"Gohan!?" Goten asked.

Goten smiled. "He's alive! He's alive!" He yelled as he jumped down the hole.

"Gohan's alive?" Twilight asked as the barrier died down.

Gohan coughed. "I guess... I lucked out.... This time..." He said with a weak grin.

He was really out of breath.

"He's alive!" Sunset said, jumping down into the hole.

Goten got to his side, and grabbed a senzu from his belt.

Not the pouch.

"Here! Take it!" He said.

"Why does this one smell weird...?" Gohan asked.

He ate of it and...

"Phew! I can't believe that happened." Gohan said, standing up.

Goten punched him in the arm. "Don't do that ever again!" He yelled.

"I'm sorry, I know. It was pretty mean of me. I didn't think there was any other way to beat Frieza." Gohan said.

"I didn't want to lose you!" Goten yelled.

Sunset Shimmer finally came to them.

"Sunset? What's wrong? Wait- How much time did I take!?" Gohan asked.

"We have less than an hour left." Sunset said.

"Oh crapbaskets! We gotta go then!" Gohan said.

"Wait, what? You just tried to kill yourself to save everyone, and yet your first concern is taking me to the prom?" Sunset asked.

"I said I would go!" Gohan said.

'I don't think I'll ever understand how he compares these things...' Sunset thought.

"Don't worry about it." She said.

"Are you sure?" Gohan asked.

Sunset nodded.

Then, the others started to come down.

"Sunset Shimmer! What are you doing here?" Twilight asked.

Then she remembered.

"Oh. Right." She said.

"What?" Pinkie asked.

"It's nothing." Twilight said.

"Are you alright?" Celestia asked.

"Yep! Senzu bean!" Gohan said, smashing his chest with his fist a few times.

"We thought you were a real goner!" Rainbow Dash said.

"I still can't believe I lucked out..." Gohan said.

"We can't believe you actually tried that." Cadence said.

"Shows that he really cares." Shining Armor said.

"Aw." Everyone said.

Gohan rubbed the back of his head and blushed a bit.

"Sunset Shimmer..." Celestia said.

"Princess Celestia." Sunset said.

"It's been too long. You have already surpassed me in raw power." Celestia said with a smile.

"What!?" Everyone but Gohan asked.

"H-How can you tell!?" Sunset asked.

"Even I can see this, Sunset Shimmer." Luna said.

"But how?" Twilight asked.

"Oh. Right. I've been giving her some training. I guess it really paid off!" Gohan said.

"It really did! I know I'm in training, but she's already stronger than the princess!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Wow..." Sunset said.

"You've grown in strength and personality, Sunset Shimmer. I'm proud." Celestia said.

"Wow..." Sunset said.

"Same here, Sunset. You and Starlight are the best students ever!" Twilight said.

"That's great!" Gohan said.

"The battle is finally over..." Luna said.

"And I have a dance to get to." Gohan said, putting two fingers to his forehead.

"Grab on." He said to Sunset, holding a hand out.

Sunset put her hoof in his hand.

"What are you talking about?" Starlight asked.

"We have to get to a dance. Bye!" Gohan said, popping out of reality with Sunset.

"I still don't get how he does that." Twilight said.

The Humane 6 were just hanging around.

Waiting for the two to come back.

"There's, like, 40 minutes before prom is over." Pinkie said.

"Is Gohan even coming back? He's taking forever." Rainbow Dash said.

Then two people emerged from the portal.

"You're finally ba-" Applejack said before noticing all the gunk and crud on Gohan.

And a loss of his shirt.

"Sorry I took so long. He was really strong." He said.

"I saw the end, at least." Sunset said.

"And I should do this..." Gohan said, placing a hand on his chest.

A flash of light, and then he had a suit.

"There we go." He said.

"You don't have a whole lot of time." Applejack said.

"I know. I had a real tough time beating him..." Gohan said.

"It was a true near death experience." Sunset said.

"What happened?" Fluttershy asked.

"Frieza was back, stronger than ever, and it seemed like Super Saiyan 4 couldn't beat him..." Gohan said.

