Chapter 30

Celestia flinched slightly as the wave of cheers assaulted her senses. Lieia strode forward, waving enthusiastically at the large crowd of people. Celestia watched as Lieia climbed atop a small kiosk, and then gasped in surprise as she was unceremoniously deposed at the rebel leader’s side.

“My people! Today is a glorious day! High Admiral Brusilof has agreed to marshal our armies, bringing death and defeat to our enemies!” That elicited another roar from the crowd.

“But! That is not all! Princess Celestia of Equestria has decided to join our cause! Give her a proper greeting to Linv!” Celestia faced the full brunt of the enthusiastic crowd’s cheering. If she was being true to herself, she was feeling a bit jealous that Lieia could command such loyalty and enthusiasm from her people.

“That’s the spirit! Thank you, everyone! You are all amazing!” Lieia grinned widely. “With our combined efforts, we shall end this war! Our enemies…”

“…WILL FACE DEFEAT!”

“Our worlds…”

“…WILL PROSPER!”

“Our people…”

“…WILL BE FREED!” The unified chant faded back to a dull roar.

“That was a rather short speech, my dear.”

“I know. But we’re not ones to spin tall tales, now are we?”

“I suppose so. Well, shall we proceed with our endeavour?”

“Totally. C’mon. The car park’s just nearby.”

“You know, this really isn’t what I expected you to drive, Lieia.” Celestia announced, eyeing the vehicle curiously.

“What did you expect?”

“I have no idea, actually. I had imagined you’d have a chariot, but that’s just silly, now that I think about it.”

“Pfft. Chariots are so out of fashion, Celly. And me no likey limousines. This is the only car I’ll ever drive.” She gestured at the low, wide vehicle. It was flush dark red, with chrome glinting over its bodywork. Celestia saw a string of letters on its side and leaned closer.

Thundercharge

“Oh! Is this your car? The one you rebuilt?”

“The one and only 2967 Selvar Thundercharge.” Lieia grinned, unlocking the door and taking the driver’s seat of the sleek coupe. “Hop in, Cel.” The other door popped open and Celestia slowly seated herself. “Don’t forget to strap yourself in.” Celestia repeated the motions as Lieia started the engine. Celestia couldn’t help but flinch at the loud, bubbling roar that emanated from below the hood.

“Ah, the sound of the good ol’ W16. It used to power Talwen R-37 atmospheric fighters, but those’ve been outdated for centuries. Museum relics the lot of ‘em. Of course, seeing as our resources are strapped at this point, I’ve been forced to use them. But I’m getting off-track. Selvar Industries decided to stick one of the engines in a prototype shell just for shits and giggles. The result was this.” She toed the throttle, slowly moving to a lane where they would join the highway.

“Turn the radio on, would ya?”

“Uhhhh…”

“Just press the ‘On’ button. It’s right on the dashboard. I’d do it myself but I need to keep my eyes on the road.” Celestia complied and a moment later, heavy metal music started pouring from the speakers.

When I look around me

And see what's going on

I think about the time we had

And where we all came from

Here comes the dream that's been waiting

The triumph we seek is so close it's so near

I love the chance we've been taking

The moment for us is right here

Lieia caught on, starting to belt out the song in earnest.

Get into the spirit

Reach up to the sky

Get into the spirit

Raise your spirit

Raise your spirit high...

Celestia made to ask her something, but was interrupted by a sudden surge of power that mashed her in the seat as Lieia slammed her foot on the throttle, sending the car thundering down the highway, engine roaring. Vehicles ahead of them did their damnedest to get out of the supercar’s path. Trees and buildings whizzed past on both sides of the highway. Lieia’s enthusiastic singing and the roar of the engine was all she could hear. After a couple of minutes, the song ended. Celestia could tell Lieia was reluctant to slow down, but the speed dropped considerably anyways.

“That was Get Into The Spirit by Halford! One of my personal favourites! Don’t change the station, folks, because we have something special comin’ up next!” A disembodied voice announced from the speakers. “R’member, folks, if y’have any special requests, call now!”

