"You should see the looks on your faces! Priceless!" Discord said, suddenly laughing like a little boy.

"Give us our wings and horns back!" Twilight demanded.

Discord moved around the Mane 6. "You see, cheating is not allowed. Which means, no flying. And no magic." Discord said.

"The second rule is, everypony has to play, or else I win..." Discord said, sitting on a bush.

"Did you forget me?" Gohan asked.

Gohan, still retaining his abilities, flew up to Discord and stared at him eye to eye.

"Oh. It seems you can fly. No more!" Discord said, snapping his lion's paw.

Supposedly Gohan would lose his ability to fly, but that didn't happen.

"W-What? Impossible!" Discord said.

"Don't worry, Discord. I won't cheat for you. It's only fair." Gohan said, lowering himself to the ground.

"What!?" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

She ran up to Gohan.

"Are you insane? How will we win?" She asked.

"Hey, the first rule was, 'No cheating. Which means no flying or using magic'." Gohan said.

"I see. You are a smart and good... Child." Discord said.

"So you know my age, at least." Gohan said.

"I will find out more about you... You have actually given me something to do in a millennia!" Discord said.

"Better do more than that." Gohan said.

"Good luck, everypony!" Discord said, before laughing and disappearing again.

"Gohan, just fly up! We can defeat Discord that way!" Twilight said.

"If we cheat, he might just move the Elements somewhere else!" Gohan said.

"That's not- Actually, that makes sense." Twilight said.

"Plus, that also means we lose." Gohan said.

"Well, never fear guys! We have each other!" Twilight said.

"Yeah! Like Twilight said, there's nothing we can't overcome when we stick together!" Rainbow Dash said.

The Mane 6 and Gohan all stepped to the entrance.

"Alright guys, let's do this." Twilight said.

"Together!" Everyone said, taking one step.

Then, walls appeared, separating the 7.

The Mane 6 started to panic.

"Stay calm, everyone! We'll at the middle and regroup there!" Twilight said.

"Moving out!" Rainbow Dash said.

"See you at the center." Rarity said.

"Yeehaw!" Applejack said.

"Meet you guys there!" Pinkie Pie said.

Then, everyone except for Gohan and Fluttershy already took off.

Fluttershy was hyperventilating. "Who's there, who's there!?" She said, before screaming from all the stress.

"Fluttershy, calm down!" Gohan said.

"H-How!? It's so scary!" Fluttershy said.

"Don't worry, you'll be safe. Good luck!" Gohan said, before he went into the maze.

Applejack was running around. Suddenly, three apples caught her eye, and she went to it.

Those three apples rolled away from her.

"What in tarnation?" Applejack asked, before running after them.

They rolled straight into an illusion, and Applejack fell for it.

It was an apple grove.

"Where am I?" Applejack asked, before an apple fell on her head.

She looked around to see apples falling from the trees, and rolling to her.

Each kind of apple formed 3 different piles, and they all laughed. They also circled Applejack.

"Who are y'all!?" Applejack asked.

The dark red apples spoke first, and formed a face. "The keepers of the grove of truth... You may ask us..." it said.

Then the bright red apples spoke next. "A lot of questions..." it said.

The green apples spoke next. "Past, future or present!" It said.

They kept spitting out nonsense to Applejack.

"Alright then, I don't trust this place, but I got a real bad feeling for this fella Discord. What's gonna come from this here mission we're on?" She asked.

The apples stopped circling her, and Applejack went to a lake.

The apples followed her.

"The answers you seek..." The dark red apples spoke.

"Go ahead, take a peek!" The bright red apples said.

Applejack stared into her reflection, which suddenly turned into an 'answer'.

It was Ponyville, completely randomized with buildings floating everywhere. Gohan and the Mane 6 were standing together.

"All of you can take a hike!" Gohan yelled.

"I hope I never see you again!" Rainbow Dash yelled.

"Me too!" Fluttershy yelled.

"Fine!" Pinkie Pie yelled.

"Fine!" Rarity yelled.

