Season 6 was just great, hah!

First off, teaching the Humane 7 flight.

Oh, and seeing his tail, I guess.

The Humane 7 were waiting for Gohan to arrive, as usual.

Training was getting them pumped.

Especially this one, since- You already know.

"You better not use your flight to prank people, Rainbow." Sunset said.

"No promises. This is gonna be so awesome!" Rainbow Dash said.

"I won't need to use the bus!" Twilight said.

"I thought I knew humans until I saw Gohan." Spike said.

"And we thought we knew dogs until we met you, Spike." Applejack said.

"Good point." Spike said.

Then Gohan came through the portal.

With a new look, too.

Piccolo's gi! Even with the cape over the extremely weighted pads!

As a Super Saiyan, too.

"Hey guys." He said.

"Yo!" Rainbow Dash said.

"What are you wearing!?" Sunset asked, trying to contain her laughs.

"Is this your attempt at being a superhero?" Rarity asked in between giggles.

The Humane 7 had to admit, it was hard not to laugh.

"No, it's the getup my first teacher, Piccolo wears." Gohan said.

"That's a corny getup. And it's purple!" Rainbow Dash said.

"I don't call your band dresses corny." Gohan retorted.

"He does have a fair point." Rarity said.

"Then can you remove the cape?" Pinkie asked.

"Is it really that bad?" Gohan asked.

"Yes." Everyone said.

Gohan sighed as he removed the weight.

"This was really nostalgic for me, but I guess it's not something to wear around others." Gohan muttered.

He spun it around to wrap itself.

"Are you gonna keep the blond?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Actually, not today." Gohan said, reverting back to base form, and he dropped it on the fucking ground.

And he fucking cracked it.

For a scholar, he's a dumbass.

Oxymoron, I know.

"Uh oh..." Gohan said.

"Oh come on, how heavy is THAT one?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Same as my dad's gi." Gohan said, picking it up again.

"How did you even get that?" Twilight asked.

"Clothes beam." Gohan said.

"Clothes beam?" Everyone asked.

"Another time." Gohan said.

Then they noticed the tail.

"What's that?" Pinkie asked.

"This?" Gohan asked, raising his tail. "It's my tail." He said.

...

"SCIENCE!" Twilight yelled as she lunged forward.

"Whoa, whoa!" Gohan said as he flew up.

"I need to study it!" Twilight yelled as she desperately reached up to Gohan.

"Another time!" Gohan said.

"Aw!" Twilight moaned.

"Twilight, he'll indulge another time!" Sunset said.

"I'm just as much of a nerd as you are, Twilight. I want to become a scholar too, and maybe study my tail, but another time." Gohan said.

"Besides, he can tell us about it another time!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Fine!" Twilight said, crossing her arms and sitting on the steps.

"Speaking of scholar, do any of you know how I can go to school here?" Gohan asked.

"Well, you need to the principal's office and ask: 'Principal Celestia? Can I please, please, PLEASE go to school here with two scoops of vanilla ice cream sprinkles peanuts and goober berry sauce?'" Pinkie said.

"Pinkie." Everyone said.

"With a cherry on top?" Pinkie asked before smiling.

"Ignore all that. You just have to ask Principal Celestia." Sunset said.

"She'll let you pass no problem. Maybe you'll take placement tests, and you can go to whatever grade you end up in." Rainbow Dash said.

"Ah. Thank you." Gohan said.

"Where's Goten?" Fluttershy asked.

"He's off somewhere playing with his friends. I think he's fishing or something." Gohan said.

"How's life?" Sunset asked.

"It's the best! Apart from almost dying, I just reconciled with my past!" Gohan said. "Well, most of it." He added.

"You reconciled with your past?" Rarity asked.

"Wait, I'm confused." Twilight said.

"You don't know the whole story, Twi." Applejack said.

"In short he was betrayed by his past friends. That's why he's here." Sunset said.

"But they suddenly forgave you?" Twilight asked.

"That's the weird part! Apparently, time passes much slower in Equestria compared to Earth. It's been seven years to them." Gohan said.

"Seven years!?" Everyone asked in surprise.

"And that's not the worst part. They're all dead." Gohan said.

...

"Why!?" Everyone asked.

"Beats me. Even they don't know what killed them. All I know is that my brother escaped his wrath." Gohan said.

"Wait... If they're dead, how did you talk to them?" Pinkie asked.

"In short, I had to go to hell to fight a villain, and Super Saiyan 2 wasn't enough. He even broke my sword!" Gohan said.

"Wait... You went to hell? Did you beat the guy?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Uh, yeah. I had an old friend help me. I turned-" "-Super Saiyan 4!?" Pinkie interrupted.

"For Kami's sake, why do you keep calling it that!?" Gohan asked.

"Because it is!" Pinkie said.

"Uh... What is this Super Saiyan 4?" Sunset asked.

"Sounds cool. Even though you skipped 3." Rainbow Dash said.

"How do I even know about it?" Pinkie asked.

"First off, I really don't think it's called Super Saiyan 4. It exists because I have my tail again. The power was Super Saiyan 2 on steroids times ten." Gohan said.

"That sounds like a hefty boost." Sunset said.

"Can you show us?" Fluttershy asked.

"I'd rather not." Gohan said.

"What? But why!?" Pinkie whined.

"Fluttershy would call me a scary monster if she saw it and I'd also tear up this place just trying to transform." Gohan said.

"Oh. That makes sense." Twilight said.

"Okay. How was life here?" Gohan asked.

"We're going on a camping trip sometime when summer vacation happens! In like, nine months... You wanna come with us?" Pinkie asked.

"Sure. I think Goten would like to go too." Gohan said.

"Perfect!" Twilight said.

"Now, are we ready for training?" Gohan asked.

"Yeah, I'm ready to fly!" Rainbow Dash said, saluting.

The nine (including the dog) were on the empty soccer field.

"It's funny to me how whenever we train, the soccer field happens to be empty." Gohan said.

"That's because I'm the captain. I can call off meetings and practices whenever I want." Rainbow Dash said.

"Oh. That makes sense, I guess. Okay, now... Show me how you've all improved in ki." Gohan said.

Rainbow Dash cupped her hands by her side. "Kamehameha!" She yelled, firing...

Well, I can say okay blast into the sky.

It was kind of like the real thing, it was just a regular blast.

It was amplified a bit, so it kind of passes?

It was also blue instead of yellow, so it passes.

"Good job." Gohan said.

Pinkie Pie was next, and oh boy, she was ready to show off.

She threw a pink ki blast to the side, but actually managed to control it, so she started free styling with it.

She made it come back to her, and she dodged it by jumping and doing a handstand with one hand.

Bending one leg, she made the stuck up leg make yet another ki blast and bent both of them, sending the newly created ki blast flying.

She stood on her two feet again, and made the two ki blasts smash into each other by clapping, destroying each other.

She was not that winded.

"Nice job! I liked the dancing." Gohan said.

Then it was Sunset Shimmer to come up next.

'This'll surprise him.' She thought.

She was gonna use something he used.

She raised her hands up to her face, and pointed her fingers at her face.

"Solar Flare!" She yelled, creating a pretty bright light.

It wasn't as bright as Tienshinhan's first use for it, but let's say it was about a third as strong.

The rest of the Humane 7 shielded their eyes.

So did Gohan.

He grinned.

Sunset finally let the sunlight die down.

Gohan finally looked again.

"Nice job. Did you do it because of your name?" Gohan asked.

"It's the exact opposite of what my name means." Sunset said.

"That wasn't a shimmer, that was a really strong flash of light! That must've taken over 174,000,000,000,000,000 watts!" Twilight said.

"How do you know that!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I'm guessing that's how many watts the Sun takes to emit light to this planet, correct?" Gohan asked.

"Correct!" Twilight said.

"You two are just... Too nerdy. You two are perfect for each other." Rainbow Dash said.

Sunset gave Rainbow Dash a death stare.

"Nah." Gohan said, making Sunset stop.

Rarity was next. She was pretty much going to do what Pinkie did but with a stronger ball.

She made an upwards facing open palm, and wrapped her other hand around the arm for support.

She focused her ki into a strong blue ball into her hand.

Now, Rarity didn't need to use the other hand for support.

She needed it to guide the ball.

So, she started pointing it at Gohan.

The ball darted at him at an alarming speed.

But, suddenly, it changed course.

It darted to the left, straight at Fluttershy, who cowered so much she ducked.

The ball darted to the right of her, straight at... nothing.

Then she made it fly everywhere, making her hands fly everywhere.

It went all around the girls.

Rarity started panting and sweating.

Eventually she ended it by slamming it into the ground, killing the ball.

"How... Was... That....?" She asked in between pants.

"Great!" Gohan said.

Next up was Applejack.

She did the same as Rainbow Dash, but didn't yell Kamehameha.

She didn't yell at all.

Also she didn't cup her hands to charge it up.

"Good, good." Gohan said.

Now it was Twilight's turn.

"Now, I've been practicing, but this is the best I can do." She said.

She produced many minor ki blasts and started to blast them everywhere.

Her friends were constantly dodging the barrage...

Well, except Gohan.

The aim of her attack was not the best.

Eventually she got too exhausted and sat down on the ground, panting.

"Good job, Twilight." Gohan said, helping her stand up.

Finally, it was Fluttershy.

Needless to say, nobody expected her ki.

She put her hands together in front of her, forming an O with all her fingers.

She bent her knees.

Gohan tried remembering which technique she's using...

Because it was very familiar.

Fluttershy was charging up pink ki in between her hands.

And she was taking a lot of it.

"Haaaaaaaaaaaaa........." She began to yell.

Gohan could feel her power increase... Surpassing everyone else!?

It was taking a few minutes...

"Ugh, could she be any slower!? She's taking like, twenty hours." Rainbow Dash said.

"It's been five minutes." Twilight said.

"It's called hyperbole, egghead." Rainbow Dash said.

"I'm surprised you're correcting me with such expanded vocabulary." Twilight said.

"Currently, her ki blast is stronger than all of you. This is interesting." Gohan said.

"What? That's crazy!" Pinkie said.

Fluttershy's ki was at it's maximum now.

"HRRAAAGH!" She yelled as she sprang her hands forward, smashing her wrists together and releasing the immense ki on Gohan.

Gohan knew that if he let it blow up here, the soccer field would be ruined.

So, he kicked it up into the sky!

Fluttershy was panting, and fell to her knees.

"Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash said, helping her back up.

"That was incredible! I didn't know you knew how to use your surroundings to form ki." Gohan said.

"You mean the only way a machine can perpetually go?" Twilight asked.

"Well, yes, I suppose, but the point is, she surpassed you all threefold." Gohan said.

"What!?" Everyone asked.

Even Fluttershy was surprised.

"It's true. She charged up a ton of ki." Gohan said.

"It took me half an hour to get it right the last time..." Fluttershy said.

"You all are doing amazing. Sunset and Fluttershy were the most impressive. They learned something incredible all on their own. That doesn't mean Rarity and Pinkie don't get honorable mentions. The rest of you did great as well." Gohan said.

"So... Can we fly yet?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Sure thing! You guys, even you, Twilight, are ready!" Gohan said.

The girls started to cheer and stuff.

"But we need to start exercising." Gohan said.

Everyone booed and complained.

"Oh come on, you all can see the improvement!" Gohan said.

Everyone was doing push-ups.

Yes, even Gohan, because it made them feel better.

(Mostly because they didn't want him looking at the you know what. Even though he doesn't.)

He was doing quick one arm push-ups while they did the two arm push-ups.

Twilight finished early with 50 push-ups.

They were all done, and taking a break sitting down.

"Man, doing over two hundred push-ups... Never thought I could get this far." Rainbow Dash said.

"Me neither..." Fluttershy said.

"You see? This is progress. This is what training gets you!" Gohan said.

"Yeah, but we can never get on your level." Sunset said.

"Don't say that." Gohan said.

"Well, it's true!" Pinkie said.

