In space, a body was floating.

It kept revolving around the sun harboring Equestria.

This body wasn't a dead body.

It was alive, just near the brink of death two years ago.

It was healed, but stuck in a coma.

It seems as if it were about to last forever.

With nothing in thoughts, ever.

Can't even hear a word.

Who was this person...?

How is this person even alive?

How was he at the brink of death?

He was actually at the brink of death twice.

What was his name?

His name...

Is Broly.

The Legendary Super Saiyan.

Why is he here?

Eleven years ago, Broly had emerged to Goku as the Legendary Super Saiyan.

He lost, and he was thought to be dead.

However...

Seven years after that...

Broly had actually survived.

He landed on Earth, where he fell into a coma.

But...

All it took was Goten's crying, and-

Broly was awake.

It took everything from Gohan and Goten to just barely stop Broly.

He understood that the Legendary Super Saiyan is a huge threat.

Eventually, with the combined effort of Gohan, Goten and nonexistent Goku...

Broly was beaten once more with a strong Bros Kamehameha.

That blast was aimed at the Sun to destroy Broly once and for all.

However...

By sheer luck, that blast missed the Sun.

It went far away from that.

The blast eventually died down, and Broly orbited around a new star.

Called yet another sun.

And he fell into a deep coma.

In the vacuum of space.

Seems like he'll never wake up.

But... Suddenly, against all odds...

In the vacuum of space...

Broly is awake.

How?

As soon as Gohan obtained his pendant, it was enough for Broly.

Broly could sense Kakarot.

Goku.

He could feel him.

Broly heard the cries of his almost hated enemy...

Kakarot.

"Uwah!" He heard.

The cries...

Oh, how they enraged him so.

"Kakarot..." He muttered.

Broly managed to move his body.

It's been too long since he moved, and his muscles were almost frozen.

His movements created crushing sounds that were lost in space.

He got himself up, and let his yellow aura flare!

"Kakarot!" He yelled.

His power wasn't strong enough to be felt, but he wasn't at full power.

"Just you wait...! I can easily locate the presence of your energy!" He yelled.

His anger was real.

His power was growing greater than before.

Once he can channel it...

Broly powered up enough that a sphere enveloped him.

This sphere started heading for Equestria.

Slowly... But surely.

While his power was returning.

The Humane 7, Spike and the Saiyans were in front of the portal having a picnic.

Sunset stretched. "A nice summer day, hanging out with your friends, and best of all, you close your eyes and fall right into your boyfriend's arms." She said, doing a trust fall.

"My hands are full." Gohan said, with a chicken leg in his mouth, another in his hand, a bowl of noodles in the other, a bowl of fried rice on the side of his thigh and dumplings right at his crossed feet.

Sunset fell on her back and hit her head.

"Ow!" She said.

"Are you okay?" Goten asked.

"Perfect boyfriend." Rainbow Dash joked.

Fluttershy uncharacteristically smacked her in the back of the head.

"Did Applejack give you a lesson or something?" Rainbow Dash asked to Fluttershy, rubbing her head.

"No. But that wasn't nice." Fluttershy said.

"Sorry." Gohan said, putting his noodles down and helping Sunset up.

"It's fine... I should've asked first." Sunset said, rubbing her head.

Gohan started devouring his food.

"Who made this?" He asked, before he swallowed some noodles.

"I made your portion of the meal... My kitchen is a mess." Sunset said.

"I bet. We made our food." Rainbow Dash said.

"You're a great cook!" Gohan said, drinking some soup.

"Thanks!" Sunset said.

"I agree!" Goten said, eating some of her dumplings.

"It's better than mine!" Gohan said, eating some rice.

Sunset was flattered and blushed.

"Kinda like how mom used to make food, right Goten?" Gohan asked, not done with his plate.

"Yup!" Goten said.

Halfway through...

It's as if something snapped.

'What the heck is that mind boggling ki?' He thought.

"Gohan, what is that?" Goten asked.

"What is what?" Applejack asked.

"This mind boggling ki... Is it... Broly?" Gohan asked, putting his unfinished plate down.

"Broccoli? Hey, I hate those!" Goten said.

"Not Broccoli, Goten." Gohan said.

"Is something wrong?" Sunset asked.

"Yes. Very much so." Gohan said, wiping his face with his arm.

"What's wrong?" Goten asked.

"It's Broly... I think." Gohan said.

"Wait, you mean that guy?" Pinkie asked.

"He dragged you across a building before throwing a blast at you that was repelled by Piccolo?" Sunset asked.

"T-The ki is very similar, yes. Only stronger, this time." Gohan said.

Remember, she now knows every detail Gohan knows about his past.

"I'm confused." Goten said.

"You weren't there for it, darling." Rarity said.

"You guys have to stay back." Gohan said.

"Y-You're serious..." Sunset said.

"I am. It's too dangerous for you all. Most notably Goten. Don't follow me. I'll be back." Gohan said, flying away.

Broly landed in a wasteland.

"Kakarot... I will bathe in your blood." He muttered.

He felt Gohan's ki, and mistook it for Goku.

Broly grinned evilly.

"It looks like Kakarot has come to die!" He said before laughing.

He started jumping from tall rock formation to tall rock formation.

Gohan was in a wasteland, standing still.