Of course, Lieia was quick to catch on that. Tapping her PDA a couple of times, she phoned the radio station, lodging a request of her own. Sure enough, her chosen song started a moment later.

Do ya wanna get rocked?

Let's get, let's get, let's get, let's get

Rocked......

I'm your average, ordinary, everyday kid,

Happy to do nothin'

In fact that's what I did.

Got a million ways to make my day, but daddy don't agree

'Cos when I try to get away he says

He got plans for me…

After a while, they came to stop at a small collection of buildings near the road.

“Wait in the car, Cel. I won’t take long, just need to refuel. Anything I can get you from the shop?”

“I’d like something to drink, please.”

“Gotcha. Sit tight.” With that, Lieia exited the vehicle, leaving Celestia alone with the music. After a couple of minutes, Lieia reappeared, carrying a pair of plastic bags with her. Depositing her luggage in the coupe’s rear seat, she set about refuelling the vehicle. Soon, the acrid, sugary smell of cyclotaurite filled the air and Celestia could hear the fuel glug as it filled the car’s tank. After some more time, Lieia joined Celestia, once more starting the car up.

“Bought ya some stuff, Cel. It’s in the bags. Go on and dig in. I won’t mind. We have some distance to cover, too. Hopefully, we’ll get to Meridi next morning.”

“Meridi?”

“It’s the closest harbour city we can reach. From there, we can get on a ferry that’ll take us to Ring.” Lieia responded, eyeing the highway, waiting for a free spot so she could join the traffic. Celestia deposited one of the bags in her lap, perusing through its contents busily. A surge of power later the Thundercharge had rejoined the busy highway, its explosive powerplant roaring with gusto.

They spent several hours on the road, but it soon became clear they wouldn’t make it to Meridi by nightfall.

Celestia yawned widely, making Lieia chuckle.

“You’re barely staying awake. Truth be told, so am I. We’ll have to stop for the night. The closest parking lot is about five kilos away, Cel.”

“Well, it’s not just sleep deprivation, my dear. Maintaining this form is rather exhausting, even for me.”

“All the more reason to get some sleep, eh?”

“Indeed so.”

Several minutes later, they arrived at a quiet parking lot. Lieia cut the engine, stepping out and stretching her arms wide out, with Celestia following suit.

“Well, that’s it for today, Celly.” Lieia wrapped her arms around Celestia’s waist from behind, bringing her close and rested her head on her shoulder. “Your first day light-years away from your homeworld. Thoughts?” Her soft breath was tickling Celestia’s neck.

“It’s certainly different. I still feel the connection to my sun. I can feel the star this world orbits around, too. It is… a curious sensation.”

“Really, now?” Lieia’s lips pressed to her neck momentarily, making her smile. “Look. There’s the moon now, Cel.” A glowing curve appeared above the horizon, slowly growing in size.

“Good heavens… it’s so big.”

“Yeah. It’s in much closer orbit than back on Equestria. Habitable, too. A scientific oddity, to be fair.” Her words proved true as Celestia could see scatterings of blue, green and brown across Linv’s satellite. Islands, continents, shores and inlets, while brilliant white wisps of clouds curled lazily across the small planetoid. Celestia fancied she could see a couple of settlements on its surface.

“What is it named?”

“Oramte. Guardian. Before it was colonised, it took the majority of asteroid strikes that could’ve hit Linv. So the name stuck.” She released Celestia, starting to fuss with the Thundercharge’s seats. Curious, Celestia walked over, seeing Lieia finish transforming the seating arrangement into a makeshift bed.

“Hey, presto! It’s a car-slash-bed!” Her chuckling gave way to a yawn and she sighed, removing her jacket and tossing it on the floor, motioning for Celestia to join her.

“One moment, Lieia. I should change back to my normal form. The magic exhaustion is nearly toppling me over.” Quietly, Lieia nodded, wincing as tendrils of light enveloped Celestia. A couple of moments later, she stood there, wings stretching out as she struggled to rid her body of the now- obsolete clothing. She sighed, more at ease with her normal body and collected the clothes, depositing them on the car’s dashboard. As soon as she shut the door behind her, Lieia wrapped her hands around Celestia, pulling her in a loving hug.

