The time had come.

Goku and Gohan were in the arena.

The arena was barren, and the floor was made of flat stone.

There was an invisible magical force field for a ceiling, as to prevent any running away.

The bystanders who watched consisted of many ponies.

The princesses, the Mane 6, Spike, many random ponies, and even Blueblood was there.

The princesses had two very comfortable chairs to sit in, while the Mane 6 and Blueblood sat beside them.

All the other ponies had a giant bench to sit on.

"I honestly don't see how two overgrown monkeys can give us a show." Blueblood said.

"I believe it will be a very action packed battle." Rarity said.

"I bet Gohan's gonna win!" Spike said.

"Nah, Goku's gonna beat him!" Rainbow Dash said.

"What do you think, Fluttershy?" Twilight asked, notepad and pencil in magic.

"Oh, I don't know... I'll root for the two of them..." Fluttershy said.

"If that fellow is that boy's father, then I can only imagine how much stronger he is than Gohan." Applejack said.

Blueblood scoffed. "I still can't believe you made a child protector of Equestria, Auntie." He said.

"He has saved us from chaos, nephew." Celestia said.

"We shall start the match now." Luna said.

Goku and Gohan stared each other down. A smile on both of their faces.

"No holding back, Gohan!" Goku said.

"Same to you, Dad!" Gohan said.

"Everypony, the match begins now!" Celestia called.

Horns erupted, and the two Saiyans clashed instantly.

Goku and Gohan charged at each other at light speed.

Not even Rainbow Dash could see the movement.

They threw a punch at each other, and the resulting parry produced a shockwave/wind that hindered the sight of the bystanders.

Twilight wrote the event down.

"I-It just started, and now they created wind!" Twilight said.

Immediately, Goku and Gohan started throwing rapid punches and kicks at each other.

As they clashed all over the arena, they kept yelling: "ATATATATATATATA!"

Occasionally they hit one another.

Not even 15 seconds into the match, and all of the ponies were flabbergasted.

"H-How aren't they tired yet!?" Twilight asked, writing down notes.

"How are they moving so fast?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Fluttershy cowered and hid behind her chair as the shockwaves appeared.

"It's so barbaric!" Blueblood shouted.

"It's AWESOME!" Rainbow Dash said.

'I-Insane!' Twilight thought.

Goku finally landed a heavy punch on Gohan, which launched him away at last.

Gohan recovered, and spun around to land on the wall with his feet, and jump back at Goku.

Goku expected a punch, but Gohan actually flew behind him, and kicked him in the back.

Goku was launched, but turned around and shot a powerful ki blast at Gohan.

Gohan deflected it and flew at Goku.

"This is very action packed, wouldn't you say, sister?" Celestia asked.

"Indeed." Luna said.

"They're fast!" Pinkie Pie said.

"Not faster than me!" Rainbow Dash said.

"I don't know, sugarcube." Applejack said with a smirk.

"What does that mean, AJ?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"It means that they're probably faster than you." Applejack said.

"No they're not. I'll race Gohan after this, just you wait." Rainbow Dash said.

'Uh oh.' Twilight thought. 'But it's really fast!'

"Auntie, this is too barbaric! I demand that you relieve them of this fight, and that boy's duties!" Blueblood said.

"Nephew, you must be kind. Now hush, this battle is getting interesting." Celestia said.

Fluttershy kept hiding behind her hooves and peeking again.

Goku and Gohan were throwing punches and kicks again, and Goku knocked Gohan away.

"Let's kick it up a notch!" Goku said, turning Super Saiyan.

His irises turned blue, his hair spiked up, and turned yellow in an instant.

"You said it!" Gohan said, turning Super Saiyan.

The transformation shocked the audience.

"Oh my, now I remember that monkey! He was at the Gala!" Blueblood shouted.

"Yes, the good boy pulled the carriage for us." Rarity said.

"I-I still don't know how they do it." Rainbow Dash said.

"The battle has increased in action!" Luna exclaimed.

The Super Saiyans stared each other down.

Then, Gohan seemingly appeared in front of Goku, who blocked Gohan's punch with his forearm.

"H-He's fast!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Do you still think he's slower than you, Dashie?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"U-Uh, yeah!" Rainbow Dash said nervously.

'His speed multiplied! But by how much?' Twilight asked, writing down notes.

"So cool!" Spike said.

Gohan threw many punches at speeds unimaginable, which Goku all blocked.

Goku dodged the next one, and kneed Gohan in the stomach.

Gohan was knocked away with another kick before he could recover from the knee.

Gohan stopped himself in midair, and Goku was charging at Gohan.

Gohan blasted many ki blasts at the incoming Goku.

Goku was hit by one, and dodged every other one.

Gohan kicked Goku back down to the ground, and Goku jumped back up at Gohan, cracking the ground below him.

"Their strengths alone can shatter the ground!" Celestia said.

"No wonder he defeated Discord!" Rainbow Dash said.

Fluttershy was so scared that she ended up hugging Rainbow Dash without realizing it.

"Fluttershy, what are you doing?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I'm too scared!" Fluttershy said.

Rainbow Dash sighed.

Twilight couldn't help but giggle.

Goku and Gohan were throwing barrages of punches and kicks at each other again.

"ATATATATATA!" They yelled again.

"I could barely keep up before, now it just looks like they're just... Pieces!" Twilight exclaimed.

Rainbow Dash's mouth was agape.

Fluttershy hugged tighter.

"F-Fluttershy! Too... Tight!" Rainbow Dash said, losing air.

"Oop, sorry... EEP!" Fluttershy said as she let go, when they clashed in front of her.

Eventually, Goku knocked Gohan away again.

"Show me your full strength, Gohan!" Goku yelled.

"Are you sure?" Gohan asked.

