Ah, what a great day.

It's about a week and a half until whatever holiday break begins.

It's snowing!

Not enough for no school, sadly.

Gohan kinda looks like the asshole who wears shorts when it's -40 degrees outside, but it's his nature.

At least he has long pants.

He was sitting on the Nimbus, most of his wounds healed.

Also his nature.

It looks like he was going through a blizzard because he was just zooming through the skies.

Once he finally got into Canterlot, he slowed it down.

And on the sidewalk was Fluttershy, moving along with a green hat, green winter coat, and purple mittens.

He noticed her, so...

"Fluttershy!" He called as he hopped off the yellow cloud.

It flew itself off into the distance.

Fluttershy looked up to see Gohan falling down towards her.

She waved, and he landed very gently.

"Good morning." She said.

"Good morning." Gohan said back.

The two just started walking together.

"It looks like the holidays are coming up soon..." Fluttershy said.

"Yep." Gohan said.

"What are you going to do?" Fluttershy asked.

"Nothing special. Other than a holiday feast." Gohan said.

"Oh... I think Pinkie might throw another party or something." Fluttershy said.

"As expected." Gohan said.

"Why aren't you wearing a coat?" Fluttershy asked.

"I've trained myself to handle the cold... Spent a few winters at Mt. Frappe. Eventually, my coat got buried underneath a ton of snow, so I had to deal with it." Gohan said.

Fluttershy smiled.

"Why am I not surprised?" She asked.

"You're used to me, I understand." Gohan said, smiling back.

The two continued their commute, while some others were already at school.

Applejack and Sunset were already inside, going to their lockers, conveniently next to each others'.

They were still in coats and stuff.

Applejack had her cowboy hat and brown coat, while Sunset had an orange scarf and a black coat.

"Ah, I love winter." Applejack said.

"Hot cocoa, the smell of new snow, burning wood in the fireplace... The best part is just being home with the family." She said.

"Isn't that the best?" She asked Sunset.

"I wouldn't know. I haven't been home for the holidays in a long time." Sunset said.

"Oh. Right... Do they have the same holidays back, uh... home?" Applejack asked.

"I mean, the names are different, but very similar. Everybody gets together with their families in winter." Sunset said, opening her locker.

"Even before I came here, I wasn't very close to my family. And the few first years here... Well, who would I be close to?" She asked.

She put some books, her scarf, and her coat in there.

"I see..." Applejack said.

"Can't blame anyone for hating me." Sunset said.

"You've been alone on the holidays all this time?" Applejack asked.

"Yep." Sunset said.

"That's just awful..." Applejack said.

"Well, don't worry. I have you guys now!" Sunset said.

"See you around." She said, walking away.

"...See ya." Applejack said, feeling bad.

...But that gave her an idea.

She immediately opened up her phone and opened up a group chat with all of her friends excluding Sunset.

Gohan doesn't have a phone, so he's obviously not there either.

She wrote:

"Hey girls! Friendship emergency! Let's meet in the library after school, but don't tell Sunset, and make sure you bring Gohan, Fluttershy."

Hit send, and...

Beeps.

Well, the library, right after school.

The girls and one guy all gathered around the table with the computers...

"So what's the emergency, Applejack? With Sunset?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Well, she's definitely lonely around the holidays... I think we can help with that." Applejack said.

"What's the plan...?" Gohan asked.

"Slumber parties." Applejack said.

"We have slumber parties at everyone's houses, leading up to one big slumber party at Sweet Apple Acres!" She said.

"Yeah!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Sounds like a lovely idea!" Rarity said.

"I'd love to!" Fluttershy said.

"...Obviously you can't come to mine." Gohan said.

"...Also I might not be able to go to all of them." He added.

"I can understand the first one, I don't think any of us want to cross your mother... No offense." Rarity said.

"None taken. It's not too special, but near Christmas, before the Androids, at least, we used to go and hunt for- Uh..." Gohan said, before realizing Fluttershy existed.

"...You can continue." Fluttershy said.

"...Right, hunt for the freshest fish, dinosaurs, anything, and pick most of the vegetables on the farm." Gohan said.

"Then my mother would turn all the ingredients into the biggest holiday meal." He said.

"...How long does that take?" Applejack asked.

"Well, bef-" Gohan said, before he bit his tongue.

