Pip lay restrained in the bed alone, looking about fearfully. Pip was always scared when he was alone. "A-Applebloom?!" he yelled.

The foal came back. "Sorry. I wanted to check on Carrot Top."

"C-Carrot Top?" he asked.

"Yep," said AB, hopping up on top of Pip and laying down on the foal. "I wanted to try something..."

"Wh-What did you want to t-try?"

AB then untied Pip's limbs one by one. "I think I trust you enough..."

But once his limbs were free, Pip shoved Bloom off the bed head first. When she looked, she saw his hooves already headed down the stairs.

She let out a gasp and stumbled to her hooves before falling back down. "NO!"

Pip ran into Ponyville as fast as he could, he looked around at the houses till he spotted the library. "M-Miss Twilight can help me!" he yelled, running to the tree.

The door opened as he neared it, revealing the purple unicorn with a slightly confused expression on her face. "Pipsqueak?"

"Miss Twilight, ya gotta help me!" he yelled, cowering against her foreleg.

The purple mare looked around and brought him in before closing the door. "What's wrong?"

"It's Applejack and Bloom! They've gone nuts! A-Applebloom she... she..." He trailed off, cowering.

Twilight smiled. "You can stay here as long as you need," she said, rubbing his back. "I'll go and get help, okay?"

"Th-Thank you, Miss Twilight..." he said.

The unicorn smiled. "Go upstairs and rest. Before you know it... this'll all be over."

"B-But... Can't I come with you... I don't want to be alone..." he said.

"What if I left you with Pinkie Pie? You can rest there."

"O-Okay..." he said, hugging her foreleg.

"Come on. Let's go," said Twilight, opening the door.

Pip kept under Twilight as they walked.

They soon arrived at Sugarcube and Twilight knocked.

The door opened, revealing Pinkamena. "Hey, Twilight. I just came back from..." She stopped when she saw Pipsqueak. "What's up?"

"I-It's the Apple sisters! Th-They've gone crazy!" Pip said.

Pinks put a hoof on her mouth to hide a smile. "Oh, my... Come in."

Pip trotted in, shaking slightly. "A-Applebloom had me tied up... She... She did bad things to me..." he said with a growing blush.

"Come on," said Pinks, stepping inside.

Twilight smiled at Pipsqueak. "Go on. Rest while I tell the Guard about this."

The foal nodded and went to a booth, lying down and falling asleep.

Pinks then smiled at Twilight. "So..."

"Save it, Pinks. I'm only doing this because if word gets out about AJ, it may affect the rest of us."

Pinks smiled. "Of course..."

"I'll be at Applejack's... Make sure he--"

"Make sure he doesn't find out, yes. I've been doing this longer than you, Twilight."

Twilight smiled weakly. "Right," she said, before turning and trotting away.

"Hey, how are you and Fluttershy?"

Twi stopped moving. She then let out a sigh and hung her head as she continued on to Sweet Apple Acres.
