"Oh well. All health". Alex sarcastic comment to the involuntary belching of his dragon friend.

Twilight read aloud that Princess Celestia herself will preside over the wedding ceremony and would like her and her friends to help with preparations for this wonderful occasion, up in the following categories:

Alex smile, as Applejack points his hat to be the chief of a royal wedding. "It will be a real pleasure!." replied the farm mare.

Rainbow Dash yawned out loud, before her eyes widened as Twilight says, "To make the event unforgettable, the Princess wants you to perform your famous Sonic Rainboom with the Wonderbolts at the Royal wedding."

Alex had to cover his ears when Rainbow Dash exploded with Joy. "Yes! Finally a collaboration with the legendary wonderbolts, and they want me to perform my Sonic Rainboom! Princess Celestia can count on me!." Rainbow Dash said with joy and pride.

Twilight smiled and turned her gaze toward Rarity. "You will be the designer responsible for the dress of the bride and her bridemaids.", Twilight said.

"T-the P-princess...The Princess Celestia wants me to..." Rarity stuttered out, "Make the bride's important dress..." She barely managed to finish the sentence before fainting with large smile.

"Rarity didn't quite handle the emotion," Alex said with a chuckle, while Fluttershy fanned Rarity softly with a wing.

Twilight reads the last part of the letter from the princess : "And as for you, Twilight. You will play the most important role of all. You will ensure that everything is perfect and goes to plan by making a Checklist. -Soon, Princess Celestia." he said with a note of unconcealed pride. happy with the trust his mentor had given her. which also made Alex smile.

Alex sat down with one leg bent, his elbow propped up on his knee. "By the way, twilight, Haven't we figured out who he's getting married to yet?." Alex asked in a confused voice. He soon understood that he was not the only one confused as Twilight looked at him with a bewildered face.

Twilight then looked closely at the parchment from front to back, but nothing else was written. "He has not said who he is getting married to." Twilight said in a confused tone.

Alex frowns, before he hears spike jump into the conversation. "Wait... Now that I think about it, I should have given you this first." He says as he takes another scroll out of his pocket, an embarrassed smile on his face.

Twilight rolls her eyes before she levitates the "first" parchment over, reading it aloud. "This year I invite you with pride to the royal wedding of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza and..." She say before eye widen and say loudly second name. "MY BROTHER?!." She screams in surprise.

Alex's eyes widened. "Your brother?!." he said looking at her shock as well.

Since he arrived in Equestria, Alex has met Shining Armor only on one occasion, Which was when his friend Twilight Sparkle introduced him to Princess Celestia. As soon as Alex had climbed the stairs to the castle, he saw a guard at the edge of his vision coming toward him at a fast pace, spear in hand, and with a look that displayed unwelcome intensions.

Alex remembered....He had barely dodged the spear before hitting the guard with a quick jab, followed by an elbow to the face. He then tackled him to the floor, punching him multiple times in the face before several guards grabbed them both and dragged them away.

Alex had sorted out the differences between them that day. He left without saying a word of displeasure the the Captain of the guard.
He still remembers that, while on the return journey to Ponyville with Twilight, the purple unicorn had given him a stern look, pressing her hand against his chest when she told him he had just met her brother: Shining Armor.

However, as Alex's trip down memory lane ended, he saw Twilight frowning, It seemed very angry at her brother. It was understandable, after all this is a special occasion and her brother told her of his wedding through a letter instead of face to face. Alex began to think and wonder if Shining Armor had good reasons for doing so.

"Yes, this is great news! A wedding invitation from my brother on a piece of paper! Thank you a lot Shining, I mean what could possibly be the reason you couldn't have told me personally..." Twilight says with a frustrated snort.

Twilight looks at Alex's face, before sighing softly and rubbing his forearms. She slowly breaks the hugs and looks at her friends. "Sorry, it's just that Shining and I have always been close, He is my BBBFF after all."

Alex raises an eyebrow, not understanding. He looked around and realized that he was not the only one confused, as all of twilights marefriends were giving her weird looks.

"BBBFF...What?" Alex asks in confusion.

Twilight rolls her eyes and says, "Big Brother Best Friend Forever."

Twilight then explained that, ever since they were young, Shining was the only pony she considered and accepted as a friend before coming to Ponyville and meeting her current friends, and long before Alex mysteriously appeared.

"You have been so close since you two were little, I don't blame you for being angry at him and disappointed. However, I do wonder if he did it for a good reason.." Alex said, nod hiding his serious tone as he pushed his glasses onto his nose.

Twilight sighs softly and walks over to Alex, before sitting and curling up on his lap. "Really, I don't know what to do." Twilight murmured

Twilight was certainly still angry, disappointed, and confused with her brother. After all they were super close...so why would he not come talk to her personally instead of sending a letter?.

Applejack intervenes and comforts her while saying, "I have to agree with Alex. If your brother sent a letter, he would have done it because he was very busy. But I want to say that I think your brother sounds like a really good stallion."

Twilight nodded in confirmation, Specifying that her brother was the captain of the royal guard, to the surprise of her friends. Rarity interrupted her and asked if, in addition to helping the Princess, they were helping the Captain of the Royal Guard. When Twilight confirmed, the Fashionista passed out once more, her head landing on a pillow that Twilight had summoned with magic before she hit the ground.

But when we meet Shining, I will have a little chat with him about all of this, and why he sent a letter instead of telling me personally.." Twilight said in a serious tone. Alex was a little surprised, but he could hardly contain his smile, and could not help but think about how Shining was in big trouble now. Maybe this was the effect of Karma.

Twilight sigh, "Anyway...there is another thing that is worrying me.." She says as she looks away

Alex raised an eyebrow at his words. he tilts his head in confusion to look her in the eyes. "What exactly?."

She looks at him with a stern look and crossed arms. “I’m more worried that you too will get into another fight with him the moment we enter the castle and meet Shining.” She looked at you with puff cheeks.

Alex stares at Twilight for a few seconds, then shrugs and says, "I'm not looking for trouble. Even if I'm afraid they're looking for me, I can reassure you that what happened last time won't happen again. But I must warn you, if your brother dares to aim a spear at me, I will make him swallow all of his teeth."

Hearing what Alex said, Twilight's friends begin to laugh, Twilight and Alex soon joining the laughter. Alex smiled softly softly and sighed as Twilight laughed a little more.

After a few minutes of laughter, as well as Twilight singing a song about how her and her brother were super close, and how amazing her brother is, as if to reinforce what she said before.

"Alright everypony, Let's meet at the train station in exactly 3 hours with our bags."

"Okay Twilight!", they all said in agreement, before they packed up the picnic supplies with speed that would compare to, as Alex had said with a sarcastic tone, people in his world packing up to evacuate a storm.

It was time for Alex and her mares friends to pack their bags for the train trip to Canterlot.

As they headed to the library, Alex told Twilight that he would meet here there, as he had just remembered that he had to immediately warn his bosses at the Spa that he would be gone for several days because of the Wedding.
After notifying them, Alex gave both of them a kiss on the lips. Aloe told him to have fun at the wedding, while Lotus slowly rubbed her firm ass against Alex's groin, jokingly telling him to remember them and that he would have to work overtime.
Alex smiles and accepts their conditions, before leaving toward the library.

When Alex returns to the library, he hears Twilight upstairs packing her suitcase, complete with a checklist. He smiled and quickly ran upstairs into his bedroom, neatly putting the suitcase on the bed that he bought a while back, before going to the closet and taking some clothes. He pulled out a black suit that Rarity had made for him and put it in a special suit bag so it would not get any wrinkles. After stuffing in a clean pair of dress shoes, however not adding a tie.

"Twilight, I have already packed my suitcase. I have all the tickets for everyone, I will wait for you at the train station." Alex said, taking his luggage and putting it on his shoulder.

