The light blue pegasus slowly rose to her hooves, her legs slightly bruised from her multiple landings. 'That's the third time, good job Rainbow Crash.' She thought to herself as she brought her vision up. She was stood in an empty field, above her hovered a grand collection of clouds, artfully crafted together forming a classical monument that made up her home. The home she could no longer reach. Rainbow Dash sighed as she stared towards the fluffy architecture. “Why have I gotten so weak?” It had been over a week since she began having trouble flying, and now she couldn't even reach her own home.

“Rainbow.” The struggling mare knew that voice anywhere, she broke from her sadness as she looked over her shoulder. An orange mare was slowly walking up to her, as she approached she threw her strong legs around the pegasus, staring into her violet eyes. “Ah see y’all still  having trouble with ya wings.” Applejack stated rather than questioned as she dipped towards Rainbow Dash, bringing their mouths together for a kiss.

It was 5 months ago on Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack's farm when it began. As usual Applejack was busy apple bucking, she always thought of herself as the best apple bucker, and best athlete in general. She could keep at her job knocking down every apple in a field without even a pant, even her stronger brother couldn't match her skill. Applejack knew she was the fittest pony and loved knowing it.

Then, as usual, she noticed a lone cloud floating overhead. She knew what this single cloud was for, which brought a slight annoyance to her when it turned out to be true, like always. “Bit slow today aren't ya, runner up.” The voice came through the thin cloud, even though she couldn't see the pegasus she knew who it was. Rainbow Dash.

“And ah see ya still just layin' around instead of clearing my skies.” Applejack yelled up at the cloud, just far enough away to prevent her from leaping at it. “I'm going at just a fine pace, y'all haven't even started.” She stated grinning up at the cloud, she knew this would annoy the blue pegasus.

To answer her bait Rainbow flew into the air, hovering beside the cloud she was laying on. “I did Ponyville as soon as I woke up! I just thought you would need a cloud to cool you off as you took all day!” Rainbow was clearly annoyed, Applejack always knew how to get her emotional.

“An' ya woke up hours late for work again.” Applejack could see the emotions rushing through the blue pegasus, she always loved teasing her like this, she knew Rainbow deserved it with her arrogant mood and lazy attitude.

Rainbow kicked the cloud beside her, exploding it in a small puff as she flew down pointing her face into the earth pony that repeatedly mocked her. “What does it matter! I've done my job you haven't done yours! Who do you think won here Applejack?!” Rainbow's voice began to become squeaky as she struggled to keep her cool. Applejack merely looked her back in the eyes with a satisfied grin.

“This's next weeks work, I'm already days ahead, Rainbow.” Applejack wanted to burst out laughing as she saw the pegasus' expression, she was struggling for words unable to even speak. As the seconds passed Applejack could no longer keep it in, she started laughing towards the floor, bringing up a hoof to point at the defeated pegasus as she looked her back in the eyes. She could tell her rival was going to explode at any second, which just made her victory all the sweeter.

Rainbow fell to the floor landing on her hooves with a loud stomp as she threw her face towards the orange pony that laughed at her. “Yeah! Well I could be years ahead if weather could be done early like your easy apples!” As she stared into her emerald eyes, her face nearly touching her rivals gaze she saw her eyes lighten up.

“So y'all think this is easy eh? Go on then you do it.” Applejack remained calm to the insult, knowing Dash would have to accept a challenge she couldn't beat.

Rainbow Dash looked at her slightly withdrawing her head. “Phh, as if you just want me to do your work for you! I get it your too tired to do any more, so much for the work pony!” Her arrogant tone soon broke hearing Applejack's reply.

“Your weak pegasus legs are only good for buckin' soft clouds then? They'll probably just break tryin' to hit a hard tree.” Applejack saw the rainbow blur shoot past her again as it stopped near the next tree on her list.

“You'll regret those words, Applejack!” Rainbow's voice was becoming increasingly high pitched as she continued to be baited into the work ponies game. She drew her hooves in, leaned forward and with a hard thrust kicked backwards into the vulnerable apple tree. Several apples fell around her, and as she heard the sounds of the sweet fruits hitting the floor, she threw her hooves into the air in celebration. “Told you, I'm the best!”

