Five of the Mane 6 excluding Twilight, Goten and Gohan were in the throne room.

"Well, I think we should leave ASAP. I don't wanna miss the crystalling!" Rainbow Dash said.

Then Starlight came into the room.

"But, um, should we wait for an invitation?" Fluttershy asked.

"Frankly, I'm not exactly clear on the customs and traditions of the Crystal Empire. Especially when it comes to a crystalling." Applejack said.

"What's a crystalling?" Both Goten and Starlight asked.

"W-Well, that's just it, darling. Princess Cadence and Shining Armor's baby is due any day and we're still not sure. The Crystal Empire has been gone for a thousand years, and a lot of their customs are a bit murky." Rarity said.

"We know it's got something to do with the new baby." Applejack said.

"And a party!" Pinkie Pie chimed in.

"And the Crystal Heart." Fluttershy said.

"And a party!" Pinkie Pie said, jumping in front of Fluttershy.

"And some kind of cool energy. Well, y'know, other than Gohan's." Rainbow Dash said.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaand...." Pinkie Pie said, standing on her hind legs on the table. "A PARTY!" She said, letting confetti fly everywhere.

"Who's Princess Cadence and Shining Armor?" Goten asked.

"Princess Cadence is another princess in Equestria. She's the Princess of Love. Shining Armor is her husband Twilight's brother." Gohan said.

"Cool!" Goten said.

"But why are we so worried again? You guys do know we can technically go from here to the Crystal Empire in an instant." Gohan said.

"How does that work?" Starlight asked.

"Let me show you." Gohan said, standing up and placing a hand on Starlight's neck. He put his fingers to his forehead.

They instantly vanished.

They were in the Dragon Lands in an instant.

"W-Wha...!?" Starlight asked.

Then a dragon noticed the two and breathed fire towards them.

Starlight screamed and took cover.

Gohan just held his hand out and blocked it with his ki.

"Calm down, nothing will harm you." Gohan said.

Starlight stopped the screaming as she saw Gohan just casually stop fire with his hand.

"I'll take you back now." Gohan said as the fire died down.

He and Starlight vanished again.

"Why does he just warp in and out of reality like that...?" Applejack asked.

"That sounds like something Pinkie would do, and it's hard to understand, just like whatever the crystalling is." Rainbow Dash said.

The two instantly appeared again.

"W-What just happened?" Starlight asked.

"We just went to the Dragon Lands." Gohan said.

"But that's on the other side of Equestria!" Starlight said.

"And I can move faster than light without Instant Transmission." Gohan said.

"I- How...?" Starlight said.

"Simple. I have a lot of ki, train at over a thousand times normal gravity and still manage move around without literally crapping out my spine and I can go Super Saiyan." Gohan said.

"I don't understand how any of that works." Starlight said.

"It's not that hard to understand." Spike said, coming into the room with a paper.

"You mean you guys understand his powers?" Starlight asked.

"Oh heavens no. I'm talking about the Crystal Empire's customs. Most of them aren't hard to understand. Like how I'm a big hero there, for example." Spike said, unveiling the picture of him.

He even smirked.

Rainbow Dash smirked back, Starlight, Pinkie and Applejack were unamused, Rarity was trying not to laugh, Fluttershy tried seeming nice about it, Goten was actually wanting to know how he was a hero and Gohan couldn't help but smile.

Spike rolled up the paper in embarrassment. "...Plus I've had to do a ton of research with Twilight on crystallings." He said.

Spike pulled out a vase with art on it.

"Whenever a baby is born in the Crystal Empire, the parents bring it before the Crystal Heart. They get the purest shard of crystal they can find, and a crystaller to present the baby to everypony who comes! Then they all share the light and joy they feel, feeding it so that it joins with the Crystal Heart, and increases it's power. And this is going to be a royal crystalling, so pretty much everyone in the Crystal Empire is coming. And that hasn't happened in a millennia!" Spike said, putting the case away.

"What do you mean increases the Crystal Heart's power?" Starlight asked.

"I'm not very sure... I guess to give it magic to protect the Crystal Empire, I guess." Spike said.

"Protect the Crystal Empire?" Starlight asked.

"Let me explain. The Crystal Heart is powered by the denizens of the Crystal Empire through love and joy. The more love and joy there is, the more power it gains to protect the Crystal Empire from all kinds of evil and natrural occurances. It keeps the Frozen North from invading and covering it in snow. It also protected it from King Sombra after he tried reclaiming the Crystal Heart. It's pretty powerful. It's like me giving Goten a chunk of my power. The more ki he can store, the more powerful he gets." Gohan said.

"Wow! The Crystal Empire sounds like fun!" Goten said.