"Okay Alex, Thank you!. You are a treasure." Twilight replied.

Alex heads downstairs, exiting the library and heading toward the train station with his luggage on his shoulder, and his black suit in another.

*Half hour train ride later *

Alex didn't have to wait long at the train station, as his marefriends arrived on time. After checking the tickets, they all came in and sat at an available train car. The luggage was carried into the glove compartments while they sat in peace in one of the seats. His marefriends sat in different places, leaving him sitting quietly near Twilight.
Alex turned to look at her and could not help but notice that she did not look excited about her brothers wedding, To tell the truth, her bad mood was clearly visible on the long journey to Canterlot.

When Alex asked her what was troubling her, Twilight sighed and replied, "I'm just thinking about Shining. Since i moved to Ponyville, we have seen each other less and less, And now that he has started a new family with Princess Mi Amore or whatever her name was... We will most likely never see each other again."

Alex sighed before looking at the ceiling. He then looked at her before saying, "Twilight, I understand that the news of the wedding surprised you as much as sudden news can, But you are always his sister. He will always have time for you, and I'm sure he will look forward to seeing you."

"And then.." he added as he patted her on the shoulder, "Whatever will happen, I'll be there for you."

Alex smiled at her, before making himself comfortable in the seat. Considering they still had an hours journey, he crossed his arms and took advantage of it to take a nap.

After another half hour that only felt like a few minutes of sleep, Alex woke suddenly from the excited scream of Pinkie Pie. "Canterlot in sight! And with what a curious looking dome."

"Uh...What?" Alex murmured sleepily before looking in the same direction everyone was looking, and suddenly he felt as if he drank an espresso. He looked surprised and confused as he said, "What...The heck?."

The whole city of Canterlot was covered by a sphere Hot Pink of the same color, that Twilight's magic was.

"I think it's additional protection for the Royal Marriage, so they make sure no strangers enter." Rarity said while rubbing her chin.

Alex observed the splendid architect of Canterlot. He would give a little reason to the hypothesis Rarity gave, but he was wondering why the dome covered the town now.

*Canterlot train station*

One the trains topped, Alex noticed the massive presence of Royal Guards. They looked toward them, but their spears remained in a neutral position, A positive sign at least. He put on his jacket while letting his friends exit the train before he did.
He exited last, carefully getting out of the train and looking around.

Moments later he was brutally grabbed and pushed against the wall by two guards. "Don't Move," One of them said in a serious tone.
Alex watched them as he obeyed the order, keeping his arms spread wide and his legs apart. A guard started to search him, rubbing both hands on his hips, then his legs, then his arms. Another guard took his shoes off and searched them.

After the search, the guard seemed to relax. "Search complete, thanks for your patience and have a good day." He said.
"I know you are only doing your duty, The feeling is mutual." Alex said with a nod while putting on his shoes and going to where his friends were waiting.

"I would say this confirms what Rarity said. I noticed it when I first came here, before it was well guard. Now the level of security is through the roof, who knows what's going on." Alex said while looking around, noticing the huge amount of guard patrols.

"Don't worry about it, we have work to do!. Let's go to the castle and find someplace to set our luggage down, we have to time to waste!," Rarity said in a sing song voice as she went to get her luggage.

Alex followed her, but could not help but to notice the dark frown had returned to Twilight's face, especially after AJ had told her that she had to go meet with her brother Shining.

Her friends looked at her with a puzzled expression. Alex approached Twilight and suggested that she immediately go to the castle. Twilight nodded and, joined by her friends, went to recover their luggage before heading toward the royal castle.

After a second body search, Alex walked into the royal corridor, the very same one he entered four months ago. He was accompanied with Twilight to meet the rulers of Equestria for the first time, a week after his mysterious arrival.

"I remember how tense i was the last time we walked this corridor, Twilight. You had told me you trusted me... remember?" Alex asked before turning around to see Twilight, before noticing she wasn't there.

Her friends were walking ahead and were waiting for the porters to arrive to take their bags away.
Alex looked around, until he spotted Twilight through a window, where she storming somewhere else.

He left his baggage, and with a quickened pace, politely asked a passing porter to take his and Twilight's baggage to their assigned rooms. He then proceeded to follow Twilight.

Already imagining the confused expression of Princess Celestia when she would arrive to introduce herself just to find the absence of her devoted student and himself. He almost smiled at the thought, but he pushed it away and ran quickly behind twilight. 'And Twilight said that Rainbow Dash was the impulsive one', he thought to himself.

Alex lost sight of Twilight for a moment, but saw her again as she was walking toward a building, yelling at someone on the balcony with fists waving in her air.

"Twilight!" Alex shouted as he raced toward her. Twilight stopped screaming and looked over her shoulder to see him running towards her.

"What are you doing here?." Twilight asked in a confused tone as she thought he was still with the others.

Alex caught up to her, stopping in front of her with a frown.

"Since I have not seen you since entering the castle, I have seen you run away and I had to catch up with you. Although it is really strange of you to leave without seeing or greeting Celestia." He said, before looking at who Twilight was yelling at. He saw a familiar face among the royal guards ranks, but before he could get a better look, the familiar face had teleported in front of both of them.

As the familiar face walked toward both, his armor looking more loose and fitting but without slowing his movements. Together with the right gold finish. Most wear the same intensity of dark purple as Twilight's fur color. His cutiemark was clearly visible on the breastplate of the armor. He removed his helmet to reveal the bleached white of his fur and his dark blue mane, His eyes narrowed at Alex.

Alex looked at him with his head tilted to the side in thought. "Long time no see, Shining Armor.' He said in greeting.

"Yes Indeed." Shining replied with a frown, he rubbed his jaw a little where Alex had struck him when they first met many months ago. He continued to look at him, eyes narrowed, before shifting his gaze to his sister.

"Do not tell me that this is the guy you are dating, and the guy you talked about extensively in your letters Twily.." He said with venom in his voice, Alex frowned more but he could not stop swallowing the knot in his throat from the tension. Shining Armor continues to scowl for a few moments before his mood shifted to a more pleasant smile.

But before Alex could say anything, Shining Armor's horn began to glow. Alex suddenly felt himself being pulled toward him. Alex was surprised, and stiffened in preparation for an attack, However instead he found himself in an embrace with Shining. Shining's grip was strong but nothing back breaking, Alex was very surprised while Shining Armor held the hug for a few seconds before letting him go and slapping him on the shoulder.

"I am really happy to hear" Shining armor said with a chuckle, before looking toward Twilight, "And I'm proud of you for finding a worthy colt-friend." He said with another chuckle.

"Wait...What?...How am I worthy?.." Alex asked in confusion and surprise.

But before Shining could say any more, Twilight decided to intervene and looked her brother angrily while pointing a finger at him. "Don't you dare change the subject Shining! How could you not tell me about your own wedding in person?!" Twilight asked angrily.

Shining armor remained silent for a few moments, then sighed deeply. "Twily...I think you should know why I sent a letter instead of meeting you in person. It's not my fault, Princess Celestia has requested a greater increase in security. You should have noticed the increased presence of gurds in the railway station." He said with a calm but stern tone of voice.

Alex and Twilight nodded, before following Shining when he signaled them to.

As they walked, the Captain of the royal guards began to explain the massive presence of Royal guards, and the Hot Pink force field around Canterlot.

Twilight was beginning to calm down but that didn't stop her bugging people who are getting married.

"Okay, I guess i can forgive you, you have an important job to protect everything in Canterlot. But i still don't know who you are getting married to?. Who is Princess Mi Amore Cadenza?" She said in a tone that was a little less aggressive than before.

Shining armor gave a chuckle as Twilight raised an eyebrow. Alex leaned against the masonry of the bridge where they had stopped arms folded and eyebrow raised. Alex wondered why Shining is chuckling

Shining himself gave the reason, "Twily.. Mi Amore Cadenza is Cadence, Your old foal-sitter."

