Political headaches

Dillan sighed again as he leaned on the wall of the castle's balcony, staring out over the seemingly endless sea. "Funny, this reminds me of both Wind waker and Spirited away." Dillan chuckled a hollow chuckle as he watched the waves crash against canterlot mountain, seeing many sea creatures and fish swimming around. He glanced at Ponyville, completely submerged under the waves. The lights of homes and business glimmering through the dome he and Discord created when the flooding started, the lights wiggling and dancing through the waves.

Dillan smiles softly, as he starts walking through the castle a unicorn with a black mane and orange fur walking behind him with a clicpbored in her magic. "The development of the tunnels connecting all the settlements has been completed, and all pony settlements have been fully incased in domes thanks to the aid of Discord."

Dillan nodded slowly looking at the unicorn in confusion. "Um, why are you telling me all this?"

"The princesses and the elements of harmony have vanished, you are the most logical to be next in charge." The unicorn said. "Shining armor and princess cadence are too busy in the crystal empire and ponies trust you, it only makes sense."

Dillan blinked as his head slowly turns to the balcony overlooking canterlot city itself as ponies went about their day. Swallowing a lump in his throat Dillan looked to the mare. "What's your name?"

"Sunset meadows sir." She said, adjusting her mane a bit. "I am Princess Celestia's new secretary… sadly raven inkpot did not make it back to canterlot before the flood."

Dillan winced and nodded slowly. "Huh, sunset… sunset… you wouldn't happen to have a daughter with the same first name would you?"

"I do actually, well… did. She disappeared years ago, how did you know?" She said to him.

"Um, I read a book in the library about Celestia's old private students." He lied, chuckling.

Sunset meadows nods slowly, glancing at her clipboard again. “I see...Well, we have a lot to do and we are already behind schedule.” She points at her clipboard. “First we need to have day court, then the meeting with the parliament on what to do with all the water. And lastly the dragons have sent a delegate demanding answers and restitution for the floods.”

Dillan blinks rapidly. "Uh… alright?"

She nods and smiles before opening the door. “Come along sir Dillan, daylight is burning."

Dillan follows behind her. "Um, so what exactly do I have to do?"

“Well, like I said, the first is day court where anyone can come to princess Celestia with their troubles and ask for her help, be it financial, legal, or just advice.” Sunset said as they walked towards the throne room.

"I'm not sure if I'm uh, qualified for that kinda thing… well the financial part." He said.

“You won't be alone, Celestia’s advisers will be there with you.” She said as she opened the door to the throne room.

Dillan gulped. "Uh am I supposed to sit on her throne or something?"

Sunset nods and starts pushing Dillan with her magic. “Yes, now hurry, the court is already late to start.”

"Ok ok!" He said sitting on Celestia's throne. "Um, should I transform into an alicorn or something?"

“If that makes you feel more comfortable, however most that are coming know that you are the one going to be the one on the throne.” Sunset told Dillan before taking her spot to his right.

Dillan nods slowly, looking to the guards at the door. "Um, begin?"

The guards nod, opening the doors as a rainbow line of ponies comes walking in. The first one to come up surprised Dillan when he bows. He was a brown mane, and white coat earth pony. “Sir, please ma family needs help. All this water has washed away most of ma farm and now the little light that makes it to us just ain’t enough to grow food properly.”

Dillan frowns and looks out the window at the sea. "I hear your concerns, and I want everyone here to hear me!" He said standing up and raising his voice so everyone could hear him. "The person that made my watch is the smartest person in three possibly five galaxies. He is working on a solution to get rid of the water, however until then I will use my powers to aid in any plant growth and food development. And if need be, I can even use my powers to raise farms and towns to make islands. So that everyone can get sunshine and fresh air, all I ask is that you give me some time please?"

The first stallion and a few other ponies nod and bow before leaving. Then a well dressed mare walks up and slightly bows her head. “I am here on behalf of the Canterlot preservation society. I'm here to ask the crown for funding.”

