The living room just had a television, a table, and a blue couch.

Wooden floor and walls.

Looks like a cabin.

Well, Gohan and Sunset sat on the blue couch.

"...So... I saw some pictures..." Sunset said.

"Okay." Gohan said.

"Heheh... Uh, please don't call me crazy, but I found something that leads me to believe that... Um..." Sunset said.

'Oh no...' Gohan thought.

"Please answer this... Um... Are we dating...?" Sunset asked.

...

"Uh... Yeah..." Gohan said.

Well, Gohan wasn't so nervous anymore.

'Better than the other thing...' He thought.

Same with her.

"Okay, why didn't you tell me before?" Sunset asked.

"I-I didn't want you to think I was some sort of a creep... It would've been the most random thing to tell you." Gohan said.

"Well, that makes sense." Sunset said.

"You were going to find out eventually... You have your phone and the book to me." Gohan said.

"Oh." Sunset said.

"Well, questions about that later... Now, the real question..." Sunset asked.

"Which is...?" Gohan asked.

"What the heck was that hair?" Sunset asked.

"Huh? Oh! My Super Saiyan 2..." Gohan said.

"You have a second one?" Sunset asked.

"Believe it or not, I have another one that Pinkie kept insisting was called Super Saiyan 4. Even though I never had 3." Gohan said.

"Oh..." Sunset said.

"I could've used 2 against you in our battle, but it wasn't necessary..." Gohan said.

"I see... Also... Another question... Who is this?" Sunset asked, pulling her phone out.

She showed him a picture of Gohan giving Goten a piggyback ride.

Gohan recoiled a bit...

'G-Goten...' He thought.

...

"Well? Who is it?" Sunset asked.

"M-My brother..." Gohan said.

He looked extremely distraught...

"A-Are you alright?" Sunset asked.

Gohan was doing short gasps, trying to keep it in...

"No no no..." He said to himself, forcing his eyes shut.

'Wait...' Sunset thought.

She saw the transparent lock again...

"So it all makes sense now..." Sunset said.

Gohan managed to calm himself.

Opening his eyes...

"What does...?" He asked.

"Well, why you cried earlier." Sunset said, setting the phone down.

'...Dang it!' Gohan thought.

"What happened to your brother, huh?" Sunset asked.

Gohan looked even more scared...

"N-Nothing..." He clearly lied.

The lock was shaking...

"Gohan." Sunset said sternly.

"P-Please... Stop..." Gohan said...

Was he...

Whimpering...?

"Tell me now. Earlier, I had nothing, but now I know it's your brother. Now what happened?" Sunset asked.

Gohan...

Started crying.

Tiny sobs...

But forcefully closed eyes...

And tears rolling down his face.

'Oh no...' Sunset thought.

But, lucky her...

The lock shattered and disappeared.

"Fine...!" Gohan sobbed.

"I can't take it! It's too much...!" He sobbed.

'Got him...?' Sunset thought.

"I'm sorry, Goten...! I'm sorry!" He sobbed repeatedly.

'I'm guessing his name is Goten.' Sunset thought.

"I could've kept fighting to keep you... Instead, my cowardice came into play, and I gave up...!" Gohan yelled at himself.

"I didn't deserve that second chance...!" He yelled...

"What are you talking about...?" Sunset asked.

"He's dead!" Gohan sobbed.

Then he started crying louder...

'Oh... I just opened a can of whupass on his feelings...' Sunset thought.

'What do I do...? Do I hug him? Or is he gonna grab... No, he's not like that... I think.' She thought.

Sunset slowly but carefully wrapped her arms around Gohan...

...Then Gohan responded by instantly wrapping his around her...

He put his head on top of her shoulder...

Bawling his eyes out.

But that made Sunset see...

The future!

His memories...

Or, only what the lock let her see, at least.

Goten's death/destruction...

And the fight that continued.

First, she saw Gohan being shoved aside...

Then Goten being destroyed.