Twilight was a little confused for a few seconds, but then her eyes widened, a twinkle in them. She asked shining to confirm that it was the cadence that she remembers from her past, the same one that was her pony sitter. The best pony-sitter in all of Equestria. Shining armor nodded in confirmation with a little laugh.

Alex was a little confused about the conversation being held between Shining Armor and Twilight. He then reflects a little, and smiles after understanding that they were referring to a Baby-sitter.
Twilight then began to explain to Alex that Cadence had been her foal-sitter for most of her filly life, Cadence took care of her when her parents were off working, even when she became a student to Princess Celestia. They even had a special greeting dance.

However, Alex was in for a surprise when Twilight explained to him that Cadence was actually an Alicorn, just like Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. This was the first time he heard of a third Alicorn, and until now he had never heard nor seen her before.

Twilight suddenly starts to hop around Alex in joy, looking at him with a bright smile. "My brother is getting married to the best foalsitter in all of equestria!" She screams in excitement, before hopping around Shining. "You're marrying to Cadence! Your marrying Cadence!" She continues to yell in joy.

Alex could not help but chuckle, Twilight reminded him of the time she told him about how she became a student of Princess Celestia, She went into fine detail, including how she bounced around like this around Celestia back then. He jumped in surprise as his trip down memory lane was interrupted by a strong hug by Twilight. Shining armor looked at both and chuckled, happy for the both of them.

However, Shining armor had not finished giving his news. He cleared his throat before speaking, "Sorry if I interrupt you two, but there is one more thing I have to say to your Colt-Friend." He says to his sister, before looking at Alex, who raised an eyebrow at him.

"Listen to me Alex..." Shining said as he looked at Alex, "We started on the wrong hoof when we met before, but I acted to protect my sister and as a member of the royal guard, I admit that I went a little too far.."

"Really?. Only a little Shining?." Twilight said while crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow. Alex crossed his arms and tilted his head, looking at them from the top of his glasses.

Shining rolled his eyes and cleared his throat. "Alright...I admit.." He says, clearing his throat a little more, "What was I saying?...Oh yes.. But if you have been able to protect yourself from me, it means that my sister is in good hands. So I would like to start on the right hoof this time, and ask something important. Would you like to be my best stallion at the wedding?" He asked, unable to hide his smile.

Alex smiled softly, before hearing hoof sounds heading toward them. He turned around to see who it was, and his eyes widened in amazement at what he saw. Across the bridge just a few meters away there was another alicorn, but this was completely different from Celestia and Luna.

She had a light pink coat of fur and a multicolored mane that fell to the side of her head and onto her shoulders, Purple, light pink, and light gold balanced out through her hair. The trio of colors enhanced her bright purple eyes and made them quite the attention grabber. Her purple and white dress fit her divine figure perfectly. A gold studded, heart shaped diamond was her insignia. She wore a small, gold crown on her head, stating her status of royalty. Her large wings were closed on her back, but even so it still gave her a sense of divine elegance and bearing as she walked toward the two ponies and human.

"I hope I am not interrupting anything important." She said in a tone that seemed...Irritated and bored.

"Cadence!." Twilight exclaimed in joy, breaking the hug she was having with Alex before running over to her favorite foal-sitter.

Alex crossed his arms as he smiled, watching Twilight seeing her favorite Foal-sitter after many years.

"Sunshine Sunshine Ladybugs awake, Clap your hooves and do a little shake!" Twilight exclaimed, doing the little dance that her and Cadence came up with a long time ago.

Alex could not stop chuckling at their little dance, finding the scene cute. But he then fell silent as he saw something that didn't go very well.

Cadence did not do the dance....Rather the opposite as she looked confused at Twilight's actions. However the confusion was short lived as she ignored Twilight and walked to her soon to be husband, Shining. As she walked, she turned her attention to Alex, a small smile dawning onto heer lips.

"Oh my Celestia, The rumors are true! A human is here, in Equestria!" She exclaimed in a cheerful tone.

After a brief moment of amazement, Alex's expression turns to a frown at the words Cadence just said. 'Wait a second...How do you know that I am a human being...' he thinks, raising his eyebrow in concern.

Alex recalls when Princess Celestia told him that no other human being had ever been seen in Equestrian history. That made him the only one....but what Cadence said contradicted that, and made him feel as if something was off.

"That is right...I am a Human Being." Alex said in a confirming voice, nodding softly.

Twilight was incredibly surprise about Cadence's knowledge about Humans, since she had seen no books about them, and Celestia had no idea of their existence. "Wait...Cadence. How did you know he was a human?"

Cadence smiled, and put one hand on her hip, raising the other one under her chin. "Oh well, dear. You must know that for centuries Humans have been the strongest and most loyal creatures that Equestria had to offer. Their history is still shrouded in thick mystery and darkness, but their determination was strong to face any enemy without hesitation.'

"The stories about them and their bravery, they are almost completely forgotten by time. The only thing I heard said with certainty long ago. That same princess Celestia was the first to win a battle against a human long ago." Cadence continues telling the tale while she smiles and looked at Alex.

Alex was shocked by the words of Princess Cadence, but then his expression turned into a dark frown. He reflects on the words of Cadence and on the disturbing thought that plagued his mind...The thought of Celestia lying to him.

'You lied to me...Celestia. You knew about humans, I was not the only one as you had told me, and you kept this hidden from me all this time!' Alex thought with a shudder of anger, disappointment and disgust filling him as he felt the bitter taste of betrayal, his eyes now a thin grey as if frozen by winters cold touch.

Keeping his frown, he turned to Twilight. "I am going to go visit Princess Celestia, she has a bit of explaining to do...I will see you around." He said, attempting to keep his calm composure.

Twilight did not miss the harsh tone of Alex's voice, and gave him a worried, inquiring look. Seen from the front, his smooth, resolute features of his colt-friend seemed to be carved from steel. She nodded softly. "Okay..See you at the tea shop that we saw next to the castle, I will be there around 6:00. Can you keep your head clear?."

"Of course Twilight, Do not worry. I just wants answers." He gave a forced smile. Alex was only troubled by the fact Celestia kept the truth from him.

Twilight nodded in relief, "Okay, go ahead." She told him.

Alex smirked, "Before i go though.." He leaned in and gave Twilight a small kiss on her lips.

Twilight gave a cute blush at the sudden kiss, before going in for another, deeper kiss as she throws her arms around his neck. It only lasted for a few seconds before she separated, well aware that her brother and foal sitter were still there...watching. An intense blush spread over her cheeks, Alex mimicking the action.

Both turned and saw Shining armor and Cadence smile at the sight of a new young couple, Especially for the someone to family who found someone special.

"Well, I'd better go now, " Alex said with a shrug and a smile, before saying goodbye to Twilight, and paying his respects to Shining and Cadence.

Despite Alex's frown returning to his face, he could not help but feel as if he was being watched....and not in the good way. The farther he went, he also felt relief, as if Shining or Cadence was creating an unnaturally negative aura around them...

Princess Cadence smiled a little, looking at the human with the corner of her eye. While he leaves, She thinks of how this news could work to her advantage.

* Inside the Castle *

Alex lost track of time as he searched for Princess Celestia, even asking some guards on patrol. However, none of them saw her recently. He continued his search, trying to access the upper floors of the castle.

As he climbed the stairs, Alex murmured to himself in thought, and shook his head. "I cannot believe that Princess Celestia lied to me about Humans... How many things has she kept hidden from me? And why does this taste like a bad joke?"

As he cross the corridor, the thought of almost giving up begun to manifest itself before he completely got rid of the thought. He continued his search until meeting a royal guard. Lady luck seemed to be on his side, as the guard in question told him that he saw the princess recently, and even offered to guide him to her.