"Well, I guess you'll be a goduncle or something like that." Gohan said.

The nine were on a train to the Crystal Empire.

Fluttershy and Rarity sat together, Gohan and Goten sat together, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie and Applejack had their own seats, and Twilight and Starlight sat together.

Starlight was dreading going to the Crystal Empire.

Her first friendship lesson was reuniting with an old friend.

And considering her... past 'blunders,' he might not want to talk to her again.

His name was Sunburst.

"Was there any reason not to let me use Instant Transmission to get us there in an instant?" Gohan asked.

"Yeah, Twilight,-" Rainbow Dash said before yawning. "this is a lot more boring than exciting!" She said.

"I'd like to build up anticipation about this! I'm an aunt!" Twilight said.

"And I'm a godfather. Seriously, this is just as-" Gohan said before Twilight stared at him with a mean face. "-Almost as,-" Then she smiled again. "-excited for this." He finished.

"Well, shoot, we're all pretty excited 'bout this!" Applejack said.

She had something covered in a tarp and uncovered it to reveal a tiny crib for the new baby.

"Made from genuine Sweet Apple Acres apple trees. We make 'em for all the Apples, and anypony related to Twilight is practically family." Applejack said.

Twilight smiled at her.

"Well, it's okay... But it's no Cloudsdale mobile! Bam!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, pulling out a Cloudsdale mobile.

"OOH! Pretty!" Pinkie Pie said, touching it and making one of the strings fall off.

"Well, a mobile is nice... As long as you have something to lay in to look at it." Applejack said.

"And a fetching blanket to keep you warm." Rarity said, replacing the apple blanket with her own.

"I'm sure Shining Armor Princess Cadence will love all our gifts. But I think they're more happy that we're attending the baby's crystalling." Twilight said.

"OOH! OOH! I can't wait to see all the light and love that make the Crystal Heart sparkly and shiny!" Pinkie yelled while hopping.

"Actually, Pinkie, the Crystal Heart is an ancient relic. Without it's magic, the Crystal Empire would be lost to the Frozen North." Twilight said.

"Wow, this Crystalling sounds pretty important. I'd understand if you wanted to... you know... wait to do a different friendship lesson when we get back." Starlight said.

"Are you kidding? This trip is perfect! Not only do I get to see the baby and take part in the ceremony that helps maintain the magic of the Crystal Empire, but I'm starting my new pupil off with the most amazing friendship lesson ever! I can't wait!" Twilight said, hugging Starlight very closely.

Starlight pushed her away slowly. "Right... Me neither." She lied.

Spike gestured for her to tell Twilight the truth.

"Actually, Twilight, I am a little worried about meeting Sunburst." Starlight said.

"Oh trust me, I know what it's like to see old friends. But I'll be right there to help things along." Twilight said.

She pulled out a long scroll.

"I've broken down the process to a few easy steps to ensure this reunion goes off without a hitch!" She said.

The scroll was like half the length of the damn train.

Starlight chuckled nervously.

"Uh... Twilight? I think your 'few easy steps' are just overboard by... Oh, not a lot just a ton." Gohan said.

"Yeah that seems more like a lot more than a few!" Goten said.

Eventually the group got to the train station, where Shining Armor was waiting.

The door opened.

Pinkie hopped out, Rainbow Dash flew out, everyone just stepped out.

"Step 1, get to Starburst's house and get you two started on the right hoof. Step 2, get to the castle with enough time to visit the ba-" Twilight said before she bumped into a really, really screwed up Shining Armor.

"Shining Armor!" She said.

"Twi-light!" He managed to say, and the two hugged.

"I didn't know you were meeting us!" Twilight said.

"Of course I am! It's me! Here I am, why wouldn't I meet my sister! Don't we have met before...?" Shining Armor said.

"You alright?" Twilight asked.

"Never better! Being a father is amazing and wonderful and amazing and confusing and amazing! But, surprising too! Not that you'd know, you wouldn't know, I know, you know?" Shining Armor said.

Everyone just looked at him funny.

"Uh... Shining Armor?" Gohan asked as he stepped out. "You're probably gonna need this. You look terrible." He said, tossing a senzu bean at Shining Armor.

"Thanks... I'm actually full of energy now!" Shining Armor said.

"Good. The baby must be really running you ragged." Gohan said.

Goten stepped out of the train.

"Yeah, I'm a little...... Uh... D-Did you have a baby too?" Shining Armor asked.

"No, he's my brother." Gohan said.

"B-Brother!?" Shining Armor asked.

"It came as a surprise to us too." Twilight said.

"Hello sir. My name's Goten." Goten said.

"Hello Goten. I'm Shining Armor. This is a big surprise... I'm sure Cadence will be surprised to see you." Shining Armor said.

