There is a change settling over our world, moving like a shadow and growing in the approaching twilight. I can feel it in the air, watching like a building storm as the sky darkens a little more each day. The very balance of nature runs just the faintest bit askew. Though unseen by most, it has not escaped my sight. Soon the time shall come, Infinity will reach its final page, and upon that tattered parchment will our inevitable end be put to words.

Though, perhaps the end may be forestalled yet awhile longer? Forces move behind the veil of time, pulling at strings to guide this world in ways unexpected. Will this ancient force destroy us all, or can harmony overcome the fury of hatred? I suppose the pages ahead of us will be filled with such questions, a cataloging of this worlds struggle to survive a destruction brought about by its own doings.

As magic, will, and balance clash, the lines between mortal and immortal will blur away, and existence itself shall fall into jeopardy. My hope now is that we might find the answers to these questions, before the tale of our end reaches its inevitable climax.
