arms out, and let out a Saiyan roar!

"HRRRAAAAGH!"

Ki blasts fired from all throughout his body!

BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOM!

His body was engulfed in green smoke, but...

As each Chrysalis clone was destroyed, ki blasts managed to find their way out of the clumped mass.

BAKOOMBAKOOMBAKOOMBAKOOM!

Eventually, ki blasts just flew everywhere!

Holes in walls, the ceiling, the floor-

Everywhere.

The real Chrysalis was latched on the Luna and Cadence cocoon.

Fortunately for her, those ki blasts wouldn't touch her.

They had no aim.

She smirked, absorbing more love and power.

BAMBAM!

...They did hit two of the cocoons, however.

And right as that happened, Gohan let up with the barrage.

The room was mostly wrecked.

The two random cocoons fell to the ground...

SPLAT!

They splattered like a tomato, with green liquid flying everywhere.

It was Starlight and Thorax.

They woke up from their strange slumber...

And semi sat up.

...With unconscious changelings everywhere.

"Uh..." Starlight said.

"This is definitely something to wake up to..." Thorax said.

Then...

An orange blur with a yellow aura zoomed past them, going up towards the cocoons!

Their manes were flying for a moment or two.

Looking up...

They saw Gohan being knocked out of Chrysalis's collection of cocoons...

Then they saw Chrysalis emerge, instantly flying behind him and wrapped him in her magic.

She hurled him down!

Fortunately for Gohan, the magic didn't stay on him.

So, he flipped over and gently landed on his feet.

He looked above, ignoring the two beside him.

...

"...Didn't you have a different mane before?" Thorax asked.

Then, Gohan leapt from the ground!

He got up to Chrysalis's level and...

They just stared.

Chrysalis smirked while Gohan kept his serious face.

"You let your guard down. I'm too powerful for you now." She said.

"It's not even close to all the love." She added.

Gohan didn't really react...

"You'd be surprised." He said, crossing his arms.

"This isn't even close to my full power." He added.

Now, that made Chrysalis recoil.

"What...?" She asked.

Gohan made his aura flare...

He uncrossed his arms, yet kept them bent at his sides...

He grunted, and exerted even more aura...

Sparks flew, and now, he was going all out.

Chrysalis's mane and tail flew back...

Gohan let his aura weaken...

The sparks still flew.

Chrysalis just growled.

"No matter!" She yelled.

"I'll just absorb more love, and-" "-Your first mistake is assuming I'd let you do it so easily." Gohan interrupted.

Then, he instantly appeared right in front of her...

Before Chrysalis could even react, Gohan kicked her right in the jaw!

BAM!

She was sent flying upwards!

Gohan appeared behind her, clutching both hands together, and raised them above his head.

He brought it down on her neck!

BAM!

Chrysalis was flying down, but Gohan teleported to the ground.

He aimed his palm at where Chrysalis would be...

And he waited until she was right there until...

"HAAA!"

He sent her flying with an immense pressurized blast!

Starlight and Thorax gawked.

CRASH!

Chrysalis was covered in rubble...

Gohan flew after her immediately, not letting up.

"...Well. Looks like he has that under control." Thorax said.

Gohan wound up a claw, and-

Chrysalis got right up from the rubble.

Her horn was being supercharged with magic, having tons of sparks with it...

Gohan had to halt, and his aura died.

Chrysalis slammed her forehooves on the ground and stood tall!

The ground beneath her cracked.

Chrysalis seemed to develop her own green, jagged aura...

Her mane flew...

Then, she let out a very loud roar of frustration.

"GRAAAAAAAGH!"

Her aura and her voice destroyed the place even more...

She stared at Gohan with angry eyes...

...Then Gohan flew up, for no good reason...

He spun around, and prepped a roundhouse kick...

But for what?

Chrysalis just so happened to teleport at that exact moment...

Then...

She appeared right in front of Gohan...

BAM!

Gohan predicted where she would be...

So, he acted accordingly.

Chrysalis's aura died...

She was knocked back down again!

And he trailed after her yet again.