"Yes." Goku said.

Gohan channeled his rage to ascend to the Super Saiyan 2 form.

His hair spiked up, and overall looked different.

"I never cease to amaze myself." Goku said.

"Why?" Gohan asked.

"Because... THIS!" Goku said, turning Super Saiyan 2 himself.

Goku's hair spiked up even more.

This surprised Gohan.

"Y-You did it too?" Gohan asked.

"Yep! I did it in heaven. Now, let's go!" Goku said.

Goku and Gohan clashed again, and this time, nopony could even see them.

"H-How can anypony move so fast!?" Applejack asked.

"Well, when you got wings like these, and training like them, it's easy!" Rainbow Dash bragged, showing off her wings.

"RD, you will never learn." Applejack said.

"Now what's that supposed to mean!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"You know." Applejack said, giggling.

"Hey! He is NOT faster than me!" Rainbow Dash retorted.

"Don't worry, I think you're still the best..." Fluttershy said.

"At least I got one pony on my side." Rainbow Dash said.

"Everypony, look!" Twilight said.

Goku had been knocked away by Gohan.

He put two fingers to his head and teleported behind Gohan.

He kicked him away!

Gohan recovered and stood on the ground again.

"It's time to end this. SUPER KAIOKEN!" Goku yelled, using the Kaioken times 2. His yellow aura turned into a crimson red, and his power doubled.

"What?" Gohan asked before he was hit by a punch.

It was too fast for even him to see.

As Gohan was knocked away, Goku began to charge his Kamehameha.

Gohan recovered and also charged his Kamehameha.

"KAMEHAMEHA!" They both yelled.

The clashing blasts were too much for the force field, and it broke.

Celestia used her magic to try and protect the ponies if anything were to happen.

"I-I never thought there could be TWO of them!" Twilight exclaimed.

Goku quickly overpowered Gohan's own blast.

Gohan was holding Goku's Kamehameha back his just his bare hands.

It tore at Gohan's arms more and more as time went by.

Finally, Gohan couldn't hold it off.

The most the blast did was explode, not shoot off into the horizon.

But there was tons of smoke.

All the ponies looked into the arena.

Goku let the Kaioken die out.

There was only silence as the smoke died down.

The smoke finally died.

It revealed Gohan with a very torn gi.

Goku managed to knock the Super Saiyan 2 out of Gohan.

Gohan was back in his base form, exhausted and defeated.

He was panting.

Goku powered down to a mere base form.

He also walked in front of Gohan.

Gohan, not giving up, attempted to punch Goku as a last resort.

But, he stopped before he reached Goku's face.

Goku's hair flew for a moment from the wind of the punch.

But...

Gohan collapsed.

Goku caught Gohan before he reached the ground. "You fought well, son." He said.

All of the ponies except for Blueblood cheered.

Goku reached into a small baggie on his belt. He brought senzu beans.

Goku put the bean in Gohan's mouth. "You fought well." He said.

Gohan was healed completely, and was at full strength again.

"Dad?" He asked.

"Hey!" Goku said, grinning widely.

"Nice job, Dad." Gohan said, grinning himself. He stood on his own feet.

"Thanks, you too!" Goku said, eating a senzu bean himself.

"Well, it appears that Goku has won." Celestia said.

They were in the palace again.

"I knew it!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Y'all put up a show, I must say." Applejack said.

"You two were amazing." Celestia said.

"It was terrible!" Blueblood shouted.

All eyes were on him.

"Outrageous! It was so barbaric, how could you praise them for it!? That monkey could kill us all!" He yelled, pointing at Gohan.

"Hey, that's my son you're talking to." Goku said, stepping in front of Gohan.

"Nephew! Calm yourself!" Celestia yelled.

"No, auntie! These mongrels must leave at once!" Blueblood yelled.

"Now I don't know what you've seen, but my son has saved you from destruction twice. I think you should be thankful that you're still alive." Goku said.

"Blueblood, leave the palace until I tell you to return." Celestia said with a very serious and irritated voice.

Blueblood did just that, mumbling to himself.

"Anyway, how'd you two do those things!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Things like what?" Goku and Gohan asked.

"You know, the blasts and whatnot!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Are you willing to teach her, Gohan?" Goku asked.

"To be honest, no. Too dangerous to teach her." Gohan said.

"You said it." Goku said.

"What!? Why!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"We had to do a plethora of dangerous and life threatening things when we were just toddlers! Not even you could survive so long." Goku bragged.

"Oh yeah? I bet I can!" Rainbow Dash retorted.

"P-Please, let's not be hasty..." Gohan said with an awkward smile, and got in between of Goku and Rainbow Dash.

"Anyway, you two put on a spectacular show. I'm glad we appointed someone of pure heart and amazing strength to be the protector of Equestria." Celestia said.

"Oh, that reminds me. Do I still have to live with the Apples?" Gohan asked.

"It is entirely up to you." Celestia said.

"Sugarcube, as long as you work at the farm from time to time, we don't mind you leaving! Heheh!" Applejack said.

"Really? Then can I go back to my shack?" Gohan asked.

"Yes, you may." Celestia said.

"Alright, Gohan! The tide just turned in your favor, right?" Goku asked.

"I-I guess so." Gohan said.

"We have to show Goku around Ponyville!" Twilight said.

"Okay, my little ponies. I will resume my duties as princess. I'm expecting a letter from you soon, Twilight Sparkle." Celestia said.

"Okay, Princess Celestia!" Twilight said.

"Everyone grab on!" Goku said, putting two fingers to his head.

"I need to master teleportation." Twilight said.

They were back in Ponyville.

"Gohan, you and I must race!" Rainbow Dash demanded.

'Uh oh.' Gohan and Twilight thought.