Applejack burst out laughing again as she pointed at the tree. “Y'all call that a buckin'? That's five apples max!” Rainbow Dash stopped her celebration as she looked up at her victim, to her annoyance the majority of the apples still remained clinging onto the tree. Applejack made her way over as she stopped laughing and pushed the pegasus aside. “Make way for a real buckin'.” She stated, as she quickly reared up and kicked the tree, every apple dropped towards the floor causing a satisfying cascading melody. Applejack brought one front hoof behind the other while giving a small smile to her rival.

Rainbow Dash stared for a few seconds thinking how sweet her smile looked, before realizing she had just been beaten, she can't be beaten. “Yeah? Well I weakened them!” She yelled as she flew over to the next tree in line, she brought her legs in again and brought all her strength to kick the tree, she wouldn't fail this time.

A handful of apples fell to the floor. “Rainbow, ah think ya just not cut out for this are ya?” Applejack stated happily as she made her way over to the pegasus to finish off her tree.

“I can do this! I weakened them again and this time I'm going to get them just watch!” The pegasus brought her legs back for a second kick, the tree dropped only a few more apples. “It's just a set back!” She kicked the tree a third time. “It's just a harder tree!” She continued kicking, barely a single apple falling for each kick. Applejack just looked on, she thought it cute how much her friend was trying and failing just to fit her own image.

Applejack broke from her thoughts laughing slightly at them as she continued to the next tree in the line. “Ah'll just work on the rest of the farm while y'all keepin' that tree busy.” The work pony laughed lightly, knowing she would be done before Rainbow Dash had gotten every apple down. She approached the tree and readied herself to kick it.

“No! I don't need the help!” Rainbow Dash flew away from her tree, flying straight into Applejack forcing her into the tree. The collision shook the tree loosening several apples. “I don't need you to foal sit me I can do this alone! Just because you have more experience doesn't mean anything!” The forceful mare noticed Applejack didn't seem to be paying attention to her, she was just staring at her, but not with hatred or annoyance. Confused she pushed Applejack harder against the tree, her hooves holding her at the chest slightly raised into the air. “Hey are you listening? I said I don't need-” Rainbow's wording was cut short when one of the loose apples fell and landed on the back of her head. The sudden impact threw her towards Applejack, as her still open mouth came to a stop surrounding Applejack's own.

Several seconds past as Rainbow Dash began to realise what she was doing, her hooves were forcing her friend into the tree, her mouth forced itself around her own. 'Oh hay this isn't good.' Rainbow feared what she had done and thought to pull out, but strangely there was no struggling, no hint of rejection. 'She, likes this?' Dash continued with her accidental embrace, the thoughts of pulling out slowly left her as she began thinking about it. 'I've never been with a filly, well anyone before, I guess this could be good, and she is, kind of, beautiful.' Dash began moving her tongue, she reached out slightly licking Applejack's still closed mouth. Her mouth slowly opened as she licked over it. 'I guess, like this?' She slowly moved her tongue inside Applejack's mouth, gently feeling around her inside. It tasted good, very good.

Rainbow Dash continued exploring her rival, her tongue spreading through her mouth until it reached something. A hot wet feeling touched her tongue and it soon began to overtake her, pushing her tender muscle around, running over her, sliding along side her. She knew it was Applejack's own tongue, completely desiring hers as if it was a sweet apple treat. All the feelings of worry left her as Applejack took over, their mouths soon closed around each others tighter as Rainbow Dash forced her grip even stronger. She could feel the orange mare's breathing intensify through her hooves, she pulled her own body towards her, moving her legs around the tree truck to keep their bodies close.

Several minutes passed as the rivals embrace continued, even to this new and exciting event their athletic prowess kept them going, neither wanting to break apart their deep kiss. Rainbow Dash forced herself even deeper into Applejack, hearing her moaning through their locked mouths. She knew she was would win. The hungering pegasus had taken flight hovering into the tree, beating her extended wings furiously to the feeling she was both giving and receiving. Her hooves barely keeping the two attached to the tree as she threatened to take off, each beat blowing cool air into the orange mare, giving her even more pleasure. Inevitably, Applejack could no longer contain her joy as she broke out from the kiss screaming. “Rainbow!” She threw her head against the tree trunk as Rainbow Dash continued kissing and licking her neck, not yet fully satisfied.