"But anyway, I need a break, and so does Cadence." Shining Armor said.

"Oh, of course! I don't know what I was thinking... You two need all kinds of help. Sorry Starlight, maybe combining your first lesson with this visit wasn't such a good idea." Twilight said.

"Oh! Uh... Don't be ridiculous! You're an aunt now! That's more important than some friendship lesson..." Starlight said.

"I just wish there was a way to do both..." Twilight said.

"Hm... Maybe there is." Spike said. "You've already done the work for Starlight's lesson with this list. All we have to do is follow it!" He said.

Starlight facehoofed.

"Spike, you're a genius!" Twilight said.

"Yeah!... Genius." Starlight said.

"Then it's settled! Shining Armor and I will be headed towards the the castle, and you and Spike can go to Sunburst's." Twilight said.

"Aye aye, princess!" Spike said, saluting and walking away.

"U-uh-huh!" Starlight said so nervously.

"Why are you so scared?" Gohan asked.

"Huh?" Starlight asked.

"I can genuinely feel fear from you. What's going on?" He asked.

"Oh, it's nothing. Just a bit nervous about my first friendship lesson!" Starlight said.

"Seriously, I can tell a lie just by your ki. Should I come with you or something?" Gohan asked.

"That can work." Starlight said.

"Okay, then you three, head to Sunburst's!" Twilight said.

"Alright. Take care of Goten for me, alright?" Gohan asked.

"Not another baby!" Shining Armor said.

"I'm 6 and I can take care of myself!" Goten said, 'like a man!'

"Don't worry, we'll take very good care of Goten." Fluttershy said, petting Goten.

The three were walking around the Crystal Empire.

"So, set me up to speed. Why exactly are you so worried that you're lying?" Gohan asked.

"Sunburst is an old friend of mine. In short, I don't think he'd accept me and my friendship after all I've done." Starlight said.

"Oh, I see. I understand completely." Gohan said.

"How would you know?" Starlight asked.

Gohan sighed. "I made a mistake too. It wasn't evil or anything, I just let it happen. Anyway, my entire family just disowned me and denounced me. Almost every friend of mine turned on me and tried murdering me. And that's why I'm here." He said.

"W-What!?" Starlight asked.

"You'll be fine. I don't come from a world where friendship is magic. I come from a world full of cyborgs and bio-cyborgs and aliens and a dog as president." Gohan said.

"Wait, was that last one a joke?" Spike asked.

"No, I'm actually serious." Gohan said.

Starlight still wasn't ready, so she tried buying time.

"What did you do that was so wrong?" She asked.

"Well, I technically caused my father's second death." Gohan said.

"Y-You...Huh?" Starlight asked. "Could you give me a little bit more detail?" She asked.

"I was battling a new enemy too strong for any of us. Us being me, my dad and some others. But then a new power awakened in me. I surpassed the enemy. I was really stupid, and I toyed with him. He thought to self destruct, destroying the planet when he blew up. If I blasted him or anything, bye bye home. So my dad sacrificed himself, taking him to another planet with him, dying a warrior's death. He forgave me, but not everyone else agreed." Gohan said.

"W-When were you going to tell me about this...?" Starlight asked.

"When you asked. If you wanted to know why I'm here now, I used magical wish granting balls to escape." Gohan said.

"Well... I'm surprised." Starlight said.

"Why do you think I forgave you instantly?" Gohan asked.

"Huh?" Starlight asked.

"My father forgave me. Everyone here forgave me. Some of my worst enemies who literally tried to kill me was forgiven by my father. He became my ally and helped protect me from my friends and family turned enemies. I try following his ways by even wearing his gi." Gohan said, patting his gi.

"Wow... That's... Pretty honorable." Starlight said.

"I just want to be like my dad and get stronger, but I also want to follow my dream of being a scholar." Gohan said.

"That's just confusing." Starlight said.

"Yeah, he's a real brainiac. Just like Twilight." Spike said.

Starlight still wanted to buy time.

She noticed the statue of Spike...

"Oh, wait! Is that you, Spike?" Starlight asked, pointing at the statue.

"Huh? Yep, it sure is! Now, according to the list, Sunburst's location is-" "Why is it in the Crystal Empire?" Starlight interrupted.

Then another pony of the Crystal Empire came up to her.

"Because Spike the brave and glorious saved all of us from King Sombra!" She said.

And another mare ran up to her. "And again during the Equestria Games!" She said.

"Really?" Starlight asked.

"Really." A stallion said. "Big fan." He said to Spike, shaking his hands with his hoof.

"Um, when were you going to tell me about this?" Starlight asked.

"Uh... It's no big deal." Spike said.

