We Used To Dazzle; We Used To Shine.

Months after their defeat at the hands of the Rainbooms The Dazzlings are doing their best to scrape by, but when Adagio gets Fatally ill will her Siren Sisters swallow their pride to save her!?

No gems, no songs, no magic. For months The Dazzlings have been barely scrapping by in the human world. Without their siren powers to help them manipulate others the sisters have had to make due as best they can. But when their leader Adagio becomes fatally ill they may have no choice but to turn to Sunset and the Rainbooms for help. But will their old advisaries even agree to help them? And if so, will they find a way to save Adagio in time!?

Prologue: Even The Brightest Gem Will Fade

It was late, very late. However that didn't stop the three frustrated young women from making as loud footsteps as they could as they angrily marched up the stairs to their apartment. Slowly the first one unlocked the door, turned the knob and slammed the door open.

"I am so tired of this!" Adagio shouted as she stomped into the tiny hovel she and her sisters called home.

"Like the rest of us aren't" Aria sarcastically added, rolling her eyes at her sister's all too familiar temper tantrums.

"I dunno, I think the uniforms are kind of cute" Sonata chuckled as she looked at herself in the mirror, straightening her name tag and staring at her navy blue hat with cat ears at the top that simply read "Welcome to Taco-Cat!"

" Well i've had enough!" Adagio huffed. "We could have had it all, magic, power, a world of our own where that bearded idiot and his friends could never get to us!" Adagio whined "But then those stupid Rainbooms had to come in and ruin everything!" She screeched as she went to the sink to make herself a glass of water.

"I dunno, I mean, it's not all bad" Sonata smiled sitting on the bed the three shared. "I mean, we may not have our magic anymore, or be able to sing like we used to....."

"Oh real inspiring sis" Aria mocked

"I wasn't finished!" Sonata pouted. "We may not have our powers, but we still have each other, and that's good, right?" The bubbly siren asked.

"Pfft, yea, whatever" Aria replied.

All of a sudden the two bickering siblings heard the sound of glass breaking as they turned to see Adagio had dropped her glass of water and was propping herself up against the counter.

"Whats wrong now?" Aria sneered

"Ah, You OK Dagi?" Sonata asked a bit concerned.

"Ah, yea, I think, I think I just over exerted my self at work today is all." Adagio weakly replied as she attempted to stand back-up and immediately feeling a sharp pain in her core as she turned around to the sink and opened her mouth, her sisters hearing a rather disturbing gaging sound and then what sounded as a clump of something had landed in the sink.

"Oh, gross, she puked!" Aria screeched.

"Dagi!?" Sonata whined as she worridly ran towards her sister.

"I, i'm fine." Adagio stated as she turned around, blood on both sides of her mouth.

"Geez, did you literally puke out your guts, you've got blood all over your face!" Aria shouted.

"I, I wha?" Adagio asked confused as she touched her hand to her lips and felt the sticky substance, looking at her fingers to see Aria had been right. "oh, oh my." She weakly rasped before fainting and falling to the floor.

"Adagio, hey, this, this isn't funny, wake-up!" Aria angrily huffed as she bent down towards her sister.

"Dagi! Dagi!?" Sonata cried as she aslo tried to wake-up her sister to no avail.

Aria put her ear-up to Adagio's chest and listened. "Oh thank Neptune" she sighed in relief.

"She, she's not....." Sonata nervously asked.

"No, looks like she's still alive." Aria reassured her sister. "It was faint, but I could hear a heart beat, c'mon, help me get her into bed." Aria told Sonata as the two tried their best to pick-up their sister and move her to their bed.

The two sirens just stood there over Adagio's unconscious form and looked at each other with worry and uncertainty in their eyes.

"wh, whadda we do now Ari!?" Sonata asked, tears rolling from her eyes.

"Dunno Sis, but whatever we do, we better decide fast, because something tells me, whatever this is, it isn't good." Aria gulped staring down at their unconscious leader.

Oh my, puking blood, that isn't good. Don't worry Adagio, i'm sure your sisters will find a way to help you....somehow.

Chapter 1: Pride Or Life? Which Matters More To You!?

The two siren sisters huffed as they pushed an unconscious Adagio Dazzle down the street in a wheelchair they had borrowed from the downtown hospital.

"ugg, I can't believe you convinced me to agree to this." Aria huffed staring angry daggers at Sonata.

"What other choice do we have Aria!? They're the only ones with any magical powers in this stupid dimension and they might know how to save Adagio!" Sonata replied. "She's our big sister and she's sick. We can't just leave her like this!" Sonata Cried.

"She's only the big sister by like three minutes" Aria scolwed

"Ugg, I can't believe you!" Sonata huffed.

"And I can't believe you!" Aria argued back pointing to the wheelchair thinking back to how they had acquired it.

"You said you needed a distraction!" Sonata growled

"Yea, but I meant like throw a rock at a window or something, not flash your tits at the security guards yea dingbat!" Aria growled back!

"Well it worked, didn't it!" Sonata huffed in reply.

Aria just rolled her eyes and let out an angry moan. Sometimes she wondered why she and Adagio didn't just drop Sonata off at an asylum and be done with it. Then again as much as she hated to admit it the dingbat was useful, sometimes. Aria was quickly brought out of her thoughts however as she heard Sonata happily cheer "We're here!"

Aria looked up and saw that the trio had indeed arrived at Canterlot High, the school campus brightly lit the shrubberies and lawn freshly trimmed and cut, the cold breeze making the trees shake in the wind and a large shadow emanating from the giant horse statue in the center.

"OK" Aria sighed as she pushed the wheelchair up to the front steps. "I'll break in and get Sunset's file so we can figure out where that stupid unicorn girl lives, you stay out here with Adagio, make sure she doesn't get worse" Aria seriously stated as she once again gave Sonata a death glare.

"Got it Ari, i'll stay right here and keep Dagi company!" Sonata happily replied as she tightened the hood of Adagio's hoodie and straightened the blanket the two had wrapped around her. Aria just rolled her eyes as she went to work on unlocking the front doors.

Inside the darkened halls of Canterlot High Aria walked as slowly and quietly as she could. Given how late in the night it was she doubted anyone else would be roaming the halls, even the school janitor would have gone home by now, but she didn't want to take any unnecessary risks. As she slowly tip-toed through the building memories of her and her sister's short time here came flooding back. She remembered how much fun it had been to cause disharmony amoungst these puny humans, how powerful it had made her and her sisters feel for the first time after being banished from Equestria by that idiot Starswirl and his friends, banished from their own world just for doing what they had needed to do to survive, flung through time and space itself and dropped in some podunk dimension that didn't have nearly as much active magic. "If we ever find a way back to our world i'm gonna rip Starswirl's beard off and shove it down his stupid throat!" Adagio muttered to herself as she continued her trek through the school, eventually ending up where she needed to be.

Aria looked up at the door that read Offices of Celestia-Principal & Luna-Vice Principal. "Found yea" She chuckled as she removed a hairpin and paper clip from her pocket, fashioning the devices into a rudimentary lock pick, after a couple minutes fiddling with the door knob finally getting it to unlock.

Aria let out a low chuckle as she took delight in how easy it was to break into the room. "You would think these idiots would spring for a security system" She chuckled under her breath as she looked forward to see where to go next. There in the lobby she looked around and saw the two doors, the one on the left obviously being Celestia's as it had a picture of her insignia or as they were known back in the Siren's home world "Cutie Mark" on the door, the one on the right having Luna's, and wait, was there still light coming from Luna's office!?

Curiously Aria slowly moved towards the door as she crouched down and peeked in. Inside the room she saw the schools vice principal, sitting at her computer, eating a bag of chips, drinking a soda, and....wait, was she, was she playing video games!?

"Ha ha, take that naive!" Luna shouted at the computer screen as she rapidly pushed the buttons on her controller.

"What the heck!?" Aria unintentionally shouted. Vice Principle Luna looking over the direction of her office door as Aria ducked and slowly crawled to hide behind the couch in the waiting room.

Vice Principle Luna slowly opened her office door and looked around, only to find an empty room. "hmm, I could have sworn I heard a voice." Luna pondered scratching her chin. "Perhaps sister was right about these late night gaming sessions not being good for my health." She chuckled "Your hearing phantoms again Luna."

Aria breathed a sigh of relief as she waited a minute or two for the Vice Principle to get back to her game before sneaking across to Celesita's office, repeating her lock picking trick, though this time being sure to be even more quite then before.

Once inside Principle Celestia's office Aria looked around to see if she would be able to get what she needed. On the walls were pictures of Celestia with her sister Luna doing various activities such as camping, Barbecuing, Fishing, and relaxing on the beach. "Man these two get along so well it's kinda disgusting." Aria gagged. as she continued to look around the room. To the left was a row of filing cabinets, with more pictures on top, these ones of students. Aria looked at the photos. The left most one being a picture of that idiot Flash Sentry and his friends, next to that one of Rainbow Dash and her soccer team The Wonderbolts, the right most corner Vinyl Scrath DJing a party and in the middle a picture of Sunset and the other Rainbooms smiling as they performed at some concert. "You're all on my shit list" Aria angrily huffed as she slowly walked forward, taking her flashlight out of her hoodie and shining it on the cabinets below. "OK, lets see, looks like they are categorized A-Z, hmm, so I just need to find S and...viola!" Aria smiled as she found the cabinet with a S on the front. Aria quickly unlocked the over-glorified paper storage box and fingered through the files until she found the one she needed. "Ahh, there you are Sunset Shimmer, now let's see where you live!" Aria happily and maniacally chuckled. Suddenly however Aria heard a door slam shut and heard footsteps moving towards Celestia's office. "ah fu...." Aria gulped.