Chrysalis teleported again, but to gain some distance.

She teleported to the ground, far from Gohan...

She grinned, and let the jagged aura flow again.

"You fool!"

Instantly, her horn was charged with magic, and she fired a colossal at Gohan and the cocoons!

It was huge!

Gohan was about to dodge, but then, he looked back at the ponified versions of those he loved.

He had to stop it somehow.

But it had already come so close...

There was no time to charge a substantial ki blast against magic of this size and power.

So, Gohan decided to take it head on.

He flew at the blast, and rammed his shoulder into it!

BANG!

They clashed, making sparks and magic fly all over the place!

Gohan grunted loudly as he kept pushing on...

He was pushing it back!

But...

"Oh, silly me, I forgot to add this!" Chrysalis yelled, adding even more power to her blast!

Gohan was pushed back a bit, then he had to use his hands to hold the blast back...

"I won't go down that easily!" He yelled.

...Then, he thought of something.

He threw his legs up, as if he was flying straight towards the blast.

He pushed the blast back...

And, he made his aura flare intensely.

Then...

He went inside it?

His aura provided a decent protection, and the blast was still being held back.

He traveled all the way through, and Chrysalis didn't even realize.

Gohan wound up a fist, roaring loudly!

"HYYYAAAGH!"

The Saiyan was right in front of Chrysalis, much to her surprise.

She couldn't react, and-

WHAM!

She was punched in the face!

The magic instantly died out, colliding with nothing.

Chrysalis was sent flying, but, recovered.

She flew even further away, and fired multiple green blasts from her horn!

But they were done in haste, so they had no aim.

Gohan, retaining his aura, easily flew around, under, and over the blasts as he got close.

None of them posed a real threat to anyone, having literally no aim.

He wound up his fist again, and-

WHAM!

Chrysalis was sent flying yet again.

And he trailed after her.

Starlight and Thorax couldn't really see anymore but could still hear the sounds of the hits.

"...I'm genuinely surprised he can do that." Thorax said.

"I didn't think somepony could really be that strong... Especially without magic." Starlight said.

CRASH!

They heard the sound of someone being smashed into the wall.

Then, suddenly...

The changelings around them started getting up.

Drowsily and weakly, but they were still getting up.

"Oh no." Starlight said.

She looked over to the throne, which was still standing...

"That idiot didn't break the throne...!" She said.

The changelings noticed the two, and hissed loudly!

...Until they didn't have it in them and stopped.

They looked really beat.

They weren't even attacking them yet...

"...W-Why aren't we being attacked yet?" Starlight asked.

"It looks like they don't have any energy..." Thorax said.

"Aren't they hungry...?" Starlight asked.

"Of course we are." A male changeling said.

"But we can't even win in a hooffight against that thing..." Another piped up.

Speaking of whom...

He had just grabbed her by the face, and slammed her into the wall!

CRASH!

"We should just dig our gravestones for even trying." Another said.

Chrysalis covered Gohan in magic, and brought him up...

She slammed him down into the ground in front of her!

CRASH!

The ground cracked immensely.

To keep the pressure, she grabbed a boulder from afar with her magic...

She brought it up, jumped back, and hurled it down on him!

CRASH!

The boulder shattered into many pieces...

The ground cracked even more.

"Then why don't you... just be on his side?" Thorax asked.

"The heck does that even mean?" The first changeling asked.

"Well... You captured everypony to feed on love, right?" Starlight asked.

BAKOOM!

The explosion couldn't be seen from here.

"Yeah..." The changeling said.

"What if you didn't have to?" Starlight asked.

"I mean, didn't have to feed like this." She said.

"The hunger of changelings can never be satisfied." The changeling said.

"Exactly." Starlight said.

BAMBAMBAM!

CRASH!

"Thorax left the hive and made a friend. He shared love, and now he doesn't need to feed. You don't have to live your lives starving all the time." She said.

The changelings shifted their attention to Thorax now.

"Is what she's saying true?" The changeling asked.

"Well, yeah. Why else would Chrysalis take my love too?" Thorax asked.

The crowd spoke amongst themselves...