'Dang it, don't talk about dad!' He thought.

"...About a few days." He said.

"It takes a while to traverse the planet and hunt at the same time." He added.

"I see." Rarity said.

"...Besides, I don't think my mother would be on board with more than one slumber party." Gohan said.

"...But you guys do your thing with Sunset, I think she'd really appreciate it." He added.

"Fluttershy, I don't think I've ever met your family." Rainbow Dash said.

"Really? Well, they-" "-OOH! OOOH! OOOOH! Me first!" Pinkie interrupted.

"Parties are my life!" She said.

"Yeah, we could tell." Rainbow Dash joked.

"Uh... Sure." Applejack said.

"Great! I'll tell Sunset! But I'm forcing you to come!" Pinkie yelled, pointing at Gohan.

"Uh... You can't just force me to-" "-Too late!" Pinkie said.

...Well, it's Pinkie's house.

This whole room has been decorated with balloons and good crap.

"Pinkie, you really went all out..." Sunset said.

"Nothing but the best for my pals!" Pinkie said.

"How did you guess my mom would say yes...?" Gohan asked.

"Just a hunch!" Pinkie said.

Rainbow Dash just sprinted towards the tv.

"Dibs on the games!" She yelled.

She grabbed the two controllers, and Fluttershy just happened to be nearby, so...

"Here, Fluttershy, you try a round." She said.

"Uh... I don't think-" "-Come on! It'll help you relax!" Rainbow Dash interrupted.

"Thank you, but-" "-Look! You can play as a fuzzy bunny with a monster truck!" She interrupted again.

Well...

"...I will destroy all my enemies."

'...Where did this come from...?' Gohan thought.

The three of them sat in front of the tv while everyone else did stuff like eating, chatting, and other things.

...Eventually, Fluttershy got too competitive and...

Rainbow Dash just stopped the game because Fluttershy kept losing and getting salty.

"Uh... I think you need to lie down for a bit." Rainbow Dash said.

"U-Use the limit break, Mr. Fuzzles...!" Fluttershy said, still grasping the controller in her hands.

Rainbow Dash waved her hand in front of Fluttershy's face...

No response.

"Uh..." She said.

Gohan just snatched the controller out of her hands...

"I'm still playing..." Fluttershy said.

"The game is literally off." Gohan said.

"When should we have scary stories time?" Pinkie asked.

"Er... Maybe after dinner." Sunset said.

"Can we tone it down this time...?" Fluttershy asked.

"How many times do we have to 'tone it down' for you?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I've really only been here once... We didn't do that last time, right?" Gohan asked.

"Nah. I'm sure you have some scary stories, right?" Pinkie asked.

"...Maybe scary if you were there." Gohan said.

"You can try." Applejack said.

A few knocks on the door...

Pinkie opened it to see her sister carry a bunch of pizza boxes.

"The sixteen pizzas you ordered are here." Maud said.

She sounds completely different than Pinkie...

"Oh, Maud, you're the best sister ever!" Pinkie said.

"The grease is dripping on my shoes." Maud said.

Ah, it's getting late.

Pajamas for everyone.

Sunset had a purple shirt and orange pants, Pinkie had a blue nightgown, Rarity had a pink nightgown, Fluttershy had green pajamas, Rainbow Dash wore blue shorts, Applejack had green pajamas, and Gohan had his light blue pajamas.

"Phew... I wonder what you guys are gonna do for the holidays." Sunset said, lying on the bed.

"You're hanging out with us!" Pinkie said, before shoving more pizza into her mouth.

"Huh?" Sunset asked.

"Thanks for spoiling it, Pinkie." Applejack said, getting her nails polished by Rarity.

"We were gonna invite ya to more parties for the holidays." She said.

"So that you wouldn't feel alone." Fluttershy said, brushing Rainbow Dash's hair.

"Hold still, Rainbow." She said.

Sunset smiled...

"Thanks... It's great to have you guys as friends." She said.

"It's great to have friends in general." Gohan said, just sitting on the floor.

'I really miss them.' He thought.

"Ah, it means a lot." Applejack said.

"Having friends to support me ma-"

Ring ring ring, ring ring ring.

Damn it, who's phone is that?

Applejack answered her phone and put it on speaker.

"Whoever y'all are, you just ruined a real heartwarming moment." She said.