"Fun right!?" Sonata asked the unconscious Adagio. "OK maybe waiting outside a school at like one thirty in the morning isn't the most fun thing to do." She chuckled "But hey, could be worse, at least we're not being chased by some scary night lady or something." Sonata chuckled again. Just then the front doors of the school slammed open, Aria holding a file in her hands and running as fast as she could.

"Oh Hi Ari!" Sonata greeted as Aria ran right past her.

"Book it you moron!" Aria screamed as she looked back at Sonata.

"Book what?" Sonata asked.

"All of you stop right there, you're in big trouble!" Sonata heard a booming voice shout as she looked back and saw a rather angry and intimidating Vice Principle Luna. "Eeyipes!" Sonata Squeaked as she grabbed Adagio's wheelchair and began to run to catch up with Aria and get far away from the scary night lady as possible.

"Get back here! don't think this deed shall go unpunished whomever you are, I shall find ye and punish thee severely for ye's impertinence!" Luna screamed into the night as nearby owls and raccoons looked up to stare at the woman as if she were completely crazy.

Sunset Shimmer was asleep, or at least she had been, she heard a ringing that she couldn't quite place as she slowly opened her eyes, the darkness all around her. She blinked to try to get her sleepy sight into focus and clapped her hands to get the automatic lights in her loft to come on. "Oh, what is that?" She yawned as she looked at the digital clock on her night stand seeing that it was only around two in the morning. Hearing the dinging sound once again and realizing it was the buzzer at the front of her loft. "Who would be coming to see me at this ungodly hour?" She asked herself as she put on her slippers and slowly walked down the stairs to her front door to get out into the hall and open the front door to the building.

Sunset yawned as she opened the front door. "Pinkie if this is about the new Mareformers movie I already told you and Rainbow I don't wanna go." She chuckled as she finished opening the door only to find it was not her friend, but a familiar face none the less. Sunset jumped back a bit as she saw Sonata standing in the doorway smiling.

"S, Sonata!?" Sunset stuttered. "What the hay are you doing here, at my house, at two in the morning!?" Sunset asked both afraid and confused.

"Well, yea see, Adagio got really really sick and we aren't sure but we think she might be dying or something, and I know we're supposed to be like enemies and all, but maybe you could, just, I dunno, help us, please!?" Sonata hurriedly rambled as she moved aside to let Sunset see Aria at the bottom of the front door steps holding Adagio's wheelchair, the leader of the sirens unconscious and bundled-up.

Sunset just gulped. This was going to be a long night.

Author's Notes:

Well, seems like Aria and Sonata are making quite the mess of things already. And poor Sunset, I doubt she ever thought she'd see these three again. Well i'm sure everything will work out in the end.

Next time: Sonata conveniences Sunset and The Rainbooms to help by telling them the sirens super sad origin story, like from birth up to banishing orgin, not that lie ponies tell about her and her sisters being monsters!

Chapter 2: A Story Told; The Secret History of The Sirens!?

Rainbow Dash yawned as she stretched to get the crick out of her neck. Looking around Sunset's loft at the rest of her friends who were also quite exhausted, confused and a bit mad at their friend for waking them up at such an hour.

"So, let me get this straight" Rainbow huffed. "You call us in a panic in the middle of the night telling us to come over, on a school night so we can find a way to help them!?" Rainbow scowled pointing at The Dazzlings.

"Well, ah it seemed like the right thing to do at the time " Sunset blushed.

"That may be darling, but it is rather impolite to interrupt one's beauty sleep" Rarity rebutted.

"But, if someone needs our help we should help them shouldn't we. I mean, we were given magical powers for a reason, right?" Fluttershy shyly asked.

"Indeedly doo" Pinkie happily agreed. "The universe didn't make us magical pony girl heroes for nothing!" She chuckled

"Well ah ain't helpin some dog garn sirens that tried ta over the entire world with their musical magical mumbo jumbo!" Applejack stubbornly replied. "Once a villain always a villain" She huffed.

"Gee, thanks" Sunset and Twilight sarcastically replied.

"Ya'll know what ah mean" AJ blushed "Sides, y'all weren't ever really evil, just....misguided" The farmgirl attempted to argue.

All of a sudden the group heard a loud voice interrupt with a very angry "JUST SHUT UP!" The Rainbooms looking over at The Dazzlings seeing a very suprised Aria and a very angry Sonata, tears rolling down her eyes.

"You have no right" She sobbed. "You don't even know anything about us. You don't have any right to call us evil or monsters or anything. You don't know anything we've been through." Sonata cried. The group now looking at her feeling regret for her words, Sunset slowly walking over to Sonata. "Then show us." Sunset softly replied as she gently laid her hand on Sonata's shoulder.

"Huh?" Sonata asked wiping the tears from her eyes.

"My powers are emphatic. I can hear other's thoughts and emotions" Sunset told the sorrowful siren. "If I combine my powers with Twilight's more generalized magic powers, we might be able to all see them. Here Twilight, take my hand." Sunset kindly asked her adorkable friend.

"OK" Twilight replied as she blushed slowly taking Sunset's hand. "What now?" Sunset just looked over at her friends. "OK AJ you take Twy's hand, then Dash you take AJ's and so on until we are all interlocked. "And you Sonata" Sunset softly spoke looking at the uncertain girl "Think back as far as you can, show us everything, show us who The Dazzlings really are." Sunset softly smiled.

"um, ok, I, i'll try" She stuttered as she felt Aria grab her other hand, doing her best to focus and think as far back as she could.

Ancient Equestria; Deep Below The Eastern Sea

"Bouncy, check. Thickness check, light refraction, check." A voice sang as its owner marked off the tallies on her checklist, not noticing the rather large shadow sneaking up behind her.

"Good morning Coral, how goes the inspection of the protective veil." a deep voice asked.

quickly the small seapony turned around to see the large bronze male siren floating above her. "Oh, ahh, good morning King Crescendo" She greeted with a bow "E, everything seems to be in order, I have yet to detect any weaknesses in the field around the Kingdom of Fantasia ." She happily replied.

"Good to hear" The king smiled "I have felt a change in the waters as of late and I fear that we may soon see a rise in darkness that could threaten both land and sea." The king seriously replied.

"No offense my king, but i sincerely hope that you are wrong" Coral stuttered "Though you are probably not" she sighed as she thought back to the day she and her fellow Seaponies had been attacked by a group of terrifying creatures while attempting to travel to a summit held by King Leo and his northern tribe, if it weren't for the Siren's patrol finding her she would have most likely shared the same fate as the rest of her pod.

The king of the sirens looked down at the sad seapony "if its any consultation I too hope that I am mistaken. Very soon my wife and I will be parents, and I would hope the seas and this kingdom remain safe for my children when they come" he smiled.

Before Coral could reply however they heard a low bellowing voice from behind and turned around to see what was the matter. Swimming and huffing towards them was a rather short and stout dark brown male siren, obviously quite out of shape but doing his best to get to the king and Coral as fast as he could none the less.

"Hellow Hummer" Coral chuckled as the chubby siren approached the two.

"Oh, ah, Hello Coral" Hummer blushed back at the rather adorable seapony.

"Yes, Good morning Hummer my old friend, how may I help you?" The king chuckled in kind.

"Oh, ah yes, sorry about that" Hummer nervously replied as he cleared his throat. "Your wife Queen Andante sent me to come find you. She says it's time my liege, the babes, they are coming, the nursemaid is helping her give birth to them as we speak!" Hummer excitedly replied.

"What, but, how, last night the doctor's said we had at least three more days!" The king exclaimed in surprise

"Well obviously the babes didn't get the memo" Hummer chortled in reply.

"I, I must go" The king replied. "Hummer, you stay here with Coral and help her finish the inspection of the veil." He commanded.

"T'would be my pleasure your majesty" Hummer replied as he looked at Coral giving her a playful wink, the young Seapony just hiding her face behind her mane with a blush.

"Push now deary, push!" The nursemaid ordered.

"uuuhhggg, what do you think i'm doing!?" Queen Andante moaned.

"Almost there, almost there" The nursmaid reassured the queen. All of a sudden the doors to the bed chambers slamming open as the king swam in. "Am I too late!?" He nervously asked in a huff, obviously quite winded.

"Not at all my King" The nursemaid chuckled. "infact I would say you are right on time" She smiled as she turned around and in her hooves a tiny glowing yellow siren pup was crying. "Ahh, she's beautiful!" The King exclaimed taking the newborn from nurse.

"sh, show her to me" The Queen begged as her husband swam up to his increasingly exhausted wife. "What shall we name her?" The king asked. The Queen just smiling and simply replied "Adagio" before she went back to moaning in pain.

"hehe, looks like the other two are ready ta come out as well." The nursemaid chuckled as she went back to work.

Roughly three minutes later the king held yet two more newborns in his hooves as the queen held tight to the Newborn Adagio. "So my Queen, what names shall be deemed worthy of these two beauties" King Crescendo chuckled as he slowly lowered them into his wives loving embrace. Queen Crescendo looked at the two, one so small and purple making noises that sounded more like growls then cries, the other already asleep, but chuckling instead of snoring. "You my little one shall be Aria" she smiled looking down at the purple siren pup. "And you my little dreamer shall be Sonata" she chuckled as she watched the small blue newborn sleep.

"Adagio, Aria & Sonata" music to my ears the king replied.

"indeed" The Queen replied. "From now on they shall be our songs, our light, our little Dazzlings" The queen smiled before exhaustion overtook her and she drifted off to sleep.

Six Years Later

"G, give it back!" Aria huffed as she swam towards the much larger male siren.