"It's settled then." Twilight yelled,

Everyone went their separate ways.

Applejack stopped looking.

"No! Our friendship? Over!?" Applejack asked.

Discord was above, using the apples as puppets.

"It can't be true... It just can't!" Applejack said.

"That just... Can't be the truth..." Applejack said.

"Well the truth does..." The bright red apples said.

"Make your heart ache..." The green apples said, with spirals suddenly forming. "Sometimes a lie, is easier to take!" It said.

They were brainwashing Applejack, and she turned dark.

The illusion was gone, and a path opened.

Twilight saw Applejack, and ran to her.

"Applejack, thank goodness! I thought I heard voices over here!" Twilight said.

"Who were you talking to?" She asked.

"I was talking to a... Nopony! Nopony whatsoever!" Applejack lied. Her facial expressions almost gave her away.

"What!?" Twilight asked, confused.

"Nothing, come on! We best be going." Applejack said, trotting away.

"Did Applejack just..." Twilight muttered. "Oh come on, Twilight! Applejack wouldn't lie!" She said before trotting after Applejack.

Pinkie Pie was hopping through the maze and whistling at the same time.

She stopped in her tracks when she saw a TON of balloons, all with smiles on them.

Pinkie Pie hopped around, excited. "This is the best balloon garden I've ever seen!" She exclaimed. "Well, its the first balloon garden I've ever seen, but-" She said before falling into mud.

She looked up to see that a balloon tripped her.

All of the balloons were laughing at Pinkie Pie!

"Hey, what gives!?" Pinkie Pie asked.

Discord appeared in a flash. "What's wrong, Pinkie Pie? I thought you appreciated a good laugh." He said.

"It's different! They're laughing at me!" Pinkie Pie said.

Discord leaned into a balloon. "It's hardly different." He said.

His head vanished, and the balloon had a new face. "Your friends laugh at you all the time!" He said through the balloon.

"My friends laugh with me, not at me!" Pinkie Pie said.

The Discord balloon circled around Pinkie Pie. "Oh really?" He asked.

He laughed while circling faster, and faster. Then the others laughed at Pinkie Pie.

"No! Stop it!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

Then, the balloons had the faces of her friends.

They were all laughing at Pinkie Pie.

"Stop laughing at me!" Pinkie Pie said.

Discord's balloon circled Pinkie Pie. "Oh... Poor Pinkie Pie... and here I thought laughter made you happy..." He said as his eyes turned into spirals.

It brainwashed Pinkie Pie, changing her view on laughter. Not only this, but she turned dark.

"Happy? I don't think so." She said, and every balloon was popped.

Twilight and Applejack saw Pinkie Pie.

"Pinkie Pie!" Twilight exclaimed, running to Pinkie Pie. "Are we glad to see you!" She added.

Pinkie Pie had a mean face on. "You are, huh? Why?" She asked in a defensive tone.

"Need a good laugh!" She said defensively before trotting away.

"Why did Pinkie Pie act so weird?" Twilight asked.

"I didn't notice anything strange about Pinkie!" Applejack lied, giving a weird face that gave her away before trotting away.

"Weird... Better pick up the pace for this or the stress will get to all of us." Twilight said, following the other two.

Rarity was going about the maze.

"I was expecting an audience with the Princess. Not outdoor sport." She said before accidentally walking into an illusion.

The illusion was a wall with three perfect diamonds.

She gasped.

She looked into the diamonds to see Discord.

He laughed.

"Welcome to your lucky day, Rarity. You've found the one thing in Equestria that could rival my face with sheer beauty." Discord said, making the diamonds shine brighter. The brightness attempted to brainwash Rarity.

"What do you think, do you like?" Discord asked.

"I like... I like very much..." Rarity said, before shaking her head.

"No! I must avoid such beauty." Rarity said, attempting to walk away from the amazing diamonds.

"Must! Reach! Center! To reach! The others!" Rarity said, trying to avoid the illusion.

Rarity was taken over by her greed, and turned dark.

She went back to the diamonds in the wall and got it out.