"Yeah, you're a planet- Maybe galaxy buster!" Rainbow Dash said.

"I wouldn't go THAT far..." Gohan said.

"You constantly fight evil for TWO different worlds. You're like a soldier of war, but the only one!" Sunset said.

"Well, Goten's here, and he's super strong." Gohan said.

"Yeah, but you've been around for a while. I still don't understand why you didn't just end me instantly when I was a she-demon. Or Twilight, for that matter." Sunset said.

"What do you mean? The only way you could actually be defeated was through magic, not my strength." Gohan said.

Sunset got exactly what she wanted, she said something untrue and managed to get Gohan to lie.

"You didn't even go Super Saiyan on me." Twilight said.

"You were holding back on me too. You're a Super Saiyan 2, too." Sunset said.

"You let Goten get the spotlight!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Well... I..." Gohan said.

He didn't have an answer.

"We know you're humble, but you're on par with Fluttershy at this rate." Sunset said.

"Oh... I don't know about that." Fluttershy and Gohan both said.

"I actually have it in me to punch, she doesn't." Gohan said, trying to make Fluttershy seem better.

"B-But I don't have it in me to stand up for my friends..." Fluttershy said, trying to make Gohan seem better.

"What are you talking about? You stood by us to protect Twilight from Sunset!" Rainbow Dash said.

"And it was pretty cool that you fought with us against the Dazzlings." Sunset said.

"Don't doubt yourself. Nobody else at this school can actually hurt you now." Gohan said.

"R-Really?" Fluttershy asked.

"Each of you, except Twilight, are about as strong as my first teacher was when I was about four." Gohan said.

"Really? That strong?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Where am I placed?" Twilight asked.

"I know for sure you're about a sixth of everyone else, but you're catching up rapidly." Gohan said.

"A few months of training got us this?" Sunset asked.

"I could increase the pace with weighted clothes, if you want." Gohan said.

"Yes please!" Pinkie said.

"Next time, I'll be back with 20 kilogram weights for you all." Gohan said.

"Are you going to increase it as time goes by?" Sunset asked.

"Obviously." Gohan said.

Rainbow Dash punched her palm. "I'm pumped for that!" She said.

"Great! But let's learn how to fly, now." Gohan said.

"Yay!" Everyone cheered.

Everyone stood up.

"It's finally time to try our first flight. Just use your energy inside you, and be careful!" Gohan said.

Pinkie Pie was jumping up and down in an attempt to fly, while everyone else was just on their toes, concentrating as hard as they could.

This wouldn't get them to fly...

"Uh... Pinkie, flying and hopping and two different things." Gohan said.

Pinkie stopped jumping.

"Well what do you want me to do?" Pinkie asked.

"Use your energy... Remember that, don't just concentrate." Gohan said.

Suddenly, there was a wind emanating from Fluttershy.

The other girls stopped to watch.

Fluttershy's hair stood up.

She started to grunt as she slowly lifted herself up in the air.

Gohan smiled. "Yeah, that's it!" He said.

"Reall- AH!" Fluttershy said as she fell flat on her bottom.

"Oh... Sorry... I must've broken your concentration..." Gohan said.

"She already got it? Come on..." Rainbow Dash said.

Gohan helped Fluttershy back up. "Try that again, but don't focus so hard." He said.

Then, Pinkie was flying!

"Like this, Gohan?" She asked.

"Yeah, you got it!" Gohan said.

Pinkie started flapping her arms around. "I'm a little birdie! Yay!" She said.

"N-Not so high!" Gohan said.

"Aw, don't worry!" Pinkie said.

He had every single bit to worry about, she was 25 feet up in the air, and she just lost her flight, and she fell on the ground HEAD first!

"Pinkie! Are you alright!?" Twilight asked.

"See, you should've listened to me!" Gohan said.

"Aw, its fine!" Pinkie said, rubbing her head as she sat up.

Twilight helped her up.

Everyone finally mastered flight.

Well, except Sunset.

She couldn't use her energy for some reason.

Even Twilight managed to do it, come on!

Rainbow Dash and Pinkie were playing air tag while flying, Twilight was practicing and everyone else was on the ground.

"Can you explain it a little deeper!?" Sunset asked.

"Okay, let's just start from the beginning. Feel the energy from your stomach, and slowly bring it out. Relax your muscles. It's easy, it's kind of like using your imagination." Gohan said.

Sunset was sweating... But she managed to get some wind.

She stared to grunt loudly.

"Is she doing it yet?" Rainbow Dash asked as she was being chased by Pinkie.

Sunset's hair stared to fly up, and so did her jacket.

"You have the energy, Sunset. Now, push it upwards!" Gohan said, throwing his hands up.

Sunset managed to finally get it!

She slowly levitated off the ground!

She was about 6 inches up.

"Yeah! You got it!" Gohan said.

"I'm trying to concentrate!" Sunset retorted.

Gohan was going to hush.

Sunset focused a little... too hard.

She accidentally sent her energy forward, making her smash into Gohan head first quickly.

He didn't fall over, but he gave Sunset a big headache.

"Ow!" Sunset said, sitting on the ground and rubbing her head.

"Are you alright!?" Gohan asked.

"Yeah, I'll be fine, ugh!" Sunset said, holding back a few tears.

Smashing into Gohan was like smashing into a hard rock.

"Why are you as hard as a rock!?" She asked.

"If you smashed into a rock you would've destroyed it." Gohan said.

Well, now they're flight masters.

Not really, but good.

Anyway, now he and Goten are going to CHS!

For some placement exams!

It's not how it works but I don't see it happening any other way.

So, it was an early morning.

Gohan and Goten came through the portal.

And with the original father gi.

(Gohan's in his father's gi for the rest of the chapter)

"So, ready to go to school?" Gohan asked.

"We're at the school." Goten said.

"I meant are you ready to learn." Gohan said.

"Oh. Yeah, I am!" Goten said.

Nobody was at school except for the teachers.

The two entered the school and went towards the principal's office.

Gohan knocked very lightly.

"Come in." Celestia said.

The door opened, and the two walked into the room.

"Son Gohan? What brings you here? And so early?" Celestia asked.

"Hello Principal Celestia. My brother and I wanted to get an education here." Gohan said.

"You want to go to school here?" Celestia asked.

"Yep!" Goten said.

"Okay, please, take a seat." Celestia said, gesturing at the two seats in front of her.

They sat down.

Celestia reached into a drawer and grabbed a file.

"I need to get some personal info about you two and have you take a placement test. The reason being, the Academic Decathlon. You boys have great potential, and I won't just put you two in grades specific to your ages." Celestia said.

"Okay." Gohan said.

"Okay, can I get an address of where you two live?" Celestia asked.

"I don't think I can provide that... I could give you the address of our old home on another planet." Gohan said.

"That's right... You're from another world... I'll just take that." Celestia said.

"58N 018, 439 East District, Mount Paozu." Gohan said.

Celestia wrote it down.

"That's in the other Equestria, correct?" Celestia asked.

"No." Gohan said.

"Wait... You're not even from the other world?" Celestia asked.

"We're from other planets, yes." Gohan said.

"Oh, okay. A bit of a surprise, but that's alright. Now, what are your ages?" Celestia asked.

"I'm six!" Goten said.

"I'm thirteen." Gohan said.

Celestia wrote it down. "Okay... Now, what can we add as emergency contacts?" She asked.

"Emergency contacts?" Gohan and Goten asked.

"Do you two have a cell phone?" Celestia asked.

The two shook their heads.

Celestia looked at the sheet... "Eh, you won't need any contacts. You two are superpowered." She said.

"I mean, you could just give it to Sunset Shimmer. She's the only one with a way to contact us on the other side." Gohan said.

"Okay, I'll put her in." Celestia said.

And then there was more birthday stuff, and etc etc.

Now, placement test time!

The two were placed in the library to take the test.

And they started to take it.

Gohan just flew right through it.

Goten was good, but some things he didn't understand.

By the end of it, they received their placement.

It was the end of the day.

Gohan was placed in the same grade as the Humane 7, 11th grade.

(I don't know, okay?)

And Goten was placed in 6th grade.

Same grade as the human CMC...

Chi Chi raised them well...

Except Gohan wholly, but whatever.

Celestia led Gohan and Goten to their new lockers the next day.

"279 and 280. Huh. They're right next to the lockers of those girls you hang around." She said.

"Really? That's great!" Gohan said.

"Well, have a good day. And if you have any more questions, feel free to step in my office." Celestia said as she walked away.

Gohan opened his empty locker.

"What was the point of me doing that again?" He asked himself, closing the locker.

"I dunno." Goten said.

Then the Humane 7 were all walking their way.

"What's Gohan and Goten doing here?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Let's go ask. Hey Gohan! Goten!" Sunset said, waving to them.

"Hi!" Gohan said, waving back.

Now they were all face to face.

"What are you doing here?" Sunset asked.

"We're going to school here!" Gohan said.

...

"WHAT!?" Everyone asked.

"You took the placement test!?" Sunset asked.

"Yep! I'm in 11th grade, and he's in 6th." Gohan said.

"You're in our grade!?" Twilight asked.

"Why!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I want to go to Marevard." Gohan said.

"Great school, but why?" Sunset asked.

"I've always wanted to be a scholar." Gohan said.

"And Goten?" Pinkie asked.

"I wanted to learn again!" Goten said cheerfully.

"So... You're going to be here everyday? That's awesome!" Sunset said.

"Yeah, but if something's happening in Equestria then we'll be late. Or absent." Gohan said.

"But we'll be here most of the time!" Goten said.

"Fabulous!" Rarity said.

"Hey, if anything happens, we'll just send in the world's strongest bookworm!" Sunset said.

"Hey!" Gohan said.

"And I just wonder who'll get all the egghead awards at the award ceremony." Rainbow Dash said.

"Hey!" Gohan and Twilight said.

First class.

Let's start with Gohan.

He was going to science.

"We have a review on cellular biology." Sunset said.

"Crap, I forgot to study." Rainbow Dash said.

"Aw! But cells are boring!" Gohan complained.

"Agreement." Twilight said.

He entered the class with his single pencil and pen, and sat down at an empty desk.

The rest of the Humane 7 surrounded him.

Rainbow Dash was doing some last minute studying.

He saw the other taller students enter the room, and they were confused that a little kid was in their class.

(He's actually 4' 2" or something lesser than that. Everyone else is like... 5' 4" or something.)

"Class, settle down now." The female teacher said.

Everyone sat down.

"We have a new student. His name is... Gohan Son?" She asked.

"S-Son Gohan." Gohan corrected.

"This is a surprise... I know Vice Principal Luna said you were young, but you're tiny!" She said.

"I know that." Gohan said.

"And you aced the placement exam?" She asked.

"That is correct." Gohan said.

"How!?" Everyone in the class asked.

"I'm homeschooled." Gohan said.

"A-Anyway... I need to hand you these textbooks and notebooks for class." The teacher said. "But we have a review on cells today." She added.

"I wanna take it!" Gohan said instantly.

"A-Are you sure?" She asked.

Gohan nodded.

He aced the fucking thing.

And was the first to finish.

The teacher was just flabbergasted by Gohan, but paid no mind to it after the test.

"He's going to be Twilight's rival at this rate, jeez!" She muttered

For Goten, it played out like this.

He was a six year old in a gym class full of ten and eleven year olds.

Bulk Biceps was the gym teacher.

(I'm making it up, I don't know who the hell the real one is.)

"We have a new student, Son Goten." Bulk Biceps said.

"Why is a five year old here?" Applebloom asked.

"He passed the placement test. Today we're gonna play soccer, YEAH!" Bulk Biceps yelled, dropping the soccer ball to Goten's feet.

"Uh... Make sure he go easy on him, 'Kay?" He whispered to a student.

Everyone was waiting for him to kick it.

And he did.

INTO THE FUCKING SKY!

"Did he just kick the ball into space?" Scootaloo asked.

"I don't think it's in space." Goten said.