"No way!" The young male teased as he threw the stuffed animal over the female siren pup's head over to his friend.

"This isn't funny! " Aria pouted. "Give me back my dolly right now or i'll tell my daddy on you!" Aria cried.

"Oh, i'm soo scared!" The bully replied as he made a mocking face of fear before breaking into laughter.

"Yea, everyone knows your dad is a big softy, whats he gonna do, make us sit in a corner?" The other siren mockingly laughed.

"Knock it of Allegro" the group heard a voice respond. Aria and the two bullies looking back to see a rather perturbed Adagio

"Ah, c'mon Adagio, don't be that way, we were just having a little fun." Allegro smiled. "Right Molto" He nervously stated looking over at his friend. "Yea, just messing around a bit is all" Molto agreed.

"Well playtimes over" Adagio angrily huffed. "Now give my sister back her stuffed squid or you'll have to answer to me!" Adagio growled.

Allegro just gulped as he motioned for Molto to give Aria back the doll and the two quickly swam off, Aria grabbing her squid plush before it hit the sand below.

"Thanks Adagio" Aria smiled. "I wish those guys were as scared of me as they are of you" she chuckled.

"They could be if you and Sonata didn't act like babies all the time." Adagio chuckled as she ruffled her sister's fins.

"We are not babies!" Aria pouted as puffed up her cheeks.

"Well then show them that, don't let them get under your fins" Adagio replied. "You have to show them you're tough, puff out your chest and growl next time they come by, show them you're the dominant one and you bet they'll leave you alone." Adagio replied. "I know how strong you are Aria, you just gotta show everybody else" Adagio finished with a wink.

"OK sis, i'll try." Aria blushed as she tightly squeezed her plush squid against her chest.

"Now then, where did Sonata swim off to I wonder?" Adagio asked as she looked around the park.

"Oh I know Mr. Crab, I don't know how eels do that electric shockey thing either!" Sonata chuckled as she lie on the sand next to the seaweed fields talking to a rather friendly hermit crab .

"There you are, I swear out of the three of you younglings you are by far the most troublesome to keep-up with!" Coral huffed as she looked down at the young siren.

"I'm sorry Nana Coral, it's just, the park is so boring and all my fishy friends live here in the sea weed fields!" Sonata replied with a smile.

"So the park with slides, swings and ample room to play is boring, but these poorly kept sea weed fields full of small fish and crabs are entertaining to you?" Coral huffed.

"Uh huh" Sonata smiled.

Coral just moaned "I swear Princess Sonata, sometimes I wonder if Neptune remembered to put a brain inside that head of yours" she huffed.

"I've asked myself the exact same question" Adagio chuckled as she and Aria swam up to the two.

"Ahh, Princess Adagio, Princess Aria, my apologies for leaving you at the playground unattended, I had noticed Sonata had swam off again and I merely wished to locate her before she got herself into any trouble" Coral explained with a bow.

"Ahh, it s'all good Nana Coral" Aria chuckled "We know Sonata can be a handful."

"Hey, that's not true" Sonata pouted "I don't even have hands!" she exclaimed showing her hooves to the group.

"Its just an expression dummy" Aria replied sticking out her tounge.

"Hey, don't call me a dummy, dummy." Sonata pouted as she too stuck her tongue out at her sister

"OK young ones, that will be enough of that." Coral chuckled as she swam between the two. "Now let us get back to the castle and..." All of a sudden Coral stopped and wrapped her hooves around her abdomen.

"Are you ok Coral?" Adagio asked, concern evident in her voice.

"Yes, I, I am fine Princess" The seapony lied. "I, I think I just ate something that didn't quite agree with me this morning." she huffed.

"haha, gross" Sonata chuckled.

"Anyway, lets get you girls back to the palace, I am sure your parents will be worried if we stay out too long" The seapony stated as she motioned for them to follow her back to the palace.

Later back at the palace the three sisters played as Coral set in her favorite chair and watched them swim around.

"Hey Coral, how yea doin?" a familiar voice asked from behind. Coral looked around to see her friend Hummer beside the chair. "Hello Hummer" she softly smiled. "I am fine I supposed" She sighed. "whadda yea mean suppose?" Hummer asked in reply. Coral simply looked at her friend and sighed.

"Truthfully I have not been feeling well of late, I know not if it is due to the eastern seas being far cooler then the western waters I was raised in or the fish and seaweed we graze upon being of a more exotic variety than that I grew up with, but I feel as if I am growing ever weaker with each passing day." Coral sorrowfully sighed.

"Have yea told the King n Queen bout this?" Hummer asked rather concerned. "No, and I would ask you not either" she begged. "The King and Queen have already done so much for me as is, and being responsible for the young Dazzlings care brings such joy to my heart." she smiled. "After I lost my pod to those monsters all those years ago I feared I would never know happiness again, but being able to care for the younglings has given my life meaning again, so please Hummer, don't give them or their parents cause for worry, I am sure this will pass, in time." Coral weakly replied.

"OK, if that's what you want" Hummer sighed "But I really don't think its the smart thing to do" He stated as he softly set his hoof on his friends shoulder.

"Probably not, but then again, when have I ever been known to do the smart thing" Coral chuckled.

Seven Years Later

"Oh I can't believe it, my babies are growing-up so fast." Queen Adadante sobbed as she embraced her children.

"Mom, stop. This is embarrassing!" Aria complained as their mother hugged them ever tighter.

"I dunno, I kinda like mom's hugs" Sonata chuckled.

"Really mom it's no big deal, every siren goes through the gem bonding ceremony when they turn thirteen" Adagio stated.

"Oh, I know" Queen Andante replied as she wipped the tears from her eyes pointing at her own bright silver gem in her chest. "It's just that a parent is never prepared for such things, next thing you know you three will be all grown up and ruling the kingdom" She sang as she began to cry again.

"Don't get ahead of yourself there honey." a booming voice proclaimed.

"Dad!' The siren sisters cheered as they swam-up to their father. "Hello my little ones. Are you all ready for the gem bonding ceremony tonight?" Their father asked.

"Indeed" Adagio replied

"pfft, I guess" Aria added

"Indeedy doo" Sonata chuckled. "But Daddy, why do sirens put gems in their chest anyway?" Sonata asked.

"Oh c'mon, we learned this back in like, preschool yea moron!" Aria scowled. Adagio just rolling her eyes and quietly laughing "You act as if Sonata actually ever pays attention at school."

The king just looked down at his daughter "Well Sonata, a long time ago, before the kingdom of Fantasia was founded by your Great Great Grandfather Ossia, Sirens traveled and hunted in packs, as wolves do on the land." The king explained. "But the sirens did not always have the same physical strength as other creatures in the seas that could be a threat to their saftey. One day Ossia discovered a cavern full of beautiful and powerful magical stones. He was the first to bond with them, and in doing so he gained great power in which he used to defend his pack from the other predators in the seas." The King explained.

"How'd he do that?" Sonata asked curiosity abound in her eyes.

"Well you see my dear, the gemstone allowed Ossia to absorb the magical energies of creatures around him. He was able to take the strength of others and make it his own. Eventually he shared the magic gems with his entire pack and with his power he created the song of the sea which he used to defend all those who followed him. Eventually all sirens united under your Grandfather and with their help he built the kingdom of Fantasia in which we now live in peace. Neptune himself protecting us" The King smiled looking out the window at the garden below motioning for his children to follow.

"You see the Trident out in the center of the Garden Sonata" He asked the curious young siren.

"Yea, what about it?" she asked.

"That Trident was a gift that Neptune, the lord of the seas himself gave to your father for uniting the sirens, with its powers we are protected from any outside threats as long as the veil, the force field it creates remains strong.

"Whaa, neat!" Sonata exclaimed.

"Yes, quite neat indeed" The king chuckled.

"OK, enough of story time" Queen Adadante interrupted. "We still have a lot of work to do before they are ready for the ceremony" She exclaimed.

"OK dear, i'll leave you to it." The King replied as slowly left the room.

"I still don't see why we need magic absorbing amulets if we're safe here" Sonata exclaimed. Aria just rolled her eyes "Its a coming of age thing, just deal with it" She huffed.

"Aria's right" Adagio agreed. "Its all pomp and circumstance at this point, and hey, a gem will just make me shine even brighter" Adagio sneered as she made a sexy pose. Her mother just chuckling as her sisters rolled their eyes and huffed.

Hummer nervously swam around the room as he looked down at the bedridden coral. "Oh, my precious Coral, why, why won't you let anyone help you!?" He asked down at the sleeping seapony mare. Over the years his loves condition had only gotten worse and worse until she even had to stop working at the palace. Hummer did the best he could to help her out, but it seemed her sickness, whatever it was was quickly getting the best of her. "Oh, I would do anything to save you dear Coral, anything, if I only knew how." He sobbed.

"Anything?" A mysterious voice asked. Hummer looked around the room and saw nothing, though he could sense something, some unseen presence, slowly trying to pry its way into his mind. "Who's there!?" He shouted into the shadows. The voice just laughing in kind.

"You need not fear me little Siren, I am only here to help." The voice replied.

"And how do you plan on doing that?" Hummer asked the mysterious phantom voice.

"I can offer you the thing you want most. I can heal your sick love." The voice deviously stated.

"And why should I believe you?" Hummer replied.

"Because you know as well as I do she's running out of time. If you want her to to remain among the living you'll do as I say. But if you are fine with the seapony leaving this world for the next, I guess there's nothing I can do about that" The voice taunted.