"Hey, big sis."

It was Applebloom on the other line.

"Granny wanted me to call and make sure you're doing alright." She said.

"Of course I am! Tell Granny to quit worrying!" Applejack said.

"Alright, alright, I'm just the messenger." Applebloom said.

"Have a good night... Piggly Wiggly." She said.

"Piggly Wiggly...?" Gohan asked.

"Ugh... Yeah." Applejack said.

"Why?" Sunset asked.

"I was hoping I wouldn't have to tell the story again, but... When I was real little, I used to follow Granny Smith around when she was doing chores. Especially when she fed the pigs. So, one day, I snuck into the pigpen and started playing with the pigs." Applejack said.

"I guess I stayed in there for hours. So she started calling me that, and it stuck. Applebloom likes using it when she thinks I'm getting to big for my britches. Well, that's family for you. Gotta take the good with the bad." She said.

"...Speaking of family..." Fluttershy said, looking towards Gohan.

"What are your parents really like?" She asked.

"...Well, my mother is actually a very kind person." Gohan said.

"...I don't believe you." Rainbow Dash said.

"She dealt with my father, and she deals with me. She'll help anyone out." Gohan said.

"It's only when she's mad when she's scary." He added.

"And your dad?" Pinkie asked.

"Well... He was a really kind person too. He was just really dumb, but never had bad intentions." Gohan said.

"...Why are you talking in the past tense?" Rarity asked.

Gohan's eye twitched a little and he smiled awkwardly.

"He's not... gone, is he?" Fluttershy asked.

"N-No!" Gohan lied.

"Like I said before! Just defending another place...! He'll come back one day..." He said.

'For one day...' He thought.

'I'm honestly hoping his body isn't as bad as it was before he died.' He thought.

It was convincing enough for Applejack not to notice, so...

"...What about you guys?" Gohan asked.

"...Wait, actually, we should get to sleep... It's already ten." He said.

"That's so early!" Rainbow Dash said.

"What?" Gohan asked.

"Well, I'm going to bed. You'd be wise to do the same." He said.

"Nope!" Pinkie said.

"G'night." Applejack said.

"We're gonna talk about our parents while you sleep! You sure you don't wanna stay up?" Pinkie asked.

"I'm sure. No offense, but I don't want to be tired tomorrow." Gohan said.

The next morning...

Back at school, the halls are crowded.

Only one guy is actually not tired.

"I told you so." He said.

"Shut up." Rainbow Dash said.

"We probably should've listened to you." Applejack said.

Then, right from the crowd of students...

"Piggly Wiggly."

"Who said that?" Applejack asked.

"Who the fuck said that!? Who's the slimy little communist shit twinkle toed cocksucker down here who just signed his own death warrant!?"

Applejack looked around and nobody responded...

Some people were laughing.

"Did someone just...?" She asked.

"You never told anyone, right...?" Gohan asked.

"Sis! Sis!" A familiar voice called.

Applebloom came running up to Applejack with her phone.

"You gotta see this!" She said.

Applejack looked closer, and...

"Did you guys know when AJ was a kid she loved playing with her pigs? OMG! She sat in the mud for hours! Her whole family calls her 'Piggly Wiggly' cause she loves them so much! What a PIG!"

"Well... Ugh. This ain't gonna bother me. Little teasing can't do any harm." Applejack said.

"Well, whatever, but who is this Anon-A-Miss? How did she know your nickname?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Why would she post it online? That's just cruel..." Fluttershy said.

"How do we know her gender...?" Gohan asked.

"We'll talk about it after school." Applejack said, looking down.

"Let us know if we can help, AJ." Sunset said.

"Sure..." Applejack said.

She and her sister walked away, and the others went their separate ways.

"So... This Anon-A-Miss..." Applebloom said.

"What about her?" Applejack asked.

"Well, the only people who knew about the nickname was us and your friends... Did you tell anyone else?" Applebloom asked.

"Nope. Positive. What are you getting at?" Applejack asked.

"Well, Sunset only heard the story last night... And the colors on Anon-A-Miss's page are the same as Sunset's hair." Applebloom said.

"Applebloom, that's my friend you're accusing there." Applejack said.

"Just a thought." Applebloom said.

"Hmm... Well, see you after school." Applejack said.
