Dante reached out and caught the Lady who had nearly run them over with the bike at the being off the tower, as she fell from the sky. She promptly pointed a pistol and a machine gun at his chin. "Well, well," he said in amusement. "This is my kind of rain. No wonder the sky looks so funny today," he joked.

“...That was horrible.” Muttered Sunset/Symbol.

"Very unusual!" Rudra agreed with Dante, from where he was attached to Sunset/Symbol’s belt. "I through the human song was: It's Raining Men?"

“Now look what you’ve done!” Shouted Sunset/Symbol.

"She is Man!" Angi pointed out. "She is merely a female of the species."

"But the song refers specifically to the masculine gender!" Agni argued. "She is Woman!"

"No balls!" Cerberus agreed from Sunset/Symbol’s hammer space where all of her weapons were stored.

Dante groaned, putting his hand to his face.

Sunset/Symbol giggled at her brother’s discomfort. “Serves you right for making such a bad joke!” She waved at the lady. “Yo!”

The Lady, for her part, lowered her guns. "You can put me down now," she grimaced.

Smiling, Dante set her down on the platform, letting her get to her own feet. "At your service," he said jokingly.

The Lady chuckled, turning to leave.

"Now now, what's your rush?" Dante asked, dancing around into her path. "I did just save you from a grisly fate, after all."

"I had it under control," she countered.

“Yeah right!” Scoffed Sunset/Symbol.

"I'm sure you did," Dante teased.

"Brother!" Rudra spoke up. "The young Master's pheromones indicate he wishes to mate with the female!"

"You are correct!" Angi agreed with his brother as Dante groaned, knowing something embarrassing was about to happen. "As good hosts, we must facilitate his amorous endeavors! The Old Master would wish that of us!"

"Indeed!" Agni concurred.

‘Yeah, my old man would want you to embarrass me if I tried to get anywhere with a pretty girl.’ Dante privately agreed.

"How shall we facilitate?" Asked Angi

"Perhaps some appropriate music?" Rudra suggested.

"Capital idea!" Agni concurred. "Have you a song in mind?"

"Indeed I do!" Rudra proclaimed. "Cerberus! You shall accompany us musically!"

“Oh dear.” Groaned Sunset/Symbol.

Agni, Rudra, and Cerberus then began to perform what had to be the most inappropriate and most butchered song the three humanoids had ever heard. How the heck could a pair of guns and a hammer, axe and spear combo weapon fart?!

Dante groaned, burying his face in his hands as Sunset/Symbol fell to the floor laughing, holding her sides.

The Lady chuckled again. "Sorry, my life's nuts enough as is without joining this crazy train," She said, turning to leave.

Dante just groaned again in despair as his sister continued laughing.

As Lady left, Agni spoke up. "Do you think we succeeded, brother?"

"I do not know!" Rudra proclaimed. "Sunset, what are your thoughts?"

"Bye sis!" Called the Kamen Rider, waving to the door Lady had already left through.

"Success!" Agni proclaimed. “...Young master, why are you banging your head on that door? Ours would make better and more effective hammers if you asked the young mistress to lend us to you.”

Dante just groaned as he stomped through the door. The siblings jumped back down and got into a library, that was sealed by a blue barrier. They quickly smashed the damned chessmen and ran back up after grabbing the Orihalcon Fragment. Then jumped back up using the green glyphs and ran through the green door.

“Don’t fight them! Just run!” Shouted Sunset/Symbol as they ran past the damned chessmen, or at least tried to as the things quickly blocked their path.

“That didn’t work, woah!” Dante leaned back as a Pawn tried to chop his head off. “Hacker! Death coil!” He smashed that one with Rebellion and the other two pieces with several spinning slashes from the sword.

Sunset/Symbol blocked a blow from the Pawn by crossing Angi and Rudra in front of her faceplate. “I know that!” She kicked the demon back slide the giga ring onto the driver’s middle finger and pressed the left shift lever.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: GIGA PLEASE: BREAK THROUGH THE ICE!]

As the giga glyph rose up through her, she grabbed Cerberus and spun around, smashing all four of the Pawns to pieces with the axe side. The two Knight pieces jumped at her. Sunset respond by pulling open Cerberus’ hand author and sliding the giga ring onto its middle finger.

[COME ON AND SMASH STAB CRASH SHAKE HANDS: GIGA: SMASH STAB CRASH STRIKE!]