"IT MOST CERTAINLY IS!" Many Crystal Ponies said.

"That's it! We're not going anywhere until I get the whole story!" Starlight said, pulling up a chair for Spike and some popcorn.

Crystal Ponies began gathering around him.

"Okay, nice try, Starlight, but-" Gohan said, putting his hand on Starlight and Spike.

They instantly vanished, shocking the ponies around.

They instantly appeared in front of Sunburst's house.

"W-What just happened?" Starlight asked.

"Oh, I just teleported us to Sunburst's. Now go to that door and talk to him again. If he doesn't give you approval, I'll chime in, okay?" Gohan asked.

"B-But..." Starlight said.

"You need to do this now." Gohan said.

Starlight gulped.

"If not, I'll destroy the sun." Gohan lied.

He ain't gon destroy that there sun.

"W-What!?" Starlight asked.

"I can destroy solar systems at this point. Let's hurry along now." Gohan said.

Starlight slowly walked up to Sunburst's door and slowly knocked on it.

After some painful waiting, the door creaked open.

"Sunburst?" Starlight asked.

"Yes?" Sunburst asked from inside. "What can I do for you?" He asked.

"It... It's me, Starlight. We used to be friends." Starlight said.

"Uh... Hm... Oh, uh, yes! Uh? Starlight! Yes, oh, uh, it's been such a long time! What uh, what have you been up to?" Sunburst asked.

"Oh, me? I uh, y'know, some of this... Some of that different stuff... Um, right now, I'm sort of Twilight Sparkle's new pupil." Starlight said.

"The Princess of Friendship!?" Sunburst asked.

Starlight chuckled nervously. "Yeah! That's actually kind of why I'm here. I mean, I know you're probably very busy..." She said.

"What do you mean?" Sunburst asked.

"Well, I figured after magic school you'd go on to do important wizard work and..." Starlight said.

"Well, no. I mean yes! Yes, that's me! I mean, yep! Important wizard! Really busy with lots of uh, wizard of stuff!" Sunburst said nervously.

It was awkward.

"Right! Well, good to see you." He said, closing the door.

"Ugh... Gohan, I'll take it from here." Spike said.

"You sure she doesn't need me to make sure she won't die from the moon crashing into her?" Gohan joked.

"The Moon can crash into me!?" Starlight asked.

"I mean, I can try." Gohan said.

"DON'T TRY!" The two yelled.

"Okay, okay. Are you sure you can get Starlight to actually get that guy to cough up the truth?" Gohan asked.

"Truth?" Spike asked.

"What, you couldn't notice his weird nervousness and him denying that he was a wizard?" Gohan asked.

The two shook their heads.

"But this list here'll do it!" Spike said.

"Okay, then I'm off to see my goddaughter." Gohan said, teleporting away.

The ponies inside the castle to meet the pony baby.

"Before we go in, I should probably tell you seeing the baby might be a bit of a shock." Shining Armor said.

Then Gohan appeared out of nowhere.

"Hey! Did you guys see the baby yet?" He asked.

"Uh, not yet. We're about to." Twilight said.

Goten tackle hugged Gohan.

"Hey sport!" Gohan said. "Even though it's only been about ten minutes." He said.

"I still missed you!" Goten said.

"But Gohan, the baby might be a surprise to you." Shining Armor said.

"Why?" Gohan asked.

"It shouldn't be a surprise," Twilight said, opening the doors. "I've met babies before! I expect meeting this one won't be any different!" She said.

Cadence was in the room along with Celestia and Luna.

"Twilight! It's good to... Who's that?" Cadence asked drowsily.

"Hey Cadence. This is my brother Goten. This is the Princess of Love, Cadence." Gohan said.

"Nice to meet you, princess." Goten said.

"It's a pleasure to you too." Cadence said.

"I heard you were tired." Gohan said, tossing a senzu bean over to her.

"Oh... Thank you... and Now I feel incredible!" Cadence said.

"Those beans are surely a miracle." Celestia said.

The baby was in it's cradle.

Everyone looked inside the cradle at the cute little unicorn baby!

That is until it showed off it's wings, it's an alicorn.

Everyone but the Saiyans were shocked.

The baby made her baby noises.

"Of course I could be wrong." Twilight said.

"About what? It's such a cute little alicorn baby!" Gohan said.

The baby sucked on her hoof.

"But I thought alicorn wings had to be earned through some kind of worthy deed!" Rarity said.

"Wait, really? Since that's not the case, don't you think the odds of it actually happening were just so slim until now?" Gohan asked.

"The birth of an alicorn is something Equestria has never seen!" Celestia said.

"It is beyond even our understanding." Luna said.

"That's not very reassuring..." Fluttershy said.