Rainbow Dash stopped enjoying herself as she noticed Applejack's heavy panting and her continued moaning, especially moaning her name. Dash grew a large grin as she brought her rivals head to meet hers. “I told you, I'm the best.”

As the days passed the rivals continued their passionate meetings. As the weeks passed the girlfriends confessed their love. As the months passed the lovers desired nothing more than to be by their mates side, and to have a foal of their own.

Applejack brought herself out from the kiss, gently passing her hoof through her lovers rainbow mane. “It's okay, y'all can sleep over my house again.” She brought her hoof across the pegasus light blue coat. “Gives us the excuse to make love anyway.” She smiled, as she gently massaged Rainbow's expanded chest.

Rainbow Dash gently swatted her lovers hoof away. “Please, don't remind me of, that.”

“Rainbow, dear. It's not healthy to ignore ya weight.” Applejack began speaking with concern.

“Please!” Dash walked a step backwards. “I just, I can't fly due to...that.” She sighed as she lowered herself to the floor.

“Rainbow, Ah've been noticing lately, y'all been eating.” Applejack tried speaking again before being interrupted.

“I've been eating everything right! I've always eaten healthy stuff!” Rainbow raised her voice slightly, about as much as she could ever raise it to Applejack now, she could never get angry with her any more.

“It's not what ya eating. But how much” Applejack walked over and slowly brought Rainbow Dash to her hooves, she voluntarily rose for her. “Y'all been eating twice as much for a few weeks, ah think ah might know what it is, ah say we should go see Twilight.”

Rainbow Dash grew a small smirk as she nodded to her lover. “I guess she's the only one who will not say it's, weight.” She knew as well as Applejack that Twilight was the best person for advice, for anything but relationships at least. “Okay, let's go see her.”

Rainbow Dash and Applejack walked flank to flank through Ponyville, Rainbow could see several ponies looking at her through the corner of her eyes. Ponyville in general were accepting of their love. So she knew it was about her chest, growing slightly over the last weeks to now ruin her flying. She did notice many mares looked at her with a happy expression, usually the ones walking along side their foals. They were mostly thin so she thought their interest odd.

Eventually they reached Ponyville Library, the tree and makeshift home of their bookworm friend. They could already hear sounds of levitating tomes being thrown around from outside the door, they breathed in before knocking on the oak door. “Just a minute! No wait, not that, argh come back later!”

“Twilight it's me an' Rainbow Dash, we need help!” Applejack yelled at the door in return. Seconds later a lavender light surrounded the door, opening it for them to enter.

“I'm sorry it's just been so hectic I can't find this thing anywhere, and Spike is off with the Crusaders doing something again leaving me alone, oh I'll never find my journal!” Twilight continued throwing books around with her magic, knocking more down with each pass.

Applejack looked over to her left, a table with an ink pot, quill and a book lay ready. “Beg ya pardon Twilight, but is this it?” The small black book became surrounded in her lavender magic and flew over to Twilight, who smiled happily.

“Yes! Thank you.” The lavender unicorn looked around the room at the devastation she had caused before shrugging it off as work for Spike. “So, what can I help you with?” Twilight asked as she closed the door behind her guests.

“Ah'll tell her.” Applejack smiled as she hugged her lover. “Well Twilight, Rainbow's been eating twice her amount lately, and she's been gaining this, weight, and she can't fly any more, it's been a few weeks now an' we are getting concerned. Do ya know what it could be?”

Twilight walked over to Rainbow Dash and felt her expanded chest, as she pulled her hoof away she smiled at the pegasus. “Oh it's nothing to be afraid of, it just means it's working fine.”

Rainbow Dash looks up slightly worried at Twilight “What do you mean, 'it's working', what's working? What did you do to me?”

Twilight smiled gleefully, clapping her hooves together. “Oh I'm so glad it worked, I've never tried it before your foal is going to be so adorable!”