"And what makes you say that?" Snips sneered.

The ball crash landed in the field goal, putting a tiny dent in the ground.

Surprisingly, it was still intact.

"That." Goten said.

Goten was in the hallway in front of the trophy collection.

He was looking at the awards section.

There was a trophy of him kicking a ball in a soccer uniform with all his might.

"Huh. That was easy." Goten said.

Now it was Gohan's turn...

"We're going to play baseball, YEAH!" Bulk Biceps yelled.

Gohan was first to bat.

"Uh... You know that side of the plate is for lefties, right?" Bulk Biceps asked.

"My good hand is my left hand, sir." Gohan said.

"Well... Okay then." Biceps said.

Flash Sentry threw the ball at Gohan...

And it hit him right smack in the face.

"Oh jeez, are you alright!?" Flash called.

"Yeah, why?" Gohan asked.

"Y-You were hit square in the face with a baseball!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I thought I was supposed to?" Gohan asked.

"You were supposed to hit the ball with the bat, YEAH!" Biceps yelled.

"Oh." Gohan said.

Now he was in the field, and he was CLEARLY instructed on how to play.

So, he was waiting for that ball to fly.

CRACK!

The ball was high up.

"A HOME RUN, YEAH!" Biceps yelled.

Gohan fucking jumped high into the sky and caught it with his mitt.

Everyone was shocked.

Did I say shocked? I mean fucking shocked on steroids.

And he landed gently.

"How!?" Everyone asked.

"He's that kid from the Friendship Games." Sunset said.

"No wonder he's so good at this!" Bulk Biceps yelled.

Gohan was batting again, and again, he was GOING to hit the ball.

Applejack chucked that ball as hard as she could at Gohan.

Gohan swung his bat...

The ball was sent flying!

And flying...

And flying...

Flying...

"Oh look. It's gone." Gohan said.

He tried looking for it with his expert sight, but it was just gone.

Everyone, again, looked in utter shock.

Well, the Humane 7 at this point weren't.

Gohan was pitching!

Rainbow Dash as the catcher, and Pinkie was up to bat.

She was swinging it like crazy in preparation.

"Hey! Do it as hard as you can!" Sunset yelled from the benches.

"Are you sure!?" Gohan asked.

"Go for it!" Rainbow Dash and Pinkie yelled.

Gohan grinned as he turned Super Saiyan and wound up his arm.

"WAIT GOHAN NO!" The group yelled.

Too late, Gohan hurled that thing so hard it had it's own damn yellow aura.

"TOO MUCH!" Rainbow Dash yelled as she tried catching the ball in the mitt.

An explosion happened after the mitt touched the ball.

"Crapbaskets!" Gohan yelled as he reverted back to base form and ran to the damage.

"I'm okay!" Rainbow Dash yelled from the smoke that eventually died down.

The ball was in the half burned mitt off of Rainbow Dash's hand.

Speaking of whom, she was on the ground covered in muck.

"S-Sorry..." Gohan said.

"Don't sweat it! It only hurts a lot..." Rainbow Dash said.

"Did that kid just turn blond all of a sudden?" Bulk Biceps asked.

"I'm just as confused as you." Flash said.

Now Fluttershy was the catcher.

Rainbow Dash was on the bench with an ice pack.

"Do it as slow as you can, okay!?" Sunset yelled.

"Okay!" Gohan said.

Gohan slowly wound up his arm, and lightly, and I mean very lightly threw the ball.

...

Boy, I really meant lightly.

The ball was moving .002 mile a day...

And was still floating and spinning.

It slowly trekked along the empty space.

Everyone else fell on their back in an aneurysm.

Gohan chuckled awkwardly.

It took the rest of the period for the ball to even make it a tenth of the way...

Gohan and Goten stood in front of the awards mirror.

Now it was Gohan with a fucking trophy of his smashing a baseball with all his might with a bat.

"You too, huh?" Goten asked.

Gohan sighed. "Yep." He said.

"Lunchtime!" Gohan exclaimed in the lunchroom.

"Yay!" Goten said.

The two grabbed a lunch tray and jam packed it!

Three entrees, three desserts, three cartons of milk, three- Everything, okay?

They sat down with the Humane 7.

"So, how's your first day?" Sunset asked, sitting next to Gohan.

"It's alright." Gohan said.

"You made a ball perpetually move in mid air at the slowest pace possible! It still hasn't reached the plate yet!" Twilight said.

"I heard Goten kicked a ball into the sky and it came back the other way." Applejack said.

"How?" Goten asked.

"Applebloom, my sister." Applejack said.

"Coach Biceps was very happy with you two." Rainbow Dash said.

"He didn't seem happy. Just surprised." Goten said.

"No, he's happy. If you go past expectations, you'll get an A, guaranteed." Rainbow Dash said.

"Is that why we suddenly all got As in his class?" Sunset asked.

"Yeah, Gohan's training." Rainbow Dash said.

"Speaking of whom, are you two going to live with just that?" Sunset asked.

"I can live! My stomach isn't as big as his!" Goten said.

"I can live, even though it's not enough. Next time I should pack us lunches..." Gohan said.

"Let's dig in!" Goten said.

The two brothers started wolfing their meals down.

Gohan grabbed three apples at once and ate it all.

Goten ate the fruit bowl quickly.

"And the competition starts!" Pinkie yelled.

"Shall we commentate?" Rarity asked.

Gohan stopped for a moment. "No." He said before eating again.

And that concludes day 1.

The next morning...

Gohan and Goten came through the portal with huge red tied cloths packed with stuff.

The Humane 7 were all waiting.

"So, how many books did you bring?" Twilight asked.

"Books?" Gohan and Goten asked.

"Isn't that what those huge red bags are full of?" Pinkie asked.

"It's just lunch." Gohan said.

"You packed yourselves lunches THAT big!?" Twilight asked.

"You'll wipe out half a civilization with all the food you two eat in a day!" Applejack said.

"That's an understatement, Applejack." Twilight said.

I'm not going to do more unless it's an important event.

And also, I know that's not how school works, but whatever.

Spike having to challenge other dragons, heh.

Gohan and Goten were a great use for that.

"You need us to go with you to the Dragon Lands?" Gohan asked.

Twilight, Rarity and Spike were visiting.

They were outside his and Goten's little house.

"Yeah, I need to get there!" Spike said as he scratched himself.

"And we do need the protection." Rarity said.

"Hey Goten! We're going to see dragons!" Gohan said.

"Ooh! Ooh! I'm coming!" Goten yelled as he ran to Gohan.

"Last time I beat up a few dragons." Gohan said.

Well, now they're in the Dragon Lands.

Twilight and Rarity were disguised as a rock while Gohan and Goten just hid.

It wasn't a problem if they were caught, they couldn't be caught anyway.

Spike was sitting on top of the 'rock.'

The dragons from before, specifically Garble and his goons were coming.

"Oh look! It's Sparkle Warkle!" Garble said.

"Its Spike?" Spike said.

"Are you sure your pony friends didn't give you a pony name?" Garble said.

"Not all my friends are ponies. Some of them are aliens." Spike said.

"Like that last guy who beat us up!? He's in for it the next time I see him!" Garble yelled.

"Well, it was nice to see you too." Spike said.

"I didn't say it was nice to see you! I don't like you." Garble said, shoving Spike off the rock.

He sat on it himself, crushing the ponies inside.

"Hey! That's my rock!" Spike yelled.

"Then why aren't you sitting on it?" Garble taunted.

Well, Gohan came in handy.

Used ki to push him off.

And used telepathy to get Spike on.

"Hey, what the heck?" Garble asked.

"See? Nature agrees with me." Spike said with a smirk.

Then, the Dragon Lord, Torch emerged!

'He's not that powerful...' Gohan and Goten thought.

"Dragons of Equestria, HEAR ME! I have been Dragon Lord for longer than many of you can remember! And my reign has been extraordinary!" Torch called.

...

"AGREE WITH ME!" He demanded.

The dragons all cheered from there.

"Torch! Torch! Torch!" They all cheered.

Then he got them to stop.

"Who is that?" Spike asked.

"It's Dragon Lord Torch, dummy." Garble said.

"No, who is that next to him?" Spike asked.

There's a smaller dragon next to Torch.

"That's his daughter, Princess Ember. I wouldn't even look at her if I were you. Unless you want Torch to EAT you." Garble said.

Spike gulped in fear.

Gohan managed to move closer to Spike unnoticed. "He can't hurt you with us around." He whispered.

Then he scooted back to where he was.

"This is fascinating! Dragons are notoriously reckless, but they do whatever the Dragon Lord says!" Twilight said.

"Unfortunately..." Torch called. "According to Dragon Law, it is time for me to step down! Sad, I know." He said.

...

"BE SAD!" He yelled.

The dragons all 'cried.'

"This is why I have summoned you. To compete for the throne, in the Goblet of Fire!" Torch called.

The dragons cheered.

"Why are we doing this again?" Goten whispered.

"Spike was glowing and he was summoned here by that dragon." Gohan whispered, pointing at Torch.

"He doesn't seem all that strong to me." Goten said.

"To everyone else, he is." Gohan said. "Plus, his power level's a little close to yours~." He sneered.

"Yeah, but I'm still stronger!" Goten said.

"Maybe it'll be even if you didn't go Super Saiyan." Gohan said.

"Whomever has the strength and fortitude to retrieve this bloodstone scepter from the heart of the flame-cano will be crowned Lord of the Dragons!" Torch called, flinging said scepter into a volcano or something.

There was an explosion, and the dragons were no longer glowing as a result.

"When the scepter disappeared, the dragons stopped glowing! We are learning so much!" Twilight whispered, writing down notes.

Rarity JUST happened to sneeze.

"Uh... Excuse me." Spike said.

"Ugh! You even sneeze like a pony!" Garble said.

"The Gauntlet is dangerous, for I designed it myself! Only dragons with my ferocity, strength, and determination will be able to finish. We will gather at the cliff when the sun is at its peak!" Torch called.

The dragons cheered.

"I don't want to be Dragon Lord or dragon toast, and I stopped glowing, so let's sneak out of here!" Spike whispered.

"Now hold on, Spike. This could be interesting." Gohan said.

"Did you hear what I said?" Spike whispered.

"And do you know who you're with?" Gohan asked.

"Good point. But still." Spike whispered, starting to walk away.

Torch noticed.

"Where do you think YOU'RE going, little dragon!?" He called.

Every other dragon stepped away from Spike.

Luckily, Gohan and Goten were deep within the crevices of the rocks.

"Oh, uh... Hiya Lordship! Uh... I was just going home!" Spike said.

Torch lowered his head to Spike. "You don't get to leave unless I SAY you can!" He said.

Ember landed beside Spike. "Dad, look at him. He's just a runt. Besides, he doesn't even want to compete. Let him go." She said, doing the shoo gesture.

"He is rather tiny, heheh, I could squish him with my pinky claw!" Torch called.

Spike chuckled nervously.

"That wasn't a joke, it was a fact. When I want you to laugh, I will say, BE AMUSED!" Torch yelled.

"Of course your Lordship! I guess I don't understand dragon customs! Another reason why I shouldn't compete." Spike said.

"Very well, little dragon. I release you." Torch said.

"Thank you! And thank you!" Spike said, pointing at Ember.

Ember rolled her eyes.

Spike started moving the 'rock' away.

Ember flew towards the gauntlet, but her father caught her.

"Where do you think YOU'RE going!?" He asked.

"To prepare for the gauntlet." Ember said.

"No you're not, you're not much bigger than that runt I just sent home!" Torch said.

"But I'm smarter than most of these boulderheads and you know it!" Ember complained.

"Being smart won't help you win this gauntlet, it was designed for a BIG, STRONG dragon to win, because it takes a big, strong dragon, TO LEAD! Besides... I SAID NO!" Torch yelled, blowing Ember away a few feet.

"Ugh! I hate when he does that!" Ember said, flying away.

The dragons were all talking to each other now.

They were talking about what they would do when they win.