Dillan looks at her. "And how much do you need?"

She smiles and flutters her eyes. “Well, with the projects we have in mind we need at least…” She seems to think it over, before saying. “Ten thousand.”

Dillan's eyes widen. "Ten thousand bits!?." He asked before calming down. "honestly less than I expected, however I need to discuss it with the financial council."

The mare frowned but only for a moment before she was smiling again. “Of course sir.”

An old unicorn stallion walks up to Dillan. “That is a large amount and she never said what these projects of hers are.” He said in a whisper.

Dillan glances at the mare. "What are the projects you need the money for?"

The mare smiles a bit more forced. “Well, we will be cleaning up the city and removing any...trash.. As well as adding some security in the old Canterlot district.”

Dillan stares at the mare. "And what proof do you have that this is what you need it for?"

The mare blinks as if shocked and confused he would ask such a thing. “I’m sorry?”

"Proof, what organization specifically is this for?" Dillan said, raising an eyebrow. "I'm sure there have been many ponies trying to con bits from Celestia over the years, and just because I've never done this before doesn't mean I'm dumb or nieve."

The mare chuckles and waves a hoof. “Oh sir you don't have to worry about that, I am a noble not some filthy commoner.”

Dillan stares at her with a raised eyebrow. "And that matters because?"

The mare stares at Dillan as if she was just told the world was flat. “Wha..it matters because I am above them! All nobles are and it is our responsibility to lead them but we can't do that if they keep barging into our city and taking our supplies. Canterlot needs more food, Canterlot needs more space and more importantly Canterlot needs less commoners!”

Dillan stands up immediately, glaring down at her. "Actually it's ponies like you that canterlot needs less of!" He said shocking her. "Canterlot may be the center of the pony lands, however that doesn't mean that the problems here are any worse than anywhere else. Of anything, canterlot should GIVE more food out to places like ponyville or even Appaloosa, this flood has caused problems way worse for them than here."

The mare was shocked at first but then she harrumphed and turned her node to the air. “Those dirt ponies don't Matter, all the ones that matter are here in Canterlot, anyone who didn't make it up here obviously doesn't have as much importance.”

Dillan crosses his arms. "Oh really? What about the farmers that grow the food? What about the builders and ponies that provide the materials? What about the elements of harmony that have saved equestria many times over?" He asked slowly walking down the steps of the throne to get in her face. "They all provide necessary, and important aspects to life in equestria that without would mean the end of everything…" he glared, staring her in the eyes. "And what have YOU done?"

She backs up as Dillan gets closer. “They do those things because it is their purpose in life to fulfill our needs and I am responsible for keeping Canterlot pure.”

"What's your name?" He asked her.

She puts a hoof on her chest. “I am Scarlet Rose, but most call my lady Rose.”

"Leave, I'm sure Celestia will be interested in hearing what you've had to say. And considering her star pupil and her friends are those so called lowly commoners, and the ones that have saved equestria more times than I have. I'm sure she'll have a few words for you." He said.

She frowns and flips her mane as she turns to leave. “I guess you are just another pretender.”

"A pretender?" Dillan raised an eyebrow, turning to Sunset meadows.

Sunset shrugs and watches Scarlet Rose leave. “I don't know sir.”

Dillan sits back down. "Um, did I mess up by getting all worked up by that?"

A earth pony mare clears her throat. “Well, Celestia would have handled that ….differently, but you are in charge today. You can choose how to act.”

Dillan sighs and holds his head, before turning to the old stallion that walked up to him before. "Has there been anyone else that's asked for that amount of bits before?"

He nods with a frown. “Most are just seeking to loot the royal vaults but there are a few cases that are legitimate.”

Dillan sighs. "Crap, I hope I didn't just mess up…."

The ood stallion clears his throat. “Miss scarlet Rose has a reputation for hmmm how do i word this nicely?”