“My, my, my what?” Rainbow began stuttering. “did, you, foal?”

Twilight kept her smile as she looked her friend in the eyes. “Yes Dash! Your going to have a foal! You’re pregnant!”

Applejack leaped onto her lover, hugging her even closer as she began screaming. “Yes! Rainbow we're gonna have a foal!” She began crying slightly from the joy she felt as she embraced her pegasus closely, even the first time making love was having a hard time beating this moment for her.

“You.” Rainbow began to worry more, becoming hysterical. “You made me pregnant?!”

“Yes.” Twilight responded happily.

“You impregnated me?!”

“No I didn't, no, no I wouldn't dream of it. Applejack impregnated you, I just made it possible!” Twilight slightly lost her smile before regaining it, she hadn't really expected her magic to work with this.

Rainbow lost her hysterical nature, returning to worry and confusion. “What, how is that even possible?”

“Well.” Twilight began. “Remember three weeks ago when you told me how you wish you were a colt so you could give Applejack a foal.” She waited for both her guest's nods before she continued. “Well, I did some research and found out that unicorns can breed regardless of sex if their magic of love is strong enough. So I took that information and tried seeing if it was possible for a unicorn with enough magic for both, to be able to do the same for a couple who weren't unicorns.” Twilight smiled happily at the lovers holding each other. “It worked!”

“But.” Dash sounded worried and slightly annoyed. “I said I wanted to give Applejack the foal, not have it myself!”

“You said give Applejack a foal, and you are going to.” Twilight responded, oblivious to her friend’s request.

“But, but I can't give birth! Look at me, I can't fly! Can't you give it to Applejack?!” Dash began to feel weak mentioning her problem.

“You want me to put your womb into your mate?” Twilight asked awkwardly.

“Err...no.” Dash replied, feeling equally awkward, as she sighed lightly to the knowledge she wouldn't be able to fly for a long time.

“Good.” Twilight responded seriously, before returning to her happier tone. “I am sorry about not being able to fly, I was hoping it wouldn't happen but sadly that's the problem with pegasi birthing earth ponies, they are just to heavy compared to the lighter pegasi.”

Both Rainbow Dash and Applejack picked up on what Twilight just said, Applejack felt slightly worried as she looked at her lover. “I'm...It's a earth pony, inside me?” Rainbow Dash spoke quietly.

“Yes, that's the problem with inter-kind breeding sadly, it's the only applicable problem with it, well that and more painful birth, but it is very problematic if it does happen. It would explain everything.” Twilight noticed Rainbow Dash trailed off, becoming lost in thought.

“Rainbow, ah'm so sorry, ah know how much ya wanted a pegasus.” Applejack kissed her lover on her neck as she brought her in to hug her closely.

“I have, an earth pony inside me.” Rainbow Dash looked up to her mate, looking her in the eyes as she began to cry softly. “I have, I have you inside me.” She burst out crying as she was being hugged, her tears wetting Applejack's coat as she held her. “I've, I've never been so happy. I love you Applejack.”

Applejack began to cry herself, as she petted her lover and mate in her legs. “Ah'm happy y'all are happy with my little foal. It's so. Ah love ya Rainbow Dash.” Applejack didn't know what else to say, she had given a foal to Rainbow Dash, and she loved her and the foal. Her dreams were coming true, if not the way they intended. They had finally come true.

Twilight didn't know much of romance, but she did know enough to leave the young couple alone as she headed upstairs to read a book by her bed. She couldn't wait until Rainbow Dash gave birth, it was both adorable, and also interesting for her to find out how else her magic might have influenced it.

Several months slowly passed. At first Rainbow Dash continued her life on the ground along side her lover, helping her as she worked in the farm. As the months passed Applejack began to work less, Big Macintosh worked over time to allow his sister to spend time with her lover, who became bed ridden. Their little earth pony becoming to much of a strain for the more fragile pegasus body. As the time came closer to the date of foalbirth, Rarity had come to spend time by Rainbow Dash's side, offering her comfort and advice, keeping herself ready for the date their foal would come.

