POV: Third Person

Another scream followed soon after the shriek. The pitch of the scream confirmed it was from the owner of the previous shriek. This only edged Allen to run faster. It was only a matter of time before the screaming would stop.

POV: Allen Smith

“GOD DAMN! I need to hurry! They sound like they are in trouble! Just a little faster!” My feet pounded more furiously each passing second as the cottage got closer. I got a clearer view of the cottage and couldn’t help but notice the features I didn’t see. It had a little stream going to the forest and under a small bridge passing over to th-Fuck! Don’t get distracted! I need to help someone! As I got closer, the smells of many animals became apparent along with that horrible stench that I encountered back at the forest. It smelled like shit!

I could sniff the scent and by some quick calculations, the smell was on the other side of the cottage. Wait? When did I learn to calculate that? Never mind that, I got more important things to do. Scurrying animals could be heard from within the cottage and three growls foreign from the cottage. Along with the growls, a low quiet whimper could be heard with the growls. I quickly jump over the cottage and quietly landed on it.

Three wooden wolves were cornering a small pegasus. The pegasus itself had a soft,butter coat with long pink hair, curling just at the tips. From its physical features, it’s safe to assume that it’s not an it but instead a female. However it’s not safe to FUCKING ASSUME THAT SHE IS SAFE! She is covered in mud and twigs, she has bruises covered everywhere on her body and she is on the verge of tears.

This made me MAD! One of the wolves started sniffing the air, as if barely noticing my scent.

Music Starts

I leap off the cottage and landed between the pegasus and the wolves with a light amount of dirt being thrown up into the air, surprising the wolves and making them jump back quickly. They stare at me with curiousity as the dirt settles. The dirt clears slowly but surely reveals me.

“So what’cha doing here? Chasing girls I see. If you mutts want to see the light of day again, I suggest you FUCK OFF!” I say in a threatening tone, only being amplified by my aggressive snarl. They seemed to get the message as they got into a stance and started to give their own snarl at me. Not going without a fight, huh? I like that. It’s about time I test the Phantom Ruby out.

“I guess I’ll have to teach you a lesson! Let’s see if you can learn some new tricks!”

“Feast of him my brothers! It’s time we kill this rabble!” The wolf in the middle barked out.

“Talking wolves? Strange isn’t it?!” I say clearly surprised. I grab the pegasus, jump on the cottage and place her on it. She is in a shocked state and as still as a dead rock. I jump back to where I was previously, ready to test out the Phantom Ruby’s Powers.

“Get ready you filthy mutts! I will break your reality!”

With fluid motion, I jumped towards the wolf in the middle and sliced the sword in between its head, making the entirety of the head shatter into twigs and small branches of wood. I followed up with quickly kicking the wolf into the other wolf on my right side, making both of them fall into pieces. The wolf on my right side jumps at me with its jaw wide open and claws ready to dig into skin. As it lands in front of me, I dodge every swipe and bite.

“You never learn, do you?” With a slash of my sword, The Wolf is cut in half and sent flying into the pile of it fallen comrades.

“It’s gonna come back but I do feel for kicking their asses so badly.” I turned around and looked at the pony on the roof. Her face was one of surprise. Was. It quickly turned into one of shocked horror as I heard the banging of large pieces of wood hitting and a growling getting louder every moment behind me.

“Ah shit!”

Music Starts

I barely dodge a large wooden paw. I then turn around to see a wooden wolf the size of a small building.

“WHAT THE FUCK! I DIDNT KNOW YOU COULD DO THAT?!” It’s large eyes just narrowed in on me. Noticing it was just standing there, I took my chances. I jumped towards it eyes. Maybe that’s its weak spot. I thought I could strike it’s eyes but instead, it just got on its hind legs. At this moment, I knew I fucked up. Pain surged through my body as I was smashed onto the ground and sent tumbling. After a few painful seconds, I stopped tumbling and laid on the ground in pain and nearly unable to move.

“G-g-god dam-m-mit, I-I can’t be-believe this! I-I’m in a n-new bod-dy and im a-about to die?!” With the remaining strength I had, I lifted my head and looked at the Phantom Ruby somehow still gripped in my hands.

“I-it’s t-t-time for a cha-c-change in p-pace!” But to no avail. The Phantom Ruby doesn’t do anything.

“N-nooo! Why isn’t this working?” All hope seems lose. I stay put and look at wooden wolf close the distance. I could hear the pounding of large, wooden paws striking the ground.

“Hmph! Get a load of this!” A familiar egg shaped human said.

Music Starts

Without warning, the Egg Dragoon appears out of nowhere, twirling in the air behind the wolf. The wolf seems to notice the new arrival as it quickly turns around and looks at the giant machine in anger for interrupting it.

“D-d it work?!” I asked to no one in general.

“No it didn’t.” A random voice with an fancy sounding accent said. This caught me off guard at the time. I slowly turned my head and saw one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen in my life. It looked to be a combination of different animal parts, like an animal version of Frankenstein.

“I saw what you were trying to do and it didn’t work, so I did it myself! Quite an interesting concept on fighting enemies but enjoyable.”

“J-just who are y-you?” The thing just pondered in silence before teleporting to my side and replying.

“You May call me Discord, the spirit of chaos! For saving my dear Fluttershy, I shall repay you. Now go to sleep. You got quite the day tomorrow!” He said in a mischievous tone.

My eyelids got heavier every moment. The last thing I saw was the wolf in midair with bullets cutting though it and a large drill rocketing towards it chest. Damn, I went out like a little bitch!

This chapter was short due to it being a boss battle type chapter. So to make up for it, you’ll get some nice boss battle music!
