A troubled engineer to a corrupt chapter of the Steel Rangers finds things out about his past, and while trying to fix prior mistakes and make things right for the wasteland, tries to discover the truth about his own, fleeting self.

A former Steel Ranger engineer by the name of Charger is lost in the mystery of his past, struggling through his present from realization of what is happening, and threatened by his future, while his life rests on Time. With his days counting down until he succumbs, he fights to find the truth of himself, and make things right for those he's wronged. All while trying to find his former lover, Snow Star.
As he wanders, he starts to find not only missing pieces of his life and things about the Steel Ranger bunker he grew up in, but mysteries of the wasteland he found himself in.
Life is easier to live with eyes closed.
Please note that this story steers away from the usual stories set in the Fallout Equestria setting.