Rainbow lay in bed, looking outside the window to the clear blue sky. It had been months now since she last flew, and several weeks since she could last freely move. She lay in bed with Applejack at her side, stroking her mane. She loved Applejack and wished she wasn't such a burden. But as Applejack had already said many times. 'You would do the same for me.' Rainbow smiled as she lay back. It had been a long time since they last made love as they used to, as much as she loved the gentle things, she still wished for the day she could have the real fun again.

Rarity was sitting across the room reading a romance novel. She looked up to Rainbow Dash who had begun quaking and turning in bed. 'Is it time?' She thought to herself as she looked at the blue pony. Several seconds passed before her question answered itself. The pegasus began screaming in pain and Applejack quickly called for the white unicorn. Rarity ran to the open window, her horn began to glow as she let out a long trail of light, the illusion provided the signal for the foalbirth. Rarity rushed over to the bed, leaning over Rainbow Dash as she began to concentrate her magical power. A soft wave of white light began to float around the pegasus' head, her screams died down to small moans. She couldn't fully stop the pain, but she had made it bearable. Rarity continued to concentrate her magic from her horn, keeping this spell going for as long as possible. This was the reason a unicorn was always needed at the side of a pegasus-earth birth, and she accepted her duty for her friend.

Applejack lay by her lovers side, providing comfort and security to the scared pegasus. Rainbow Dash managed to open her eyes, and her mate made sure she was there to be seen. “It's okay Rainbow, everything's gonna be fine. Ah know it hurts, but if anyone can do this, y'all can, and ah'm here for ya.” Applejack smiled at her lover, she could see Rainbow trying to smile behind her pain, she needed to make sure to keep her happy until the others got here.

Several minutes passed as the sound of approaching ponies could be heard. Rarity was becoming exhausted keeping her magic on such a powerful spell. 'Twilight would not let it fail, I can't let it fail.' She could feel her power weakening, her concentration slowly beginning to fail her. 'I'm sorry Rainbow Dash.' Her magic failed, as she felt herself falling weak. She feared her friends screaming would come back, but there was none. She managed to bring her focus up to see a soft lavender light surrounding Rainbow Dash's head, the beautiful lavender unicorn taking away her pain. She noticed Twilight's loving gaze, and smiled back towards her. “Thank you, Twilight.” Rarity's head fell to the bed as sleep soon took over.

Twilight Sparkle smiled as the beautiful unicorn fell to sleep, she had performed the most vital role in the birth, and felt sorry she would miss out on the event. Twilight kept Rainbow Dash's pain to a minimum, but enough to still feel for birth. She glanced over at the new ponies entering the room, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie slowly made their way inside, followed closely by Ponyville's nurse and doctor, there was also a third medical pony, a unicorn with a cutie mark of an earth pony, graced by two wings. To Twilight's joy, the final ponies to enter the room were two angelic Allicorns, who smiled as they made their way over to the bed. “Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, it is an honour.” Twilight didn't bow to avoid affecting her calming magic.

The white Allicorn smiled to her favourite student as she spoke in her inspiring voice. “Greetings Twilight Sparkle. The pleasure is all ours. We wouldn't miss the birth between two Elements of Harmony.” She looked over towards the unicorn doctor. “This is Doctor Cection, he is a specialist in pegasus-earth births.” She brought her gaze to the couple, Rainbow Dash focusing as much as she could on her ruler. “Everything will go fine, Rainbow Dash, Applejack. You have my promise.”

Rarity awoke to the sound of a foal crying. As she opened her eyes, she saw a room filled with her friends, the Princesses and three doctors. She noticed the doctor slowly rose from the back of the bed, with a towel in his hooves.

Rainbow Dash's pain slowly began to leave her as Twilight finally allowed herself to stop concentrating on her magic, she had grown exhausted herself like Rarity had, she noticed Rainbow's gaze over to the doctors, and that of Applejack hugging her closely. They both stared towards the doctors, cleaning the crying foal. It seemed like an eternity to the young couple as the seconds past. Then finally they saw the doctors smile facing them. “Rainbow Dash, Applejack. It's a filly.”