"That doesn't matter, it's still a really cute and powerful baby!" Gohan said, reaching into the cradle and holding the baby.

The baby was laughing and giggling.

"Aw... She's so cute. Hey! It's me! Your Godfather Gohan!" Gohan said, making a funny face.

The baby laughed more.

Everyone thought it was cute...

Until the baby sneezed.

She unleashed a fucking Broly blast on Gohan's face.

His face was completely black as a result.

"I was right about powerful, too. I actually felt that." Gohan said.

The baby yawned and sucked her hoof again.

She hurt herself doing that, so Gohan used his finger to pacify her.

"This is adorable." Gohan said.

"It appears her magic is more power than that of a newborn unicorn." Celestia said.

"Yep. It's because she's an alicorn." Gohan said, wiping his face clean. "And she's a hybrid like me and Goten, and hybrids have huge potential." He added.

"Crowds have already started to gather." Luna said.

Pinkie Pie blew a balloon up and floated on the air. "This crystalling is gonna be some party!" She said, and the balloon popped.

"Do you think we should call it off?" Cadence asked.

"Um, we've all faced a lot worse than baby magic." Rainbow Dash said.

"I can imagine cancelling such a beautiful and important ceremony over something so potentially adorable!" Rarity said.

"Yep!" Everyone else agreed.

"In light of the little one's abilities, this crystalling might be more important than ever." Celestia said. "Perhaps you should address your subjects about that." She added.

Cadence nodded, and kissed the little baby on the forehead before trotting away.

The baby stopped sucking and reached for it's mother in vain.

The princesses were away now.

Gohan put the baby back in it's crib.

Now she reached for Gohan in vain.

Then Pinkie Pie started playing with her.

"Big brother, do you have everything you need for the ceremony?" Twilight asked.

"Huh...? Oh no! I still have to interview the honor guards, choose the purity crystal and pick a crystaller!" Shining Armor said, stressing out.

"Okay, take it easy, Pinkie, Gohan and I can stay here and keep an eye on the baby!" Twilight said.

The baby was climbing Pinkie's face and having fun.

"And we'll all help you with everythin' else." Applejack said.

The others nodded.

"Alright... Thanks." Shining Armor said.

He was not ready in time, that piz- I mean, nothing.

"Dearest citizens, I am sure you are all just as thrilled and ready for this crystalling as myself and Shining Armor." Cadence said tiredly but loudly.

The ponies cheered.

Shining Armor was stressing out. "I'm not ready!" He said.

"Take it easy!" Rainbow Dash said, pulling out two helmets. "Just pick whoever looks the most like honor guard material." She said.

"Right!... Right." Shining Armor said, using his magic to grab the helmets.

He put them on two guards backwards.

Yeah, that went well.

"I'm sorry guys, fatherhood is way more stressful than I thought." He said.

"I can only imagine." Fluttershy said sympathetically.

"Now, I know choosing the Crystal of Purity is a very, very important decision. So, I have gone trough the trouble of arranging them in order from incredibly pure to outrageously pure!" Rarity said, pulling out a chest of five crystals.

"Um, Rarity? Don't they all kind of look the same?" Fluttershy asked.

"Oh, well, to the untrained eye, perhaps. What do you think, Shining Armor?" Rarity asked.

Shining Armor was stressing looking at all of them.

"I-I DON'T KNOW!" He shouted, cowering behind his hooves.

"I hope Gohan, Twilight and Pinkie are having better luck with the baby!" Rarity whispered to Fluttershy.

Speaking of which, the baby was...

I guess fine.

She was trying to fly, but Gohan held her so she wouldn't go far.

And she was firing magic so he had Goten fire ki at all of the magic.

She was having fun, at least.

"This is good target training." Gohan said.

"I know!" Goten said, blasting another blast.

"But this baby is really out of control." Gohan said.

"No kidding!" Twilight said, hiding behind a fort of books.

"Wait, we need to get her to the crystalling." Gohan said.

Shining Armor was taking deep breaths as Rarity brushed his mane.

They were beside the Crystal Heart.

The three princesses came too.

"Okay, I chose the honor guard, the purity crystal, and a crystaller. So all we need is... Hm..." Shining Armor said.

"The baby?" Cadence asked.

Shining Armor was stressed out 100%.

"We're here!" Gohan said.

He was still holding the baby up as it flew.

"She's a pretty strong flier." He said.

Cadence took the baby with her magic, separating the two.

And the baby did not want that.

Uh oh.

She looked as if she wanted to cry.

She DID cry.

Her cry was so loud... That the Crystal Heart shattered into a million pieces!

The baby let herself fall into Cadence's hoof, and calmed down.