“She is a total plothole.” Sunset said.

Dillan coughs and chokes on apparently nothing, covering his mouth. "Damn, that was funny!"

The older stallion clears his throat. “Right, in any case you shouldn’t have to worry about miss Rose.”

Dillan nods slowly. "Ok, are there any more ponies waiting for day court?"

Someone clears their throat after Dillan said that, and when he looked he saw an unamused Blueblood. “And what exactly do you think you're doing on my aunties throne?”

"Running day court, she left me in charge… apparently. Your blue blood right? What can I help you with?" Dillan asked with a small smile.

Blueblood huffs. “As if my loving aunt would leave a commoner in charge, get out of my throne this instant or I shall have the guards throw you in the dungeon.”

Dillan stares at him before looking to Sunset meadows, completely ignoring him. "Is he mentally unstable?"

Sunset opens her mouth before Blueblood cuts her off. “What kind of question is that? Of course I am mentally stable, stop being such a fool it is my birthright to rule Equestria not your’s commoner you may have that fancy shape shifting ability of yours but to me that just makes you a freak and get out of my sight before I have you arrested.”

Dillan blinks at him. "And what right do you have that says you can overrule the laws your aunt placed?"

Blueblood frowns and stomps his hoof. “What law are you talking about? The only law here is that I, as a prince should be on that throne!”

"That is not actually true sir." A young voice said. A young unicorn stallion walked up holding a book in his magic, opening it he flips through the pages until he stops midway through. "Equestrian law number fone hundred and six." He started

"Wow." Dillan said at the same time.

"In the absence of either princess celestia or Princess Luna. And no other suitable royal is named or located, such as princess twilight or cadence, it shall be up to the members of the royal court and secretary of Princess Celestia. To name a temporary leader in their absence." He spoke, before closing the book. "And as such we the Royal court have named Dillan the temporary leader."

“But that is preposterous. I am right here. I've been in Canterlot this whole time. Why haven't you come to me before going to that monkey!” Blueblood started yelling and pointing. “I am a Prince and will be treated as such. In the absence of my aunties, I am in charge!”

Dillan stands up, slowly walking over to blue blood. "What exactly do I have the rights to do as I am in charge?" He asked the other unicorn.

"You have the same rights as the princesses. And if they seem your decisions to be appropriate soon their return it shall stay." The unicorn said.

Dillan nods. "Understood, blue blood you said it was preposterous that you weren't chosen. I think it's clear now why. You are rude, hot headed, you jump to conclusions and a racist. Of any visiting dignitaries were to arrive white you in charge a war would be soon behind. And as such." He said glancing around as everyone waited for his response, including the guards. "As the temporary ruler, I hear by strip you of your status and power!"

Bluebloods eyes widen and then he lights his horn. “Who do you think you are!? Guards arrest the commoner filth immediately!” He yells as two magic sword construcks appear next to him.

Dillan crosses his arms as two guards walk over and point their spears right at blue blood. "You are under arrest for crimes against the crown."

“What!? I am the crown!” He yells before launching his magic swords at Dillan rage filling his eyes.

Dillan shakes his head and pushes down his ultimatrix, in a bright flash a purple rock alien stood Infront of them as he absorbed the magic swords. "Nice try, but Chromastone can absorb all kinds of energy. Including magic." He said as the guards restrained Blue blood.

“No! Stop! I am a prince! A PRINCE!” Blueblood yells as he is taken away. After a few moments of silence every guard left in the throne room cheered.

Dillan sighs and sits back down on the throne, as he returns to normal. "That could have been better…"

“Well to be fair almost everypony knows that prince blueblood is a mareizing, selfish, cowardly, plothole.” Sunset said, partially hiding behind her clipboard.

Dillan smiles at her. "Trying not to laugh?" He asked, looking to the royal court. "if any of you want to laugh or cheer go ahead, I'm not uptight about it."