Broly was approaching, and fast.

He eventually landed, leaving tons of rubble in his wake.

The two stared each other down.

Broly had torn up clothes and his dried up blood disappeared.

He came back for the third time.

'How is he back for a second time...?' Gohan thought.

He had exploded, right?

"You... You're not Kakarot." Broly said.

"I am not. I'm his son." Gohan said.

"But... I have big sense of Kakarot in you..." Broly said, pointing at Gohan.

Mainly because of his pendant.

"Broly, I don't know how you came back, but you're not going to win this time!" Gohan yelled.

Broly cackled. "I have returned from the brink of death to kill his pitiful son." He said.

Gohan clenched his fists.

"I am going to wipe the floor with you." Broly said.

Gohan wasn't too scared.

"I'm going to take my father's place and defeat you, Broly." He said, getting in a fighting pose.

"What was he going on about with this 'Broly' character?" Applejack asked.

"I dunno. Feels strong! I wanna join Gohan!" Goten said.

"Now now, we were told not to and he's already gone." Sunset said.

He was gone.

"Dang it! Goten!" Sunset yelled, trailing him.

"Spike, stay here." Twilight said, flying away.

The rest followed.

Rainbow Dash was the fastest, but could only barely reach Goten.

Gohan and Broly were clashing.

Well, more like... Like, flailing angrily.

There's so much action!

"HAAAAAA....!" The two yelled as they held each other's hands with their hands and pushed each other.

This went on for a while...

Sure is a lot of not killing Goku going on.

You know what would fix that?

A good ol' rousing round of killing Goku.

Oh wait, he's dead.

Anyway...

Broly finally struck by holding Gohan upwards.

He let go of his hands and kicked him towards the sky!

He trailed and threw a fist!

Gohan caught it with his rather tiny hands.

Broly was surprised.

Gohan tossed him to the side and firing three ki blasts at him.

All hit.

Broly recovered and charged at Gohan!

He threw his green ki blast, which would explode into an even bigger explosion.

Gohan knew that...

And he destroyed it with his fist before it would combust.

Much to Broly's surprise.

Broly may have been powerful, but Gohan was not only stronger. But smarter.

Broly was very predictable, and Gohan could tell.

Gohan flew down to the ground.

"Come on!" He said, gesturing for Broly to follow.

Broly wasn't happy that Gohan was treating him like a house pet...

So he charged!

He threw his giant fist, and Gohan dodged.

Gohan retaliated by punching Broly in the chest.

He was sent far.

Broly used his hand to stop his momentum on the ground and stand again.

He charged at Gohan, who in turn was charging at him.

Gohan rammed his shoulder into Broly, pushing him through plateaus and rocks.

Broly eventually grabbed Gohan and kicked him up to the sky!

Gohan stopped quickly and threw a ki blast at Broly.

It got him right in the cheek, actually leaving a scratch.

"W-What is this...?" Broly asked, wiping his cheek.

Gohan landed nearby.

"You know you can't win, Broly. I'm not even a Super Saiyan, yet you struggle against me." He said.

Broly roared before he charged at Gohan again.

Instead of punching Gohan, he got punched right in the face only to be axe kicked to the ground.

"Your power is close to mine. But, you're too predictable and you leave yourself open. Your own overconfidence will be your undoing." Gohan said.

Broly got himself up.

"How... HOW!?" He asked.

"Gohan!" Goten yelled, getting closer.

Gohan looked over his shoulder in fear.

"Goten...? Run!" He yelled.

"Kakar....ot?" Broly asked.

His anger started to boil.

Much to Gohan's horror.

If Broly saw Goten...

Well, he's actually seeing him.

Then there's no doubt with his pea sized brain that he will consider him to be Goku.

Goten landed beside Gohan.

Then the rest of the Humane 7 came.

"Goten, he said no!" Sunset said.

Goten stuck his tongue out.

"I'm serious Goten!" Gohan yelled.

"Kakarot...." Broly said.

"You guys need to run, NOW!" Gohan yelled.

"That's Broly? That's some serious muscle." Rainbow Dash said nonchalantly.

Broly started to break the ground around him.

Then the Humane 7 started to fear Broly.

"Wow! He's strong! I wanna try!" Goten said, turning Super Saiyan.

"Kakarot...!" Broly yelled.

"Carrots? I don't like carrots!" Goten said.

"Uh oh, guys." Pinkie said.

"This is what I meant!" Gohan said.

"KAKAROT!" Broly screamed, powering up immensely.

The winds from his aura made it hard to see him.

He kept screaming.

"What is happening!?" Twilight yelled.

"He's getting stronger!" Gohan yelled.

The others struggled to stay still, so they ponied up.

Broly was still screaming.

"KAKAROT...! KAKAROT! I WILL END YOU!" He screamed.

"WHY AREN'T YOU GUYS RUNNING!?" Gohan yelled.

Broly finally stopped screaming and panted.

"Why aren't you guys running!?" Gohan repeated.

"We wanna see now! There's a nine foot tall- What happened to his hair?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Broly...

He's transformed.

"What is that!?" Gohan asked.

The Legendary Super Saiyan 3!

"KAKAROT!" Broly screamed, charging at Goten.

'Oh no.' Gohan thought.
