Millennia.

Equestria had known peace for a Millennia. Since the beginning of time immemorable, from when The Alicorn Sisters took the throne in the Cradle of Ponykind, they vowed this to be their goal;

A Millenial Peace.

Ponies have been taught to practice Harmony. This tradition gives birth to the Tree of Harmony, and their Elements.

And thus, Equestria was truly born as the haven of Ponykind.

As time passes, life flourishes in Equestria. Princess Twilight and her companions embody their respective Elements, they have maintained Peace across Equestria through the tenets of Harmonious Friendship. Their ideas shaped Equestria to be a modern utopia in the future. For the longest anypony could remember, life was good in Equestria.

Despite this—or maybe, because of this—dark clouds billow over the horizon.

In the Summer of 1011—nearly a decade after Chrysalis failed in Canterlot—the Changeling Hegemony announced that a state of war would exist between them and Equestria from here on out. From that moment forward, innocence in Equestria would be lost to a grand conflict of attrition and devastation.

For the first time in a millennia, Equestria is at war.

The story follows two Pegasus Mares: Sunshine Tempest, and Night Light. As they recall the events of 'The Great War,' they begin to unravel a sinister plot years in the making that threatens everything they fought for. They will overcome many trials and many triumphs. Pyrrhic victories and bitter losses. They fight not only for their survival but to change the world as they know it.

Yet the fate of that world remains uncertain...

This fic is for the "Equestria At War" Universe, complete with its very own lore and history of Equestria's world.

Second-hand knowledge of the universe is not required to enjoy the Fic, though I still highly recommend checking out the world of "Equestria at War" if you wish to truly appreciate what is being told.