Dillan smiles as many royal court members laugh and cheer along with the guards. Dillan spent the better half of five hours answering simple yes and no questions for the court day ponies. However there were a few he had to think on and had Sunset meadows write down for celestia and Luna when they come back.

"Alright, now what?" Dillan asked Sunset as he stood up and rubbed his butt. "This chair is uncomfortable…"

“Well, next you have to meet with the Parliament in order to discuss what to do with all the ocean water. And for the throne being uncomfortable, Princess Celestia had designed it that way to help her keep herself awake at least that's the rumor going around.” Sunset said.

"That… surprisingly makes sense…" dillan said. "Do I meet them here or somewhere else?"

Sunset shakes her head. “No we need to head to the other side of the castle.”

Then an older mare chuckles. “Also one of Celestia’s ideas, if she's walking all over the castle she's getting at least some exercise.”

Dillan nods, cracking his back. "alright let's do this."

Dillan and Sunset move on to the other side of the castle passing many ponies, mostly guards and maids. “Sir if you don’t mind my asking, how soon do you think till the water will be gone? I have family that is on the edge of Equestria and I want to find out if they made it.”

"Well, truth be told once the water is gone or if we have to make islands. I can bring them all back to life." He said. "Anyone that died."

Sunset looks at Dillan with wide eyes. “B-But isn’t that necromancy?”

"I'm assuming that's illegal here considering your reaction." He said chuckling. "But no it's…. Huh actually I wonder if it does count as necromancy. You see I have a transformation that can create these things called dragon balls… Stop it." He said pointing at her when she blushed at what he said. "their magic orbs that can grant any one wish within their power, surprisingly reviving the dead is within those powers."

She blinks and looks down. “A..are there any negative side effects?” She asked Dillan.

"Well… in one timeline when they're used they create negative energy and if it builds up too much they'll break and become shadow dragons. But whenever I transform the dragon balls are destroyed and recreated with each transformation. So we don't have to worry about that." He said. "Sadly though I already tried to use them for the water and couldn't. It's too much to evaporate, it'll just become rain, and the dragon balls don't have the range to search the whole universe for a planet to teleport it to."

“Oh..” Sunset looks down and sighs. “Well at least there is hope you can ‘save’ the ponies lost in the flood.”

"I can." Dillan said. "The dragon balls don't do anything half assed, they'll be restored to the way they were before they died."

Sunset smiles then looks up at Dillan. “I have a bit of a selfish request to ask of you sir.”

"Go for it." He said smiling softly at her.

She sighs and asks. “Do you think when you have some free time you can try to find out where my daughter is? I miss her so much.”

Dillan glances down at her, smiling softly. "Sure."

She smiles softly and wipes her eyes. “Thank you sir, oh we are here.” She clears her throat and calms herself down before opening the door.

Inside is a large room with a podium in the center and in front of the podium is a large desk with 15 seats on it however only nine seats are filled. “Well well, it seems mister Dillan has decided to grace us with his presence today.” A tall gray stallion with black mane said looking down at Dillan from his seat.

"My apologies, the former prince blue blood was making a ruckus in the throne room." Dillan stated. "Where do I sit?"

“You stand at the podium and answer our questions.” A yellow military Pegasus mayor said.

"Oh, ok. Sorry I've never done this before." Dillan said standing at the podium.

A earth pony mare adjusts her paperwork before asking. "Seeing as this is your first time here, please state your name, occupation and species for the record.”

"Um Dillan anthony schorer, occupation… Um. Hero? Or I guess peacekeeper would be better. And homosapien." He stated.

One of the ponies writes that down. “Alright, let’s start with something simple, what has been about the flooding so far?”

"The creator of my watch has been searching the cosmos for a berrin planet just far away enough from it's star to be able to teleport the water away. However it has been difficult from what I've heard. Most planets that are far away enough for life already have life on them." Dillan said.

Some of the ponies frown and mumble with each other. “I see, and how have you handled the food issue?”