Green and icy blue aura gathered around the weapon as she threw it forwards, it spun through the air and smashed both Knight’s to pieces, before returning to her glove.

The siblings ran through another door, that was instantly sealed by a red barrier and then to a statue of a female that was surrounded by candles.

“Never seen anything like this.” Commented Sunset/Symbol, suddenly, new demons appeared behind them, they looked like humans wearing prisoner uniforms, carrying black coffins and wearing black masks. They slammed the coffins into the ground and the tops of them opened, ejecting sand like ghosts.

“Let's do it!” Sunset/Symbol ran forwards, but was blocked by a pair of Hell Prides. “Out of my way!” She slid the punch, drill, terra and quake rings onto the driver’s index, middle, ring and little fingers before kicking back one Hell Pride and forcing the other back by stabbing it with Cerberus’ spear part, then pressed the right shift lever.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: PUNCH DRILL TERRA QUAKE PLEASE!]

All four glyphs appeared under her feet and rose up through her. Sunset/Symbol punched one Hell Pride several times until it fell over and exploded. Then she pressed the right shift lever twice, the drill glyph flashed in front of the driver.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: DRILL MAGIC PLEASE!]

Her Knuckle Drills spun before Sunset/Symbol uppercutted the demon, sending it flying into the air where it exploded. Suddenly, sparks went flying off her body as the spirits attacked. “No you don’t!” She managed to swap the giga ring with the active ring and press the left shift lever.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: ACTIVE PLEASE: LETS GO!]

The active glyph appeared to her left and moved through her, with a grunt she let out a burst of red lightning that forced the spirits to back off. She slid the slasher and aqua rings onto the driver’s index and ring fingers, then hit the right shift lever.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: SLASHER AQUA PLEASE!]

She started slashing at the spirits, but the Hell Greed just kept making more and more! Sunset/Symbol took a glance over at Dante, he had destroyed both Hel Prides and was holding off the spirits with his guns, but it was clear he was going to be overwhelmed soon. “That's it! No more Miss nice Kamen Rider. Sunset/Symbol swapped the active ring for the burst ring and hit the left shift lever.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: BURST PLEASE: CAST THE SPELL!]

The glyph appeared behind her and knocked the spirits away, before they were able to close in again, Sunset/Symbol hit the right left shift lever four times. The burst glyph flashed in front of the driver.

[MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL: VERY NICE: BURST: S RANK SPELL: THE BEST!]

She teleported away. The Hell Greed looked around to try and find her when:

[TOUCH TO COMBINE: ADVANCED: 05: BREAKER! BLOCKER! BOUNDER! BLASTER!]

Hit as struck across the back by Cerberus in its nunchuck form as Sunset/Symbol landed on the ground. Then she noticed something. On her right hip was a silver wheel, with a red arrow at the top of it that pointed down and a silver switch on it’s left side. The wheel had golden outlines and three logos engraved on it in a triangle shape. At the top was Cerberus, to the right was the blades of Angi and Rudra and to the left was the demonic gun Artemis. “Wonder what this does.” She pressed the switch and the wheel spun, landing on Artemis.

The Cerberus vanished and Artemis appeared in her hand. “Nice!” She pressed the right shift lever once, making the breaker glyph flash in front of the driver.

[TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL: ARTEMIS BREAKER SPELL!]

Red aura appear covering Artemis, then when the trigger was pulled it turned into a blast of aura that smashed right through both of the Hell Greeds as they were standing in front of each other. Micro explosions went off from the impact point and the two demons fell over and exploded.

Dante was panting. “Nice work!” Suddenly another Hell Greed and a Hell Pride appeared! “You can’t be serious!”

“Leave this to me!” Ordered Sunset/Symbol as she pressed the right shift lever twice, the bounder glyph flashed in front of the driver.

[TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL: ARTEMIS BLOCKER SPELL!]

She fired several bolts of blue aura from Artemis that swirled together into a shield, blocking the sand spirits. Then she pressed the right shift lever three more times, the bounder glyph flashed in front of the driver.

[TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL: ARTEMIS BOUNDER SPELL!]

She fired a barrage of green aura bolts that curved around and smashed into the demons from behind, the Hell Pride went to its knees as it died. While the Hell Greed was badly damaged. Sunset/Symbol hit the right shift lever four times, the blaster glyph flashed in front of the driver.

[TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL: ARTEMIS BLASTER SPELL!]

“Acid rain!” Purple aura charged in front of Artemis’ barrel and was fired in an orb that floated into the air, stopping over the Hell Greed. It burst into a rain of aura beams that pierced through the Hell Greed destroying it.

With all of the demons beaten, the barriers blocking the doors broke apart.

“That was a wild ride”. Commented Dante.”

“Yeah.” Replied Sunset/Symbol. They ran over to the statue and picked up there Sirens Shriek.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: SWIFT PLEASE: DASH THROUGH THE FIRE AND WIND!]

This is the Siren's shriek!” Announced Angi as the swift glyph fell through Sunset/Symbol.

“Its has the power to destroy any form of flame.” Added Rudra.

“Wasn’t there a door block by fire back in the first chamber?” Asked Dante.

“Yeah,.” Sunset/Symbol looked at the guns. “You mean we’re going to have to backtrack all the way to the first chamber?!”

“Of course not, there is an evaluator in the next chamber.”

“You’d better be right.” Growled Dante. They went through the door and to the control panel, placing the Orihalcon Fragment into it. The elevator door opened and they ran into the. The transport took them down to the first chamber.

“Thank goodness.” They used the Siren’s Shriek to put out the flames and open the door, up a flight of stairs and into another chamber. They broke down a wall and set a wheel on fire, getting the Crystal skull.

“Another key?” Asked Dante.

“Likely.” Replied Sunset/Symbol. At that moment the door was blocked by another red barrier.

Dante ran at a Hell Greed. “Yeah!” Now that he knew how they fought, he had a much better time. He stabbed it several times with Rebellion.

Then spun around striking both it and a Hell Lust, knocking the latter back. The Hell Greed opened its coffin, releasing the spirits.

Dante smirked as he pulled out Kablooey, the Hell Greed suddenly noticed that it was surrounded by needles from the gun. The needles exploded violently as Dante pressed the gun’s second trigger. The explosions also detonated the spirits, destroying the Hell Greed that was at the centre of the blast and badly damaging the Hell Sloth. With a screech the Hell Sloth teleported behind Dante.

Who spun around the threw Rebellion at it, the blade pierced the demon and it shattered, before the sword returned to its owner.

Meanwhile Sunset/Symbol had swapped the swift ring for the burst ring and pressed the left shift lever.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: BURST PLEASE: CAST THE SPELL!]

The burst glyph appeared behind her and past through her. She fired a blast of pure purple aura, forcing the spirits and Hell Sloths back. Then she pressed the right shift lever three times, the burst glyph flashed in front of the driver.

[MAGICAL TOUCH SPELL: BURST: A RANK SPELL!]

She slammed her hand into the ground and a wall of earth burst up around her. Sunset/Symbol slid the petroleum and mirror rings onto the driver’s index and ring fingers, then pressed the right shift lever.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: PETROLEUM MIRROR PLEASE!]

Both glyphs appeared behind her and moved through her, just as the demon’s broke through the wall. She used the Liquid Reflection Sword to smash a Hell Sloth into a second Hell Sloth. Then she slide the petroleum and mirror rings onto the index and ring fingers of the Burst Staff.

[COME ON AND SPELL SHAKE HANDS: PETROLEUM MIRROR: SPELL STRIKE!]

A mirror appeared in front of her, taking the spirits that had been blasted at her and sending them back at the Hell Sloths, destroying them with loud explosions. Then Sunset/Symbol pressed the right shift lever twice, making the mirror glyph flash in front of the driver.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: MIRROR MAGIC PLEASE!]

A dome of petroleum formed around her, before the Hell Greed sent its spirits to attack, they hit the dome which exploded, the force of the explosion slammed into the Hell Greed, sparks flew from its body before it exploded.

“That was easier.” The barrier covering the door shattered and the siblings ran out of the room, down the stairs and through the door back in the first chamber, before getting back into the lift, which took them back to the chamber where they had first found it and back through another door. Where they were confronted by several demons.

Dante held Rebellion in a reverse grip and charged energy into it. Within seconds it was covered in red energy, before he slashed it forwards, firing a wave of energy at the Hell Greed. It roared in pain as the attack slammed into it.

Dante wasn’t done. He kicked the air and spread his arms to the side, gliding forwards on light blue wind. He landed in front of the Hell Greed and swapped the Rebellion for the angelic scythe Osiris.