After a few minutes of stair climbing through several floors, Alex was lead to the Princess' private rooms. Looking inside, he saw that the room was entirely decorated with different symbols of the suns cutie mark everywhere. He stood, looking around until the guard saw her and pointed toward the balcony.
Alex nodded before the guard left him, leaving him alone with the princess and showing that he trusted Alex alone with her. Alex respectfully bows, thanking the guard, and walked over to the balcony.

Princess Celestia looks out over her beautiful city with an antique-looking telescope. Last time she had used it was during the accident Discord made a few centuries earlier. However, it was now a good way to survey the city from her point of view.

Alex peered towards her, he began to notice her attire as she stood up straight.

Her beautiful, tri-colored mane stood out as it flooded down her shoulders and back like an elegant waterfall, bringing notice to the pure feathery white dress that complimented her angelic like white fur. Her wings looked as if they would feel like soft clouds, anyone hugged by them would have thought they have been blessed by an angel.
Her ample HH cup breasts filled out the top of her dress nicely, A Kamarband made of pure gold went around her waist, complimenting her god like hourglass curve, and batching the gold her crown was made of.
As Alex's gaze went lower, he also noticed that the side of the dress was exposed just enough to show her signature cutiemark, which was easy to identify.

She had two gold armbands on each of her wrists with a beautiful sapphire neatly placed in the center, which signified her rank as Princess. She looked at Alex with her deep, beautiful purple eyes, any stallion could fall into a trance if they looked long enough into them, but Alex had a question on his mind that burned deeper then any desire that a stallion could have toward the princess. And that question was, why did she lie?

She had heard footsteps before turning her gaze toward the source of the sound.
Although she rarely saw him, She instantly recognized the sound of Alex's footsteps, very different from those generated by the hooves of her ponies.

She turned her head with a polite smile, knowing he had come for her nieces wedding.

"Greetings loyal subject, How are you today?" Celestia said with a smile as she walked over to him, her tits swaying and bouncing lightly as if to draw attention to her divine form, before stopping and seeing his scowl. Her smile shifted to a frown of concern as she stood in front of him. "is there something wrong?" She said in a worried tone.

Alex crossed his arms over his chest and looked her dead in the eye. "You lied to me, you said that I was the only human in Equestria, when that was a blatant lie! You have a long explanation to give to me Princess Celestia, And this time I want you to tell me the whole truth. What do you really know about humans? And were there more like me?" He asked in a tone that did not allow replies.

Princess Celestia simply stared at him in shock. She felt a hole open in her heart, she had hoped that Alex would never have asked that question, and that he would simply forget about it...But that was not the case. She looked at him for a few seconds before turning her back on him and walking away.

Alex frowned, following her with his gaze as she approached the wall and leaned on it, crossing her arms across her chest.
He noticed that Celestia's actions proved that she kept the truth from him..

A few seconds passed before she looked at the horizon, and spoke. "I....did not lie to you...I was..." She swallowed a lump that seemed to be the size of an apple, before sighing deeply.
Alex raised his eyebrow. "You were?..What exactly?" He said in calm but serious tone.

Celestia turned to look at him as tears filled her eyes and ran down her cheeks. "I was....Just trying to protect you.." She said softly.

Alex gasped, giving her a confused and worried look.

'Why was she protecting me?...rather...What is she protecting me from?' He could not help but think as he gazed inside the room with a reflective expression. Then, he heard the sound of hoof steps approaching. He moved his gaze to see Celestia standing in front of him.

He looked up, comically in the situation, as had happened with Princess Luna in Rarity's Boutique, in order to look at her face. He had to peek over the two divine mounds of Alicorn flesh to see Celestias face. She was an entire head taller then Luna, and had wider and fuller curves. Celestia seemed to be lightly crying.

Before Alex could speak, Princess celestia wrapped her arms around his head, pulling him into a deep embrace.

Alex's face was pressed between the large, angelic felling mounds of Alicorn flesh as Celestia kept a careful grip on his head to make sure he could breath. Alex blushed softly, and sighed before returning the embrace, trying to ignore the feeling of her soft breasts against against him.
He wrapped his arms around her back, careful to not touch her wings as he did.

After a few embarrassing seconds of the embrace, Celestia finally let him go and walked toward the large balcony.

"Just a minute, Alex. It is time for me to lower the sun in preparation for my sister's night." She said in a voice that almost sounded like a soft whisper without turning toward him.

Once the sun went down, Celestia put her hand on the side of the doorway, and raised her eyes to Luna's beautiful moon. She continued to look into the sky for a few seconds, before speaking with a light sigh, and looking at Alex.

"You're right Alex. You are not the first human to come to Equestria, but you must keep in mind that I do not know much about their existence." She says softly.

Alex nodded, listening to her closely. However the sound of the door closing and locking made him look backward, before looking back at Celestia. He had assumed that Celestia had taken the appropriate precautions to keep their conversation confidential for now. After all, the princess had been around for so long that, he assumed, knew how to keep secrets to herself, and protect her subjects without exclusion of distinction of species. But now seemed to be different, Alex wanted to know what other humans were like, and what happened to them that even historians in Canterlot don't know about them.

Alex frowned, but still showed interest in what Celestia had to say. "So tell me everything you know about them so far.." He said in a calm manner while Celestia began to think.

"See..Alex. I do not know much because at the time, I was still a filly, and so was luna when they first came to Equestria. I was so young that I did not know anything about the war that Grogar was about to put all of us through. Even the famous Starswirls had not yet named his dream, the future of "Starswirls the Bearded". His fame and reputation, along with his magic, was growing at the time. My Mother and Father did so much to protect us that after they asked Starswirl to take care of me and Luna, They went through the Vortex Together...the very same that brought you here several months ago." She said, a tear falling down her cheek as she told the tale.

To say that Alex was a little surprised would have been an understatement, he guessed it was the humans who arrived on Equestria in the same fashion that he had. However, he did not expect her parents to be the ones going into the vortex themselves, as if it was a two way portal. He felt he should have asked more questions, but he preferred to let her continue her tale. Only one question was burning in his mind....Who was Grogar?

Alex frowned as he asked, "Who is this Grogar?."

Celestia's expression turned into one of a hard frown, before saying, "Grogar was a tyrant who declared himself Emperor in Equestrian Ancient times. For use of a more meaningful term, Lord of Darkness. He tried to conquer and destroy Equestria and turn it's people to eternal darkness and despair."

Alex nodded slowly, frowning at what celestia said. "Please, continue the story. You were left when your parents entered a whirlwind, what happened next?." He asked.

Celestia nodded and continued the tale. "My parents had left for a few days, during this period Starswirls the Bearded took care of me and Luna the same way he did later on as our mentor. In addition to waiting every night when he was free from his commitments in the same room that they left. In the end, they came back...but were nto alone. They came with six beings that I had never seen before. They were all tall like my parents and wore their own type of clothing. I remember no less of their appearance when they camne into Equestria, but i remember their clothing, with the exception of the leader. They wore armor like that of which most of the guards wore, only different in appearance. The leader wore a combination of fabric and armor. I remember Starswirls great curiosity as well as his surprise of those who were with my parents. I, dispite being very young, could remember well that they said they would help save the inhabitants of Equestria. Dispite the initial perplexity and what can only be called Distrust by Starswirls, He trusted the choice of my parents since he knew them from a young age. The war against Grogar lasted for centuries until finally my parents and the humans sealed Grogar in the deepest depths of Tartarus, where he shall live for eternity with his miserable existance, never to see the light of day again.

Alex smiled, relieved that the parents of the princesses and the humans successfully defeated the Lord of Darkness long ago, but there was stil a question waiting to be answered. "What happened to the humans?....And your parents?" He asked cautiously.