Some "What?"s and "Really?"s and such.

A lot of chatter.

"Thorax, I think I know how to really seal the deal." Starlight said.

"Is sharing love a thing amongst you changelings?" She asked.

"Yeah..." Thorax said.

"But it never happens." He said.

"Well, we're changing that today!" Starlight announced.

"How do you know that'll work?" The changeling asked.

"Trust me, something good will happen." Starlight said.

Then, everyone heard and saw an explosion.

Looking over, Chrysalis was sent flying from the smoke.

She landed on the ground, sliding on her hooves...

She coughed.

She was panting...

Gohan jumped from the explosion and on the ground.

Then, putting his left arm to his waist and his right arm ahead...

He made his aura flare intensely.

The sparks flew even more.

The ground beneath him cracked and shattered...

He threw his body right at her!

Chrysalis, having no time to use her magic, stood on her backhooves and wound up one of her forehooves.

Gohan wound up his fist as well.

She let out a valiant screech!

"GREEEEEEAAAAGH!"

The two attacks collided!

BAKOOM!

There was an explosion of yellow ki everywhere!

The whole room cracked, and the entire castle shook!

The changelings and Starlight stumbled...

A few actually tripped.

Chrysalis had no time to even come up with another attack, because Gohan used his other arm to blast her!

WHOOSH!

She was sent flying from the blast!

Gohan, retaining his intense aura, instantly flew after her!

Changelings were on different levels of height, the castle seemed like it was gonna collapse!

"Now! We don't have much time!" Starlight yelled.

"Uh...! Yeah, yeah, ok!" Thorax said.

Thorax made his corroded horn glow...

And so did every other changeling.

Thorax was enveloped in a green magic...

He was carried up.

Then, from his chest emerged the pink love.

Not just a bit, but in huge shockwaves!

Now that was also making the place shake.

Gohan held two yellow blasts in his palms...

But they weren't any ordinary blasts.

They were a darker shade of yellow, were slightly transparent, and had sparks around them...

Gohan reached Chrysalis, and slammed the blasts into her!

Her entire body was enveloped in a yellow energy, complete with sparks everywhere.

This was an energy bind.

She couldn't move her body, grunting as she tried her hardest.

But Gohan had full control.

He aimed his palms slightly upwards to lift her up, and...

He jumped and flip kicked her up even more!

She remained suspended in the air...

He kept aiming his hands up at her to control it...

His aura flared even more, and there was a white glimmer slowly traveling from his legs.

Now, while that happens...

Thorax was wrapped in a pink ribbonlike magic.

The other changelings were fed and stopped...

With the flash of a bright light, he turned into a bright green cocoon.

You couldn't see what was inside at all...

Back to the fight.

Now, once the white light traveled to Gohan's chest...

He bent his legs and crossed his arms downward.

The light still traveled towards both his arms.

"HRRRAAAGH!"

He screamed, hurling his arms up back up at Chrysalis!

Nothing was thrown at her... yet.

Around her, yellow beams started going into her body...

And, with a huge spark of yellow ki...

Chrysalis exploded!

She was sent flying towards her throne, being slammed on it!

It actually cracked this time.

Chrysalis didn't have the energy to get up...

Gohan flew up to where Chrysalis was initially, and let his aura die.

In it's place...

Gohan grunted loudly.

He bent his arms...

Veins popping out, steam was emerging from his body...

And...

Starlight ever so inched closer to Thorax...

Then, she touched the cocoon.

BOOM!

It pushed her back with a shockwave...

And, with a flash of light...

Thorax was reborn.

New body...

He was green, much bigger, had orange horns, new beetle wings and tail, and...

This was just completely new.

All of the other changelings were bewildered...

Taking advantage of the moment...

"This is what happens when you give love freely instead of taking it!" Starlight yelled at Chrysalis.

...She obviously didn't pay attention to that.

Now...

The other changelings decided to follow suit.

One decided to hand his love out as well.

From his heart, the pink magic emerged...

Others joined, and the whole castle shook.

The castle was surely gonna get destroyed at this rate.