Dante crouched down, charging angelic energy into the blade, before spinning around while jumping into the air. The weapon produced angelic wind, pulling the Hell Greed into the air with him before it turned into sand.

Dante threw out Aquila, trapping a Hell Lust and pulling it into the air. He slashed at it with several wide swing from Osiris, the swapped the angelic scythe for the angelic stars. He boosted at the demon and slashed it into pieces with Aquila.

Sunset/Symbol swapped the burst ring for the swift ring and pressed the left shift lever.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: SWIFT PLEASE: DASH THROUGH THE FIRE AND WIND!]

The swift glyph appeared and fell through her as Sunset/Symbol slid the wing ring onto the driver’s index finger, the sniper ring onto its index finger and the turbo ring to its little fingers. “Hope this works.” She had figured out that the new swift style could use three rings at once. She pressed the left shift lever.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE HENSHIN: WINGS SNIPER TURBO PLEASE!]

All three glyphs appeared over her helmet and fell through her as the driver played the sound of wings flapping, the sound of a sniper rifle being fired and reloaded, then the sound of a jet engine starting up. The Neon yellow S in the centre of her chest plate was surrounded by three logo’s. Each at the point of an inverted triangle. The left point logo was a pair of silver wings, while the right point was a blue lock on logo and the bottom point was a brown turbine logo. Coming out of her back were the white angelic Flight Wings, and a jet turbine was positioned on each shoulder blade, these are the Boosted Flight Wings. The Sniper Rifle appeared in her hand, but it had a pair of jet turbines on its sides, this is the Boosted Sniper Rifle.

“Nice!” She pulled the trigger and fired a bolt that smashed through a Hell Sloth, ripped off its arms. The demon screamed and teleported behind her. Sunset/Symbol pressed the right shift lever, once, the wing glyph flashed in front of the driver.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: WING MAGIC PLEASE!]

Silver aura flashed up and down her wings and she spun around, ripping the Hell Slot in half! The Hell Greed roared as it sent out Spirits. Sunset/Symbol rolled her lens’s as she pressed the right shift lever twice, the sniper glyph flashed in front of the driver.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: SNIPER MAGIC PLEASE!]

A bolt of aura shot from the Boosted Sniper Rifle and ripped through the Hell Greed, destroying it and the spirits.

Then she heard a scream. “Dante, please tell me that isn’t what I think it is.”

“I could, but then I’d be lying.”

“Great.” Sunset/Symbol turned around and saw a Hell Vanguard appear. “Two pronged attack!” She pressed the right shift lever three times, the turbo glyph appeared in front of the driver.

[MAGIC TOUCHIE GO: TURBO MAGIC PLEASE!]

The turbines on her back moved so that they were on her shoulders, while the turbines on the rifle took aim. All four turbines fired a blast of brown aura that slammed into the Hell Vanguard it, gave a roar and teleported away, appearing behind Dante and slashing down at him.

Rebellion transformed into the demonic gauntlets and Dante brought his fist around, stopping the scythe, but the Hell Vanguard had gravity on its side and was starting to press down.

[TOUCH TO COMBINE: ADVANCED: 05: BREAKER! BLOCKER! BOUNDER! BLASTER!]

[TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL: ANGI AND RUDRA BREAKER SPELL!]

The Sunset/Symbol leapt past him, she was holding Angi and Rudra, but they were the original swords that the statues had been using, not the guns.

She crossed the swords over her chest and slashed them outwards, the twin slashes of fire and wind sent the Hell Vanguard flying back. It screamed and teleported behind Sunset/Symbol she dived out of the way of a scythe swing and ran at the demon, pressing the right shift lever four times.

[TOUCH TO CAST THE NEXT LEVEL: ANGI AND RUDRA BLASTER SPELL! [/color]

Both swords were covered in their elements as Sunset/Symbol ran forwards, dragging them along the floor. She slashed upwards, sending two vertical waves of wind and fire at the Hell Vanguard. It made an attempt to block, but Sunset/Symbol’s advanced style and had been strong before, but with two devil arms being used, it was now even stronger! The waves ripped through the demon in a show of sparks and micro explosions, it fell to its knees and exploded.

[MAGICAL TOUCH HENSHIN: ACTIVE PLEASE: LETS GO!]