Celestia closed her eyes as a few more tears fell from her cheeks. She Gazed at the night sky as she answered, "My parents now soar through the galaxy ever since, protecting the stars so not one of them will go out, or get lost in the darkness." She slowly turned her gaze onto Alex. "The humans...however, left under unknown circumstances. All that I know of them is that they helped build the foundations of our main cities and towns with their ideas and knowledge. Until one day, they disappeared without a trace. This is all I know know, Alex, about your kind who came here before you." She said, ending her story.

Alex was amazed to hear that other humans helped contribute to the founding of Equestria. However, it is no wonder they are treated as a myth from how they vanished without a trace. Although Lyra is still bent on proving they are not a myth.

He looked away, seeing the Princess trying to wipe away tears, but unable to as her tears would not stop falling. Alex suddenly felt guildy, in order to answer his questions, Princess Celestia had to remember a horrible war that was heartbreaking not only for her, but also for Alex as he was the one that forced the truth out.

After taking a quick glance around, Alex found a napkin on a nearby table. He grabbed it before handing it over to Celestia to wipe her tears. Celestia took it and nodded. "Thanks." She said with a little smile, before she proceeded to wipe away her tears.

Alex was glad to get his answer, However he could not help but feel as if her tears were not caused by him or his words...or possibly even anything she said. He had a feeling that her tears were caused by something deeper then the facts and truths she told him about the war, So he decided to find out what the exact reason was.

"I know it must hurt for you Celestia, and it will be alright if you do not answer me...but, Why are you so sad? Did something else happen during the war?." He asked her, prepared to accept a negative answer.

Celestia finished wiping her tears as she shook her head. "Not during the war but...After. Before the humans left. A long time ago, I fell in love with the leader. Even though we knew so little of each other, we were together, and after he left I became devastated to the point I fell into a deep depression. If it wasn't for my Sister Luna helping me, I would have never overcome it, and who knows what might have happened to me..or even my ponies. This is why I worry, I fear that something or someone will take you from this world just like the others. You're not just a good friend, but you have such a good and pure heart towards us. You help many ponies get through their most difficult moments, even if you get hurt in the process. You just stand right back up and protect what is right." She said with a smile.

Alex rolled his eyes and said, "Really, It seems as if you compared me to a hero of some fatasy story, Princess. I only have common sense, and do everything possible to help them." He could not help but sense the irony in his statement, and good not ignore that her words did flatter him a litte.

"But what about the help you gave with Gilda?. Rainbow Dash sent me a letter and told me all about what you did, and it's actions like that that make us want to take care of you." She replied with a smile.

Alex smiled and nodded, well aware that Celestia was right about his willingness to help them. He turned his gaze onto Celestia, and was relieved to see that her mood had improved. "Thank you for answering my questions, even though it was hard for you to tell me. You are not the only ones I need to thank, I need to go back and thank the mane 6 who helped me." He said.

Celestia gave him one more deep embrace with a smile, Alex responds in kind before looking up at her. The large Alicorn broke the embrace moments later, her horn glowing as the locks gave a small click, signifying that they had opened once more. She then went to the balcony, looking at the night sky. "Well, I'd better go back on patrol, Canterlot needs me. There's still a few hours before my sister Luna arrives for the change of guard." She said to Alex.

Alex looked over at the clock that was on the wall, surprised by how much time had passed. He looked over at Celestia, thinking about their conversation. It was now just over half an hour before the bar appointment with the mane six.

"Well, I guess it is my time to go, Celestia. I do not want to interrupt your duties any further. The girls are waiting for me at the bar, and I am surprised that they are not already searching for me worryingly. Good night." Alex says with a bow, walking to the door. But just as he opened it, a question crossed his mind. "Celestia..." He asked as he looked at her, "...One last thing before I go, what was the human's name?"

Princess Celestia smiled sweetly as she answered, "His name was Ezio."

Alex smiled, renewing his thanks and farewells before leaving and heading downstairs. Celestia looked at the horizon, a small tear falling down her face while the name made her remember his face. She held back a large smile, wiping away her tears.

"In a way, he looks just like him." She said with a small giggle, then sighed as she looked through the telescope once more.

* Castle courtyard *

Alex quickly reached the castle entrance, having only slowed down as he past the royal guards at the gates entrance. He greeted both with a friendly wave, before running once more when he was far enough from the gates. He headed down the road to the bar where his friends were waiting, hopefully not keeping them waiting for long. However, as he rounded the corner, he noticed a little too late a familiar figure who was coming around the other side of the same corner at a fast pace. He stopped abruptly, startling the mare.

Twilight winces softly. "Dear Celestia! You scared me Alex! Besides, you are late." She said, placing her hand on his chest before giving him a stern look, speaking in a severe tone of voice.

Alex, panting from the run, slowly calmed his breathing. "Yes, I know, I'm sorry Twilight. The conversation with Celestia lasted a long time. There is no need to get so angry." He said, looking at her. He did not run away, even though she looked as mad as a raging bull at the moment.

Twilight sighed deeply. "Yes, excuse me Alex, I should not have used that tone, But I am angry because our friends tell me that maybe I am...I'm too protective of my brother Shining Armor. But it is possible that they did not see Cadence's demanding behavior, an attitude that the Cadence I know neer had! But No! They are all to busy with the idea of preparing for the Royal Wedding to notice!" She screams in fustration, letting out an angry snort.

"Demanding Behavior?" Alex asked with an eyebrow.

Twilight nodded as they walked down the street, she informed him about Cadence's demanding behavior toward Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie. Yet despite that, her friends still thought she was being over protective.

Alex frowned. "Maybe your friends are right...." he said, walking beside her as he glances over at her, keeping his hands in his jacket pockets.

Twilight gave him a shocked look that slowly turned sad. "Alex...don't tell me that you too...think like our friends.." She said in a low voice.

Alex stopped and looked her straight in the eye. "Do not misunderstand,"Do not misunderstand," He said after a few seconds, "I am just saying that I respect and admire that you worry about your brother. Which I would do for you, I advise for you to go and talk with him, But do not make it sound like you are paranoid. Rather that you are troubled by the behavior of Princess Cadence, she is probably just overly stress from the marriage and the weight that comes with it.

Twilight was silent for a few moments, before giving a perplexed look at Alex and saying, "Are you sure?...I think you're right, I'll try to talk to Shining."

Alex smiled at her and gently put an arm around her and massaged her right shoulder, while Twilight rested her head on her shoulder.

"But by the way .. Twilight. Why do you have the wedding cake dolls in your pocket?." he said noticing the figures protruding from his pocket skirt.

Twilight she blinks in confusion, then rolls her eyes, giggle and horn shone and removed them from the pocket, with a smile. "Oh, Spike took them. he played them as a couple with lots of kiss-kisses. also with Pinkie Pié footer. Sometimes I wonder how old he is. Whether he's a teenager or a dragon baby again." he said giggle again as he levitated them into the inside pocket of Alex's jacket which he also chuckled.

"I believe you on the word," he replied, then looked at the time on his wristwatch. "I'd say I'm going back to the castle to eat something. And in the meantime, I'll put them back on the wedding cake."

Twilight giggle cute again and smiled sweetly at him. "All right. I'm going to talk to Shining. I'll see you later," he said, starting to run down the street, wave him.
Alex smiled wave back while as he watched her go, then turned and strode towards the castle.

* Inside castle *

Alex did exactly as he had said before to Twilight, immediately after returning to the castle about ten minutes later, he ate a sandwich taken from the chow hall, he put back the wedding cake figurines previously taken by Spike and that Twilight had recovered. Before going up the stairs and walking down the corridors. By chance he passed in front of the corridor leading to the hall, where the important wedding ceremony would soon begin.

Alex stopped suddenly, when he noticed the figure of Princess Cadence, enter the room, frowned and went to the door, wondering why the princess was there, but assumed that the princess of love had come to see if the decorations were fine and they were to his taste, he did not forget what Twilight had told him earlier about the bride's demanding behavior.