Hummer just looked down at coral. The once lively and vibrant seapony mare now reduced to a mere husk of herself, her once bright blue fins now dull and gray, her skin covered with brown spots against her light tan flesh. Hummer just gulped and sighed. "OK, if you can save her i'll help you, just, tell me, what is it you need!?" he asked the disembodied voice as dark laughter slowly engulfed the room.

"OK girls, it's time. Are you ready!?" Adagio asked her sisters as they waited behind the curtain to go on stage. "Pfft, whatever" Aria replied. "Yea i'm super excited to get my gem and then perform the song of the sea infront of everbody! Oh I hope Mr. Crab is there, he loves music!" Sonata chuckled.

"OK little ones, it's time." They heard their mothers voice happily exclaim as she peaked back behind the curtain and motioned for them to come forward, the three slowly peering through the curtain and seeing all the citizens of Fantasia gathered in the royal garden waiting for the ceremony to begin. "well girls, time to put on a show" Adagio confidently smiled.

"And it is on this day, the evening of my daughters your precious princesses thirteenth birthday's that we present them with these gems" King Crescendo proudly exclaimed as he used his own magic to levitate the ruby red gemstones in front of his daughters slowly centering them as the three swam-up and a bright light surrounded the sisters, the three closing their eyes only to open them as the light faded and they saw the gemstones were now firmly embedded within the center of their being, the crowd cheering as the three princesses bowed and began to sing their happy song.

Hummer tried his best to remain inconspicuous. He knew most everyone would be distracted by the Gem Bonding Ceremony, but their would still be guards patrolling the palace. So he just slowly and cautiously swam through the grounds doing his best to stay on guard and avoid the evening patrols. "I can't believe I let some disembodied voice talk me into this" he quietly huffed. "But if, if it really is the only way to save her I guess I don't have much of a choice." He convinced himself as he slowly moved forward towards his desired destination.

The three sisters finished their song as the garden filled with applause as they took their bow at the standing ovation. All of a sudden though the cheers soon turned silent and panicked whispers began. The Dazzlings merely looked at the crowd which was looking up in a panic, curious they too looked up and were shocked at what they saw. The veil, the magical field that protected the kingdom was disheartening, its warm pink and purple light slowly dissipating as if something had blown a fuse. "This, this can't be happening!" The King exclaimed in disbelief as he watched the magical field weaken before his eyes. "Adadante, get our daughters and as many civilians as you can inside the palace!" The king shouted at his wife. the Queen merely nodding in reply as she grabbed her daughters and swam towards the palace, the nervous citizens following behind.

"Guards, warriors, the rest of you with me! " He shouted as dozens of armored sirens joined him at his side.

Hummer just looked on as he watched the kingdoms protective veil slowly disappear. "OK, I kept up my end of the bargain, now you better come through with yours" Hummer whispered into the shadows.

"Hummer, what have you done!?" The King's voice boomed from behind. As he saw his old friend just floating in front of where the magical trident had once stood, now it just set on the ground shattered into pieces. "Why!?" The king asked looking at his old friend.

"I'm sorry, truly I am, but, it was, it was the only way ta save her" Hummer sobbed. "He said it was the only way"

"Who?" The king asked. His question answered with a maniacal laughter that resonated through the entire kingdom as a dark ink appeared above. "Why me of course" An evil voice boomed. Slowly a giant beast descended upon the kingdom, it's head that of a Serpents, with rows of fangs, its body that of some unknown beast but it was full of scars and scabs and quite muscular and its claws large and long fierce as any beast from the monster lands and its lower half comprised of dozens of tentacles.

"Who, or what may I ask?" Are you the king barked in anger.

The beast chuckled "I have gone by many names, in many worlds, but I think my favorite is...Kraken." It chuckled down at the king.

"By Neptune's beard, it cannot be!" The king stuttered.

"Oh, but it is" The beast chortled.

"It matters not what you claim to be!" The king boldly stated. For you are but one beast, and we are hundreds!" He proudly proclaimed as his soldiers stood at the ready.

"Well, who said I came alone?" The Kraken deviously chuckled as more beasts began to swim out of the blackness and into view. Plesiosaur, Megaladons and countless other creatures long believed to be extinct in this and other worlds came swarming in at the Kraken's side. The King just staring up in fear.

"Mom, wha, whats going on!?" Sonata nervously asked the queen.

"Yea, what the heck is wrong with the veil!?"Aria chimed in rather concerned.

"I'm sure whatever it is father will handle it" Adagio replied looking at her mother who seemed quite nervous.

"your sister is right girls" The Queen tried to reassure them. "I am sure everything will be fine" She nervously stuttered as she looked around the room at the frightened citizens. All of a sudden the front doors of the palace slammed open and a bruised and bloodied king swam in.

"Crescendo my love, what happened!?" Queen Andante shouted as she ran towards her injured husband.

"Great beasts, monsters from ancient times, they cannot be allowed to steal our powers, they must be destroyed, we, we must use the grave protocol." The king huffed.

The Queen's eyes grew wide. "but, but, what of our children, they just received their gems, we, we can't let them..." The Queen sobbed.

"They will live, I will make sure of it." The King huffed as he got back up and swam towards his children, the Queen following behind.

"Dad, whats going on?" Sonata nervously asked

"Mother, Father?" Adagio added her eyes confused and pleading.

"This is so not cool" Aria nervously added

The Queen just looked down at her children and sobbed. "Promise me that you'll always be there for each other, that you'll look out for each other." she begged the children.

"Mother?" Adagio asked rather confused

"PROMISE ME!" The Queen shouted.

"I, I promise." Adagio nervously replied

"Good" The Queen smiled as she turned back and swam back to the front of the room waiting by the door.

The three sisters just looked at their father, still recovering from his injuries as he pulled his gem from his chest, causing the three to gasp. He just looked at them and smiled as he threw it up in the air and it created a force field around the three.

"Hey, what's going on!? what the heck is this!?" Aria angrily huffed as she slammed her fin against the field.

"D, daddy!?" Sonata nervously sobbed.

Their father however just smiled at them as he too swam towards the door. Quickly Adagio grabbed her sisters and held them tight in the center of the field as they could feel the room around them shake as the Kraken and his forces had made it through. Just as the beast broke down the door the Queens Gem began to shine as did all the other Sirens in the room. The Kraken just howled as he, his minions and everything was engulfed in a blinding white light. The Dazzlings just closed their eyes and prepared for the worst.

Silence, nothing but silence. The three sisters opened their eyes and looked around. What had once been the entrance to the palace was now nothing, all around them nothing but open water, no castle, no kingdom, no sirens, and thankfully no monsters.

"It, its....gone, its, all just....gone." Sonata starred out into the open ocean in disbelief.

"What the heck!?" Aria angrily growled in confusion.

Adagio just looked at her sisters, as she was at a lost for words, still not able to full process what she was, or in this case wasn't seeing. Suddenly she felt tears roll down her eyes and she heard her sisters begin to sob as well as she went to embrace them. "ssh, ssh, it's ok, its ok." She tried to reassure her siblings.

"wha, what now?" Sobbed Sonata.

"I don't know" Adagio replied. "But no matter what happens, I promise you i'll always be here to protect you." the golden siren sister stated as she clung to her sisters even more tightly then before.

Five Years Later

Well Stygian old boy, I dare say you have made off with a pretty good haul today!" The earth pony stallion chuckled as he walked down the beach smiling as he stared at the bucket of seashells he had acquired after a hard days work of digging in the sand.

"Oh, what have you got there little one?" Stygian heard a voice sing as he looked up and saw three rather large yet beautiful creatures sitting up on the rocks of the shallows as the ocean waves crashed against them.

"I, I ah, who, wha...what are you!? The Earth pony asked rather surprised.

The giant golden pony like serpent just bent down and smiled. "I'm Adagio, these are my sisters Aria and Sonata, we're sirens, traveling performers you see." Adagio smiled. " There wouldn't happen to be a town around here would there?" She asked with a devious smile.

"Oh why yes" Stygian replied. "infact my home Hollow Shades is just over that hill." He smiled.

"Excellent, sisters looks like we'll be in for a feast tonight." She smiled looking back at Aria and Sonata

"A feast?" Stygian asked rather confused.

"A feast for the ears of course I mean" Adagio grinned "I'm sure the ponies of your village will love our songs.

Stygian just looked at the Sirens, he wasn't sure of it, but he had a feeling they were up to something, then again, his mother had always told him to be nice to traveling minstrels, and really how much trouble could these sirens be, after all they didn't seem to have any weapons on them, and if they were as good of singers as they claimed, surely the people of Hollow Shades would enjoy a good show.

"OK, come with me." Stygian smiled as he held out his hoof in friendship. The three Dazzlings just smiling deviously as they were amazed someone had finally fallen for their con.

The Human World- Now

And you pretty much know the rest." Sonata chuckled. "My sisters and I tried to absorb the ponies of Hollow Shades magic and that tattle tell Stygian got Starswirl and his friends to attack us and we ended up getting thrown in a portal hurled through time and space where we ended up here and, well you know....tried to absorb all the Equestrian magic at your school." Sonata blushed.

The Rainbooms just stared at one another, they didn't know what to think. The story, save for the end hadn't been anything that they had expected and they didn't know how to react.

"So, you'll, you'll help us, right?" Sonata anxiously asked the group.

"Listen, Sonata" AJ started "I'm real sorry about what happened ta yer parents and yer home and all, but..."

"It still doesn't explain why you attacked our school, or that village back in your home world" Rainbow interrupted.

"We, we just wanted the magic." Sonata replied as she curled down and held her arms tightly against her breasts. "If we had magic we had power, then that way no one would be able to hurt us, we'd be safe." She nervously replied. "But none of that matters now, we don't have our gems, we don't have any magic, no power to amplify our songs and Adagio....Adagio is..." Sonata began to sob.