And since Garble wants to get revenge on Gohan...

He's gonna destroy Equestria.

Equestria would be in danger if any of them won, actually.

Spike was convinced that he had to compete!

Well, they hadn't thought of Gohan and Goten just defending it.

Like usual.

The Gaunlet of Fire began!

Spike started swimming towards Flame-cano Island!

And Gohan was swimming him from underwater.

So he was faster than the flyers.

Goten was swimming the ponies with a barrier for oxygen, so unique perk that was.

"How is that little shrimp swimming faster than we can fly!?" Garble asked.

Spike was even avoiding all the Sea Monsters.

But then, some dragon was knocked out of the sky!

"He's gonna drown! Get him, Gohan!" Spike yelled.

Gohan nodded slowly and he dove deep to grab said dragon.

The five all waited for the dragon to regain consciousness on the island.

Twilight and Rarity were hidden in seaweed while Gohan and Goten hid behind a rock.

Spike removed the helmet to reveal...

Ember?

She coughed out water.

"Princess Ember!" Spike said.

"What do you think YOU'RE doing?" Ember sneered as she got up.

"Only saving YOUR scales!" Rarity said, blowing her cover.

"Did that seaweed just talk?" Ember asked as she walked over to the seaweed.

She revealed the two ponies.

"Ponies!? What are they doing here!?" Ember asked.

"They're my friends! And you can come out, Gohan!" Spike said.

Gohan and Goten stepped out.

"Am I seeing two monkeys? And friends? Dragons don't DO friends." Ember said.

"Well, this dragon does!" Spike said with pride.

"Whatever. I don't care. As long as NONE of you get in my way. I have a gaunlet to win." Ember said, taking her helmet.

"But your dad said-" "-I don't care about what my dad said! I'll show him and every dragon who thinks I'm just a little princess there are better things than being big and strong!" Ember interrupted.

Gohan chuckled.

Garble was flying overhead, and saw...

The ponies and the Saiyans.

Ooh... Did those Saiyans get his blood boiling.

He dove down for them.

"Incoming!" Gohan yelled.

"I'll get you you stupid monkey!" Garble yelled.

Ember quickly got her helmet on, while Spike cowered behind Gohan.

Garble landed nearby.

"It's time for payback, shrimp!" Garble yelled.

"Hey buddy, guess what?" Gohan asked.

"What?" Garble asked.

"I was never here to begin with." Gohan said grimly, before instantly punching him in the face, temporarily blinding him with pain.

"Ow, WHAT THE HECK!" Garble yelled.

Ember was incredibly surprised by the speed and strength of the Saiyan.

"Quick, lets hide!" Gohan whispered to his brother and the ponies.

Twilight and Rarity just got the seaweed back on.

As Garble finally got his sight back, he looked to see...

Just Spike and Ember.

"What the- Where did that monkey go!?" Garble asked.

"What monkey? You just landed and fell over." Spike said.

"Uh... Yeah, uh... You just dropped dead, man." Ember said in a 'man' voice.

"What?... Gr... I smell ponies." Garble said, sniffing around.

He sniffed Spike. "No, you're not the smell..." He said.

Garble got REALLY close to the ponies, sniffing the seaweed!

Ember swooped in.

"Uh, yeah, it's me! I robbed a few ponies before I got here!" Ember said, stepping between him and the ponies.

"Nice! I like your style. Have I met you before? You kind of look like..." Garble said.

"My old neighbor! Uh, Sandy... Rockbeach!" Spike lied.

"I've wasted enough time making small talk. Get it? Haha! Because you're too small to win this! I'm funny." Garble said, flying away.

Ember took off her helmet, and the Saiyans stepped out again.

"Okay, two questions. One, how did YOU knock a dragon down so quickly, and two, why did you cover for me? You could've had one less competitor." Ember said.

"Don't underestimate Gohan. He's small, but he could've killed Garble back there!" Spike said.

"Nobody THAT small can kill a dragon." Ember said.

"Last time I broke his arm. Size doesn't matter, Ember. Look at my brother. He's six, and already stronger than everyone on this planet. Besides me, of course." Gohan said.

"He isn't stronger than my dad, and neither are you." Ember said.

"You DON'T want to challenge Gohan." Twilight warned.

"That's enough. Just go, we have a competition to win." Gohan ended.

"Why don't we help Ember?" Goten asked.

"Me? Use YOUR help?" Ember asked.

"Just look!" Goten said, pointing at the sky.

Boulders were beings hurled, and many dragons fell.

"Yikes. I guess that's what makes it a challenge..." Ember said.

"Challenge?" Goten asked.

"For them it's harder, Goten." Gohan said.

"Oh."

"Hm... I don't know..." Ember said.

"It would be a good idea. We both trust each other, and having two superheroes help us win would be awesome!" Spike said.

"Are you sure about this, Spike?" Twilight asked.

"She could've spilled the beans about you with Garble, but didn't. Besides, Gohan and Goten'll keep her in check." Spike said.

"I guess I'll join you." Ember said.

"Great!" Spike said, gesturing for a handshake.

Ember hesitantly shook his tiny claw.

"Just so you know, this doesn't mean we're gonna pick flowers or exchange necklaces or whatever pony friends do." Ember said.

"Good luck, we'll meet you at the top!" Twilight said.

"I'll trail behind. Maybe destroy some boulders for them. Could be fun." Gohan said.

"Okay, get on, then." Ember said.

Spike got a piggyback ride from Ember.

"You too, monkey." Ember said.

"What? I can fly myself, and stay under the radar. Also, I weigh over 4 tons." Gohan said.

"You're too small to be 4 tons and you don't have wings, dummy." Ember said.

Gohan started flying. "I'm flying." He said.

"Uh...?" Ember asked.

"It's a trick!" Goten said as he flew beside Gohan.

The four started flying up.

The slingtails were large in number.

They were hurling boulders like crazy!

Ember was struggling to dodge.

Luckily, Spike being her second pair of eyes, spotted the ones from behind.

"Pull up, there's one on your tail!" He yelled.

Ember was able to dodge that one.

"Left!" Spike said.

Ember moved out of the way.

Then, four boulders were hurled at them all at once!

"What do we do!?" Ember asked.

Suddenly, they were all destroyed.

Ember looked around in surprise.

"Down here." Gohan said from below.

He and Goten had destroyed them with ki blasts.

"There's another on your tail!" Spike yelled.

They all traveled further up the mountain.

Then they landed near a cave.

Spike jumped off of Ember, while Gohan and Goten hid.

"So, what now?" Spike asked.

"I think we go through there." Ember said, pointing at the cave.

A few dragons got roasted in there.

The flames were that powerful...

Ember and Spike were worried.

Then the two ponies happened to show up... as a tree...

"Oh, that looks scary! I mean, you can do it!" Rarity reassured.

"Listen, Spike. I wouldn't have made it this far without you. So I guess, if you want to, we could keep working together. I mean, just until we get through that tunnel." Ember said.

"Okay!" Spike said

"Don't worry guys. If we go in as soon as the cave breathes fire, I can set up a barrier for us to walk through it. Well, Goten can do it too." Gohan said.

"Really? What kind of monkey are you!?" Ember asked.

"I'm not even a monkey." Gohan said.

"But you have a tail..." Ember said.

"Saiyan biology." Gohan said.

"Let's just go." Spike said, running in the cave with Ember.

"We'll be right behind you!" Twilight whispered.

"Just don't die, Twilight." Gohan said.

The four traversed the cave.

Well, two were hidden, but still traveled.

Their first obstacle was a spikey cruncher.

And boy, were those dragons suffering.

"It's almost impossible to pass through!" Ember said.

"Oh no it's not. Grab onto me." Gohan said, putting two fingers to his forehead.

"What? Why?" Ember whispered.

"He's gonna teleport us there." Spike said, putting a hand on Gohan.

Ember reluctantly put her hand on his shoulder.

And they instantly popped to the other side.

Gohan and Goten quickly hid once more.

"H-How did he...?" Ember asked.

"Save the questions for later." Spike said.

Garble was about to pass through, but was caught in between the not sharp parts of the cruncher.

He saw Spike and Ember traversing further, and he managed to get out.

The next obstacle was a bunch of crystal shards trying to stab them.

Ember and Spike managed to pass through unharmed...

But Spiked noticed one about to stab Ember from above!

He quickly rammed himself into Ember to move her out of the way.

Luckily, the shard missed.

The two continued.

Garble was following, but he was quickly stabbed by a shard.

Or, rammed into the wall.

The two teammates were near the end.

Twilight and Rarity were disguised as rocks now.

"Oh, you made it! Oh, we were so worried!" Rarity said.

"About us?" Spike asked before scoffing. "It was a piece of cake!" He said.

But he got dizzy and collapsed.

"Wait... How did you two get here?" Ember asked.

And then the ground shook, causing Rarity to almost trip over.

She was almost going to fall off the edge!

"Rarity!" Spike yelled as he dashed in, and grabbed her before she fell.

A lava geyser just happened to blow up at that moment, narrowly missing her.

"Oh thank you Spike!" Rarity said.

"Oh, it was nothing." Spike said humbly.

"Nothing? You just risked your life to save her, and they're putting their lives in danger JUST to support you!" Ember said.

"Well, that's what friends do. Don't you have anybody that looks out for you?" Spike asked.

"N-Not really... Unless I count you... Which I don't." Ember said. "Because we were only helping each other get through the tunnel, and now we're through the tunnel. So... That's it." She said.

"Wait... What do you mean?" Spike asked.

"Well, there's only one winner, one scepter, and ONE dragon lord! So, I guess it's every dragon for themselves." Ember said.

Spike was hurt. "Oh... So... We aren't really friends?" He asked.

"Maybe if we were in Ponyland, but, like I said, dragons don't DO friendship." Ember said, flying away.

"Don't worry, you still have us!" Gohan said.

"You're better off. She only thinks for herself. She's just like all the other dragons." Rarity said.

"She's not though, I know it! She saved me, even when she didn't have to!" Spike said. "I don't care what she says, that makes us friends!" He said, darting off towards the scepter.

"We made it!" Spike said.

They saw the scepter.

"We flew through every hole for you, obviously we made it." Gohan said from a rock.

"I can't believe I'm the only dragon to make it this far!" Spike said.

"You're not!" Garble yelled from behind. "And I'm not losing to a puny pony-loving dragon like you!" He said, grabbed Spike by his green scales.

They were on a small part of the ground, and if he dropped Spike, he would fall into sharp spikes!

"We have to do something!" Rarity said.

"I think someone will." Gohan said.

"What do you mean!?" Twilight asked.

Ember came crashing in, ramming into Garble!

He dropped Spike, though.

Garble smashed into the 'rocks.'

And she saved Spike from dying a second time.

"Ember! I thought it was every dragon for themselves! Why did you save me?!" Spike asked as they landed on the ground.

"That's what friends do! And I am. I mean, we are. I never should have left you back there. Agh, please don't make me talk about my feelings!" Ember said.

"What the!?" Garble asked as he saw the ponies.

The two started inching backwards.

"That's enough!" Gohan said as he he flew in front of Garble.

"You! You dirty litt-" Garble said before he was punched in the stomach.

He was then kicked to the side, smashing into a boulder.

"Spike, get the scepter!" Ember yelled as she flew at Garble to restrain him for good.

Spike started darting towards the scepter.

Ember tried holding Garble down, but he broke free and flew after Spike.

...And then he was kicked in the side by Goten.

Back to another rock.

"Why!? Dragons don't do helping!" Garble yelled.

"These dragons do!" Ember yelled as she held Garble down again.

Spike grabbed the scepter!

And it created a giant red shockwave, attracting all the other dragons.

The ponies were put into costume again, and the Saiyans hid.

"H-He has the scepter!?" Garble asked.

"Yes." Ember said as she unrestrained Garble. "Dragon Lord Spike." She added.

Garble was going to attack her again...

"Stop!" The new dragon lord called.