"Then... How did you beat him?" Twilight asked.

Gohan and Sunset looked at each other.

"Well... I don't really want to talk about it." Gohan said.

"Why not? Did you use the dragon fist?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"That missed." Gohan said.

"Then how?" Twilight asked.

"We'll tell you another time..." Sunset said.

"Then get in there and dance already!" Pinkie yelled, throwing Sunset into the door.

"Oops." Pinkie said.

Sunset was sitting on the floor.

"Ugh... Why'd you do that!?" She asked.

Gohan gave Sunset a hand.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay." Sunset said, brushing herself off.

Gohan opened the door and gestured for her to enter.

"After you." He said.

"Someone's a gentleman tonight. Thank you." Sunset said, entering.

Gohan followed suit.

Rainbow Dash whistled for Gohan.

Applejack smacked her in the back of the head.

"Hey! What was that for!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

The inside was the Fall Formal all over again.

But with half the students since it's late.

Sunset held Gohan's hand in an attempt to show affection.

'Well... That part's done for me.' He thought.

The two walked over to the snacks and little amount of punch left table.

"Do you want some juice? Or a snack?" Gohan asked.

"Hm... Sure. Some punch." Sunset said.

Gohan grabbed a cup and the ladle.

He poured it into the cup without accidentally smashing it to pieces.

You have no idea how many cups he went through to finally master that.

He handed it to her.

"Here." He said.

"Thank you." Sunset said.

Then the two just stood there.

The DJ, or just Vinyl Scratch put on some dubstep or something.

'What did Rarity say again...? Oh right.' Gohan thought.

Gohan did a little bow. "Uh... May I have this dance?" He asked, holding his hand out.

Sunset giggled a bit. "You may." She said.

The dance floor was just people doing that boring one-two hands on hips and neck shit.

And the two were doing just that.

'This is nice.' Gohan thought.

'This is boring.' Sunset thought.

"Hey, do you want to spice things up a bit?" Sunset asked.

"W-What do you mean?" Gohan asked, genuinely confused.

Sunset broke the slow dance and grabbed his hand.

She threw him to the side, then pulled him back in, spinning him around once and grabbing the other hand.

The two were very close to each other.

"What just happened...?" Gohan asked.

"A better way of dancing. Come on!" Sunset said.

It's as if she was the man for a second.

Gohan was still confused, but he tagged along.

...Kinda.

He lifted Sunset up to the sky on her stomach.

"What are you doing!?" Sunset asked.

"For the record, I have no idea what I'm doing!" Gohan said before he started jumping all over the place.

'Might as well trust him... It's not like he'll hurt me.' Sunset thought.

She made a pose, as if she were a flying superhero.

I mean, she always did that, but whatever.

Everyone looked at them.

Mainly because you don't see that everyday since Pinkie and Rainbow Dash stopped showing it off.

They also cleared the floor for the two.

Gohan finally jumped high up to a yellow light, and slowly tossed Sunset back to the ground, giving her ki while doing it.

I dunno, he had to improvise.

He aimed his palm at her.

The transition of ki was green, and it was like they were connected.

It's like the Broly movie.

She slowly reached the ground, completely confused as to what the hell just happened.

Gohan stopped giving ki, and slowly landed about 10 feet away.

People actually clapped for that weird shit.

'Well... It's good!' Sunset thought.

'I don't even know why I did that.' Gohan thought.

The people finally returned to the dance floor.

And the two walked up to each other.

"What did you just do?" Sunset asked.

"I don't even know why I did it." Gohan said.

"Whatever it was, it was awesome." Sunset said.

"It- What?" Gohan asked.

"It's like you were giving me your energy in some sort of interpretative dance." Sunset said.

"I did give you my energy. I don't know, I improvised." Gohan said.

"Well, it was good. You're the best when it comes to acting fast." Sunset said.

'Well... I guess that's a point.' Gohan thought.

"I thought it was random." He said.

"I think I'm done dancing now..." Sunset said.

"Okay." Gohan said, holding her hand.

She blushed a bit.

"Where do we go now?" He asked.

"I guess the punch again... I left my cup there." Sunset said.