"Hey, hey, its ok, listen, we'll help you, we'll find a cure for whatever is wrong for Adagio." Sunset replied as she bent down to comfort the siren.

"y, you will?" Sonata sniffled as she looked up at Sunset and Twilight.

"We will, I promise. We just, have to figure out where to start." Sunset replied looking over at Adagio unconscious on her couch. "I mean there's no problem magic can't solve...right!?" She nervously asked herself as she gulped uncertainty.

Well, that was a long story. You really gotta learn how to use cliff-notes Sonata.

Also for those wondering how Sonata could remember things she wasn't around to see, well I've always considered her to be the Dazzlings Pinkie & Fluttershy, so like Pinkie she can just do stuff like that. Call it Sonata sense or whatever.

Chapter 3: A Study of Magical Physiology

The morning sun shown brightly in the sky as the girls headed towards Canterlot High, still somewhat agitated the had to start their day on "less then half a tank" as Rainbow Dash had put it. Rarity sipping her coffee doing her best to stay awake and Applejack still looking rather grumpy, Fluttershy yawning as she stroked Angel Bunnie's forhead and Pinkie well, Pinkie was more or less her usual energetic self. Meanwhile Sunset and Twilight walked behind the group to get any additional information they could out of Aria and Sonata as the latter of the two pushed Adagio's wheelchair, the Dazzling's leader still out for the count.

"And she wasn't showing any prior signs of fatigue or illness?" Twilight asked

"Nope, she was just her usual self until last night" Sonata replied.

"really, not a single warning sign? She wasn't extra irritable or irrational or anything? " Sunset asked in surprise.

"No more then usual" Aria mischievously chuckled

"Hmm, interesting, an illness that strikes suddenly and leaves its victim unconscious. I can't say i've heard of many like that, let alone any cases of such here in Canterlot City, far off places like Saddle Arabia or Somnabula sure, but such a mysterious and fast acting sickness here, I never thought....." Twilight trailed off deep into her own thoughts.

Sonata just looked at the glasses wearing girl and made a nervous gulp.

"Hey, don't worry" Sunset reassured her. "We'll figure out what it is. I promise" She smiled at Sonata. "But first we need to get to school and explain the situation to Celestia and Luna." she stated.

"Do, do we have to?" Aria nervously asked the bacon haired teen.

"Well, yea, I kind of promised them i'd give them the heads up anytime there were some magical mishaps going on, after the Battle of The Bands and The Friendship games those two have gotten a bit weary of all this" Sunset chuckled.

"Well, ahh, OK" Aria nervously replied. "Then I-I guess you'll wanna give em this back." She gulped as she pulled Sunset's file out of her hoodie.

"What the, where, how?" Sunset asked surprised.

"Yea, I-I kind of broke into your school last night to steal your file so we could figure out where you lived, and I may have almost gotten caught by that Vice Principle Luna chick." Aria nervously half smiled.

"You did what!?" Sunset exclaimed in surprise.

"Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time, I mean, we had to find some way of tracking you down" Aria huffed

"You could have just used a phone book or googled it" Twilight responded

"Whatever" Aria angrily blushed.

Sunset just let out a small laugh and sighed. "OK, don't worry, I promise i'll get everything settled, you and Sonata just worry about taking care of Adagio while we figure this out."

"Sound good to me" Sonata smiled

"Whatever" Aria huffed.

The front of Canterlot High looked impressive as ever, the giant horse statue which contained the magical portal back to Equestria was still in pristine condition and the grass and plants on the ground still well kept. The building itself having gone through various repairs over the past year due to all the magical shenanigans Sunset and her friends had been inadvertently responsible for still stood proud and tall, the sun reflecting off the crystal clean windows and the light brown brick accenting the colorful window and door trim quite well. In the front of the school students walked and chatted as they got ready for their day. Flash Sentry could be seen strumming his guitar and Lyra and Bon-Bon were sneaking to the side of the school to get in some "playtime" before the first bell rang. Derpy was snacking on muffins as Octavia and Vinyl argued on the step behind her and Sandlewood and Treehugger were just sitting on the grass enjoying the nice sunny day.

"Well it looks at least everyone else is having a good day so far." Rarity chuckled as she finished up her coffee.

"Of course, any day i'm here is an awesome one!" Rainbow Dash egotistically chimed in.

"OK girls, enough joking around, we need to stay on task." Sunset reminded them. "Twilight and I will go talk to Principle Celestia and Luna and explain the situation. Aria you and Sonata take Adagio to the nurses office and wait for us there. The rest of you girls wait for us in the library, we have a long day of research ahead of us." Sunset stated.

"OK" The rest of the group moaned, the thought of having to spend the entire day pent up in the library not being the most appealing one.

"Don't worry girls" Sunset reassured them "We got this!"

"So, let me get this straight" Principle Celesta sighed in a rather serious and tired tone as she starred down at Sunset and Twilight. "The Dazzlings, the same group of girls that turned out to be magic absorbing sirens from your homeland Sunset are back in my school in my nurses office?" Celestia asked rather concerned.

"Um, yes." Sunset nervously replied

"And these same girls were the ones that broke into this school last night" Luna added in rather angrily.

"Um, yes" Sunset meeped. The two sisters looking quite angry at the young girl by this point.

"Um, Principle Celestia, Vice Principle Luna, if I may" Twilight interjected.

"Yes Twilight?" Celestia responded looking straight at the adorkable girl.

"Well, I know the situation doesn't sound ideal, but from what I can tell the Dazzlings really are in need of our help. Whatever powers they had, Sunset and the Twilight from the other world most deffinintly nullified it, or at least their ability to access it." Twilight muttered. "I don't think they will pose any threat to the school or its students" she added.

"That may be, but they're still criminals" Luna stated as she slammed Sunset's file on the desk.

Sunset just gulped and let out a deep sigh. "I know that breaking into the school was wrong, but, they just wanted to find a way to help their sister, and I don't really think they can afford cellphones. They had to find us somehow." Sunset explained.

"Even so, they must still be punished" Luna growled.

"Now now sister, its not like you were a saint yourself at their age" Celestia responded "Or did you forget that whole uber goth Nightmare Moon phase you had back in highschool" Celestia chuckled.

Luna just blushed, her face deep purple "You, you promised we would never speak of that again" She stuttered.

"Well then, it's settled" Celestia replied. "Sunset, we will leave this situation up to you and Twilight, and if things do turn out for the better we allow The Dazzlings to return to CHS proper, but you and the rest of The Rainbooms will be in charge of keeping them in line. We've all worked hard to make this school a better place and I would hate to see all of you and the other students hard work ruined." Celestia replied with concern.

"Thank you Principle Celestia, and don't worry, I promise we've got everything under control!" Sunset reassured her.

" I freaking hate this!" Aria angrily screeched as she punched a hole in the wall of the Nurse's office. The resident school Nurse Redheart having left the room long ago after Aria had threatened to rip her limb from limb if she even tried to touch their sister.

"She was just trying to help Aria!" Sonata huffed.

"And what kind of help could some stupid human nurse do anyway huh!?" Aria argued.

"I dunno, but you could have at least let her take Adagio's temperature, it wouldn't have hurt." Sonata angrily replied.

"You don't know that" Aria growled "It's bad enough we have to trust those Rainbow Retards with our sister's life, no way in Hades am I gonna trust some stupid human!" Aria scowled.

"Wow, you two like never stop arguing, do you." They heard a voice chime in. The two siren sisters turning around to see Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie.

"What are you doing here?" Aria asked, her voice still quite angry.

"Sunset told us to come keep an eye on you two, make sure you don't tear up the school or anything" Rainbow laughed pointing at the hole in the wall. "But looks like we got here a little late" She chuckled. Aria just crossing her arms and huffing.

"That and we both pretty much suck at studying so we wouldn't be much help to the rest of the girls in the library" Pinkie added in with a smile.

"Wow, so even your friends know you're morons" Aria laughed.

"Ari, be nice they're here to help us." Sonata whinned.

"Whatever, just keep your hands off Adagio and don't do anything to piss me off Rainbow Crash" Aria mockingly replied, Rainbow Dash just rolled her eyes and nodded "whatever" she mockingly replied back.

"pssst, I think this is gonna be a long day" Pinkie chuckled into Sonata's ear. Sonata nodding in agreement, for better or worse, she was probably right.

In the library the rainbooms looked through book after book, medical journal after medical journal, but it seemed their efforts so far were fruitless.

"Ugg, I don't get it, the answer has to be here somewhere doesn't it!? Books always have the answer to everything!" Twilight angrily huffed as she readjusted her glasses and stared even more intensely at her copy of "Mage Medowbrooks Guide to Hollistic 19th Century Medicine

"I'm sorry darling, but I guess this is the one time books just aren't enough." Rarity sighed as she put down the rather large medical journal she had been forced to search through.

"Ah ain't found nothin either" Applejack huffed as she slammed her book down on the table.

"um Angel says he hasn't seen anything, and I haven't either" Fluttershy apologetically chimed in.

"Hmm" Sunset sighed as she put down her own copy of Rare Nautical Diseases

"What is it Sunset?" Twilight asked both curious and frustrated.

"What if" Sunset paused. "What if this isn't a medical problem, but a magical one?" Sunset replied.

"How so darling?" Rarity asked.

"Well, I keep thinking back to Sonata's story, about how their caretaker Coral got sicker and sicker the longer she stayed in the Eastern Sea" Sunset told the group.

"So, that happened over a thousand years ago and in another dimension, what's that gotta do with the here and now?" AJ asked as she crossed her shoulders.