"You have to obey me." Spike said.

"B-But you cheated! With the monkeys and ponies!" Garble yelled.

"Every dragon for themself, Garble." Ember said.

"Gr... Oh, dang it. Dragon Lord Spike..." Garble said as he knelt for the new one.

The incoming dragons all knelt as well.

"You won't get away with this!" Garble yelled as he flew away.

Spike jumped down to Ember.

"Dragon Lord Spike. Hm! Has a nice ring to it." Ember said.

"Dragon Lord Ember." Spike said as he put the scepter in her hands. "Sounds a lot better." He said.

"What!? No, you're the dragon lord now." Ember said.

"The dragon lord is whoever brings the scepter back to your father. Besides, you'll make a great leader. I was just doing this to protect the ponies. But I know you'll protect them just as well as I would've." Spike said.

"You sure about this?" Ember asked.

"Absolutely. My home is in Equestria, with my friends." Spike said.

"Well, you'll have at least one friend here too." Ember said.

Spike gave her a hug.

"What are you doing?" Ember asked.

"It's CALLED a hug!" Spike said.

"Oh, uh... I don't know if I like it, but... Okay." Ember said.

Spike hugged even tighter, and she blushed.

Ooh~.

"Dragon Lord Torch!" Garble yelled from afar.

He flew right near his face.

"You may speak." Torch said.

"You see..." Garble said, before a bright red light shone from the sky.

It was Ember and the scepter.

She was bringing it back.

"Ember!? YOU!?" Torch asked.

"I know you didn't think I could do it, but I did." Ember said.

"I expressly told you not to do it, because you're not-" "I'm not big and strong." Ember interrupted.

"I know. But you know what? I won anyway. So maybe it takes more than just being big and strong to be a good Dragon Lord!" Ember said.

Torch thought about it...

"I was wrong, Ember. You might not be big, but you are strong and smart, and perhaps that counts for more than I thought. And you will make an excellent leader." Torch said.

"Thanks, dad." Ember said.

"Dragon Lord Torch!" Garble said.

"What is it!? I'm having a moment with my daughter here!" Torch yelled.

"I think this is important. She cheated!" Garble said, pointing a finger at Ember.

"What!?" Torch asked.

"She teamed up with some monkeys and ponies and that little wimp Spike!" Garble said.

"PONIES!?" Torch asked.

"Dad, it's not true!" Ember said.

"Oh really? Then let's check." Garble said, flying down to Spike and the 'rocks.'

"These are my rocks!" Spike yelled as he defended them.

Garble smacked him away and revealed the ponies!

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!?" Torch yelled.

"Dad, it's every dragon for themselves. You never said I couldn't get help." Ember said.

"That is true... But! I will squash these ponies anyway!" Torch yelled.

"No! You can't!" Spike yelled.

"Please, dad, don't!" Ember yelled.

"Too late!" Torch yelled as he reached over and was about to squash them with his pinky claw!

Rarity screamed high pitch...

And Torch's finger stopped!

But the screaming was still going.

"What is this!?" Torch yelled as he removed his claw.

It was Gohan and Goten!

"That's them! Those are the monkeys!" Garble yelled.

"Dragon Lord Torch! You will not be harming my friends ever!" Gohan yelled.

"Yeah right, Torch'll put you in your place!" Garble yelled.

"Dad, you can't! They're my friends!" Ember said.

"Dragons don't DO friends!" Torch yelled. "I'll take care of the ponies and monkeys, then you are the new Dragon Lord!" He said.

"Goten, protect Twilight and Rarity." Gohan said.

"Hey! You fought the big guy last time! I want a turn!" Goten said.

"Oh, right. Yeah, you go, I'll defend Twilight and Rarity." Gohan said, jumping to their side.

"Torch!" Goten yelled as he flew up. "This is your last chance. I don't want to hurt you. Let us go, and you won't regret dealing with me." He said.

Torch started laughing.

"You? Hurt me!? Hah!" Torch yelled.

Ember flew to Goten. "You're going to kill yourself!" She whispered.

"Trust me. I can take him." Goten said.

"Ember, get back here! Your father will take care of this." Torch said.

Ember reluctantly flew to her father's side.

"Now you listen here, monkey. I will fry you instead of squishing you if you dare fight me!" Torch yelled.

"Why don't you try?" Goten asked.

"What was that!?" Torch asked.

Ember was clearly fearful for Goten.

"Unless you want me to throw the first punch." Gohan said with a smirk.

"Pfft. Like YOU could hurt me." Torch said.

"Is that a 'Yes?'" Goten asked.

"Yeah." Torch said.

Goten flew at Torch and smashed his fist into his cheek.

It left a mark, and

"Ouch. That did hurt." Torch said, rubbing his cheek.

"Now, please let us leave." Goten said.

"Oh, but I can't, you see. It's YOUR turn! Haha!" Torch yelled before he breathed hot flames on Goten.

(His power level's like, 200,000,000. Goten's more of a 230,000,000 or something.)

'Why didn't he dodge it!?' Ember thought.

"Hah! That's what your monkey friend gets, Spike!" Garble said.

"I wouldn't have an early victory if I were you." Spike said.

Torch stopped his fire.

"There. That shou- WHAT!?" Torch asked.

Goten was still standing.

Unfazed, too.

Ember was surprised!

"H-How!?" Torch, Garble and Ember asked.

"I just moved the flames away with my energy!" Goten said.

"Take this!" Torch yelled as he threw his giant claws at Goten.

Goten dodged by flying upward, and he planted another punch on Torch's nose.

He was bleeding a bit!

Torch was left in shock.

In a fit of rage, he started to slash everywhere.

Goten narrowly dodged all but one.

Torch managed to cut his orange shirt with one claw.

"Uh oh." Goten said.

"Haha! He's done for!" Garble boasted.

"My brother is stronger than you think, buddy." Gohan said.

"I can take YOU right now, now that I think about it!" Garble said.

Gohan sighed. "You can't do anything." He said.

"Why you!" Garble yelled as he charged at Gohan.

Torch threw a fist, and Goten blocked with his hands.

The two were struggling to push each other back, going back and forth.

Goten had enough, and quickly turned into a Super Saiyan.

He instantly tossed Torch's fist back to him.

"What!?" Torch asked, trying to recover quickly.

Goten started to rush Torch, punching and kicking and performing double axe handles on multiple parts of his body.

Torch felt enormous pain.

"Argh! What the heck is this!" He asked as he was getting beaten up.

Garble was trying to charge at Gohan, but he kept getting pushed back by ki.

Twilight took down notes. "Dragons are not as bright as we think. Trial and error clearly not present." She wrote.

Goten ended his assault, and Torch could barely stand at this point.

There were multiple marks on his body.

Ember was surprised even more.

Goten just beat him up like it was nothing in an instant.

Goten flew to Torch's face.

"Seriously, this is your last chance. I won't stop unless you let us go!" Goten said.

"Dad, stop it!" Ember said.

"Hush, Ember." Torch said.

"No, dad! You'll kill yourself at this rate!" Ember said.

"Dragon Lord Torch, kill him already!" Garble yelled as he was pushed back by ki.

"He can't, don't you get it?" Spike asked.

"What?" Garble asked.

"Goten's in an entirely different league." Spike said.

"And he has a brother who's even stronger." Twilight said.

"Me." Gohan said.

"You are still holding back on me?" Torch asked.

"I'm not using my full power in this form." Goten said.

"Dad, please. He won't hurt any of us." Ember said, realizing Goten's monstrous strength.

She could feel his Super Saiyan aura.

Torch was not happy about surrendering to a tiny monkey...

"Fine. You may leave with your pony friends." Torch said.

Goten smiled and reverted back to base form. "Thank you, my lord." He said, flying down to his friends.

"Lord? He respects me enough to say lord? He's not that bad, he isn't." Torch said.

"He's our friend." Ember said.

"What!? How!?" Garble asked.

"Push-ups, sit-ups, and plenty of milk and/or juice." Gohan said.

"Did you see me, big brother?" Goten asked.

"You were pretty awesome out there." Gohan said, smiling.

Ember flew down to Gohan. "I underestimated you." She said.

"Everyone does." Spike said.

"I won't let the Dragon Lands fall to any enemy. Get me if nobody can fight it. Or my brother, he's just as strong." Gohan said.

"I suppose we can come to a truce with the ponies. And the monkeys." Ember said.

"We're not monkeys. There are only two of us on this planet. We're Saiyans/humans. Don't worry about it too much." Gohan said.

"Okay. It was great to see you. Come visit sometime! I'll make sure nobody eats you. Or you will, actually." Ember said.

"Great!" Twilight said.

"Now, let's get home and fix your gi, Goten." Rarity said.

Goten looked down at his gi. "Yeah, I got it cut." He said.

Gohan spent Hearth's Waming in the human world again.

This time, with Goten.

And he made sure of one thing.

So it was Hearth's Warming again, and again, Gohan was invited to the human world along with Goten.

Gohan made a request which the Humane 7 agreed to.

Now, the Humane 7 were all waiting outside the portal... Again.

It became a part of their lives at this point.

Then the two Saiyans came through the portal, with sacks.

"So, you brought another sack of stuff?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Sure did. Even Goten did." Gohan said.

"Yay!" Goten and Pinkie yelled.

"He took a lot of time and effort to get his gifts for you all." Gohan said.

"And for you too, big brother!" Goten said.

"Me?" Gohan asked, pointing at himself in confusion.

"Uh huh!" Goten said.

"Aw!" Everyone else said.

Gohan smiled. "Thanks, Goten." He said.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Pinkie said.

They were in Pinkie's room... Again.

And she ordered double the amount of pizza as last time.

But enough about that, it was Hearth's Warming Eve slumber party time!

Goten's first with them.

Not in general.

The Saiyans left their individual presents in the corner.

The girls got into pajamas and started doing things like take selfies, go on the laptop and other social media things.

Spike... He and Fluttershy were getting along real nicely.

With ear scratches and stuff.

Gohan and Goten just did Image Training until the girls suggested they do something.

How did they do it...?

They sat crisscross, put their hands on their legs and sat up straight while closing their eyes.

They managed to connect their minds.

It was a favorite pastime of theirs, since in Equestria they were usually suckered into parties like this with the Mane 6 and CMC.

I guess I'll go into detail for you...

The battlefield was just a never ending terrain of flat silver tiles.

Gohan and Goten were going at it.

Goten had trouble dealing with Gohan.

Whenever Goten grew tired in his assaults, and he became slower in movements, Gohan punished by rushing him at those moments with multiple stomach pummels.

Gohan wanted him to adapt.

And in this training, he did.

Goten started to threw multiple punches at Gohan, not giving him an inch.

But, this time, he slowed down on purpose during the assault without tiring out.

Gohan took this as an opportunity, and threw a punch.

Goten moved back fast enough to dodge Gohan's attack and grab his fist with both hands.

He swung Gohan around and tossed him to the side.

Gohan was sent flying...

And he put two fingers to his head.

He instantly appeared behind Goten.

Goten had no time to react as he turned around.

He was instantly met with a powerful kick.

"Hey! You two!" Rainbow Dash yelled, snapping them out of their little imaginary battle.

"Yeah?" Gohan asked, turning his head to the side.

"What are you two doing?" Applejack asked.

"Is this like a group meditation?" Twilight asked.

"No, its Image Training!" Goten said.

"Image Training?" Everyone else asked.

"It's basically intertwining two or more minds together in an imaginary battlefield. We train this way when we go to slumber parties and we're not doing much." Gohan said.

"What's the point of Image Training? That doesn't help you get stronger." Rainbow Dash said.

"On the contrary." Gohan said.

"Image Training can help you perfect techniques and fighting styles! You can adapt while Image Training too!" Goten said cheerfully.

"Goten adapted against a new flaw of his just now." Gohan said.

"Can you teach us?" Fluttershy asked.

"Later." Gohan said.

"Well, we were gonna start games!" Pinkie said cheerfully.

