Alright this is my first attempt on writing an audio log about a zombie apocalypse that was being planned out and such.
Let me know how I did on my first try. Point out the mistakes that I may have done and please leave a comment whether or not you like how this is going or not.

Audio Log #3762-A:

<sup>Hello, if anypony have found this audio message, please for the love of Luna spread the news to everypony that needs to wake up. Princess Celestia and the other Royal Guards are feeding everypony with lies about the outbreak. My name is Shade Blaze and I am a former Royal Guard of Canterlot.

I found out that Princess Celestia actually contained a virus in the outskirts of Saddle Arabia that was rising out of nowhere a year ago on March 15th 2017. To her surprise she was quite fascinated with an idea of researching the virus. She named it Plagzent Mortem. The virus that spread in Saddle Arabia was killing off the livestock and some of the other animals at a rapid pace before it was contained.

On March 19th 2017, Princess Celestia have requested my assistance into looking upon the results of the Plagzent Mortem. The fluids of the Plagzent Mortem were a reddish green with black and yellow cells growing very rapidly. I reported to Celestia that the virus is already growing vastly in her underground research lab.....Yes the Princess has an underground research lab. Its near the mines and the dungeons. Can't miss the messed up lunar shaped moon door. Have to be blind to miss it but back to the story at hoof, I was quite terrified at the pace the virus was growing. After I reported to the Princess, she told me immediately to leave the research lab and go back to my stations within the castle. I was a bit hesitant but like any other Royal Guard, we have to obey our commands without any questioning whatsoever. Later that night I saw a weird look on Princess Celestia's face but I thought it was either my imagination or that she witnessed something very funny.

On March 21st 2017, I was attending a meeting with Princess Celestia as a guard with two purposes. Stay silent and be aware of anything that happens. Boy I was aware alright. I got to hear the entire meeting of Operation Rebirth. I was a bit terrified by the name of the operation but like any other royal guards, we have to obey without questioning whatsoever....ugh I just hate that rule because us Royal Guards always have an idea to toss into the mix or something that can be useful but according to Celestia we have one thing to do and that is to obey. Kinda makes me feel like a slave but this is what I and everypony else decided to do. It sucked but we managed...well till it happened...back to the story, Operation Rebirth was a way to reduce the vast majority of the population all across Equestria. The idea was to start a new from the surviving crew of Operation Rebirth. Princess Celestia had spoken with Princess Cadence, Shining Armor, several Wonderbolt leaders, politicians, world leaders. I along with my brother Light Blaze were the only Royal Guards who got to hear everything that they were saying. Princess Celestia told us not a single word or else she'll put us in a place where death will never exist. Light Blaze was scared shitless but I remained calmed. After what seems like an eternity Princess Celestia found the perfect date to initiate Operation Rebirth.

Light Blaze and I remained silent as other Royal Guards wanted to know what was happening. All we can tell them is something big is about to go down in a matter of months and be prepared for anything that comes ahead. The guards just went there separate ways like what they heard was nothing new to them. As a matter of fact, when something big happens in Equestria, Twilight and her friends comes down and resolve the issue at hoof. As for my brother and I, we had to swallow everything we heard and to never tell anypony about Operation Rebirth.

For weeks Operation Rebirth circled my mind, I could never have a good night sleep ever since Celestia picked up that damn virus. Its all I could ever think of until one day on June 13th 2017, prisoners from all across Equestria were coming into the Castle. I along with my brother Light Blaze and our fellow mates were ready to go into battle until we heard a loud echoing beaming voice from Celestia. She told us to stand aside and allow these prisoners to come in as they pleased. My heart and mind were racing in circles. Out of adrenaline and confusion, I demanded the Princess "What the hay is going on here?!"....as a result of my question that was out of line to her, she requested that I was to be taken into a solitary holding cell for questioning her authority. It was the first time ever I had spoken like that to Celestia and now I knew I was going to pay the price. As calm as she can be, nopony knows what kind of monster Celestia can be when no one but us Royal Guards are around. That is why we remain still and obedient to Celestia. To prevent a rage state from the stress of the Princess. Anyways from what I was told, Princess Celestia took all the prisoners of Equestria to the research lab for testing. My only guess was she was going to used them as lab rats for her underground deep study on how the virus works and the best ways possible of containing it when it is spread into a pony as a host. During my isolation and interrogation, I spoke about how I felt and the psychologist thought that I wasn't having enough sleep so I was let go but escorted to my room within the castle. I wasn't allowed to leave under any circumstances whatsoever and like any other Royal Guard......I had to obey.