"Well, it took forever..." Rarity said, running up to the combined diamond she made.

"Who knew three gems could make a HUNK of a diamond..." She said, hugging the combined diamond.

"Now to get you HOME." Rarity said, carrying the huge diamond on her back.

The wall she tore the diamond from broke down to reveal Twilight, Applejack and Pinkie Pie.

"Rarity!" Twilight exclaimed, running to Rarity.

"Are we glad to se-" She said before noticing Rarity holding the illusion diamond, a rock.

"Why are you carrying a humongous boulder?" Twilight asked.

Rarity set the boulder down. "What do you mean 'boulder'?" She said.

Rarity climbed on top of it. "This beautiful rock is a DIAMOND!" She said before hugging it. "And it's all mine." She said.

Twilight and the others were looking at it, confused.

"Keep your greedy little eyes OFF it!" Rarity said, carrying it again.

"It's MINE!" She said, slowly walking away.

Twilight and the others followed.

Fluttershy hid in one of the bush walls, and jumped out when seeing the coast was clear.

She was scared, beyond scared.

"Okay I can do this..." She reassured herself.

"I can do... EEP!" She exclaimed when only three little butterflies flew to her.

She ran away instantly, trying to hide inside the walls again.

But, Fluttershy realized what happened. She gasped, and stopped trying to hide.

"Wait a minute!" She said with a smile.

"Butterflies? Wait!" She said, running after the butterflies.

"Don't leave me here!" She said.

Fluttershy ran after the butterflies in one place, then ended up in another, and another, and eventually she lost the butterflies.

The three butterflies were behind Fluttershy.

"Fluttershy!" One of the butterflies called.

Fluttershy turned around.

"It looks like you've been left behind by your so called friends!" The butterfly said. It was Discord.

"Oh no, I'm certain they're doing their best to find me!" Fluttershy said.

The three butterflies began to circle Fluttershy.

"Well, it must be so upsetting to know how weak and helpless they think you are." Each of them said before flying up.

"Not at all... I am weak and helpless and I appreciate their understanding." Fluttershy said with a smile.

"Yes! Well surely it BURNS you up, that they're always pointing out your flaws, right?" The butterflies said.

"Not really, In fact, I believe I'm awfully lucky to have friends who want me to be the best I can be." Fluttershy said, still smiling.

The butterflies turned into Discord.

"Oh, for goodness' sake!" Discord yelled.

He couldn't take it, Fluttershy wasn't budging!

He put his finger on her head, and just like that, she was brainwashed.

"You've been kind for too long, my dear. Time to be cruel! Arrivaderc!" He said before teleporting away.

Part of the wall collapsed to reveal Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity. She was still holding the rock.

Twilight trotted to Fluttershy. "Fluttershy! I'm so glad to see your friendly face! This awful labyrinth is getting to everypony!" She exclaimed, looking at the other enraged and dark three.

"Oh, boo hoo hoo!" Fluttershy mocked.

Twilight was shocked to hear this.

"Why don't you make your magical little horn, and make everything alright!?" Fluttershy mocked.

Twilight was confused. "Uh..." Was all she could say.

"Oh that's right! You don't have one." Fluttershy mocked as she trotted away. She smacked Twilight with her tail.

Twilight looked in disbelief. She saw Fluttershy hit Pinkie Pie, and Applejack's laughing!

"What is happening to my friends?" Twilight asked herself.

"What are YOU LAUGHING AT!?" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

"U-Uh, Chocolate Milk?" Applejack lied, doing that weird face again.

"What am I going to do with that... Thing..." Discord muttered to himself.

"From what I see, he's a poor kid... What a life. No wonder he's here." He said with a little bit of compassion.

He snapped his fingers. "Yes! I shall haunt him with his past, and then put him in his evil state..." He laughed.

Gohan was now walking at a steady pace.

But something bad was happening.

"Gohan!" A very, very similar voice called.

Gohan stopped walking in shock.

'N-No...' He thought.

He took one look behind him.

It was Chi Chi, his mother.