“Oh, Celestia, you beautiful, beautiful princess…” She whispered as Celestia returned her affectations with a deep, loving kiss.

“I missed you so much, Lieia. Why did you not contact me? You know I always have time for you, my love.”

“I’m often busy. And, I don’t want to put you in any danger. Ayra might try to do something stupid. And I don’t really have the manpower to stage an assault on wherever she’s hiding. But enough about that. We should get some sleep.” She reached up, cranking the side window open a tad. That done, she returned to Celestia’s warm embrace. The alicorn smelled of oranges. Chocolate and oranges. She liked that smell. It was familiar. Reassuring. Calming.

Something woke her up. After the initial moment of confusion and sleepiness, she became aware of the dim light that was reflecting off Oramte. Then, she felt Celestia’s muzzle brush along her neck, the mare’s breath tickling her skin. Seemed like Celestia was up for some fun.

“Hey.” At that, Celestia froze, turning to look at Lieia, surprised.

“Y-you’re awake?”

“Am now.” She grinned, reaching over and settling her hand on the alicorn’s hip, giving the location a rub. “Any reason in particular you’re feeling me up while I’m asleep, Celly?”

“Well, I-“ She made to answer before Lieia pressed her fingers to her lips.

“Shh. You don’t have to say anything.” She chuckled softly, pulling the lust-inclined mare on top of her.

“I… We really shouldn’t… But…” A light grip at the base of her left wing is all it takes to silence her. Well, not exactly silence her, but whatever Celestia was going to say is lost amidst her incoherent moan of pleasure. That threw Lieia for a loop.

“Celestia?”

“Aaah… Yes?”

“A question, if you will. Are you a virgin, Celly?”

“I… Well… Yes.” Celestia looked away guiltily at that.

“So you’ve been holding back all the previous times?”

“Correct. What would you think if I started acting like a mare that’s with a stallion for a first time?”

“Well, I’d say that you are in need of some loving. It just so happens I’m free.” She squeezed Celestia’s wing more firmly, making the alicorn moan loudly. Lieia’s other hand started to slowly make its way downwards, slowly kneading her supple flank. That got a response from the lustful mare. With another moan, Celestia moved slowly, grinding against Lieia, her breathing becoming heavy. The alicorn buried her face in the crook of Lieia’s shoulder, moaning loudly.

“Lieiaaaaaaaah…”

“Yes…?”

“M-make love to me… Please…”

“On one condition. You don’t get a say in anything I choose to do with you. You’re. All. Mine. To play with.” There was something about Lieia’s voice that sent expectant shivers down Celestia’s spine, the woman’s eyes predatory and lustful.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way, my dear.” Taking that as her cue, Lieia’s free hand crept further, crawling tentatively across the alicorn’s plot, finding Celestia’s proverbial flower and her fingers immediately slid in the dripping slit. Celestia threw back her head, nearly hitting the roof as she let loose a loud, unrestrained moan. Lieia started building up a slow rhythm, her fingers already slick with Celestia’s love juices…

“Wow… Uh… Just wow…” Lieia whispered, utterly exhausted, but satisfied. Celestia echoed that sentiment. The smell of cinnamon and pistachio hung heavily in the air.

“I don’t think that there ever will be anypony that can do quite the same things the way you do, Lieia. I am completely yours. For lack of a better word, you own me.”

“I’m sorry, what?”

“There is nothing I will not do for you, my love.”

“Well, I’ll make sure not to abuse the trust you place in me, Celly.” She whispered, pressing herself against Celestia. “Well, we should get some sleep now. It’s a couple of hours ‘til sunrise.”

“Of course.” Celestia responded, slowly curling up around her, content with everything. A couple of silent moments passed.

“Celestia?”

“Yes, Lieia?”

“Thanks for coming here. I seriously needed to see you.”

“Oh, it’s quite alright, my dear.”

The rest of the night passed quietly, with the two lovers wrapped up in each other’s embrace. Celestia could feel Lieia’s mood brighten even as they drifted off to sleep. Next Chapter: Chapter 31 Estimated time remaining: 42 Minutes