"Pinkie." A depressing voice came from the door.

It was Maud Pie.

Holding a shit ton of pizza.

"Your pizza's here." She said.

"Who's that?" Goten asked.

"Maud! Thanks sis!" Pinkie said cheerfully, hugging Maud.

"Her sister doesn't have as much energy as her." Goten said.

"I can't believe she's even related to Pinkie." Sunset said.

"The grease is dripping on my feet." Maud said.

"Well, maybe the games could hold off for now..." Rarity said.

After Gohan and Goten wolfed down like, 95% of the pizza, game time.

Last time Gohan just went to bed before that.

"Truth or dare~!" Pinkie yelled.

"Don't make me or Goten do stupid things." Gohan said.

"No promises." Pinkie said.

"We'll make sure you don't do something disgusting or whatnot." Sunset said.

"Thank you." Gohan said.

Everyone got in a circle and sat down.

"Rainbow Dash starts!" Pinkie said.

"Alright! Now Gohan, Truth or dare?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Dare?" Gohan asked.

"I dare you to punch yourself in the face as hard as you can WITHOUT hurting yourself." Rainbow Dash said.

"That's impossible!" Twilight said.

"Yeah! How's he gonna do that?" Spike asked.

"Oh, don't worry, I know." Gohan said.

"Oh! I get it!" Goten said.

"What's he gonna do?" Pinkie asked.

Gohan stood up, crossed his arms and bent his knees.

He performed the Multi-Form technique.

He made two of himself.

One of them turned Super Saiyan.

The base form Gohan smashed his fist into the Super Saiyan's face.

"Oh. That's brilliant!" Rarity said.

"You thought of that?" Fluttershy asked Rainbow Dash.

"Yeah." Rainbow Dash said.

"That was very smart." Fluttershy said.

Gohan became one and sat down again.

"Okay, Twilight, truth or dare?" Gohan asked.

"Dare." Twilight said boldly.

"Somebody's brave." Sunset said.

"Does she not pick dare or something?" Gohan asked.

"Yes." Everyone said.

"I dare you to lift this." Gohan said, removing a single boot.

"What!?" Twilight asked.

"You're making her lift 1500 kilos!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Trust me on this one, Twilight." Gohan said.

Twilight took a deep breath before making the attempt!

She grabbed the boot with both hands, and pulled as hard as she could!

The grunting was loud.

"Come on, Twilight. Put your energy into it!" Gohan said.

Twilight strained even harder, and suddenly...

The boot was actually off the ground.

But Twilight's face was red.

She kept trying...

And the boot rose higher!

"She's doing it!?" Sunset asked.

"Amazing!" Rarity said.

Gohan smiled.

Twilight couldn't take it any more and dropped the boot.

Goten swooped in and caught it with one hand before it crashed through the floors.

Twilight was panting crazily, gasping for air.

"You did AMAZEBALLS!" Pinkie yelled.

"...Amazeballs?" Gohan asked as he put on his boot again.

"It's a word she made up." Sunset said.

Twilight sat down again.

"You okay, Twilight?" Spike asked.

"Yeah... I'll.... I'll be fine... I can't believe I did that!" Twilight said.

"Your training has paid off, Twilight." Gohan said.

"I see that! Exercise is more beneficial than I thought!" Twilight said.

"Especially with Gohan as our teacher." Sunset said.

"Okay, Pinkie, truth or dare?" Twilight asked.

"Dare!" Pinkie said.

"I dare you to make a tray of cupcakes to appear!" Twilight said.

"You mean like this?" Pinkie asked, making a tray just appear in his lap.

"I-I didn't even see you do it!" Twilight said.

"I think she just put a tear in time and pulled it out of a previous or future time." Goten said.

"Really!?" Everyone asked.

"Pfft. I don't really know." Goten said.

Pinkie started laughing nervously. "Y-Yeah!" She said.

"Anyway... Sunny, truth or dare?" Pinkie asked.

"Truth." Sunset said.

"Do you have a crush~?" Pinkie asked.

Sunset recoiled a bit and blushed.

"I dare you to answer this: What are the contents of Pinkie's fridge?" Sunset asked.

"Whipped cream. Too. Easy." Rainbow Dash said.

"Dang." Sunset said.

"Fluttershy, truth or dare?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"T-Truth." Fluttershy said.

"Who do you think is the strongest here? Excluding Gohan and Goten, they're like, the strongest in the universe." Rainbow Dash said.

She wanted to give the nicest answer possible.

"I think we're all equally as strong..." Fluttershy said.

Everyone but Gohan imagined Goten by a riverside with a fishing pole.

Gohan imagined Goten diving in and pounding the tuna.

...What? With Goku gone, Chi Chi needs someone to do it!

"I caught the biggest fish ever! But then a little fishy came, and he devoured the entire Paozu tuna in one bite! I lost my catch!" Goten said.

"Oh no!" Fluttershy said sympathetically.

"Pfft, what a dream." Rainbow Dash mumbled.

"I hope you never get a dream like that again..." Fluttershy said.

"Same here!" Goten said.

"Losing that precious Paozu tuna is hard. They're endangered, mostly because our family hunted them for food." Gohan said.

"Applejack, truth or dare?" Goten asked.

"Dare." Applejack said.

"I dare you to try and lick your elbow!" Goten said.

Rainbow Dash started laughing at Applejack.

"Oh. Okay. Finally, Rarity, truth or dare?" Applejack asked.

"That last Hearth's Warming, Sweetie Belle had six months of detention. They managed to believe that she went to a club EVERY single day!" Rarity said.

"That happened to Applebloom too." Applejack said.

"And Scoots." Rainbow Dash said.

"They told Principal Celestia?" Gohan asked.

"Yeah.... After we forced them to." Rainbow Dash said.

"Oh. I guess my investigation went a bit too far..." Gohan said.

"Well, you stayed up all night investigating JUST for me. Is that too far?" Sunset asked.

"What are you all talking about?" Goten asked.

"Oh, right, I never told you. To sum it up, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were not happy that their sisters and sisterly figure weren't spending as much time with them as their friends. They started getting embarrassing photos of everyone and made it public. Everyone thought Sunset did it because some of the photos belonged to her." Gohan said.

"But I didn't, and Gohan proved it!" Sunset said.

"Yeah. In Cafeteria Court." Rainbow Dash joked.

Everyone laughed.

"Table 9, 7:00 AM." Gohan joked.

"PRESENTS!" Pinkie screamed.

"Yay!" Goten exclaimed.

'The nostalgia...' Gohan thought.

Everyone reached for one cup.

"Okay, let's do our gift exchange first." Sunset said.

"Gift exchange?" Goten asked.

"They do this for Christm- I mean, Hearth's Warming." Gohan said.

"And Gohan was pulled into it!" Pinkie said.

"Only because you guys said there would be one short." Gohan said.

"Or... Maybe you wanted to give something to someone special?" Goten joked.

"No, Goten." Gohan said.

"Are you sure~?" Rainbow Dash sneered.

"Yeah, I'm sure. I also got presents for everyone else, so this is just part of it. As an old friend once said: "Everyone is created equal, and everyone deserves the opportunity to suffer just as much as everyone else on this miserable planet."" Gohan said.

He quoted Vegeta.

"That... sounds really dark..." Twilight said.

"I don't agree with the wording but it's essentially the same as everyone is equal." Gohan said.

"Okay, gift exchange time!" Rainbow Dash said.

Everyone started exchanging gifts.

Rainbow Dash with Applejack, Twilight with Pinkie, Fluttershy with Rarity, and Gohan with Sunset.

"Here you go." Rainbow Dash said, handing a present to Applejack.

"Wait, you got me new cleats?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Yours are really worn out, RD." Applejack said.

"Thanks!" Rainbow Dash said, with the exact same shoes she usually wears. Just better because they're new.

"And you got me a new guide to fend off fruit bats from leaving the sanctuary? How'd you know that was happening?" Applejack asked.

"I may or may not have used the bathroom to get a few apples..." Rainbow Dash said.

"I've been trying for weeks, I thought I gonna have to give them more!" Applejack said.

"Okay, my turn, my turn!" Pinkie yelled.

Pinkie and Twilight exchanged their gifts.

Pinkie took a dramatic deep breath.

"YOU GOT ME A PLANNER!?" She asked in anger.

"I-I thought you were losing your schedule! Especially with these past few weeks!" Twilight said.

"HOW!?" Pinkie asked.

"Well, to be honest, you planned fifteen parties recently and you only did eight of what was planned." Twilight said.

"Yeah, you didn't party when Scoots was the MVP of the soccer game when you said you would." Rainbow Dash said.

"It slipped my mi- Oh. I see. Thanks Twilight!" Pinkie said, smiling brightly again.

"And you got me a... How did you even afford this!?" Twilight asked, lifting up her new portable telescope.

"It's one of the most powerful out there!" She added.

"It wasn't much! After 19 hours of doing things I was given that!" Pinkie said.

"What kind of things?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"It's a secret~!" Pinkie said.

Everyone was afraid she did something really weird for it.

Twilight looked out the window with her new gift. "I can see another planet! Oh wait... It's gone. Wait, it's back! And it's gone... What kind of a rotation pattern does this have?" She asked, putting her telescope down.

Now it was Fluttershy and Rarity's turn.

"Here you are..." Fluttershy said, handing her present over.

"He loves those plays, I saw one of them." Rarity said.

Now it was Gohan and Sunset's turn.

It was a black backpack. Big enough to carry a lot of books, but not for lunch.

"You never came to school with a bag, and your lunch is usually the thing you carry in those weirdly huge rags. I thought it would help you." Sunset said.

"Wow. Thanks!" Gohan said.

He put the bag aside and went inside his sack...

And pulled out a huge fucking package of sunflower seeds.

By huge, I mean huge.

Like, 200,000 sunflower seeds.

He dropped it in between him and Sunset.

"What the heck is that!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Sunset inspected the package...

"Sunflower seeds!? How did you know!?" Sunset asked.

"It came to me in a dream!" Gohan said proudly.

There was a teacher up front with adidas pants, yellow adidas jacket, a ski mask, sunglasses and an ushanka.

"Hello comrades! Welcome to another lesson! Today's lesson, semechki. Or, sunflower seeds if you are western spy." The teacher said in a Russian accent.

'Why am I even here?' Gohan thought.

"Semechki is the infinite squat power of the slav... It's also good for your significant other if he or she is true slav! Or if someone likes sunflowers, I don't give shit." The teacher said.

"Next lesson, what to tell your babushka if she asks you the question: "What would you like to eat?" You must remember these words, grind these words into your brain! Interrupt her mid sentence to say: "KOTLET! I want at least five kotlet! And seven blins!" And faster than you can say cheeki breeki chebureki..."

"Obviously! This would last a person a few months! Or week in my case." Sunset said.

"You really like them, don't you?" Rainbow Dash said.

"Yeah, I do." Sunset said.

"Great!" Gohan said.

Applejack leaned into Sunset's ear.

"You know, you really owe it to yourself to tell Gohan you're in love with him already..." She whispered.

"I guess we can't intrude on that." Gohan said.

"Yay!" Goten yelled as he jumped up to grab his sack.

"I'm surprised you two are even able to get things for us..." Twilight said.

"Gohan has a pretty high paying job." Rainbow Dash said.

"It's how we can eat so much all the time, heheh." Gohan said.

Goten came back.

"I made you all wood carvings!" He said, handing the Humane 7 each a wooden doll of themself.

"Wow! You made this?" Fluttershy asked.

It looked pretty exact.

"It's perfect!" Rarity said.

Goten finally handed the last one to Pinkie.

"Whee! Now I can fly while flying!" Pinkie said, flying her wooden self.

"You even got the hair matched up!" Rainbow Dash said.

She untied the bag, unleashing the full force of the infinite winds.

She closed the bag, and her hair stood up.

"Ooh... Yeah, should've mentioned it's infinite." Gohan said.

"Infinite!? YAY!" Pinkie said, unleashing it on herself yet again.