He went inside and saw that the princess was looking around. "Good evening Princess Cadence. Have you come to take a look at the decorations?."

Princess Cadence slowly turned back to him. "Oh, I was really looking for ..." he said before teleporting in front of him. "..You" she said. Alex wince and quickly jumped back, followed by another step.

But before Alex could open his mouth. Cadence giggle slightly seductively smiled, "My my. It's been a while since a human being has been here, mh." and his tone was no different.

Alex noticed his tone of voice, but in addition to sounding pretty seductive but in the wrong way. It seemed to him that the tone of voice was very different from before. however his behavior and the strange feeling he felt from her, made him perplexed and something told him to be alert.

"Why?. You were looking for me, motive particolar?". he ask a her little puzzled, looking her.

She chuckled again, continuing to stare at him, as he started to circle around him, While Alex followed her with his eyes having to move his head to keep it always in his field of vision.

She slowly licked her lips making the tip of her tongue protrude slightly between her lips "Oh. Nothing in particular. a tell the truth. I was hoping you could help me with something. See, my shoulders need a nice massage, besides the my dress would need to be checked in some parts that tighten a bit. So I'm ordering you to help me relieve these tensions. After all from what I've been told, you're both a masseur and a tailor, right or not? ". he teleports improvvise again, now dangerously close to almost leaning her well toned body against his.

Alex frowned and did his best not to blush, took a step back away from her, who was too close for him, his instincts told himself to continue staying and due distance from her.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Princess Cadence. But right now I'm here as a simple guest and I can't carry out my work so lightly at any time. Having said that, I wished you a good evening and ... to calm down." He said in a very serious tone and then stepping back two more steps, he cautiously turned towards the exit and walked, paying attention to produce less noise and listening.

He hadn't lied about what he said about it. at the time he was just an invitee, certain if he had been asked hours before, to set up a massage session, or if Rarity, she needed an extra hand for help, he would not have refused. he knew he hadn't denied anything. But to tell the truth he found a valid excuse to get away from the princess, sure that he would not take it.
soon he realized how much he was wrong.

He felt a snarl of anger and when Alex turned quickly, he saw his horn shine an acid green color, before a shock wave made him fly several meters until he crashed on the hard marble floor on his back and it also bounces with the back of the head on the floor. The landing cut off his breath and his vision darkened, he feared losing consciousness, he wavered on the brink of unconsciousness, then managed to recover himself, while he let out a groan through clenched teeth. but when him try to lift myself up on hi elbows, just to feel something lean and press hard on his neck.
He gasped as he instinctively grabbed her ankle and calf and looked up to see the princess of the love who looked at him with anger and ill-concealed disgust,her royal heel pressed down on his neck, it was then that he saw that his eyes from purple to a double greenish hue and iridescent. they were staring at him.

"Where Tartarus thinks of you going." He said with the poison in his voice, which sounded like two voices speaking in unsynchronized stereo.

Alex eyes widened shocked, realized that Twilight was right about Cadence's strange behavior ... what towered over him was an impostor. "You ... You're not ... Princess Cadence ..." he said panting again.

"We'll go somewhere else to talk." Her said with a grin, while both disappear somewhere else.

* Underground caves of Canterlot *

Alex coughed gasping for a few seconds, blinked several times, while touching his throat with one hand, looked around but it caused him to feel sick in his stomach. it had happened to him when Twilight rehearsed with teleportation spells and they didn't already like it. So he breathed slowly and deeply as he resisted the nausea for a few seconds, until the sensation vanished.
He got up slowly as he looked around, realized that he was no longer inside the castle, the walls all around were of a dark gray color and dotted with several scattered colored pointed crystals.

"Where the heck am I?." he murmured looking around, before remembering the false Princess of love. "Where the fake Cadence?." he said looking around keeping his guard up.

Suddenly he heard a giggle with a hissing sound behind him. He turned quickly while performing a quick backhand but did not hit anything. His biggest mistake he made and in fact mentally gave himself an idiot. "Shit."

Just now that his guard was uncovered, he saw a pair of green eyes shining along with the magical glow that enveloped his body, a second later he was hit as had happened before, by an explosion of magic, which made him fly against the close wall, the impact shattered the crystal and cracked the thin wall.

he slipped off the ground, coughed again, before spitting blood on the ground, got up staggering and placing a hand on the wall, his back hurt, but he said it could be worse.

he saw someone approaching him, from behind the cracked lenses of his glasses, he lifted looked at him and saw the impostor princess who grabbed him with one hand by the neck and lifted him from the ground until leaving him suspended a few centimeters from the ground, instinctively he grabbed her wrist, gasping.

While Cadence smiles as she licks her lips seductively holding him firmly against the wall. "Nice try," she said mockingly and impresse.

The false princess of love, looked at her prize from top to bottom, while holding it by the neck, she could taste her emotions: anger, shock but above all fear. keeping it against the wall, I lower it so that I can look it straight in the eye and leans towards its ear.

Alex narrowed his eyes, looked up and thought he saw six white figures in a blinding white light, they were all around him. He tried to see more but the glow prevented him from seeing more. "Who are you?". he ask.

Suddenly their voice was as if it entered his head, straight into his brain, he placed his hands over his ears, looked away as he stepped back and slammed his back against the side of the great crystal chair behind him.

"Must save".

"He has to save them."

"Protect Innocents"

"Your duty as if it were ours first."

"Who the heck are you?!. What are you trying to say?!. Protect who ?!" Alex said but everyone's final voice echoed and Alex nearly fell to his knees, gritted his teeth and pressed his hands to his ears harder.

"Destroy the Darkness."

The burst of bright light so intense that Alex had been dazzled diminished its intensity until it returned to a dim bearable light. Alex blinked to brush away the multicolored spots that appeared before him, then closed them. When he opened them again he shook his head vigorously, lowered his hands from his ears, looked around, his heartbeat had begun to return to a normal rhythm. He was as alone as he was before he touched the pedestal. he looked at it and noticed that the prisms blue were now glowing and a light blue ray beam began to glow around the prisms on the pedestal, well as around it.

"All right... But what the fuck happened?" He said before slowly standing up, then he turns his attention to the pedestal, he noticed the glow of the prisms, so he headed towards it.

As he walked towards the pedestal, Alex suddenly stopped, he was almost certain he believed he heard a noise behind him, the faint breaking sound of the crystal being stepped on, turned quickly and saw to his surprise that his doppelganger had found him and now he had almost reached him, but the other had reached him.
his opponent grabbed him with both hands around his neck and I started squeezing his windpipe, hissing in his face in anger. Alex managed with a wiggling arm to break the opponent's strength and make him loosen his grip and hit him with his other hand with a fist in the face.

Out of his mind with rage, the doppelganger punched him which Alex promptly parried with his forearm, then grabbed his arm and with a lever throw threw him against the bright light of the pedestal.

Alex heard the doppelganger's scream of pain as he landed in the light and soon after feeling his body touch the floor after walking through the light, she saw him where he landed.

"I didn't understand what the heck is happened. It doesn't matter. Do me a favor, asshole and stay down!". Alex said moving to where he landed, staying on guard.

When Alex stopped he was looking surprised at what saw. "What the heck .." he say.

When the doppleganger was on the ground, Alex saw something surprising. A mare with different characteristics and features then any other species he had met to this point. It's light teal skin was smooth and made of chitin. Its furr was short and fine, giving its teal color a nice gradient throughout most of its body.