Sunset/Symbol collapsed to her knees as the active glyph appeared and swept over her. “Are you ok?” Asked Dante.

“No, this is getting more and more tiring.” Muttered Sunset/Symbol.

“Maybe you should rest.”

“NO!” She pushed Dante off. “We need to keep going!” They went through a door, then used the crystal skull to open a door. Which got them on a path outside the tower. Only for the door to snap closed after Dante was through and stop Sunset/Symbol.

“SUNSET!” Shouted Dante he slashed at the door, but it refused to break.

“I’m fine, you go on ahead.” Came Sunset/Symbol’s voice.

“If you're sure.”

“I am.”

Dante ran up the path and arrived at the top of the tower, where Vergil stood. Looking at the full moon. He glanced back at Dante. “You showed up.”

Dante spun Ebony in his hand. “You sure know how to throw a party. No food, no drinks and the only bab just left.”

“My sincerest apologies brother.” Replied Vergil. “I was so eager to see you. I couldn’t concentrate on preparations for the bash.”

Dante scoffed. “Whatever, at any rate, its been a while since we last met. How about a kiss from your little brother? Or better yet how about a kiss from THIS!” He pointed the gun at his brother.

Lightning flashed.

“So, this is what they call a heart-warming family reunion, eh?”

“You got that right.” Vergil fingered the Yamato.

Dante opened fire on Vergil with Ebony and Ivory, only for his brother to teleport forwards in a burst of blue smoke forwards, appearing with Yamato half drawn.

He slashed forwards with the blade horizontally. Only for the blade to be halted when it met the shaft of Osiris.

Dante switched back to Rebellion. Then slashed at Vergil who used Yamato to deflect the attacks.

But was punched in the gut by Eryx.

Vergil was sent shooting back. But fired a small blue blade at Dante, it flashed and he appeared in front of his twin.

Drawing the Yamato from its sheath, Vergil slashed upwards.

Dante was able to lean back and avoid getting cut in half, but was still sent flying into the air with the force of the swing.

Vergil used the sword’s momentum to pull himself into the air. Then slashed at his brother several times.

Dante used the demonic grapple line to pull a piece of rubble from the tower and it was cut into bits.

Dante dropped back to the ground. Only for Vergil to fire a small red blade, as it was level with him, it flashed and Dante founded himself back in the air.

He was only just able to block the overhead slash from the Yamato with Rebellion, but was still sent shooting back into the top of the tower.

Vergil landed back on the ground. Then was forced to block the stab from Dante. But the strength and speed sent him sliding back, until the blade of the Yamato started to glow hell red and Vergil was able to stop himself.

Dante snarled. “Take this!" He started stabbing at Vergil rapidly.

The edge of the Yamato turned angelic blue and Vergil rapidly blocked the attacks. Vergil ducked to the side and ran past Dante, slashing at him!

Dante hissed as the cut in his abdomen was healed by his healing factor. Spinning around he swapped Rebellion for Aquila. He threw the stars, intending to trap Vergil in them.

Only for Dante’s brother to summon a circle of blue glowing energy swords that blocked the stars.

Dante snarled as he fired several blasts with Revenant.

Vergil launched Dante into the air, while avoiding the shots, then jumped after his brother. He spun around with the Yamato coming down towards Dante.

Dante swapped Revenant for Osiris and blocked the Yamato with the scythe, hooking the blade around the sword and using it to throw Vergil back to the ground. Dante landed after his brother and ran at Vergil.

Only for Vergil to summon six swords and send them flying at Dante.

He spun around with Aquila, blocking the swords. Only to realize his mistake when he saw Vergil crouched in front of him.

Vergil smashed the sheathed Yamato into the ground and a blast of demonic energy sent Dante soaring into the air! He quickly righted himself and opened fired with Ebony and Ivory.

Vergil fired a small angelic blade that flashed and warped him to Dante’s level. Using an Angel boost he did a flying downwards kick that knocked Dante back into the ground.

Dante fired his demonic grappling hook, it grabbed Vergil and Dante used it to slam his brother into the ground.

With a grunt Vergil broke free and pointed at Dante with two fingers.The angelic blades appeared, circling Dante this time with their points pointed inwards. They snapped inwards, aiming to skewer Vergil’s brother.

Dante transformed Rebellion into Aquila and spun them around himself, shattering the swords. He held up Kablooey and Vergil looked down, seeing several needles scattered around him! Dante smirked as he pressed the trigger. The needles exploded.