"...I'm guessin' that's gonna make it harder to do the Crystalling..." Applejack said.

"It's worse than that, without the Heart, the Crystal Empire is about to be buried under a mountain of ice and snow!" Twilight said, opening a curtain.

Storms were coming in.

"Again!?" Gohan asked, powering up and creating a forcefield around the Crystal Empire.

"Wait, what?" Celestia asked.

"This is the second time. Is there some sort of spell to fix the Crystal Heart?" Gohan asked.

"Possibly. The library here is just as extensive as Canterlot's. There's a good chance we can find something there." Cadence said.

The baby was about to sneeze again.

"Good! I can hold this for much longer this time, tha- OW!" Gohan said before a powerful magic blast hit his lower back.

Something popped out of his back. Or right above his bum.

A tail.

"Jeez, I have to raise my power level for this...?" Gohan asked, referring to the barrier and the baby.

It was only covering half the city.

"How much of your- Oh my gosh!" Twilight said, pointing at Gohan's tail.

"How much of my what?" Gohan asked.

"...Do y'all realize you have a tail?" Applejack asked.

Gohan looked at his tail.

"Oh, it's back again." He said, wiggling it.

"Wait, so the alicorn baby did not materialize a tail for you?" Celestia asked.

"She might've. I mean, it grew back before, I don't see why it can't here." Gohan said.

"We're going to talk later, but how much of your power are you using?" Twilight asked.

"I'm using about... Let's say less than one percent of my full power in my current form." Gohan said.

"Just cover the entire Empire already!" Twilight said.

Gohan increased his power tenfold. The barrier covered the entire Crystal Empire.

"And you should've went to the library!" He said. "On second thought, I wanna come." He added.

"We need someone to watch the baby before she flies off!" Pinkie Pie said.

"I'll do it! But someone needs to stop the blasts!" Goten said.

"I'll handle that. Her magic isn't as strong as mine." Twilight said.

"Okay, let's get to the library! Seriously, I don't want to hold this for over 48 hours again." Gohan said.

And then baby decided to want to have fun and teleported herself right in Pinkie's face.

She screamed in response and ripped her off her face.

Shining Armor tried catching the baby before she hit the ground...

But she teleported away.

"W-Where did she go!?" Cadence asked.

The baby laughed.

"Oh, she's that way." Gohan and Goten said, pointing at the specific direction.

"Okay, we also need to hold the audience off for some time." Twilight said.

Gohan sighed in response.

"I'll do it. You get the baby. The changing of jobs is confusing." Goten said.

"No kidding." Everyone else said.

Goten was outside giving the audience a fireworks show with his ki, while everyone else went to the library.

Gohan was able to hold the baby with one arm.

"Man, I don't know what we would do without you at this point. Probably trying in vain to catch her!" Shining Armor said.

Pinkie was hopping high enough to be at face level with the baby.

"It's your Auntie Pinkie Pie!" She said.

And then the baby decided to blast her horn, putting a hole in the wall.

"Well, I guess I'll do this." Gohan said, performing the Multi-Form Technique.

He made one other clone.

"Wait... Gohan can clone himself?" Shining Armor asked.

"I can make copies of myself but my power is halved with every copy." Gohan said.

"You just keep surprising us." Cadence said.

"Yes, we are lucky to have him." Celestia said.

Twilight wasn't moving fast enough to find a book at a reasonable time.

"Twilight's a bit slow with the books... Let me do it again." The Gohan not holding the baby said, halving himself again.

The cloned Gohan moved all over the library, looking at each cover of each book and putting them back if they were unrelated.

Then Starlight and Spike came into the library.

They saw the three Gohans and the baby constantly shooting magic blasts.

"W-What's going on!? Why is there three Gohans!? And WHY do they have tails!?" Starlight asked.

"That's the Multi-Form Technique and this baby gave it back to me. I used to have a tail, you know." The Gohan holding the baby said.

"And do you want the long or short version of what's going on?" Pinkie asked.

"Short?" Starlight asked.

"The baby's an alicorn and accidentally destroyed the Crystal Heart and Twilight and Cadence and Gohan are looking for a spell to save the Crystal Empire from turning into a giant wasteland of snow and storms without Gohan having to put up his super large barrier." Pinkie said.

"Wait... So while he's holding a powerful alicorn baby, blasting the baby's blasts, and looking for the right book, he's ALSO put up a barrier to protect the Crystal Empire from the Frozen North?" Starlight asked.

"I'm exponentially stronger than all the alicorns in this room, I don't think it should come as a surprise at this point." Gohan said.

"A-A very broad claim..." Starlight said.

"He defeated Tirek, who absorbed the power of every alicorn before this baby and almost everypony in Equestria and Discord's AND his Super Saiyan power as a Super Saiyan 2. Need I say more?" Pinkie asked.