"Well if Coral got sick because she was out of her element too long, maybe its the same thing for The Dazzlings" Sunset replied.

"Come again?" Rarity asked rather confused.

"They may look like ordinary teenage girls, but like me they're really magical creatures." Sunset exclaimed. "I mean think about it, how often have you ever seen me sick?" Sunset asked the group. The other Rainbooms looking at one another in contimplation.

"Huh, now that I think about it, yea never have missed a day a school, heck and outsida Allergy season yea hardly ever make so much as a cough er sneeze" AJ replied.

"Exactly. My magic protects me from any ailments in this world that would be foreign to my physiology, my body was made to handle Equestrian contaminations, not ones from this world." Sunset replied.

"But then why aren't The Dazzlings magic doing the same for them?" Twilight wondered.

"I, I think it's our faults" Sunset sighed. "Well us and the other Twilight's" She quickly amended.

"And how do yea figure that?" AJ responded with an angry huff, not being the type that cared to be blamed for hurting another.

"When we defeated The Dazzlings at the Battle of The Bands our magic completely destroyed their original siren forms and their magical gemstones. Without those they don't have any conduits internal or external to help them contain magic." Sunset remorsefully replied.

"And if they aren't able to keep any magic inside of them they don't have any protection from the natural laws of our world, which means they are susceptible to disease, and being from another dimension entirely even the simplest germ or bacteria could potentially be....a death sentence." Twilight nervously gulped.

"So it's kinda like those aliens in War of The Worlds" AJ chimed in, the group staring at her in surprise. "What, Ah read fer fun from time ta time too." She blushed.

Sunset just cleared her throat and nodded. "More or less." she replied. "But we can't let them suffer the same fate as creatures from some old story" she added.

"Yes, but what can we do about it, it's not like we can just give them our magic darling." Rarity exclaimed.

"True, we can't do that, but....I think I have an idea." Sunset smiled.

"You want to do what!?" Aria shrieked.

"I need to take some blood and hair samples from Adagio and the rest of you so we can help find a cure and keep you and your sister from getting sick too." Sunset explained

"No way bacon butt!" Aria growled "You aren't putting a needle anywhere near Adagio or me, or airhead over there." Aria scowled pointing over at Sonata.

"Not even if it's the only way to save Adagio's life" Sunset calmly asked.

Aria just stood there in silence for a moment as she thought things over. "OK, but, just be quick about it. I don't like needles." She nervously huffed. "Or people pulling on my hair."

Sunset just calmly smiled. "Don't worry, this won't hurt much, I promise." She exclaimed as she and Twilight began taking their samples.

Later the group gathered at the magical portal at the front of the school.

"Huh, so that's the way back to Equestria" Aria asked, a devious grin on her face.

"Yes, but you probably wouldn't want to go through it." Sunset replied.

"And why not?" Aria growled.

"Well given your siren bodies were destroyed if you did follow me through you'd probably just turn into regular ponies, or maybe seaponies, but my bet is on the former" Sunset chuckled in reply.

"Ugg, being turned into a pony, now that's a fate worth then death" Aria shuddered.

"I dunno, I think we'd be cute ponies" Sonata chuckled. Aria just giving her a death-stare in reply.

"So, how do we know this will even work or you'll be able to find a cure in time?" Aria pessimistically asked.

"Well time flows a lot slower in this world then it does in Equestria" Sunset explained "So I can stay there for days working with Twilight to find a cure and it would only be hours here. Trust me, we'll have more then enough time." Sunset reassured them.

Sunset then looked back at her friends before going into the magical portal. "Fluttershy, you Rarity and AJ stay here by the portal. Dash, Pinkie, you follow Aria and Sonata back to the nurses office. And Twy..." Sunset paused as she put her shoulder on her friend. " I am 99% sure this will work, but just in case I would like to have all my bases covered, if you don't mind going back to the library, maybe see if we missed anything." She asked the glasses wearing girl.

Twilight just nodded "I'm on it. Best of luck Sunny, and tell the other me she better not mess this up, cause I know I won't" She replied as she hugged her friend. Sunset returning the embrace before letting go and turning around to enter the magical portal back to her homeland of Equestria.

"Oh, I hope everything works out ok" Fluttershy nervously gulped.

"Don't worry, if anyone can help Sunset find a cure i'm sure Princess Twilight and Starlight are just the people, er ponies to do so." Rarity smiled back at the concerned Fluttershy.

"Humph, They better be." Aria growled as she and Sonata headed back to the nurse's office. Rainbow and Pinkie following close behind.

Welp, finally got another chapter out, yay!

Man Aria is one grumpy gal! Given the circumstances though I guess its understandable.

Oh well i'm sure Sunset will be able to find a cure in no time with Princess Twilight & Starlight's help. Though I guess they still have to worry about keeping Aria's Temper under control so she doesn't destroy the entire school before Sunset gets back.

Next time, magical science stuff with a bunch of nerdy pones concocting a brand new kind of potion and Aria argues with pretty much everybody, because of course she does!

Chapter 4: Plans, Potions And Panic!

The bright rainbow vortex swirled around Sunset Shimmer as the powerful and ancient magic of the mirror transported her back to her old home of Equestria. When she finally regained her stability she found she had successfully made it through the portal. Sunset shook her head and did her best to get her bearings. Traveling through the mirror always left her with an odd tingling sensation, and she had to admit despite being born a pony it always felt weird to have hooves again instead of hands. Sunset looked around the room and found it rather empty.

"Huh, that's odd" she said to herself as she heard the doors open. She turned towards the doors expecting to see Starlight or Twilight but instead saw a rather intimidating unicorn mare with a broken horn and scar across her eye.

"You must be Sunset" The unicorn stated.

"Um' yes" Sunset nervously replied.

"Good, Starlight and The Princess have been awaiting your arrival. They have the lab set-up in the main library. Follow me" The mysterious mare stated in a calm but demanding tone.

"Uh, sure thing Ms..."

"Tempest, you may call me Tempest, I am a, I guess you could say special friend of Princess Twilight's" Tempest told her in a rather cocky and sultry tone.

"Oh, ah well, nice to meet you" Sunset nervously chuckled as she followed Tempest down the hall to where Starlight and Twilight had the lab equipment set-up.

"So, how long are we s'posed ta wait here again?" Applejack huffed as she Rarity & Fluttershy waited in front of the statue that contained the portal to their friends homeworld.

"Well until Sunset comes back I suppose darling." Rarity replied.

"Well it's lunch time and ahm starvin!" AJ huffed.

Rarity just chuckled in reply "Are you sure you aren't originally from Equestria as well Applejack, you do seem to have a rather large appetite" the fashionista joked.

"Hey, ahm a growin girl, sides I don't eat any more then Dash, and not nearly as much as Pinkie Pie!" AJ blushed.

"True" Rarity agreed. "I honestly have no idea how Ms. Pie eats as much as she does and doesn't gain a single pound!" Rarity exclaimed.

"Ah recon it all goes ta the same place as it does on Fluttershy" AJ laughed pointing to her shy friends rather large bust.

"Oh my" Fluttershy replied as she tried to use her arms to hide her chest. Angel bunny just looking angrily at the other two humans for making his master upset.

"Now, now Angel, no need to be mad at us, we were just joking around, have to find some way to pass the time." Rarity responded. The little rabbit however still giving the two the same dagger like death stare Aria had given them throughout the morning.

"Oh, I just hope this doesn't take too long" Fluttershy whispered. "Please get back soon sunset, before Aria or my little Angel Bunny one snaps." Fluttershy pouted as she looked at the statue.

"I told you we don't need you babysitting us. Get out of here already!" Aria growled at Rainbow Dash who refused to leave the nurses office.

"No way, Sunset told Pinks and I to watch you two, so that's exactly what we're gonna do!" Rainbow stubbornly replied.

"Yea, plus i'd much rather be in here then have to sit through Mr. Cranky's boring old math class" Pinkie replied with her usual happy chuckled.

"Ugg, I always hated math too." Sonata replied in agreement.

"Stop agreeing with them, stop acting like they're our friends!" Aria angrily huffed at her ditz of a sister.

"Don't be such a grouch Ari. They're trying to help, and they could be our friends you know, if you'd give em a chance." Sonata whinned.

"We don't need any pathetic humans as friends Sonata you bimbo. We are Sirens, we may be stuck in these stupid bodies now, but we're still ten times better then any human will ever be. Even ones with magical powers." Aria exclaimed.

"Oh yea, you wanna test that theory." Rainbow growled in reply putting up her fists.

"Gladly" Aria deviously smiled.

"Whoa whoa whoa whoa! Calm Down You Two!" Pinkie interjected as she moved in front of Rainbow Dash. Sonata doing the same for Aria.

"Get out of my way!" The two angry teens shouted in unison.

"Not a chance" Pinkie & Sonata replied.

"Sunset told us to watch The Dazzlings Dashie, not knock their clocks off. Think of how dissapointed she'll be if she finds out you beat one of em up!?" Pinkie begged her friend giving her the usual puppy dog eyes. Rainbow Dash just sighed and gave in, putting down her fist. "Fine" She huffed.

"You calm down too Aria" Sonata replied in an unusually demanding tone.

"And why should I do that?" Aria growled at her baby blue sister.

"Because this isn't what Dagi would want, I know you're upset right now cause she's sick, but we don't just go around beating up people for no good reason." Sonata begged.

"I would say them being responsible for this in the first place is a pretty good reason." Aria growled back at her sister.

"Maybe, but what if you did fight and win, what then. They see you beat up their friend and they might not help us save Adagio!" Sonata cried.