She let out a feeble moan, then, slowly opened her eyes, squinting a little as if just waking up, and showed solid sapphire blue eyes that had little to no reflection. She blinked several times as she looked at her hands, staring at them as she made a meep of surprise, feeling her hands in curiosity. She looked over her new body, which was occupying a short blue dress cut to the knees. Her newly made wings flapped softly like a newly born butterfly's, her wings were a nice shade of dark blue that provided a nice contrast to the rest of her body. As she got familiar with her new self, she glanced over to him

Alex immediately got into fighting stance again, even though she was a mare, he hadn't forgotten that he had been attacked twice before by her, even though she was a doppelganger. He frowned promptly but raised an eyebrow when he saw her, which at first with a strained look, then, gave him a warm smile, as if she had lost all intention of killing him.

She got up quickly from the floor. She didn't notice a jagged edge on the arm of the large crystal chair nearby, but sharp enough to pull the dress, cut it at the back, and slide it slowly across her body to the floor, as she ran towards Alex, as she threw herself at him and hugs him tightly to his chest.

"Thank you." she said as he sniffled and tears joy a bit before looking up at him with her sapphire blue no reflex eyes.

Alex was in shock, instead of attacking him, she had hugged him tightly, heard a rustle, lowered his eyes, felt her breasts pressed against him on his chest, as well as noticing that the dress was now lying on the floor and the changeling mare was all over her naked glory.

Alex roll eyes, trying hardly not to blush. "How heck is that possible. For Celestia. Do I end up in these absurd situations? in conclusion?. But really!?." he think with frustration, before lowering her gaze, feeling her shirt get wet and her sniffling, nuzzling her face into his shirt

"Thanks again for making me go back to normal. I'm so sorry, even for attacking you and trying to kill you, I didn't want to, we've all been changed, our species, we've never been like this." she was sobbing against Alex's chest, squeezing him even tighter.

However his words made Alex frown, he looked at her. "Wait. What exactly do you mean that you have all been changed? Who exactly are you?". he asked then realized remembering that she was still naked against him.

"You'd be sorry to cover yourself please. This is a rather strange situation !." he added, looking away but keeping an eye on her anyway.

The female changeling look him confused, but she felt a breeze down below and glanced down. Her face soon started to go red as she saw her bare body on display and looked behind her at the floor to see that her dress was ripped. She suddenly let out an ear splitting scream which was loud enough to get echo in cavern, and covers herself out of embarrassment with both hands the breast and her marehood, quickly dash to grab damage dress and go behind to big chair crystal nearby, look peeking shy at Alex.

Alex deep sigh,shake head and facepalm. "Jeez. For Celestia. What kind of situation "

"H-how did this happen to my dress?." she exclaimed in surprise as she put on the dress, realizing it was ripped at the back.

"You must have got caught in that chair when you got up. Before you hugged me I was sure to heard the ripping sound." He explained to her, "So. Do you want to explain to me what you meant when you said that you have all been changed?". he ask.

The changeling peeked out from behind the crystal chair, with one arm pressed to her breast, an attempt to hold the dress up, a bit difficult as it left both shoulders and the upper part of her lively breasts slightly larger were C size visible.

"Y-yes. Me and my people, we're Changelings, but we haven't always been like that." she said.

Alex raised an eyebrow, fix at her. "I listen to you. Continue your story please."

* After 10 minutes *

After Alex had lent his long-sleeved shirt to the female changeling, who presented herself with the name of Azure so that she could cover herself and use what was left of her dress by tying it to her belly so as to leave her slender thighs and her curved hips covered, . After Alex introduced himself to her. Azure continued to tell her story.

Alex didn't hide her surprise when Azure told her that the Badlands apparently had never been a barren, wasteland. But there had been a time. Near the mountains layed when they were a land of lush and flowery life, with a big city and there was a particular species of pony called Changeling and ruled his beautiful princess along with both princesses, before one day. Something terrible it's happened and that city and life to vanish lost forever to nothing. Apparently didn't know the full details. But it happened that the princess of what had once been a luxuriant land, turned into a different creature but kept being known as Changeling and the same transformation happened to all her faithful subjects.
They've all been in hiding, presumably perhaps to status similar at hibernating until now and she didn't know how long they had been out since she last saw their beloved princess.

Alex was amazed, ever since he arrived in Equestria months ago, Twilight had helped him to learn about the land of Equestria, the various vast territories and now knowing the fact that once the badlands, wild lands, very arid, once hosted a city, a people and had flowery life in the past, had really greatly surprised him.

"Azure tell me. What was the name of the princess of that land?." Alex asked her.

"After her transformation she kept her name but changed her title. She used to be called Princess Chrysalis, but now she is called Queen Chrysalis. The Queen of the Changelings." she replied with a sad frown and a low tone of voice, lightly biting her lower lip, shrugging and hugging herself.

Alex frowned, crossing his arms over his chest covered by the thermal shirt he was wearing now, in addition to the jacket, but without the shirt he had previously given to Azure. He looked at her, wondered what had transformed her princess and the rest of her people changing their appearance forever.

Azure remembered an important thing and turned to him, called him attracting his attention. "Alex. How did you get me back to normal?. I mean my original Changeling aspect it… I thought my transformation was permanent." she wondered.

Alex frowned. "If this light managed to get her back to normal, it might still work, somehow". He thought. Then with a sigh. "Okay let's try." He say before lifted and then without hesitation, ran his hand into the light.

Alex suddenly groaned in pain, but he didn't feel it from his hand, he heard back in his head the same voices he had heard before coming back straight into his brain, he leaned with the other hand on the pedestal, not to fall to his knees again. he clenched his teeth and when he felt his hand in the light touch something jagged, he grabbed it and retracted his hand, the light went out.

"Alex. Are you okay?" Azure asks him running to him, worried, staring at him.

Alex finally no longer heard the voices he had heard, only now faintly before they were completely silent. began to breathe a little more slowly and more controlled, he shook his head and looked at Azure who was calling him. "Yes, I'm fine now." he said, then looked at what he had pulled out of the light, recognized it: it was the darkest blue crystal block and it looked better, he saw that somehow there was something on the crystal that seemed to be stuck inside.

He dropped the block on the floor and it shattered as if it were glass, but what was blocked inside was now free. A long rudimentary obsidian dagger. it seemed to have been made from a single long, rudimentary wrought block, and Alex, he knows as well informed by books he had read, about how sharp obsidian is and its fragility of volcanic glass.

Alex looked at the dagger, and then took a piece of fabric, wrapped it around the blades and slipped it between the loops of his jeans and the belt, behind his back. Then something caught his attention. The pieces of the broken crystal gave off a faint glow like a firefly, but it wasn't that that caught Alex's attention, but the deep scratches on the floor next to the large chair next to it.

Alex frowned and carefully examined the strange scratches, saw others on the other side of the large glass chair nearby, stood up leaning his hand on the arm of the chair, when something clicked, the same chair slowly slipped sideways one foot of distance. another sound caught the attention of the two and they turned to see that the wall between the two worn banners opened like a door secret Passage, revealing a dark corridor.

"Our way out. At least we don't have to find a way to reach the crack from earlier. Come on!" Alex exclaimed turned to Azure, she smiled at him nodding.

Alex with Azure following at his side, I walked down the long corridor, which widened and sloped upwards. They did not need torches, as the crystal walls reflected the light from the torches of the room they came from. Finally, the corridor emerged in front of a small round room with a meter and a half in diameter, in the center of the room stood a spiral staircase leading upwards. Alex and Azure both walked it to the top, where a large stone slab stood, covered with moss and damp.

Alex pushed and lifted it cautiously, it was quite heavy, being that the slab was stone, but he made him skid sideways, instinctively closed his eyes to protect them from the sunlight. he smelled the fragrant scent of the fresh air, he was outside.

"We're finally out." Alex exclaimed with a smile, who immediately lost when he saw that the protective barrier created by Shining Armor, which previously covered all of Canterlot, was now gone.

Alex frowned with determination, clenched his teeth, worried about Twilight, her marefriends and the princesses, looked around and was surprised to see that she was in the royal garden, the same one where Fluttershy at the Grand Gala months ago, had tried to make friends with the animals that lived there. He remembered how close the garden was to the castle entrance, he cautiously checked that the area was clear and that there were no other changelings, but he preferred that there was none, he motioned for Azure to follow him.