“Nice try.” Dante’s eyes went wide as he heard Vergil’s voice come from behind him. Vergil channelled demonic energy into the Yamato and slashed Dante across the black.

With a shout of pain, Rebellion morphed into Arbiter as Dante swung it around. Vergil blocked with the Yamato, but grunted has he felt his arm break, knowing that he couldn’t stop the attack, he jumped back, using the force of the demonic axe to get a bit of extra distance.

Dante swung Arbiter around and fired a spinning energy version of its axe head at Vergil.

Who sidestepped and Tricked forwards. Blue angelic energy flashed along the edge of the blade as Vergil spun around inside Dante’s guard, the Yamato leaving a solid after image of a blade about a foot longer than the original weapon. Dante quickly swapped Arbiter for Eryx and crossed the demonic gauntlets, blocking the slash, but the force still sent him sliding back.

“Enough of this.” Vergil stabbed the Yamato into the ground. Dark blue energy gathered around him and formed into a copy of Vergil.

‘Shit!’ Thought Dante, so far the fight had been mostly even, with each of the brothers barely landing a hit on the other. But with two Vergil’s? It was about to get a lot harder!

Both Vergil’s Tricked forwards. The normal Vergil pulled out the Yamato and slashed at Dante with a horizontal cut, while the copy’s Yamato glow angelic blue as the doppelganger unleashed a storm of rapid paced slashes.

Dante was able to block the original Vergil’s attack and most of the copy’s attack, but still got several cuts. He punched the original with Eryx.

Only for the copy to slam the Yamato into the ground and fire out a shockwave of demonic energy that hurled Dante into the air. The original recovered and summoned a large sword from the sky, aiming to skewer Dante with it.

Dante gritted his teeth. Red energy covered Rebellion, making the blade hum with power. He swung the sword, firing a crescent of red energy. It wasn’t as powerful as a normal Drive as he hadn’t had time to build up energy, but it was enough to shatter the sword.

Dante landed on the ground. He kicked the air behind himself and shot at the two Vergil’s, firing at them with Ebony and Ivory.

Both Vergil’s spun their Yamato’s and caught the bullets, spread them on the ground and then threw them back at their brother.

Rebellion morphed into Osiris. Dante spun it as if it were a vertical propeller, blocking the deflected bullets. The angelic scythe transformed into the demonic axe. Dante slammed it into the ground, sending out a wave of demonic energy that threw the doppelganger into the air.

But Dante was unable to attack advantage as the original Vergil fired a blade of red energy at him, which flashed and when it cleared he was in front of his brother.

Thinking quickly Dante’s sword morphed into the angelic grapple line. He hooked it onto a pillar and pulled himself out of the way of a sword slice.

Dante cancelled the lift and came from Vergil’s side with an overhead slash.

Vergil quickly spun around, with the Yamato leaving a solid after image of the blade that cut through Dante’s abs.

To make matters even worse the doppelganger came down with a flying kick, hitting Dante in the head.

Dante rolled along the ground, until he got back to hits feet with a snarl. He ran at the two Vergil’s with Rebellion out in front of him.

The original smirked as he blocked it with the side of Yamato, then channelled demonic energy into the blade, making it glow red and increasing his strength so that he stopped sliding back.

Dante pulled back. Then slashed upwards with Rebellion, Vergil was hit and even though he blocked it, the Nephilim was still sent flying into the air. Dante jumped after his brother.

He swapped to Aquila and charged at Vergil slashing him repeatedly. Then the angelic stars morphed into the demonic gauntlets. Dante punched Vergil downwards.

Dante glanced over his shoulder and saw the doppelganger appear in a flash of blue light, then Trick up, before using the very move that Dante had been planning to use. Vergil’s clone shot down, slamming his foot into Dante’s head, sending the Nephilim crashing into the ground.

Only for Dante to be sent back into the air by the real Vergil.

The copy spun around with Yamato coming down vertical, slicing into Dante’s flesh. Then Vergil’s clone kicked Dante twice with a small Angel boost increasing the speed and thus the damage. Before swinging Yamato, sending Dante crashing to the top of the tower. Before coming down, crashing on top of Dante.