The two were back at that table.

And the rest of the Humane 7 were coming in.

"Look at you! Dancing all over the place!" Rainbow Dash said.

"I improvised, I'm not a dancer!" Gohan retorted.

"It was quite impressive." Rarity said.

"See? It's good!" Sunset said.

"I... How...?" Gohan asked.

"Don't doubt yourself." Sunset said. "The best thing about is your confidence, Gohan." She added.

"I'm overconfident if you ask me..." Gohan muttered.

"What?" Sunset asked.

"Nothing." Gohan said.

"Students!" Celestia said from the stage.

Everyone was listening to her.

"The prom will be ending very soon. I would like to thank you all for coming! It's been an eventful night, and it's coming to a close. I hope to see you all on Monday for the last day of school!" Celestia said.

The students all cheered.

"More free time!" Gohan said.

"And what are you gonna do with that free time?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Read, study, train, eat, practice... Yeah that's pretty much it." Gohan said, counting all that in his fingers.

Five in total.

"What about you guys?" He asked.

"Nap, do more training, and maybe some other stuff." Rainbow Dash said.

"I think we all are gonna do more training. But we're going to Camp Everfree before that." Applejack said.

"I can only imagine all the 'scary' parts of it." Gohan said.

"Same here." Sunset said.

"I think we should all head home now." Twilight said.

"It is late." Rarity said.

"Oh. I came way too late today... Sorry again." Gohan said.

"Don't apologize. I can't blame you." Sunset said.

"I know it was a real tussle and all but how did the fight end!?" Pinkie asked.

"I really don't want to go into detail." Gohan said.

"Come on!" Twilight said.

"No." Gohan said.

"I really don't think he wants to talk about it." Sunset said.

"It's sensitive, okay?" Gohan asked.

"Fine." Rainbow Dash said.

The group walked outside.

"Well, sorry again, Sunset. I really wish Frieza hadn't came." Gohan said.

"Don't worry about it!" Sunset said.

"Bye!" Pinkie said, walking away.

"Bye." The rest all said, leaving.

Well, Sunset wasn't moving.

Gohan was about to enter the portal.

"Wait, Gohan." Sunset said.

Gohan was less than a smidgimeter to the portal.

He looked over his shoulder.

"Yes?" He asked.

"I... I need to talk to you about something." Sunset said.

"Oh. Uh... What's up?" Gohan asked, stepping away from the portal.

Sunset sat down on the steps.

"Can you sit down with me for this?" She asked.

"Uh... Sure thing." Gohan said, sitting down next to her.

"So... I have a bit of a problem." Sunset said.

"What's wrong?" Gohan asked.

"Before we start, I just want to say, I really think you're thoughtful, and I'm touched by everything you've done tonight." Sunset said.

"Uh... Okay. Thank you." Gohan said.

She looked at the ground.

"Seeing you self destruct was painful... But at the same time it made me admire you more for your bravery and care. You are the most selfless person I know." She said.

Gohan nodded.

"I really like hanging around you. Even after all this time, you never cease to amaze me and keep me happy." Sunset said.

Gohan nodded.

"And... Well... I think I really... Um... L-Like you..." Sunset said nervously.

Gohan was pretty confused.

'I thought we already liked each other! We're friends!' He thought.

"Do you understand?" Sunset asked, finally looking at Gohan.

Gohan shook his head.

"Oh. Sorry... I probably should've said something else... I mean, I really like you. I like that you're kind, strong and compassionate. And... I think I've developed feelings for you..." Sunset poured again.

Still...

"I still don't understand." Gohan said.

Sunset was getting a little annoyed.

But it was overshadowed by nervousness.

She poured her heart out twice, but he still didn't understand.

"I-I don't... I really... And... D-I..." Sunset kept repeating nervously.

"Sunset? Are you okay?" Gohan asked.

He put a hand to her forehead.

"Do you have a fever or something? Doesn't feel like it." He said.

"Look, I'm really trying hard to find the right words." Sunset said.

"Sorry. Take all the time you need." Gohan said, taking his hand away.