"So what" Aria scoffed "Hairspray kicks the bucket that just means i'm in charge which means I can finally put you in your place" Aria growled.

Sonata looked at her sister, for the first time in a long time an intense anger evident in the young siren's eyes.

"Aww, whats wrong airhead? Gonna Cry?" Aria chuckled. Though the moment was short lived as Sonata slapped Aria on the cheek as hard as she could.

"What the hell was that for!?" Aria screeched

"Stop it-just-stop it!" Sonata cried. "I-I know how much you care about Dagi, about me-so-so why are you always so cruel? Why do you say such awful things!?" Sonata sobbed as she stood right in front of her sister.

Aria just paused for a moment, unsure of what to say. Then as if a dam had burst tears began to well-up and pour from the purple siren's eyes. "You idiot. Just, s-shut up" She stuttered. "You-you know as well as I do what happens when you care about anyone." She sobbed "You care about people and Neptune, or God or The Goddess or the Universe or whatever is in charge of all this madness just-it just takes em away! Just like it did mom and dad and everybody else!" She replied as tears continued to roll down her eyes.

"Oh Ari" Sonata sighed as she tried to move foward to embrace her sister. Aria's hand out and blocking her path. "Just-just stay back Sonata." Aria sniffled as she slowly walked to one the corners of the room and crouched down and curled up into a ball putting her hoodie's hood over her head. The others just staring at her with sad empathetic looks

"She acts tough, but she's really afraid of losing her sisters, huh Dashie" Pinkie asked her rainbow haired friend.

"Yea, seems like it" Rainbow Dash sighed as she walked past the still frozen Sonata and towards the hudled down Aria.

"Hey, listen. I-i'm sorry I tried to pick a fight with you. And i'm sorry that we might be responsible for Adagio being sick and unconscious and what not." Rainbow awkwardly exclaimed. "But listen, I promise no matter what Sunset and the others will find a way to save her, to save all of you." Rainbow Dash attempted to reassure the sobbing siren.

"W-whatever" Aria quietly replied. Rainbow just sighed and shook her head. "Guess that's as a close to a thank you as we're gonna get" She thought to herself.

"Wait, so Starswirl and all the legendary pillars of Equestria are back!?" Sunset asked Twilight in disbelief.

"Yep" The nerdy princess replied "They're all out wandering Equestria as we speak" She chuckled.

"And shortly after that Twilight tried to throw a big festival but it got crashed by some creepy Yeti called the Storm King and his goons." Starlight added in. "present company excluded of course" she chuckled as Tempest stared at her.

"So i'm guessing Tempest is in the same reformed unicorns club as you and me and Trixie" Sunset joked.

"Pretty much" Starlight replied.

"OK girls, enough gossip, let's get back to work" Twilight scolded as she filled one of the beakers up with a mysterious liquid. Sunset and Starlight nodding in agreement as the continued to help expose the samples to various potions and magics.

After some time of various trials and tribulations the trio of geniuses finally found a solution.

"OK so if we add a purifying spell and filter it through the ancient rite of The Harmony of The Seaponies and then combine that with a rejuvenation spell, a blood cleansing ritual and a couple of Zecora's anti-sniffle elixirs we should be nearly complete!" Starlight cheered

"I guess" Sunset sighed

"What is it Sunset?" Starlight asked somewhat confused.

"I-its just. I agree this can work. It would defiantly cure Adagio and maybe even keep her sisters safe for awhile. But, I-i need a way to give them back their magic for good." Sunset exclaimed.

"You want to what!?" Twilight shrieked.

"You heard me" Sunset huffed in reply.

"But, but the Sirens are evil! They're villians" Twilight retorted

" So was I once." Sunset replied

"So were all of us." Starlight chimed in looking seriously at Twilight and pointing at Tempest who was obviously doing her best to stay out of the conversation by pretending to read a book.

Twilight just paused for a moment and sighed. "OK, you're right, i'm sorry. Every pony, er person deserves a second chance." Twilight agreed. "I don't know how to make this potion any stronger though. But I know someone who might. Spike, send a message to Stygian and Starswirl, tell them, tell them Princess Twilight needs their help.

Sunset just looked at Starlight in amazement, she couldn't believe it, after hearing about him her entire life she was finally going to meet Starswirl the Bearded!

And man, bet Sunset will be dissapointed when she finds out what a jerk the real Starswirl is.

Finale: A Song Restored

Sunset Shimmer paced as she waited in the library with Starlight, Spike and Tempest having long since left.

"What's taking so long, we've already been waiting two days and Twilight said Starswirl had arrived in Canterlot, she should be back with him and Stygian by now" Sunset nervously muttered.

"Don't worry i'm sure Twilight will be back with them any minute now....I hope." Starlight nervously attempted to reassure her friend.

Meanwhile, in Canterlot.....

"Absolutly not!" A rather stern voice boomed.

"But why? When Spike sent my initial request you said you would help us!" Princess Twilight huffed.

"That is before I knew exactly what you needed help with." Starswirl angrily growled in retort.

"Ugg, how can somepony that's supposed to be a legendary hero of Equestria be such a jerk!" Twilight shouted back at the bearded old unicorn stallion.

"Why I never!" Starswirl gasped.

Stygian just looked at his old friend and chuckled. "Well you know she's correct, you aren't exactly the easiest pony to get along with" He sneered

"Et Tu Stygian?" Starswirl grumbled. "I am rather surprised you would want us to help, given it was your village the Sirens attacked all those moons ago."

"True, but given what i've been through, I don't feel it is my place to refuse aid to anyone." Stygian replied as he shivered thinking back to his time as the Pony of Shadows.

"Fine." Starswirl huffed. "I suppose it is my fault that when I banished them from Equestria they ended up in another world as opposed to limbo proper. But in the heat of battle one can make a few minor mistakes when casting a spell" He begrudgingly admitted. "I will help you and your friends finish the potion, but don't expect me to apologize to those monsters for doing what I had to do to defend the realm." Starswirl finished.

Twilight just sighed and rolled her eyes. "Fair enough, now come on, Sunset is probably worried sick by now" She told the two as she motioned for them to follow.

"Ugg, we've been here fer hours!" AJ gruffed

"I know darling, i'm bored too, but we promised Sunset we'd stay till she got back" Rarity pouted in reply.

"And think about how Sunset must feel, its only been hours here but it must have been days back in Equestria!" Fluttershy reminded the two as she patted the now sleeping angel bunny's head.

"Ah guess, but ahm still bummed we missed lunch, could one o y'all at least run down to the corner and get some snacks?" AJ asked her friends

"I suppose I could darling, I could use a drink myself and I know how to get an easy discount" Rarity chuckled as she struck a sexy pose. Applejack just rolled her eyes "Yea, yea, whatever just go get us somethin fer ah starve ta death!" the hungry cowgirl demanded.

"As you wish" Rarity flirtily replied with a bow as she got her wallet out of her purse and started to head to the sidewalk.

Sonata just stood over the bed in the nurse's office and stared at the unconscious Adagio. She didn't know how but she could feel her big sister's life force fading, and no doubt Aria could as well. Sonata looked over at Aria who was still huddled down in the corner of the room her hood over her head, her arms across her legs hiding her face.

"Oh Neptune, please let everything be ok in the end" She silently prayed. All of a sudden she felt a hand grasp her's and saw Pinkie Pie staring at her intensely. "Hey, don't worry, everything is gonna be OK, I can feel it. Sunset's gonna come through, just you wait!" The perky pink girl smiled.

"I hope you're right." Sonata replied with a gulp. "And not just for me or Dagi, but Aria too. I know what she said earlier, but, but if we lost Adagio I, I think it would break her." Sonata sniffled as she looked the cotton candy haired teen. Pinkie just made a sympathetic smile and embraced Sonata in a hug. "Hey, don't worry, no body's gonna lose anybody and nobody's gonna break, I promise." Pinkie once again assured the siren.

Meanwhile Rainbow Dash just stood by the door unsure of what to do. This mushy stuff wasn't here area of expertise. She just looked over at the unconscious Adagio and thought to herself "You better pull through for your sisters or i'm gonna kick your ghosts ass"

"OK, I think we've got it!" Starswirl proclaimed as he held up the three glowing containers.

"Really!?" Sunset and Starlight excitedly asked in unison.

"Indeed" Stygian reassured them. "It was actually rather simple really"

"Yes, quite" Starswirl proudly agreed as he loved to stroke his own ego. "We just added a handful of Phoenix Downs, a pinch of Peryton Tears and various shavings of the more powerful magical gemstones and voila! A potion that will not only cure those silly sirens of whatever otherworldly ailment is attached to them, but restore their magic to them as well." Starswirl explained.

"Oh, this is great! Thank you so much!" Sunset cheered as she hugged the old legend

"Um, yes, well it, was nothing." Starswirl blushed looking down at the young unicorn mare.

"Yea, while we're all greatful for your help, I gotta ask, whats the catch?" Starlight asked the wizard. "I Know you had Twilight and Stygian aging you on, but you still caved in rather easily for a stubborn old goat like you" Starlight exclaimed.

Starswirl slowly trotted towards Starlight "There is no catch Ms. Glimmer. I know you and I didn't get off on the best of hooves, but I promise you, I am not as cold hearted as you may think. Though I will say if I find out the sirens take advantage of this gift and go back to their old ways after they are restored, I will not hesitate to travel to your friend Sunset's world myself and end them once and for all." Starswirl seriously retorted.

"Um, OK good to know" Starlight gulped.

"Don't worry" Sunset nervously replied "I already promised my world's Celestia & Luna that I would keep them in line." She stated as she levitated the potions and put them in her saddle bags.