"Don't do it for too long, you'll get dehydrated." Gohan said.

Then she stopped.

"And finally, for everyone, even you, Sunset, 70 kilogram weighted clothes!" Gohan said, pulling out all that for everyone.

"An upgrade to our 20? Awesome!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Don't wear it now!" Sunset said.

"That reminds me- Don't sleep with your boots and weighted clothes on, Gohan! Tell Goten the same!" Rarity said.

"Okay. But Goten doesn't wear weights, and he removes his shoes." Gohan said.

Goten came back through the window with his new bike.

"So, how is it?" Twilight asked.

"Christmas?" Everyone asked.

"Well, that's just great. You know the history of Hearth's Warming, but not Christmas?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Now, tell us about your side adventures!" Sunset said.

"Side adventures?" Goten asked.

He had to remove Goten's shoes for him because of that.

He also draped a nice, warm blanket made by Rarity over him.

Sunset woke up in the middle of the night.

She barely saw it, but Gohan was missing.

So, that's what made her sit up and look around.

She could see his weighted stuff in the corner in the moonlight.

'Where did he go?' She thought.

She silently flew over the sleeping girls and dog and walked into the kitchen.

That's where she saw Gohan.

He looked like he was thinking deeply, staring out the window.

"Gohan?" Sunset asked.

Gohan looked to his side. "Sunset? Why are you awake?" He asked.

"I could ask you the same exact thing." Sunset said.

"Yeah, you could." Gohan said, staring out the window again.

"So, why?" Sunset asked.

"I'm just having trouble sleeping." Gohan said.

"Why?" Sunset asked.

"It's nothing, okay?" Gohan said.

"Clearly not. Is it something to do with your weird request?" Sunset asked.

"Don't get me a gift? Of course not." Gohan said.

"Well, actually, I wanted to ask, why?" Sunset asked.

"I wanted to make it extra special for Goten, not some special treatment for me too." Gohan said.

Sunset giggled.

"What's funny?" Gohan asked.

"You're so humble. You're really selfless. I like that." Sunset said.

"I don't know..." Gohan said.

"Anyway, tell me why you're not sleeping." Sunset said.

"Well, do you know why Goten's here?" Gohan asked.

"Dragon balls, yes." Sunset said.

"No, I mean why he used them." Gohan said.

"No, I don't..." Sunset said.

"And everyone else is dead. Even the greatest warriors on the planet couldn't beat him." Gohan said.

"Oh..." Sunset said, spraying some whipped cream on her finger.

"I'm afraid he did worse... I'm thinking he erased my mother's soul in the afterlife." Gohan said.

"T-That's a bit absurd, don't you think?" Sunset said.

"It does. But, I had dreams of this monster before Goten came. He stayed very grimly that he killed her twice." Gohan said.

"W-Well... You never know, the dream may have been false." Sunset said.

"And what if my dad's gone too? I don't believe he and my mother have been gone for so long on some honeymoon." Gohan said.

"Where he comes from, he learned how to fight... Since you need something to do... I thought you could be his training partner for a while?" Fluttershy asked.

Goten gave him puppy dog eyes.

And all the Crystal Ponies thought they were not who they really were.

"Okay, why did all the ponies just run away after spewing nonsense?" Gohan asked.

"Something strange is definitely going on." Twilight said.

They went to the castle, but then were halted by some guards.

"Who goes there?" The first guard asked.

"Uh... You don't recognize the Princess of Friendship?" Starlight asked.

"And the guy who saved Equestria more than once?" Spike asked.

"Of course we do." The first guard said.

"But that doesn't mean they're really them." The second guard said.

Gohan aimed his hand at the sky and fired a powerful blast.

"That proves I'm me." Gohan said.

"Don't worry guys!" Spike said, walking up to them casually. "They're with me." He added.

"We need some sort of identification." The first guard said.

"We'll take care of things from here." Cadence said.

Behind the guards were Cadence, Shining Armor, Sunburst and Flurry Heart.

"Thank goodness, it's Cadence! What's going on?" Twilight asked.

"We can explain, Twily. If it really is you..." Shining Armor said.

"Twilight retains her alicorn power level, so yeah. It's her." Gohan said.

"And how do we know you're you?" Shining Armor asked.

"Do you want me to demonstrate again?" Gohan asked.

"Actually, no, that's a stupid question. But I don't know about Twily..." Shining Armor said.

"I have this." Cadence said, running up to Twilight.

Sunburst brought Flurry Heart, who was in a tiny cradle over to the group.

"Yeah. Don't worry, Shining Armor, Cadence. We'll find the changeling. And protect Flurry if it has to come to fighting." Gohan said.

Goten, Twilight and Starlight were defending Flurry while Gohan went out to investigate.

He was trying to find a similar ki signature like before, but didn't get that.

He started trekking outside the Crystal Empire, since he looked already.

He was now in an ice canyon.

He sensed someone nearby, but it wasn't a changeling.

Maybe it was some pony traveling.

He traversed around until he saw the pony.

"A royal guard? What are you doing around here?" Gohan asked. "Shouldn't you be back in the Crystal Empire?" He asked.

"O-Oh! You saw me! I-I... Well, yes. I will leave now." The guard said, trotting away.

'He's not going in the direction of the Empire.' Gohan thought.

"Stop." Gohan said.

"Y-Yes?" The guard asked.

"Why are you so nervous?" Gohan asked.

"W-Well, uh..." The guard said.

"And why are you going that way? The Crystal Empire's that way." Gohan said, pointing at the direction of the Empire.

The guard sighed. "I can't do this anymore." He said in a different voice, turning back into what he really was.

A changeling.

"A changeling?" Gohan asked.

"Yeah. I'm nervous because of you." He said.

"Why do you feel so different than the other changelings...?" Gohan asked.

"Oh, so now another kind thinks I'm different than my own. I know you don't want to be friends." The changeling said.

"What? I never said that, you just have... Well, a kind of pure energy." Gohan said.

"H-How can you tell?" He asked.

"I know what a changeling's energy is like. Evil. Yours is more peaceful." Gohan said.

"E-Evil? Oh. No, not me. All I ever wanted was a friend." The changeling said.

"From the moment I first burst from my egg in the nursery hive..." He said, remembering when he was born.

All the babies hated each other.

"I... Was part of the attack on Canterlot during the royal wedding... But I had never seen true friendship like that, before you started massacring us." He said.

"Yes. The six ponies who stood together and fought. And I just couldn't steal and feed on it's love... I wanted to share it. So I escaped before you could kill me." He said.

"Don't be. After that, I knew I couldn't live with my kind anymore. I left, looking for love to share... But..." He said.

"But what?" Gohan asked.

"It's the Crystal Empire! I'm starving! It's full of love, and it's what drew me here! It's driving me CRAZY!" He said.

"You came because of the royal crystalling. And I think I have a temporary solution to your problem." Gohan said.

Gohan reached into his senzu bean pouch.

He tossed a bean over to him.

"Eat it. You won't be hungry after that." Gohan said.

"B-But changelings eat love..." He said.

The changeling gulped before he ate the bean.

Suddenly, he wasn't hungry anymore.

"W-Wha? I... I'm not hungry?" He asked.

"Senzu beans are a miracle, restoring your stamina and healing you." Gohan said.

"I... I didn't expect you of all kind to help me." The changeling said.

"I don't needlessly kill. I don't want to fight and be a hero at all, actually. But, sometimes, victory is the only option to save your friends." Gohan said.

"Thank you so much... If I made a friend, the love would probably sustain me so I could live, but... Because I'm a changeling, nobody wants to be my friend." He said.

"I'll be your friend." Gohan said.

"Y-You would!? Y-You're not going to accuse me of trying to attack or anything?" He asked.

"I would be able to tell. There are no other changelings close by." Gohan said. "And I would be able to feel the lie in your energy." He added.

"Let's start out with introductions. My name is-" "Son Gohan, yes. Queen Chrysalis informed all of us about you... And I watched you fight Tirek." The changeling interrupted.

"Oh. She's still alive, huh. And what's your name?" Gohan asked.

"I'm Thorax! I can't believe you want to be my friend!" Thorax said.

"Well, I don't judge a book by it's cover. Once I know all about it, I can actually make a decision about it. We'll be best friends!" Gohan said.

Thorax hissed accidentally.

"Oh, oh gosh, I'm sorry! That just happens whenever I feel love..." He said. "Do you still want to be my friend?" He asked.

"Of course. It's not like you would hurt me. Or could, actually. I'd rather defend you." Gohan said.

"You would?" Thorax asked.

"I'm sure I can get the Crystal Empire to be friends with you too. I have a bit of a connection with the princess." Gohan said.

"Really!?" Thorax asked, suddenly hissing like crazy.

He shut his mouth.

"I could. In fact, let's go there now!" Gohan said.

"Y-You're going to take me in the Crystal Empire?" Thorax asked.

Gohan put two fingers to his head, and held his hand out. "Grab on. I'll teleport us there." He said.

"S-Shouldn't you just... Take me after you tell them about me?" Thorax asked.

"Why?" Gohan asked.

"They'll attack me!" Thorax said.

"Don't worry, as long as you're behind me, they won't get through." Gohan said.

"Are you sure? Princess Cadence is an alicorn!" Thorax said.

"There's another one there too, but they don't stand a chance against me. Don't worry." Gohan said.

The two popped in the throne room, where the baby was, and etc.

Plus the guards.

"Hello Gohan, y- You brought back the changeling as prisoner?" Twilight asked.

Gohan shook his head. "This changeling is not an enemy. He's nice." He said.

"H-Hi, everyone." Thorax said, gulping.

"Seize him!" Shining Armor commanded.

"No, stay back! He's nice, I tell you!" Gohan said, standing in front of Thorax.

"How could a changeling be nice?" Spike asked.

"There are none." Cadence and Shining Armor said.

"That's a lie." Gohan said.

"Gohan's right, he doesn't have any bad energy in him." Goten said, walking up to the two.

"Except genetic impulses." Gohan said.

"He's tricking you! Get him!" Shining Armor commanded.

All the guards charged at Thorax, but Gohan grabbed him and jumped up.

Goten jumped up too.

All the guards crashed into each other as a result.

"Listen to me! He's a nice changeling, and doesn't want to hurt anyone!" Gohan said.

Thorax got out of Gohan's grasp.

"I can fly." He said.

"Sorry." Gohan said.

"There is no such thing. The changeling, Queen Chrysalis kidnapped Cadence and cast a spell on me." Shining Armor said.

"Yeah. My race used to conquer planets and kill people for fun, and you don't see me or Goten doing that." Gohan said.

"He's right. Vegeta told me ALL about it in a rant against our dad." Goten said.

"Who's this 'Vegeta?'" Cadence asked.

"The Prince of the Saiyans. Or, really, the former." Gohan said.

"You know, I actually kind of get it." Spike said.

"Not you too!" Twilight said.

"We lost two of our best fighters to the changelings!?" Shining Armor asked.

"What don't you get about nice changelings? It's possible for there to be an odd one out of an entire race!" Gohan said.

"I don't want to hurt any of you! The other changelings hate everything, but I want to love everything! I'm not evil!" Thorax said.

"Get him!" Shining Armor said, ignoring everything.

Gohan grabbed Thorax and teleported them away.

"Great, NOW they're gone!" Shining Armor said.

"They could be anywhere!" Twilight said.

"Goten, can you sense your brother's energy?" Starlight asked.

"I could, but it just died down all of a sudden. I can't find it anymore." Goten said.

"Great, just great! Search the Empire, we don't have time to lose!" Shining Armor commanded.

The two were back in the ice cavern.

Thorax sighed.

"I knew it. None of them wanted to be my friend." Thorax said.

"Hey... Don't beat yourself up. I know it's hard to loved when people refuse to see anything but your faults." Gohan said.

"How would you know...?" Thorax asked.

'I might as well tell him since he's my friend now.' Gohan thought.

"I'm in Equestria because of that." Gohan said.