Sunset thought carefully.

'You know what? Screw it.' She thought.

"Okay, I'll just say it. I'm in love with you, Gohan." Sunset said.

That was... Very unexpected.

"Y-You're what...?" Gohan asked.

Sunset decided to go a step further.

She lunged forward, grabbing his shirt and pulling him in for a kiss.

Gohan's eyes widened and his pupils became shockingly tiny.

'She's WHAAAAAAAAT!?' He thought.

Sunset blushed deeply.

Gohan had a light blush.

But he was shocked beyond belief.

The kiss was about a minute.

Sunset finally parted, and let go of his shirt.

Gohan was still really surprised and shocked by Sunset.

"I'm sorry... Do you understand?" Sunset asked.

"I do, but... Why did you put your mouth up against mine?" Gohan asked.

"...You don't know what a kiss is either?" Sunset asked.

"Wait, that's what a kiss is? Oh." Gohan said.

Sunset sighed in relief. 'He knows, at least.' She thought.

"So... Um... What do you think?" Sunset asked.

Gohan put a hand to his chin.

Deep in thought.

'Welp... I was right. I thought I was wrong, but I was right. I really thought I was wrong... Oh well. I still have to give her some sort of answer. But do I really love her back? Well, she's kind, learns her lessons, strong willed, and overall very compassionate. Also, I don't know why, but I find her angry side to be pretty cu- Wait, what?' He thought.

Now that he was actually thinking about it...

"I... I haven't really thought of love before... Nor have I ever considered it. Ever." Gohan said.

Sunset... Felt her heart break into a million tiny pieces.

She frowned a bit...

"But..." Gohan said, holding Sunset's hand.

"That doesn't mean I'm not willing to try." He said with a smile.

Well, that just changed Sunset's mood.

"Y-You mean...!?" She asked.

Gohan nodded.

Sunset pulled Gohan in for a big hug.

"Yay!" She said.

Gohan hugged back.

'This is new...' He thought.

"But..." Sunset said, breaking the hug.

"I hope you're prepared, because I can be overly affectionate and easily aggravated at times." She said.

"I can look at you and say I can look past your faults." Gohan said.

"And I hope you're prepared, because I am totally clueless when it comes to this stuff." He said.

"I've noticed..." Sunset said, before giggling.

"And I am in a constant juggle of overconfidence and doubts about myself." Gohan added.

"Well, I can say that I can look past your faults too." Sunset said.

"Um... C-Can we kiss again?" Gohan asked.

"You really like it?" Sunset asked.

Gohan nodded.

Sunset smirked before she dove in for another kiss.

Gohan wasn't sure how it worked, but he still liked it.

He closed his eyes along with her.

Then, it broke again.

"So... We're boyfriend and girlfriend now?" Sunset asked.

"Sure... That sounds nice. Um... I'm going home now..." Gohan said, standing up.

"See you on Monday..." Sunset said.

"Yeah... Heheh." Gohan said, walking into the portal.

...

"Yeah!" Sunset cheered, jumping up and throwing a fist up.

Gohan came through the portal to see a very, very eager Twilight.

"So, how was it...!?" She asked with a huge, wide grin.

"I have to say, I loved it." Gohan said.

"Did Sunset tell you!?" Twilight asked.

"That she really likes me? Yeah." Gohan said.

"And did you say yes!?" Twilight asked.

Gohan blushed and nodded.

"Finally! It's been too long, dang it!" Twilight said.

"Wait, you knew?" Gohan asked.

"She wrote to me about it!" Twilight said.

"Oh... Okay." Gohan said.

"I'm so happy for you two!" Twilight said.

"Good. Uh... I'm going home to tell Goten." Gohan said.

"Okay. Bye!" Twilight said.

And that concludes that.

The two miraculous failures. Both contributed to the ship.

I just woke up today and thought: "Holy shit! I'm gonna be a tumor today! I won't post in 15 years again!"

Anyway, I tried doing the ship. Last time I tried shipping two people I fucked it up. Too much love and countless other things. I can only hope I don't fuck this one up. Wait... But what if I already did!? Damn it!