Starlight was left speechless.

"Yeah, Gohan's awesome, we know that." Rainbow Dash said.

"And this tail gave me a small power boost." Gohan said.

"And his brother is... I'm not sure about him." Twilight said.

"I know for sure his power as a Super Saiyan is about a tenth of my base form." The Gohan looking through the library said.

"Do you need any more?" Spike asked.

Starlight shook her head no.

"And does this book help?" Gohan asked, pulling out a black book with a unlocked lock and gold stuff on it.

Twilight took the book with her magic.

""Trotter's Tome of Reliquary?" I think this is it!" Twilight said, scanning the book.

She found a spell. "Spell of Relic Reconstitution! This is great!" She said.

"Great! Now all we have to do is-" The Gohan that was SUPPOSED to be blasting the baby's blasts said before the baby destroyed the fucking book.

Everyone looked in shock.

"...Oops." Gohan said.

"Oh no! That spell was the only thing in the library that was even close to what we needed!" Twilight said.

"I'm so so sorry!" The Gohan said, bowing to everyone.

"Y-You do not need to be so apologetic... You are multitasking beyond our own powers..." Luna said.

"Do you remember the spell?" Cadence asked.

"I only read it through once!" Twilight retorted.

"Well, if anypony can exactly remember something she read for the first time two minutes ago, it's you, Twilight." Rarity said.

"I'll try, but I'm not sure how long it'll take." Twilight said.

Since Twilight couldn't remember jack about the spell, and her attempts failed.

The topic of Sunburst came up and now they were going to summon him.

Starlight and Spike went to his abode again.

...But he was too busy with 'important wizard' work.

"What!? Did you hear what I said!?" Starlight asked.

"Oh, I heard you, but-but like I said, when you're an important wizard, the work just piles up." Sunburst said.

"Sunburst!" Starlight shouted.

Sunburst sighed... "Look, Starlight, I want to help. I do. But I can't. I wish I could." He said.

"What do you mean?! Gohan can't keep the barrier up forever!" Starlight said.

"Gohan? Son Gohan? As in the alien warrior child who defeated Discord and Tirek alone? He's here!? And he put up a magical barrier around the city!?" Sunburst asked.

"It's not magic. It's ki." Spike said.

"H-Huh? Anyway... I can't fix an ancient relic! I can't even come close to that!" Sunburst said.

"But I thought you were an important wizard!" Starlight said.

"Well, you were wrong, okay?!" Sunburst said with tears. "I'm not an important wizard! I'm not even a wizard at all!" He yelled, dashing away into a separate room.

He sat in a chair at his table.

"I know it's hard for you to understand, but not all of us end up achieving greatness." Sunburst said.

"What? Why wouldn't I understand that?" Starlight asked, sitting on the opposite side of the table.

"Really? You're the protégé of the Princess of Friendship! I don't think she picks just anypony for that!" Sunburst said.

"Technically, she's more of a student than a protégé." Spike said. "Actually she picked two." He added.

"Whatever. I'm sorry I'm not the big important wizard you were expecting." Sunburst said.

"Sunburst, I don't care if you're a wizard or not. I'm just surprised. You always knew so much about magic. I mean, look at all these books!" Starlight said.

"Yeah, well, reading about magic is one thing, but you don't know what it was like at magic school! To know so much and not be able to do any of it!" Sunburst said.

"Well, YOU don't know what it was like to be left behind! And then getting so bitter that you steal the cutie marks from an entire village and then get defeated by Twilight and her friends, so you travel through time to get back at them, but they beat you again and teach you about friendship, but you're so terrified ponies will find out what you did that you can't make any friends!" Starlight retorted with tears at the end.

"The same kind of thing happened to Gohan before you came, Starlight." Spike said.

"R-Really?" Starlight asked.

"Yeah, worried we wouldn't accept him for why he actually came to Equestria." Spike said.

"Oh." Starlight said.

...

"Did you really travel through time?" Sunburst asked.

"See? I told you he'd be impressed." Spike said.

"I'm sorry we lost touch. Maybe if I had reached out, you could have helped me at magic school, and I could have helped you to-" "Not become totally evil?" Starlight interrupted.

The two started to reconnect again, and they smiled.

She sighed. "Let's just say I know what it's like to have something you're not exactly proud of." She said.

"When you showed up thinking I was some big wizard... I'm sorry. I should have told you the truth." Sunburst said.

"It's fine. At least we worked it all out. I think Twilight would be proud of us." Starlight said.

"And... I think I know how we can fix the Crystal Heart." Sunburst said.

"Okay, now that we've completed the first lesson, let's get back to the palace." Spike said.