June 21st 2017 came and I can hear the screams. The terrible screams that was happening within the castle. Within Canterlot and nopony but us Royal Guards know. Everypony down below was getting tortured and there was nothing I could have done. If word broke out then I would be like them. What is worse than having a death to freedom....getting infected with that Celestia-dammed virus. I was allowed to work again but I noticed that my brother Light Blaze wasn't a Royal Guard anymore. From what the others have told me even Luna after visiting his dreams, that Light Blaze quit the force and ran as far as he could. Out and away from Canterlot. Celestia didn't cared as long as word doesn't spread about the Plagzent Mortem. I on the other hoof was sadden by his decision to depart but I don't blame him. He's probably having a better life and still to this day, I believe he's out there. Surviving but enjoying the freedom he would never have gotten as a Royal Guard.

On June 29th 2017, the echoing of screams became louder and louder. Only us Royals Guards and the Princess can hear it except for Twilight Sparkle and Luna. They are the only Princesses who could never hear it. Thanks to the monster Celestia, she casted a spell that prevents certain types of Ponies from hearing it and it worked. I feared for the worse when Operation Rebirth was about to initiate. Counting the days we have left before all hell breaks loose. I couldn't even enjoy the little things in my life knowing the outcome that lies.

July 17th 2017, I was patrolling the halls at night when I heard the screams again but they were different. Far more worse than I ever heard of but I kept my cool and brush it off like any other night. The urge of telling somepony what's been plaguing my mind for a while, I had to brush it off as well. I kept a keen eye on anything suspicious and anything unusual during Luna's night sky. That was probably the best about being a Royal Guard at times. Being a night pony is who I am and seeing Luna's Night Sky makes me feel so alive but moments later, I felt a cold chill slivering down my spine. My blood felt as cold as an ice cube resting on ice cream. A foul stench so powerful it'll make you vomit. Last but not least, a roar like an animal ready to pounce on its prey. I turned around and saw it. A prisoner that broke out of its shell. It escaped the research labs and it look disturbing. Its body was twisted inside out. The eyes was nothing but pitch white with red pupils. The teeth had razor sharp fangs like a vampire and finally it's wings. One of the wings had feathers and the other just bones. No flesh. No blood. Just its skeleton shape wing. I was terrified by the horrific look of the prisoner. It roars again and I was alone. I ran away from it and seconds later it flew after me. I was a bit shocked that it can fly despite its missing leverage of the wing. It flew faster but luckily for me I can outrun it. Years of training and it had a purpose but then the infected prisoner lunged at my leg and missed when I turned around. It crashed into a wall. The head of the infected prisoner was squished but unfortunately it didn't die. It got back up. It had no eyes anymore. The impact caused it to go blind. It roared again but the roar had a distinct high pitch noise that can make anypony deaf. I covered my ears but kept my eye on the prisoner. It was reacting very differently and yet it was adapting. The Plagzent Mortem must have been a very intelligent virus unlike any other in Equestrian history. I had a theory in mind of what the infected prisoner was doing. I picked a vase nearby and threw it across the hall. When the vase broke and made a noise. The infected prisoner reacted quickly and flew towards the noise. My theory was correct. Its already adapting to sound frequency. I was able to observed the infected prisoner without making a noise to disturbed it. The infected prisoner just remained still. I accidentally tripped over another vase in the hallway and it turned around. I ran and it followed me. Grabbed me from my back hoof and was ready to bite me but then Celestia came. Just at the right moment. Using her magic she got the infected off of me but it bit me. The infected prisoner was able to bite my back hoof and it felt like being in a bear trap. It roared louder and the castle windows were cracking. My question was how powerful is this thing is. Celestia just stood there. Unfazed for what was happening. It was like she expected this outcome or wanted to see what else it can do to ponies. Celestia actually apologized to me for using me as a test subject. A Celestia-dammed fucking test subject! I was enraged but enlighten that she decided not to put me in the research labs as a prisoner...as a lab rat....All I can say is..."why me?".

August 1st 2017 Celestia made an announcement to everypony that a new virus has came into her lands and that everypony must report to her. The Crystal Empire obvious had to answer to either Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. Nopony was allowed to report to Princess Luna and Princess Twilight Sparkle. Luna and Twilight Sparkle are the only pony Princesses that doesn't know about Operation Rebirth. It was not the best idea but I had no saying for that matter. Turns out that the virus didn't had an effect on me but Celestia told me not to tell anypony whatsoever but that doesn't mean that I'm invisible to the infected. Just make them angrier. Most ponies who had the virus turned in 3-5 days depending on the type of pony and depending on the health of the pony. The stronger you are, the more the virus can infect you at a rapid pace. The weaker you are, the less the virus can infect on you at a slow pace. Ponies in Canterlot just laughed at the idea of a new virus knowing that Celestia would protect them. Actually it was quite the opposite. Celestia's plan was to kill them and it worked.