"That was only just brought to my attention today in day court. However I have a transformation that can manipulate plants, and another that could help make islands out of some mountains. Then we will be able to grow more food on those islands." He said. "Or we can use magic to raise the pony settlements to the surface and make them into islands."

“Hmmm I see, well Please do something soon. Equestria has lost most of its farmlands due to this flood. Next question is, where are the princesses at the moment?” The same stallion asked.

Dillan opened his mouth to speak before his eyes widened and he looked behind him. "Well, Luna is outside now." He said gesturing to the door. "and as for Celestia I'm assuming she's with the creator of my watch, for what I do not know."

The ponies talk amongst themselves for a moment before the Pegasus mare asks. “If Princess Luna is outside, why is she not in here speaking with us?”

"She just arrived." Dillan said. "I know because I can detect life energy and hers just appeared." He calmly stated, before the doors opened again, princess Luna quickly walking in.

"Apologies, something very important came up and-" she paused, looking at the ponies and Dillan. "Have we missed something? What is happening?"

The military mare salutes and says. “We are having a meeting about the flood ma’am and as you and Princess Celestia were missing Dillan was named to be in charge ma’am.”

Luna sighs and nods. "Yes of course, Apologies once again. Azimuth wished to speak with me and Tia about the water as well. And good work Sunset meadows, Dillan is a very good choice." She said to the secretary mare.

Sunset blushes lightly but smiles at the praise. “Thank you ma’am.”

“Yes well now that there is an actual pony in charge Mr….Dillan is free to go, while we can resume the questioning with Princess Luna.” The tall gray stallion said looking down his nose at Dillan.

"Um technically mr naysayer, Dillan is still in charge of the day court and everything that happens during the day. Until celestia returns." Sunset meadows said.

He frowns at sunset and sits down. “Very well, if we must continue with this meeting with...him..”

Dillan raised his eyebrow and crosses his arms. "feelings mutual."

The pegasus clears her throat. “Yes well, next is what you plan to do about the cloud cities that are sucking up the water and starting to sink?”

Dillan's eyes blink multiple times. "Hmm. Well we can set up magic berriers underneath the cloud cities so that they won't asorb any more water and drain the excess water."

“Hmmm that could work.” The military mare said, while rubbing her chin.

“Yes yes, fine he has some good ideas, last question, what are you going to do about the monsters that will come to equestria for what little land is left?” Chancellor Naysay said.

"Uh what are you talking about?" Dillan asked raising an eyebrow.

He scoffs. “I am talking about those monsters from beyond equestria. Griffins, Minotaurs, Dragons, and all the rest!”

"You mean the other races that could use our help during this time of tragedy?" Dillan asked raising an eyebrow.

“Oh right, you aren’t a pony so you wouldn't understand. I will speak slowly for you.” he lends forward and speaks slowly. “Ponies have most of the dry land, monsters want dry land, monsters attack ponies for dry land.”

Dillan glares at him. "You do realize as acting leader of the land I can fire you right?"

Naysay glares back. “Only until a sensible pony would hire me right back. You don't scare me monster, ponies will never need you if i had my way.”

"You know it's Racist like you and former prince blue blood that give ponies a bad name." Dillan said. "And as for what I'm gonna do, I'm planning on helping them. They need aid just like the rest of us."

“Is it racist if I am concerned about the welfare of the ponies I'm in charge of? Is it racist that I stay up at night worrying how long it is until the next dragon attack or Minotaur war or griffin attack! And most dangerous of all...how long till you attack us.” He said pointing at Dillan.

"When you call other Races monsters?" Dillan asked. "Yes. And seriously? I literally saved the world from becoming a popsicle, why would I attack you?"

“You may have saved us this time, but with how unstable your mind has to be from shifting into those hideous creatures, It's only a matter of time before you attack us. And I for one will not be around when that happens.” He gets up and starts to leave the room.

Dillan looks to luna. "Can I kick his flank for being racist?"