"What do you mean?" Thorax asked.

Gohan sighed. "Where I come from, I did something terrible. I'm not gonna tell you yet, but it was grave. Everyone looked at me, refusing to look at my good side, and instantly thought I deserved to die." He said.

Thorax was shocked to hear that.

"O-Oh... Jeez... I'm sorry to hear that..." Thorax said.

"Don't be. We all made up." Gohan said.

"Really?" Thorax said.

"Yeah. I'm glad I'm in Equestria and made friends, and I'm sure you will make more." Gohan said.

"How?" Thorax asked.

"My brother wanted to be your friend." Gohan said.

"That was your brother?" Thorax asked.

"The weird hair runs in the family, okay?" Gohan asked.

"Okay..." Thorax said.

"Look, we'll convince them somehow. I don't know how, but we will." Gohan said.

"And you'll need our help!" A voice came from behind.

Gohan turned around while Thorax looked up.

Goten and Spike!

"Goten? Spike?" Gohan asked.

Goten came flying down, taking Spike.

"We trust you to be our friend!" Spike said.

Thorax suddenly hissed by accident, scaring Spike.

"Sorry, I don't mean to..." He said.

"Its genetic for the changelings." Gohan said.

"Oh, okay." Spike said.

"So... Three friends are backing you up. Any of us have suggestions?" Gohan asked.

"We could try again." Goten said.

"Yeah, but Twilight and Shining Armor will just shut down the argument again." Spike said. "Trust me, I know." He said.

"We need to get them to understand how he can be like any other pony..." Goten said.

"...Maybe... We could have him change into a regular pony!" Spike said.

"What'll that do?" Thorax asked.

"Ah, I see. Get him to spend some time with them, and reveal that he was a changeling the whole time!" Gohan said.

"Exactly!" Spike said.

"So... How do we do this?" Thorax asked.

"We'll need to come up with a plan." Gohan said.

"I love those!" Spike said.

Spike, Gohan, Goten, and another pony entered the castle.

"Spike! Gohan? Where's that changeling?" Twilight asked from the other side of the hall.

"Oh. Him? Turns out you guys really made him sad and he made me kill him. Seriously, that was brutal." Gohan said.

"Yeah, I was able to see it happen. Changeling blood is just oozy..." Spike said.

"Really? The changeling's dead!?" Twilight said cheerfully.

The pony was just staring at Twilight.

"A-And who is this fine gentleman?" Twilight asked.

"He's my friend! Crystal Hoof. We've been pen pals since the Friendship Games." Spike said.

"I'm not happy about killing him, Twilight." Gohan said.

Crystal Hoof held up a hoof.

"Nice to meet you." He said.

"Oh." Twilight said, hoof bumping. "Well, it's nice to meet you too! How do you know about Spike?" She added.

"Friendship Games." Crystal Hoof said.

"And you said you were a pen pal!?" Twilight asked.

"Uh huh." Crystal Hoof said, nodding.

"Spike! You never told me you had a pen pal! You could've been using my pen pal quill set!" Twilight said, fluttering her wings in excitement. "Why didn't you tell me?" She added.

"Well, I only write to him whenever you and Starlight are studying." Spike said.

"I-I like to brag to my friends about my letters from Spike the Brave and Glorious!" Crystal Hoof said.

"Well, I'm sure Starlight and I can manage. Well, you can go spend time with your friend." Twilight said.

"Yeah, uh... He promised me to take me around the city." Spike said.

"Have fun! Oh, and Gohan, tell Shining Armor what you did." Twilight said.

"Will do." Gohan said.

Spike and Crystal Hoof spent the day around town.

You know, talking to ponies, being friends, having fun, giving autographed photos of Spike, being funny, etc.

Crystal Hoof was happy with Friendship...

Did I say Crystal Hoof? It's really Thorax.

Like you didn't know, hah!

Anyway, now Gohan, Spike and Crystal Hoof are going to see the baby again.

They traversed the halls.

"This place is everything I ever dreamed of!" Crystal Hoof said.

"And you get some quality time with the important ponies." Gohan said.

"Spike!" Cadence called.

The three rushed into the throne room.

"Twilight told me you had a friend." Cadence said, scaring Gohan and Spike.

She walked up to Crystal Hoof.

"And any friend of Spike the Brave and Glorious is a friend of ours!" Cadence said.

"Who wants to play a board game!?" Twilight asked, pulling out a clone of Monopoly.

"I do!" Crystal Hoof said.

"I would, but where did Goten head off to?" Gohan asked.

"I think he went out to look at the Crystal Heart." Shining Armor said.

"That... That doesn't sound like something he'd do... Eh. I'll be back soon!" Gohan said, running to the Crystal Heart.

Goten was watching the Crystal Heart constantly spin and speed up and slow down.

"Goten, what are you doing?" Gohan asked.

"I like looking at the Crystal Heart!" Goten said.

Gohan chuckled.

Now the two of them were staring at it.

"I see what you mean, Goten." Gohan said.

"Yep!" Goten said.

After some equally stupid knock off board games, Gohan and Goten finally came back.

"What took you two so long?" Twilight asked.

"Staring at the Crystal Heart was a lot more interesting than I thought." Gohan said.

"Did Crystal Hoof see Flurry Heart yet?" Goten asked.

"Oh! That reminds me... Sunburst, could you bring Flurry over here?" Cadence asked.

Sunburst did, and now he was seeing Flurry Heart.

Gohan and Goten ran up to the baby too.

Flurry reached out to Crystal Hoof in smiles.

"She's so beautiful! There's so much love..." Crystal Hoof said before starting to lose it.

"Around her that I... I..." Crystal Hoof said before his genetic impulses took over and he turned backed into a changeling.

He hissed by accident.

Everyone else gasped!

"Crapbaskets." Gohan said.

"I-I'm sssssso sssssorrry!" Thorax hissed.

Gohan, Goten and Spike were quick to come to his side, while everyone else had a mean face towards him and was ready to kick ass.

"Gohan, I thought you said you killed him!" Twilight yelled.

"He lied, he must be under Chrysalis' control!" Shining Armor said.

"Okay, now you're just in denial." Gohan said.

"Spike, get away from that thing!" Twilight said.

"Wait! No! You don't understand!" Spike said as Twilight grabbed him with her magic. "This was all part of the plan!" He said.

"Plan? What plan?" Cadence asked.

Gohan sighed. "You see, we wanted to prove to you that there IS a good changeling." He said.

"But there is none!" Shining Armor yelled.

"There's one right here!" Gohan yelled.

"Where's Chrysalis!?" Shining Armor demanded.

Spike ran back to the Saiyans.

"Spik-" "-No!" Spike interrupted Twilight.

"I dunno who this Chrysalis is, but she sounds evil." Goten said.

"That's because she is, Goten." Gohan said.

"Enough stalling!" Cadence yelled.

"If anything, you're the one who's stalling! We just want you to accept Thorax as a friend!" Gohan said.

"So he could steal Flurry Heart from us!?" Shining Armor asked.

"Stop jumping to conclusions like that! You all are just refusing to see anything but his faults now that he's revealed himself!" Gohan said.

You had to admit, that's true.

"H-He... I... Dang it, that's good." Twilight said.

"This is why we're on Thorax's side. He has his problems, but who doesn't? He's shown to be nice, harmless and apologetic!" Spike said.

"And he did refuse to attack Flurry Heart." Goten said.

"So, what's your defense? What are you going to say that debunks all of this?" Gohan asked.

...

Silence...

Then Twilight walked up to Spike.

"You're right." She said, sorrow in her voice.

"Huh?" Everyone behind her said.

"We just assumed this changeling was evil... We refused to accept him because of something he didn't really do." She added.

Starlight understood.

She walked beside Twilight. "Gohan, Spike and Goten could see that he was different. That he was the odd one out of all the changelings." She said.

Everyone else started to understand.

"I'm proud of you, Spike. You risked your popularity and friendship with us to do this." Twilight said, hugging Spike.

Gohan smiled.

"Does that mean Thorax is your friend too?" Goten asked.

"Yes, it does! If Thorax is any one of your friends, then he's mine too!" Twilight said, gesturing for a hoof bump.

Thorax shook her hoof instead. "Thank you!" He said with tears.

"On behalf of the Crystal Empire,-" Cadence said. "I would like to extend my hoof in friendship, and I'm sure all of my subjects are eager to do the same." She said.

Everyone cheered....

Cadence trusted Thorax enough to put Flurry in front of him.

Thorax hesitated before smiling, and Flurry clearly liked him too.

"Welcome to the Crystal Empire, Thorax. I'm sorry we didn't take the time to get to know you, even when Gohan presented you to us. Maybe we can change that now?" Shining Armor asked.

"In your true form!" Gohan said with a wink.

"That's so amazing! I want to learn all about friendship, and maybe one day I can take that knowledge back to the changeling kingdom! If my kind learned how to create love for one another, maybe they wouldn't have to take it from others!" Thorax said.

"To Spike the Brave and Glorious and his weaker friend Gohan!" A guard yelled.

"...What was that?" Spike asked.

"What? You ARE stronger than me." Gohan said with a wink.

Everyone started cheering.

'How do these guards not see through his lie?' Spike thought.

Gohan and Goten were heading home from the soccer field.

They had a wicked training session, and the girls all got weights.

Everyone sparred, and Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, surprisingly, said they want to make a habit of it.

So Gohan left the senzu beans he had with the Humane 7.

Well, the two were now at the portal.

"Gohan!" Sunset called from behind.

Gohan and Goten turned around.

She was running at them.

"Hi Sunset. What's wrong?" Gohan asked.

She stood in front of them now.

"I have something to ask you. In private." Sunset said.

"Okay. Goten, do you mind going ahead?" Gohan asked.

"No. I'll just eat dinner before you get home." Goten said.

"Dang it." Gohan said.

Goten went through the portal.

"So, what's up?" Gohan asked.

"I was wondering if... Well... Um..." Sunset said.

"Take all the time you need." Gohan said.

"Well, I wanted to if... You... Would like to... Um..." Sunset kept stuttering.

Gohan didn't move a muscle.

Sunset sighed.

"Do you want to go out with me on prom night?" She asked.

"Prom night? What's that?" Gohan asked.

"Y-You don't know what prom is?" Sunset asked.

Gohan shook his head.

Sunset fell over on her back.

She just asked him out...

But he didn't know what prom was.

'Damn it, Gohan!' She thought.

She got herself up again.

"Prom is a dance held at the end of the year. It's like the Fall Formal." Sunset said.

"And you're inviting me?" Gohan asked.

"Well, kind of. I was wondering if... You wanted to go out with me." Sunset said.

"Go... Out?" Gohan asked, genuinely confused.

"You don't know what I mean, do you." Sunset asked.

"Nope. Sorry." Gohan said.

"Rarity was right, you are romantically inept..." Sunset muttered.

"What was that?" Gohan asked.

"Nothing, nothing. I was wondering if you would take me out on a date to prom." Sunset said.

"When is it?" Gohan asked.

"A few weeks." Sunset said.

"Then I'll accept, I guess." Gohan said.

"You would?" Sunset asked in surprise.

"Sure, but I-" "Thankyouthankyou, Thank you!" Sunset interrupted, giving Gohan a BIIIIG hug.

"Uh... Y-Yeah... You're welcome... Uh... Can I ask why you asked me?" Gohan asked.

Sunset broke the hug.

"O-Oh... Uh... Well, everyone else in group happened to find a date. Even Twilight. I wasn't able to... So I asked you." Sunset said.

"So... I'm like a last resort." Gohan said.

"N-No! I like you enough to go out with you..." Sunset said.

Gohan still hasn't interpreted it as a romantic connection.

He gets that shit from Goku.

At least he didn't think marriage is a food.

"Okay." Gohan said. "See you." He added, walking into the portal.

Rarity came walking up to Sunset.

"So... How did it go?" She asked eagerly.

"To be honest, I don't think he realizes I like him." Sunset said.