Before...

He silently said...

"Thank you."

Then she saw bits and pieces of Gohan uselessly fighting Beerus at his full power...

Such as the fight in the forest...

Then the fight taken to the skies...

The dragon fist...

The final struggle against the planet destruction attack...

That's all she could see.

Gohan kept crying...

"He gave his own life..." Sunset said.

Gohan sniffled.

"W-What...?" He asked.

The hug broke.

"He gave his life to let you survive." Sunset said.

"And it's all my fault!" Gohan said.

"Do you honestly think you killed him?" Sunset asked.

Gohan wiped his tears...

"Obviously..." He said, looking guilty.

"Some cat human did it, not you..." Sunset said.

"Don't be a wise guy..." Gohan muttered.

"He was willing to save you, Gohan. You had no stamina left! Until you got angry enough to stand..." Sunset said.

"I could've kept him alive!" Gohan said.

"Gohan, the guy had you on your knees, you clearly had nothing left until Goten gave you something to fight for." Sunset said.

"No..." Gohan said.

"You're obviously feeling guilty about it, but you can't control what your brother does. Gohan, did you look at Goten as he pushed you?" Sunset asked.

"I-I did..." Gohan said.

"What did he tell you?" Sunset asked.

"I-I'm not sure... I couldn't hear him." Gohan said.

"He thanked you." Sunset said, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"W-What?" Gohan asked.

"Remember. I saw it myself." Sunset said.

"H-How did you...?" Gohan asked.

"I don't really know... But I saw it." Sunset said.

"...Y-You're right..." Gohan said...

He looked down at his hands...

"And... He looked happy...?" Gohan said.

"I obviously can't explain his happiness in the moment, but it shows. He wasn't scared." Sunset said.

Gohan clenched his fists...

"You couldn't prevent it. No matter what you did, you would've lost to the cat. And you couldn't foresee the fact that the cat just randomly disappeared." Sunset said.

"Hrrgh..." Gohan grunted, trying to keep it in...

"Gohan... Cry. Let it out." Sunset said, rubbing his back.

...A tiny sob.

The tears fell...

Then Gohan relaxed...?

He didn't force his eyes shut anymore...

But it remained closed.

No more clenching of the fists...

...

"G-Gohan?" Sunset asked.

Gohan wrapped her arms around Sunset...

A few more tiny sobs into her shoulder...

"Er... That's right... Cry, Gohan. Let it all out." Sunset said, rubbing his back.

Sunset was patting Gohan's back as he was finally ending his crying.

"T-Thank you..." Gohan sobbed a bit.

"It's not a problem. You're my friend, it's nothing." Sunset said.

Gohan wiped his eyes for the last time.

"Don't think that your brother resents you in any way, you got it?" Sunset asked.

"I won't. You always know what do, eh?" Gohan asked with a smile.

"What do you mean?" Sunset asked.

"I'm suggesting that you're smart." Gohan said.

"Oh. Thanks..." Sunset said.

'I should leave now. I need to talk to dad...' Gohan thought.

"...What was it like?" Sunset asked.

"What was what like?" Gohan asked.

"Our relationship. You know... The couple stuff." Sunset said.

"Oh. It's a healthy relationship, I suppose..." Gohan said.

"No, I mean, what was it about? Who started it, who's big spoon, you know... That stuff." Sunset said.

"But why...?" Gohan asked.

...

'...Actually, I don't really have a good reason, do I...?' Sunset thought.

"I'm just curious... I mean, don't you get any funny ideas, now." She said with a slightly angry face.

"I-I assure you, I won't manipulate you to kiss me or whatever." Gohan said.

"It's usually you who does that to me..."

"What was that?" Sunset asked.

"I-It's usually you... w-who does that to me..." Gohan said.

"Really?" Sunset asked.

"To be frank... You're the dominant one." Gohan said.

"Huh... I didn't expect to hear that." Sunset said.

"Okay, sorry, but... I have to leave." Gohan said, standing up.