The doctor slowly brought over their foal in the towel, handing her over to her parents. Rainbow Dash took her daughter in her legs, gently holding her as she lay up in bed. Applejack held a leg around her lover, and placed the other around her daughter. They both looked down at their foal. A beautiful little earth filly, with a cute bright orange coat, a soft rainbow mane and adorable emerald eyes. As the couple lay together holding their newborn filly. The other ponies gathered around each taking a quick touch of their beautiful foal.

“Oh it's so cute, even cuter than the little animals.” Fluttershy had a hard time stopping herself from pulling the foal away for a hug, she blushed at the idea and just petted it's soft mane.

“She really does take after you, Applejack.” Rarity replied as she pushed off a yawn, petting the small foal. “Truly beautiful. I can't wait to make clothing for her.”

“This realllllllllllllllly calls for a party, but, I guess I should let you rest first.” Pinkie Pie said with a sigh. “We will have it tomorrow then!” She happily stated as she bounced around the room.

“Hmm.” Twilight examined the foal as she petted it. “I guess all my magic did was provide the chance then.” Twilight sighed softly, “It would have been interesting if something changed.”

Applejack laughed lightly as she hugged Twilight. “Thank you, Twilight.”

Princess Luna approached cautiously, noticing the Elements of Harmony were smiling she continued and petted the little filly. “I suppose in a way I am responsible for this cute pony.” She giggled lightly at her own statement as she saw the appreciation in the couples eyes. “She will grow to be as nice as you two.” She replied as she returned to her sisters side.

Applejack laughed lightly. “If that's the case, she'll be arrogant.” The other ponies laughed as Rainbow Dash smiled, her full attention taken up by the foal she had just given birth to. Applejack rested her head back on her lovers side. “Ah love ya Rainbow Dash.”

“I love you Applejack.” Rainbow responded smiling, as Applejack's head came into her vision, kissing her lover shortly, before they both returned their attention to their foal.

Princess Celestia spoke up facing Twilight. “Twilight Sparkle, don't worry about the report today, you have shown enough for a while.” She looked over at Rarity, looking Twilight in the eyes as if in a trance. “I believe you and Rarity have something to discuss tonight.” She smiled as she saw both unicorns looking at each other before blushing. 'Next foal of Harmony in about 12 months.' She thought to herself letting out a soft laugh.

“You fillies ready?” The light orange foal asked while throwing a small saddle pack over her friends heads, landing in the centre of the small red cart. She brought her front leg into the air in celebration of her perfect aim. The two fillies looked back to their friend smiling.

“I don't know really, I've never heard of ponies bungee jumping before.” The light lavender unicorn spoke, slightly worried to her friends obsession with always requesting the more athletic choices for crusading.

“Yeah, It'll be fun! It'll probably help with my flying also.” Giggling slightly, the pink pegasus made her way towards the door. “Let's go then!”

“Cutie Mark Crusader Bungee Jumping!” The three foals yelled as they ran out the door. “Bye mums!” The small orange filly yelled inside before closing the door behind her.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack smiled to their foal as she and her friends left the house. Rainbow's smile faded as she began to grow a large grin, facing up at Applejack. “Well, we got this place all to ourselves.” She brought her hooves across her lovers neck.

“Ah thought ya were never gonna ask.” Applejack happily responded as she leaned towards Rainbow Dash. Suddenly she found herself flying across the room landing on the couch, her legs being forced down by the pegasus. “Oh, ya want it like the first time.” She happily stated, looking into her lovers hungry violet eyes. Her eyes soon came closer as Dash brought their mouths together, surrounding each other as they began to kiss deeply.

“Yeah.” Dash began licking Applejack's neck slightly nibbling as she made her way across. “You are so adorable when you're powerless to me.” The pegasus found two hooves gripping the side of her head.

“If ya wanna stay on top, ya better can that voice Rainbow.” Applejack began laughing as she dropped her lovers head back down, moaning as she continued licking down her body. “Oh Rainbow.” Applejack began moaning deeper. “Ah love ya.”

Rainbow Dash brought her front hooves back gently, rubbing down her orange coat, nearing her thighs. “I love you too, Applejack.”