On August 23rd 2017, Celestia decided to unleash the infected upon the Equestrian Lands. All the Royal Guards including myself were not allowed to interfere. My mind was in all places..."How can I allowed something like this to happen?"...but it did. The infected prisoners roamed free into the night. When we thought all was released, the Royal Guards and I left our positions only to find that a herd of infected scientists and researchers. They screamed....roared...like it was time for war......Some of the Royal Guards ran away and the others fought them off. I stayed to fight them but as the Royal Guards were fighting them, one of the infected researcher died and the rest of the herd went into a rage state. It was definitely worse than Celestia's rage state. Moments later they roared, they bit and started to eat the defending Royal Guards. I ran. I hoofed to Celestia's room. The screams of innocents can be heard throughout the castle. Everypony within the castle can hear it and already there was a panic. Other infected prisoners were fighting with the maids, and killing them. Flesh ripped apart. Blood everywhere like there was a sacrifice for a ritual. Bones being tossed around with chunks of meat left on it. I went up the stairs of the castle. I found Princess Celestia and she took me to her room. Sealed it up with her magic and told me to remain silent. I did. She did too. Knowing that everypony in the castle will die. Those who survived are welcomed to her new age of reign. I knew she already welcomed me in since I already have the virus and immune to it. I didn't care about it. I care about my fallen friends that were either being torn apart, eaten alive, dying, or already turning. Morning came and neither Princess Celestia and I fell asleep. She used her magic to create a loud boom outside of the castle. When the infected heard it, they all went towards the boom. Celestia not only have killed off a lot ponies but killed her own guards in the process. In my mind, enough was enough but I had to do what is necessary to survive for the time being. She had other Royal Guards ready to serve her like it was nothing. She had thousands of them ready to do their part in helping and protecting the Princess. I asked Celestia what happened to Luna. Since I was the only Royal Guard who knows about Operation Rebirth, she told me that Luna is never coming back. I can only assume that Luna saw the tragic events and she left to help everypony or she too got infected. Anyways Celestia just brush off everything that happened last night like it was nothing.

September 5th 2017, I had enough of Celestia's Operation Rebirth. The infected hasn't done anything to Equestria. All it did was killing off my friends in the castle and turning everypony within the castle. Nothing big had happened. No ponies in Equestria was turning. Maybe the virus had died out. I quit the force and right before I was about to leave Celestia banished me from living in Canterlot. Never to come back to her. I turned around and said "You have doomed us all. Its only a matter of time before you meet your own end. ". She was not happy and why shouldn't she'd be. She unleashed hell to everypony. I knew it was only a matter of time before the infected rise up. It did.

On September 13th 2017, everypony all across Equestria was reporting to Celestia about the recent behaviors of their beloveds. Fillies. Mares. Colts. Elderly. They were turning. They were acting very furiously. Eating habits sky rocketed. Limbs falling apart. Horns being broken in half. Wings deteriorating leaving nothing but the bone structure. Eyes changing, teeth forming into fangs. Basically what I saw from the herd of infected that night at the castle, it was happening to innocent of lives in Equestria. Hours later the sirens of an epidemic can be heard all around Equestria. I resided in Ponyville and I decided to pay a visit to Princess Twilight Sparkle but by the time I got there, she was gone. Her friends were gone and so was their dragon. I was a bit devastated but I can only move on to alerting some pony about Operation Rebirth but when I was about to go to the mayor's office, it was already too late. The infected came and Ponyville was the first to get hit hard with the virus. Ponies fleeing everywhere as the infected came in and started to roar. After the roar they killed a lot of ponies. They screamed but the more they screamed the more infected came. I hid in the basement of the bakery at Sugarcube Corner. I waited till I couldn't hear or feel anything above the surface.

September 16th 2017, silence reigned throughout all of Ponyville. I left and Ponyville itself was on fire. It was like something came and wiped them out. My only guess was Celestia and maybe she was looking for Twilight Sparkle and her friends. Judging by how big the flames were and the smoke in the sky covering the sun, Celestia went into a rage state and scorched whatever infected that was here. I left Ponyville and decided to see if the fire made its way to Sweet Apple Acres. It didn't.