"What? Why?" Sunset asked.

"I...need to rectify an issue with others..." Gohan said.

"But I wanted to know more..." Sunset said.

"About what? There's not much else that you can't think of." Gohan said.

"Well... I guess I just don't want to be alone now that... Yeah." Sunset said.

"Our friends, right?" Gohan asked.

"Yeah..." Sunset said.

"I'm sorry, but... Like I said, I need to rectify an issue. It's serious, alright?" Gohan asked.

"Ugh... Fine, I'm sorry." Sunset said.

"Don't be... You just don't know the whole of it." Gohan said.

"What? I saw your brother." Sunset said.

"...I'm afraid that's not all that's happening." Gohan said.

"I need to leave now." He added.

Sunset sighed.

"Okay, I'll see you on Monday." She said.

'I can just look through that book to find my answers, right?' She thought.

"I want to get this over with as soon as possible..." Gohan muttered, putting two fingers to his head.

Then he just vanished.

...

"Did he teach me any of that? I mean, if my friends could do that..." Sunset asked herself.

'Does he also know the definition of that random word because of his brother? Today has been really weird...' She thought.

Goku was just waiting outside that damn portal...

Sitting beside it, actually.

'Come on...! I wanna train! Even though it's time for bed... I wanna test Gohan's power already...!' He thought.

'Well, before that... Twilight wanted me to talk to him again, but what am I supposed to say this time? Don't be a Vegeta?' He thought.

'I know he's depressed and stuff... But come on! I need a miracle... Like, he'll come here right now, and apologize, and he'll promise to be better and whatever. That'll never happen, hah!' He laughed in his mind.

...Then Gohan came through the portal.

"Finally!" Goku said, jumping to his feet.

"W-Were you waiting for me...?" Gohan asked.

"Yeah, I'm bored training by myself. I didn't want to get in between you and your girlfriend~!" Goku sneered.

"S-Stop it...!" Gohan said, blushing.

"Okay, but on a serious note... We need to train, son." Goku said, putting a hand on Gohan's shoulder.

"...Yeah, before that... I need to... Er..." Gohan stuttered.

"...Don't tell me you wanna go back to bed..." Goku said.

"No, it's not that... But it is getting late, how can you be so energetic at this time?" Gohan asked.

"I've been bored all day." Goku said.

"Well... Okay, but I just wanted to apologize." Gohan said.

'...Color me purple.' Goku thought.

"Y-You know... About my attitude... and..." Gohan said.

"Hey, don't worry about that, I don't care. Are you gonna get back to training and studying and stuff?" Goku asked.

Gohan slowly nodded.

"...Then great! Now, let's go fishing for dinner. I haven't eaten at all!" Goku said, beginning to walk away.

"W-What?" Gohan asked.

Now that he thought about it...

'I haven't eaten at all...! I'm hungry too...!' He thought.

Goku stopped to look over his shoulder.

"Well? Are you coming? Let's catch some dinner! Twilight told me that there was something like Paozu tuna around here!" He said.

"I'm gonna eat it all before you do!" He said, running away.

...

'Er... I guess I can apologize to the others later...' Gohan thought.

...But then he grinned and started running.

"I'm catching more!" He said.

Then the two were just off the property...

...

Twilight and Spike came out into the room.

"I guess Sunset helped him get over it?" Twilight asked Spike.

"How should I know?" Spike asked.

"I'm glad he's finally back to normal... But I wonder why." Twilight said.

"I'm just glad that he's back, so can I go to bed now?" Spike asked.

"Yes, Spike, you can." Twilight said.

Hahah! It's been too damn long...!

I know the chapters right now are shit, but that's because I've lost my boner for writing this story.

Well, they were shit to begin with, but these are shittier. Wrap your mind around that.

I finally finished this half written chapter...

I didn't feel like writing this. Someone pointed out how long it had been, so I needed to do something.

I need some time to get the boner back.