Dante stabbed at the copy several times, forcing it to back off. Then he swapped Rebellion for Osiris, crouching down and funnelling angelic energy into the scythe before jumping and spinning around. The light blue wind made by Osiris picked up Vergil’s clone, carrying it into the air and letting Dante slash at it several times. Then Osiris morphed into Arbiter. Dante swung it over his and came down, slamming the clone into the ground.

Before he could continue: He was forced to use Eryx to guard against an attack by the original Vergil. The blade of the Yamato flashed angelic blue. And Vergil unleashed several slashes at blistering speed.

Dante weathered the assault and saw his opening, demonic fire gathered around Eryx. Dante punched Vergil, it connected with his stomach and the fire around the gauntlet formed into a massive fist made of fire. Vergil was sent shooting back and crashed into a pillar.

Dante was only just able to twist out of the way from a demonic sword slash.

He swapped Eryx for Aquila and threw the stars. This time they caught Vergil’s clone, trapping his arms to his sides as they circled him at high speed. Dante threw Rebellion, it pierced through the clone’s abdomen. Vergil’s clone gasped in pain, before smirking as the hole closed up. Then it became confused as Dante smirked, before pointing behind it.

The clone turned around just in time for its eyes to go wide in horror as Rebellion came spinning back along its flight path, cutting the clone’s head from its shoulders. Dante held up his hand and caught the sword.

He looked up just in time for Vergil to materialize at the position of his angelic knife and come down with the Yamato raised over his head.

Dante rolled out of the way and came up to one knee smirking as he pressed Kablooey’s trigger. Vergil looked around just in time to see the needles exploded.

When the smoke cleared he was unharmed, having used Volcano as a shield.

Both brothers glared at each other as they started channelling power into their swords. Rebellion glowed a fierce red and the Yamato started glowing a deep dark ominous blue. The two blades began humming with power, then they became to vibrate in their owner’s hands as the humming turned into roaring.

Dante grabbed the Rebellion in a two handed grip and spread his legs out in a solid stance, while Vergil grasped the Yamato in one had and its sheath in the other, taking a sideways stance.

They both swung.

A giant blue crescent and a trio of red waves exploded from the swords and slammed into each other. The connected point waved several times, first it looked like the Dimension slash would win, then the Overdrive pushed back, until both attacks exploded.

Dante and Vergil charged into the smoke, slamming their swords into each other, sparks flew from the contact point and both swords glowed with heat from the amount of friction, before their owners leapt back. By now the rain had forced Vergil’s hair down into the same style as Dante.

Dante ran at Vergil dragging Rebellion along the ground, then performed an overhead slash, which was deflected, before he swung the sword around and made an attempt to stab his brother.

Vergil leaned to the side, smashing the stab away and flicking Yamato into a reversed grip then rammed the handle into Dante’s stomach.

As he flew back Dante slashed out, but Vergil was still able to stop the attack. Slamming into a pillar, Dante pulled out Ebony and opened fire.

Vergil spun Yamato in a circle, blocking the bullets, then he drew the sword along the ground, revealing that he had caught the bullets with the sword. Then Vergil hit them back at Dante, who cut them in half with Rebellion.

“Why do you refuse to gain power?” Demanded Vergil. “The power of our father, Sparda?”

“I just don’t like you very much! Ever since Sunset died you’ve become bitter and angry. If I gain power, it won’t be in a way that results in a whole city being slaughtered!”

They locked blades once more and the swords started to glow from the amount of friction. Suddenly, Vergil used Yamato as a lever to send Rebellion flying into the air, then stabbed his brother through the chest! “Foolishness Dante, foolishness!” He shoved the blade in deeper. “Might controls everything! And without strength you cannot protect anything.”

“GAH!”

“Let alone yourself” He shoved Dante off Yamato and grabbed his brother’s amulet, snapping the chain as he fell, Vergil looked at the amulet and flicked his hair back into its normal style.

He looked at his brother for a second, before walking away, picking up Rebellion as he did so.

Dante’s hand twitched and he began to push himself back to his feet.

Suddenly, Vergil spun around and ran Dante’s own sword through his chest.

Vergil spun around, just in time for a boot covered in red lightning to smash into his face! He was sent flying back and slammed into a pillar.

Getting back to his feet, he looked at the one that had attacked him and his eyes went wide. “Sunset? No Sunset’s dead. You must be an imposter.”

“I have nothing to say to a bastard that would kill his own family for a trinket!” She materialized the Active Blade. “Get ready to die!”