The three made it to the shattered Crystal Heart, where everyone else but Goten were.

He was still giving the ponies an epic show.

He was getting tired, but it was ok.

Sunburst examined the shattered Heart. "The baby did this!?" He asked.

"Yeah, she did. Due to her crying." Gohan said.

Twilight pulled up her memories on a paper

"I tried putting it back together with-" "The spell of Relic Reconstitution. No, that won't do it. The Crystal Heart's been around for millennia. Restoring a relic like this is way beyond one spell. You need to combine it with something else. Something unique to the relic itself. Something that strengthens it and provides it with power...?" Sunburst interrupted Twilight.

"...The crystalling!" Twilight said.

"Combining that spell with the light and love of everypony gathered for the ceremony, together with... Somnambula's Weather Abjuration to clear away the snow... and a little Fledgling's Forbearance for the parents... Heh. That should curb the little one's power fluctuations." Sunburst said, pulling out the spells for the two.

"You must be Sunburst. Starlight said you were a powerful wizard." Cadence said.

"Oh, I'm no wizard." Sunburst said.

Everyone but Gohan, Celestia, Spike and Starlight gasped.

Starlight came to his defense. "But he studied magic his whole life! You should see his house! And since nopony has any better ideas, what do we have to lose?!" She asked.

After like, two seconds of thinking, Shining Armor had an answer. He used his magic to levitate the baby towards Sunburst.

" I had planned on asking Twilight to be our crystaller, but since it seems like she'll be busy..." He said.

"I'd be honored!" Sunburst said, holding the baby in his hooves.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Twilight asked.

The ceremony was happening now.

An exhausted Goten was given a senzu bean by his trustworthy brother.

The alicorns except Cadence and the baby put the Crystal Heart together, but they could only hold it for so long.

So, the crystalling had to be quick.

Everyone else was on the heart shaped stage.

Cadence and Shining Armor touched horns, and the baby started floating with a yellow light.

She was giggling while the magic made it's noise.

Sunburst chose a gem from Rarity's collection.

"Citizens! May I present the newest member of the Crystal Empire!" He proclaimed.

The light shone brighter than before.

Finally, the crystalling had happened.

The ponies cheered.

The Saiyans cheered.

The gem was filled with magic, so Sunburst took it to the temporary Crystal Heart.

And with that, the Crystal Heart was restored!

Everyone was crystallized again.

The storms closing in around Gohan's barrier were destroyed.

And Gohan put down the barrier.

"Wow! What is this!?" Goten asked.

"Oh, we're crystallized. Don't turn Super Saiyan, or else you'll blind everypony." Gohan said.

And with that, the baby was crystalled.

The parents hugged their baby.

The ponies and Saiyans gathered around the Crystal Heart again.

"For a pony who isn't great at magic, you did pretty well." Starlight said.

"Indeed. I'm glad to see you've found a way to share your unique gift, Sunburst. You may be more of a wizard than you think." Celestia said.

"Yeah, you were good." Gohan said.

Everyone but the Royal Sisters were at the train station, waiting for Twilight's parents to show up.

And they did.

"You would not believe the crazy weather that delayed our train. Came out of nowhere." Night Light, Twilight and Shining Armor's father said.

"But it was all worth it to see this peaceful little angel! Awww, so sweet! Come to your grandmare!" Twilight Velvet said, and the baby reached for her with giggles.

"Yeah, she's peaceful now. And it was totally worth it. Could've just teleported. But somepony decided that anticipation was better." Gohan said.

"That reminds me... You're a good friend of Twilight's, correct?" Night Light asked.

"Yep. And I'm the godfather of this adorable little powerful baby." Gohan said.

"R-Really!? Then we have no doubts she will be safe forever!" Twilight Velvet said.

"Definitely while he's around." Twilight said.

The baby was about to sneeze, and everyone took cover!

Well, not the Saiyans, but they were ready for a blast.

She sneezed... Like a regular baby.

"We have Sunburst to thank for that." Shining Armor said.

"I hope he takes his role as crystaller seriously. Something tells me the baby will need a pony like him to look to for magical advice. Or Gohan if she wants to be some sort of martial artist." Cadence said.

"Cadance, darling, aren't we gonna name the poor little dear, or are we gonna spend our entire visit just calling her "the baby"?" Twilight Velvet asked.

"We were thinking... Flurry Heart." Cadence said.

"Y'know, to remember the occasion." Shining Armor said.

"Oh goodness, how could anyone forget?" Rarity asked.

"It's still an amazing name." Gohan said.

"Yes. I think it's lovely." Twilight said, kissing Flurry on the cheek.

Flurry reached and giggled.

And that concludes that.