Now, with Gohan...

He was still steaming.

Suddenly...

He wrapped himself in some mystical blue ki, accompanied with blue sparkles of light.

Every single changeling joined in the sharing of love...

They were all wrapped in pink ribbon magic...

There were millions of shockwaves of pink love, wow!

Millions of cocoons now, too.

Gohan, with all of his might, hurled his body towards Chrysalis!

"This is the end, queen! Now DIE!"

Chrysalis weakly looked up to the incoming death.

...And in a last ditch effort, used her horn...

She channeled her magic, and-

BOOM!

Now, the top of the castle blew up due to the love of the changelings.

BAKOOM!

...The rest of it was from Gohan's miracle full force.

Now it's just a completely destroyed castle.

And, fortunately...

Everyone seemed to be fine.

Everyone was on the ground, alive.

Starlight and Thorax slowly got up, then looked around.

Reborn changelings of many different colors and varieties...

Miraculously, Gohan's kamikaze attack didn't harm any of the changelings.

The magic didn't let it happen.

Chrysalis's throne was destroyed, with no trace of it left.

And the important beings of Equestria were all okay!

...They were just covered in weird changeling fluid...

The cocoons were all destroyed.

So, all of the new changelings helped the captured bunch recover.

Y'know, helping them up.

Shining Armor, Cadence, and Flurry Heart were reunited.

Starlight went to Trixie, helped her up, and they hugged.

Even with this weird fluid all over them.

Also, Discord was looking everywhere for someone.

Slithering between changelings and existing in very tight spaces.

"Fluttershy?" He called.

Lo and behold, he found her, trying to get on her hooves.

So, he scooped her up for a big hug.

Of course, she was surprised, and took a moment.

"...It's, um, good to see you, too." She said.

Then, Starlight moved to help Twilight up...

"Starlight? What happened?" Twilight asked.

"We defeated Chrysalis with no magic at all, they found a new leader, and... they're all kinda... good now." Starlight said.

"But... we were really dead weight until now." She said.

"What? Who else could've done this?" Twilight asked.

Then, from some rubble...

Chrysalis emerged, still alive!

How!?

She hissed very loudly!

...But stopped immediately.

Why?

All of these powerful ponies of Equestria and all of her kingdom was against her.

And they have their magic, ready to fight.

Then, Starlight stood in front of the defeated queen.

"...When Twilight and her friends defeated me, I chose to run away and seek revenge. You don't have to! You can be the leader your subjects deserve." She said, holding a hoof out.

Chrysalis... seemed to consider for a moment.

...

She smacked her hoof away!

"There is no revenge you could ever conceive of that will come close to what I will exact upon you one day, Starlight Glimmer!" She yelled.

Then, she maneuvered under some rocks and...

Flew off.

Everyone was too dazed to really do anything, so she got awa-

CRASH!

Someone kicked her into the ground.

She was face first, somewhat stuck into the ground.

It was Gohan.

Then he gently landed on the ground behind her...

Twilight gasped.

"You're not gonna get the chance." Gohan said.

He held his hand over his head.

Some yellow ki formed above...

Then, he brought it down to his waist, charging it even more.

It got much bigger and stronger.

Chrysalis kinda just... played dead, and-

Then she tried to fly off again!

Then, he jumped back and blasted!

Chrysalis used her horn.

It glowed green...

The blast got really close...

Then, she teleported to a place far, far away.

The blast collided with the small hill, and-

BAKOOM!

Small pebbles flew everywhere.

There was smoke and debris...

There goes that piece of land.

"Damn it..." Gohan muttered.

'I can't sense her anymore, either...' He thought.

"What are you doing here?" Twilight asked.

Gohan looked over his shoulder...

Then he turned around completely.

Everyone but the changelings and a select few ponies were really surprised.

Staring at him...

"...Hi, Twilight." Gohan said.

"It's been a while..." He added.

...

...

"...You know this thing?" Rainbow Dash asked.

I thought, I thought, I thought, but that free time went down the drain, fuck.

I'm sorry. Even with all this wait, I'm not sure this part is written right.