Luna looks like she's considering it by rubbing her chin in thought. “Nay i think not, for doing such will only prove him right in his mind.”

Dillan sighs. "You know he's not even right? Equestria has the least amount of dry land." He said, catching naysayers attention..

He turns around and points a hoof at Dillan. “That is a bold face lie! Equestria is the biggest and best country on this whole planet. Of course we have the most land and of course we have the best resources. Everyone wants to come here and take everything from us!”

"Before the flood." Dillan said. "The size of the country doesn't matter, it's what's in it. Canterlot is the only mountain in equestria with ponies still on it. And very few other mountains count. The dragon's territory is mountainous, the yaks terrain is mountainous, the griffons and hippogriffs. Are. Mountainous. Are you seeing a pattern here?" He asked, rolling his hands.

Naysay grinds his teeth. “I refuse to listen to you, begone beast!” He taps his metal and a blue portal opens below Dillan.

Dillan floats in the air. "Yeah no."

Naysay’s eyes widen and he points a hoof at Dillan. “See! He floats with no wings! He must be a spawn of discord!”

Dillan shakes his head looking to the rest of the ponies. "You gonna listen to his crazy ramblings or are you gonna focus on helping the world be better than him?"

The other ponies look away from Naysay. “What!? Has he corrupted you to turn on your own kind!?”

"No, it's just they're smart enough to know their priorities." Dillan said.

Naysay growls and points at Dillan. “You will pay for your corrupting ways!” He then opens another portal but unfortunately for him the portal he opened is deep under the water and he is blasted against the wall with a torrent of sea water.

Dillan turns into a Hoopa, throwing a ring and sending the water back into the sea. Naysay falls off the wall and is hurt badly, with fur missing and broken legs.

Dillan sends the ring over to the portal, keeping it from flooding everything as he touches naysayers pendant and closes the portal. He looks back to the snooty pony and turns back to human, before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small green bean feeding it to naysayer as everyone watches.

There is the sickening sound of phones resetting and then any bruises and missing for disappear and fill in. “ugh what happened?”

"You opened a portal and the ocean came flooding in. Mister dillan gave you a bean and somehow healed you?" A stallion said.

Naysay looks around before getting up and huffing. “The day I believe that freak saved me is the day discord becomes harmonious.” He then leaves the room without another word.

"I should have left him alone." Dillan shakes his head.

“As much as I agree with you, I thank you for saving him, Dillan.” Luna said.

Sunset walks up and clears her throat. “Um excuse me but we still have one more appointment to do before you're free for the day ….sir.”

Dillan raises an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Sunset sighs and shows Dillan her clipboard in on it are big bold letters that say ‘dragon ambassador coming today.’ “Have you already forgotten sir?”

Dillan blinks. "You didn't tell me about that before."

Sunset groans and Luna giggles. “J-just come on we don't want to keep them waiting.”

"Um, ok?" Dillan said following Sunset.

After a while of walking they get to a meeting room, Luna deciding to follow. Sunset turns to face Dillan. “Inside is the dragon representative, her name is Ember and she is….passionate.”

Dillan nods slowly. Sunset nods her head before opening the door. “Good luck sir.”

Dillan slowly walks in, looking around confused. "Um hello?"

“About time someone showed up!” A femenine voice said as a blue dragoness stands up and comes into Dillan’s view.

Dillan blinks, smiling softly. "I'm sorry for the wait, day court and a meeting had me dealing with some… questionable characters."

“Whatever, look I need more food for the dragons.” Ember said.

"We are currently working on a way to grow more food, as I'm sure you know the flooding has… interrupted the food growing process." He said.

Ember frowns and crosses her arms. “Just tell me how soon your ponies can give us more food? Or better yet how soon till all this water goes away.”

Dillan coughs. "W-well, we are working on a solution with the greatest mind in five galaxies."