"Well, I guess I better be off, thank you, all of you" She once again stated as she looked around the room.

"Be safe sunset, and tell everyone I said hello" Twilight smiled as she hugged her friend

"You and Starlight really should come visit again" Sunset told the princess "I'm sure you're cuter half would love to run some experiments on you" She chuckled as she gave Twilight a wink and trotted out the door towards the mirror room.

Twilight just chuckled and then paused as the realization of what Sunset had said kicked in "Cuter half? Wha, she thinks that world's Twilight is cuter then me!?" Princess Twilight pouted.

"Well, yea know, that Twilight does wear glasses, so she does get a few more adorkable points." Starlight agreed with a chuckle of her own.

"humph, you're just lucky this castle doesn't have a dungeon or I would so have Tempest throw you in a cell right now" Twilight jokingly replied, Starlight just chuckling as she rolled her eyes.

Applejack took another large bite out of the burrito that Rarity had gotten her at the corner as she stared at her friend who was messing on her cellphone sipping her soda. Fluttershy meanwhile had seemingly fallen asleep sitting in the same place for so long and was snoring louder than Angel Bunny. All of a sudden however the portal began to glow and the three friends hopped up to attention.

Sunset shimmer shot out of the portal and landed right in front of the three girls.

"Howdy Sunset, ahh....how was Equestria?" AJ asked hiding her snack behind her back as not to offend her vegetarian friend.

Sunset shook her head as she got her barrings "Ah, it was fine. Man it feels good to have hands again!" Sunset exclaimed as she popped her knuckles.

"D-did you get what you needed?" Fluttershy worriedly asked as she looked up at Sunset

"Yea, I got everything I need right here" Sunset proudly exclaimed as she opened her backpack to reveal the three glowing potions.

"Oh simply fabulous darling!" Rarity cheered "What now?"

"Now you three go get Twilight from the library, i'll wait for you with Dash & Pinkie in the Nurses office. With any luck these potions will cure Adagio and give the Dazzlings back their magic." Sunset explained as she looked in her bag at the glowing bottles.

"OK, sounds good ta me" AJ agreed as she rushed towards the front door of the school downing the rest of her burrito before Sunset could see it.

"What's up with her?" Sunset asked

"Honestly i've no idea darling, I think she's been hit on the head one to many times by falling apples" Rarity chuckled. "Anyway I guess we best be off, time to play nurse" Rarity chuckled as she helped Fluttershy up and the rest of the girls headed towards the entrance of the school.

"And you're sure this will work?" Sonata nervously asked the group.

"I had Starswirl himself help me with the potion, i'm pretty sure it'll work" Sunset reassured the siren.

"Starswirl is the reason we're even here in the first place! No way in Hades will any of us drink anything made by that bearded bastard!" Aria growled

"But Ari, if we don't at least try Dagi might-you know" Sonata gulped "And we-we could get sick too!" she stuttered

"So what, i'd rather die then accept help from that old coot" Aria growled

"Well, that's fine, i'm pretty sure he wants you three gone anyway" Sunset replied "Infact I think he said something about it not being any skin off his mane either way, I think he just helped you out of pity" Sunset lied a mischievous grin on her face.

"He what!?" Aria shrieked "OK, that's it, give us those potions, no way i'm gonna die if that'll make ol beardy happy, i'm gonna live and become strong enough to kick his ass with my bare fists!" Aria angrily huffed.

"That's the spirit" Sunset chuckled as she handed Aria and Sonata their potions. "But first I do believe Patient Zero should get her medicine first" Sunset stated as she popped the cap of the glowing golden liquid and positioned Adagio's head up to where she could poor the potion down the siren's throat. Closing her mouth and letting her back down after the bottle was empty.

"So, what now?" Sonata asked. But before anyone could reply Adagio began to glow. Her eyes opened glowing bright white as she levitated off the floor and began to, Pony up!? The group stared as the seemingly restored siren slowly descended back to the ground, her form like that at the battle of the bands, pony ears shooting out of her hair and see through wings on her back. The main difference this time instead of a red gemstone around her neck, there was a small yellow gem embedded in the palm of her hand. After the magical aura cooled down however the ponied-up form dissipated as the small yellow gem began to glow, Adagio slowly regaining consciousness.

"Wha-whats, where are we?" Adagio rasped as she looked around the room and rubbed her head. "Ugg, I feel like I just got run over by a bus?" She exclaimed.

"Dagi, you're OK!" Sonata cheered as she hugged her big sister.

"Of course I-" Adagio began to reply before she noticed Sunset and the rest of the Rainbooms "What-what are they doing here?" She growled her new gemstone once again beginning to glow as anger built-up inside.

"Hey, chill" she heard Aria reply. "These idiots helped us save your life. So we probably shouldn't off em, at least not yet." Aria chuckled as she smiled mischievously at her beloved sister."

"OK, someone please explain to me what's going on" Adagio whined as she just stared at her arch-enemies still quite confused.

"Sure thing hairspray" Aria laughed, but first, how a bout a toast, bottoms-up Sonata" She smiled at her sister as she clanged her potion against her sister's the two following suite and taking their medicine as well.

"I really hope this doesn't end up being a mistake." Twilight whispered to Sunset. "Are you sure we can trust The Dazzlings now that they'll have magical powers again?" she asked her bacon haired friend as the group watched Aria and Sonata undergo the same transformation as Adagio.

"Well, I'm sure it won't be easy, but, everyone deserves a second chance, right Twy" Sunset answered as she wrapped her arm around her friend. "Ahh, I suppose you're right" Twilight blushed in reply.

Later at Sunset Shimmer's loft.

"So let me get this straight, you actually helped my sisters, saved my life, and gave us our magic back?" Adagio asked in disbelief.

"Well, yea, more or less" Sunset replied.

"OK, but....why?" Adagio asked still rather confused.

"Because it was the right thing to do. That's why." Fluttershy chimed in with a smile. Pinkie Pie nodding in agreement.

"ugg, they are such goody goodies" Aria chuckled. "But hey, I guess it is nice to have magic again" She smiled as she looked at the small purple gemstone embedded in the palm of her hand.

"Yea, and now that our gems or part of our bodies again we won't have to worry about them getting lost or breaking!" Sonata cheered staring happily at her own new deep blue gemstone."

"Well, thanks for that guess" Adagio replied rather non-chelauntly. "C'mon girls, now that thats settled we should probably get back home and get ready for our shift" Adagio stated as if nothing that had just happened had changed anything.

"Ugg, no way, I hate that stupid restaurant and i'm not spending one more night in that roach infested apartment complex!" Aria huffed

"Yea, Dagi, I love Tacos but that boss is a real meanie, and i'm pretty sure there's a monster living under our bed" Sonata agreed.

"Well, what are we supposed to do then" Adagio asked looking back at her sister's with her arms crossed. The other two just remaining silent, not sure how to reply.

"Well, if you want you can stay here with me" Sunset interjected. The three siren sisters just staring at her in disbelief. "I mean my couch folds out into a bed, it should be big enough for the three of you, and Principle Celestia did say you could come back to Canterlot High if you wanted. And I could probably talk to my boss at the Sushi restaurant and get you on part time there." Sunset explained with a blush.

Adagio remained quite for awhile as she thought things over. "OK, sure." The siren responded. "I mean your place is obviously much more fitting for someone as fabulous as me, that rat dump down town was an insult anyway. And I much prefer the taste of fish to that of, whatever the heck those tacos are made of" She replied cringing as she thought of the processed meat she had been forced to handle at her now old job.

"Really Dagi!? You mean it!" We can stay!?" Sonata cheered her eyes wide and happy.

"Sure, why not, we'll go back and pick-up our things and then bum off the unicorn that was dumb enough to offer us a place to stay" Adagio chuckled looking back at Sunset Shimmer

"But that means we have to go back to that school too" Aria scowled

"True, but at least that place is clean, and if you get bored there's plenty of humans to pester dear sister" Adagio replied as she held up her sister's head with her hand, giving Aria a mischievous smile "And I know how much you love that" she winked. "Uh-ok-yea-whatever" Aria replied with a blush.

"Good then it's all settled" Pinkie Pie cheered. "Oh, now we gotta throw a aren't you happy to have your magic back/ welcome back to Canterlot High party!" Pinkie happily exclaimed as she hopped up and down in excitement.

"Is she always like this?" Adagio asked sunset

"Pretty much. But don't worry, you'll get used to it." Sunset chuckled as she extended her hand out to Adagio "So, friends?" Sunset nervously asked.

"Well, I don't know about that" Adagio replied as she too extended out her hand to meet Sunset's "But at the least, for now, I guess we can be allies." She agreed as she shook Sunset's hand in return.

"Well, it's a start" Sunset sighed. "Welcome back Dazzlings" Sunset smiled at the sisters as Aria and Sonata gathered behind Adagio. The three sisters looking at one another confidently, now knowing with their magic back there was nothing that this or any other world could throw at them that they couldn't face.

Whoo, Final Chapter! Sorry this story was kind of short, but didn't feel like dragging this one on too long. But don't worry the next Dazzlings story will be longer and should be up fairly soon! Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed and I will go back and try to fix errors later on.

As for other projects the second LIAT continutiy story based around Pinkie & Skystar should be up by Friday, i've had to retool parts of it, but the proulouge and Chapter 1 should be up this week. As for other Dazzlings stuff the second Dazzlings story that will more or less be an Aria story will start-up either tomorrow or Wednesday. It will be rated M cause it has loads of language and Aria being a salty sailor to Sonata then this story did. and a few other Not Safe For Woona things, but I hope you'll still give it a looksie once its up. There will still be adorable and feels based moments too.