Ember rolls her eyes. “Oh brother, I doubt you are that smart..whatever a galaxies is.”

"No, no. Not me. The one that created my watch here, that lets me transform into different races. And uh… galaxies are… way too hard to explain." He sighed holding his head.

Ember just raises an eyebrow. “Look, I had to fly here all day and night. Just tell me what i need to know or else i will stop being so nice.”

Dillan gulps. "Well, I can help you start growing some food. Or help in some other way maybe building housing or something?"

Ember smirks. “Housing? You do know that most of the dragon population is larger than most pony houses right?”

Dillan chuckles. "Right, thought that doesn't necessarily mean your people shouldn't be comfortable at least."

Ember shrugs. “If you want to waste materials building houses that will most likely either be destroyed or burned down go ahead.” Ember starts to leave. “But now i need to fly home before some drake gets a stupid idea in their head.” She said but her movements were sluggish and almost drunk.

"Are you alright?" Dillan asked, catching her as she nearly falls over.

Ember tries to push Dillan but even without his super strength she couldn’t. “I am fine, let go of me dork.”

Dillan chuckles. "Sorry princess, but you're in no condition to go anywhere. Come on, you'll stay here tonight."

“Not..a...princess..jerek.” She said before passing out from fatigue and hunger.

Dillan sighs, smiling softly with a chuckle before he carries her out the room shocking sunset meadows and Luna. “Dillan, what did you do?” Luna asked as they followed him.

"Nothing, she passed out from fatigue." He said, carrying her to the infirmary. "The dragons are low on food, tomorrow if celestia is back I'll go and help start growing food for them. And I'll make an island halfway between here and the dragon lands to grow food on for us all."

“I see, but I must ask dillan, is it human custom to carry females with one hand on their butt?” Luna teased Dillan after noticing where his hands were.

Dillan blushes a bit. "Hey I just picked her up in a hurry, I didn't stop to think of how I should pick her up!" He said adjusting his hands so he wasn't feeling her up.

Luna giggles and trots ahead slightly. “Sure Dillan, just don't let Cadence find out or you may be holding your future marefriend.”

Dillan blushes deeply, shaking his head. "Not funny…" he said looking away.

Sunset tries to hide her giggles as they travel to the medical wing. “So Dillan how has Equestria been in mine and my sister’s absence?” Luna asked.

"Well you've only been gone about a day " dillan said, setting Ember on a medical bed when they got to the infirmary. "Day court went over all well, though I did strip Blue blood of his title and power."

Luna blinks with a blank look on her face for a whole minute before face hoofing. “Are you telling me I could have done that the day I met him?”

"I mean you are his aunt, and you have more power than him. Though right now he's in the dungeon, for attempting to attack me." Dillan said. "After he was told he wasn't in charge and throwing a fit like a toddler."

Luna shudders and shakes her head. “He isn’t related by blood, and the worst part is, on my first day back...he had the nerve to hit on me and attempt to get me in his bed.”

Dillan gags. "Ew, if I was you I'd have cut off his horn and shoved it up his flank." He chuckles.

Luna giggles and puts a hoof to her mouth. “Oh how I wish I could have done that..but sister would be disappointed and no doubt he would spread rumors that I am still the Nightmare.”

Dillan nods. "Yeah that makes sense, in a fucked up way…" he mumbled, looking outside the window. "Shouldn't it be dark by now?" He asked looking up at a clock.

Luna blushes and runs over to the window. “Oh no, I knew I forgot something.” Her horn lights up as the moon starts to rise and the sun starts to set.

Dillan chuckles and cracks his back. "I'm gonna hit the hay, goodnight lulu nice meeting you miss Sunset. And thanks for your help today."

“Of course sir, please don’t forget about what you promised.” She said as Dillan walked away.

"I won't!" He said with a smile as he waved to them, heading to a guest room in the castle and collapsing on the bed. He quickly fell asleep after removing his shirt for the night, until a portal opened and he was gone.