Alex crossed the garden and reached the wide open entrance to the castle and saw in the sky, other insect-like creatures, but very different compared to Azure, as it had a black or dark insect carapace, webbed tail and ears, the wings were opaque as frosted glass, long fangs clearly visible as if they were canines, beyond it has holes, cracks in the legs, blue eyes, they hissed.

Azure holds back a meep of fear and hid behind Alex, who frowned at the changelings. He realized to his surprise that this was what the changelings looked like and what Azure possessed before she was returned to normal.

Alex came out of the royal garden cautiously, crouched, headed for the royal entrance to the castle, with an adjacent corridor. He remembered that through the door in front of him, along another long corridor, one enters the place, where the wedding was to be celebrated.

"Find a place to hide. I must to face it alone." Alex told Azure without turning to look at her.

"Wait? What. S-Are you sure you'll be okay?" She asked worried.

Alex nodded, narrowing his eyes. "Yeah, I'll be fine. Time to show that bitch, that all you have to pay is yes and and she ran into the worst tax collector." he said with and determined wolf's grin.

Azure ran to a nearby room and locked herself in it. Alex headed for the large door, opened it, and walked down the hall when he saw something fly in from a long hall window.

It was another changeling. identical to the others that Alex had seen before, but noticed that this one had a horn, ears and tail wider, eyes slightly more colored, but he kept his ears down and was very saddened, he played with his hands. The changeling as if had felt his presence, turned and saw him.

Alex frowned, preparing to run towards him, before he had a chance to call for reinforcements or attack him, but the Changeling didn't do either of those. Rather, he looked really frightened, waving his hands harmlessly in front of him. "No wait. I have no intention of attacking you."

Alex looked at him with evident skepticism, took advantage of the moment to advance towards him and in response the Changeling retreated and then, threw out the window his weapons, a sword and a shield. "I-I'm not going to hurt anyone. I don't want to steal and beat, you have to believe me!". the Changeling told him

Alex narrowed her eyes, observing him, looking for any trace of lie or deception, instead he saw only a sadness, he sighed, while keeping an eye on him he said. "Go away".

The changeling widened his eyes at his words, but he did not repeat it twice, flew to the window, stopping only for a second to look at Alex, nodded. "Thanks, I won't forget it" and flew away.

Alex he looked, then went towards the great door, where taking courage, he inhaled exhaled, was ready and opened the door, he stiffened in shock at what he saw.

inside the hall where the wedding was supposed to take place, there were several changelings floating around and some in a row next to them, all grinning in triumph

To his right, in front of the row of windows, Alex saw his mares friends, all of them had sad looks of defeat on their faces as well as on Princess Cadence's face. Hanging upside down completely wrapped in a sort of greenish cocoon was the Princess Celestia.

Near at left of the high altar, Shining Armor stood with a completely blank stare and his eyes glowed green, in the same trance-like manner as were the three bridesmaids who had tried to stop him, Twilight and Princess Cadence. but unfortunately in the case of The Shining it looked like a bizarre living statue.

But In front of the high altar in the middle of the hall, there was a beautiful tall slender creature. Her smooth black fur, her mane a flowing sickly bluish cerulean color. Her arms and legs slender but toned, showed holes but less visible, when compared with the other nearby changelings, on the triumphal grin he showed two large fangs, her horn was also crooked near the tip. Sickly greenish eyes. its insect wings opaque like frosted glass and covered with holes. Her slender but curvy hourglass body with curvy hips was embraced by a snugly fitted blue-green satin dress with a chitin bodice showing a generous view of her cleavage.
The upper part of the long-sleeved dress with forearm covers of the same satin chitin combination, the same for her shoulders were protected. The lower part of the dress came close to her knees but showed the sides of her legs toned visible, which below the knee were covered in a thin satin fabric with chitin edges. She lets out a wicked laugh as she walked down the steps.

"Oh my, it looks like you came too late human. It's over now! Equestria is mine." she said as she slowly goes down the steps and stops on the last one.

Alex took a few steps towards her, looking at her with death in his eyes and a resolute wolf smile. "A bit silly as a sentence, don't you think? Yours is the typical ridiculous sentence of a B-grade villain." he teased her.

Chrysalis smiles, but she doesn't let out a growl of anger in derision as some of her guards move in front of her and are ready to take up arms against the worthless creature called human who dared to make mock of her.

But The Changelings Queen moved her hand to the side, "Stop". and her guards stop instant.

"This lousy creature is mine. Stand aside, guards. And don't interfere," she said with a grin as he lowered his arm, at the same time the guards stepped aside and left enough room for Alex and Chrysalis.

Alex observed the Queen Changeling, who slowly stretched both arms in the air, in the movement her beautiful breasts were the same size as the H cup of those that Luna made a slight bounce, then Chrysalis looked at him as she snap her neck from side to side and her shoulders.

Alex narrowed her eyes with a determined gaze and got into fighting stance, he took a quick look at Twilight and the princesses, and their gave him a worried look, then Alex, turned his attention to Queen Changeling.

Chrysalis gives a wicked chuckle. "You are very either brave or very stupid to dare to make fun of me multiple times. But I want to be magnanimous with you human. You have a choice. Join me or you will suffer to the end." she said getting into position, they both walked slowly sideways in a circle.

"You already know my answer, bitch. I refuse." he answered in an icy tone.

"You made the wrong choice." she exclaimed with a smirk and giggled, but did not finish the sentence because Alex, took the opportunity and lunged at her in a shoulder tackle, striking her by surprise in the torso.

Chrysalis withdrew from the blow but immediately regained stability as Alex rotated his torso, folded his right knee and extended his left leg in a side-kick, hitting her in the abdomen, and taking her back a few steps, and quickly Alex resume the position and he lunged at her again with a quick direct, only for Chrysalis to parry him and then hit him immediately in response, with a punches to the face and a subsequent front kick that made him back off at a distance, staggered but recovered immediately.

Chrysalis chuckled a little and smiled at him mockingly, taking at position again, "You forgotten one thing, weak human. I'm a Changeling, which means I can copy more than just looks? I can copy memories and even skills all in one disguise.”

Alex didn't know how long he was going to handle the fight yet, but he didn't want to show Queen Changeling to see him start to tire, he gave her a grin, remembering something she had said but hadn't done, contrary to what she boasted.

"But do me the favor. You're not as skilled as you pride yourself on talking. Despite your disguise, when you met Twilight you couldn't dance like she did." he teased her.

The amused grin on Chrysalis's expression lost, next turned livid with anger, the same stare one that was in her eyes, and let out an angry growl.

"Shut up! Disgusting animal!". He screamed furiously and charged him, attacking him with several well-planned punches.
Alex managed to parry with his elbows and forearms, and dodge them, although Alex received his attacks that he could not block, however he managed to counterattack, hit her, with punches, elbows to the her face, chest.

Chrysalis gave him a kick to his side, but which Alex blocked it, grabbed her leg with both hands and kicked her other leg, fall down her to the ground.

Chrysalis looked at him and the horn flashed, about to launch a magical attack. But Alex instinctively moved to the side, avoiding the magic blow and continually moved in order not to be within his reach and avoided, also for skill and instinct, but maybe also for luck, for any other spells cast against him.

The Changeling guards snarled in anger but had to obey their queen's orders not to interfere as Twilight, her friends and Princess Cadence watched in concern. "Now it's over!". she screamed, wiping the blood from her lip, with her hand after massaging the affected area. she looked at him with a mocking grin but he was panting with fatigue, she smiled at the prodding of her guards, before looking at Alex.

Alex moans as he slowly stands up, his face a bloody mess from her fists, but he fell to one knee, one hand behind his back, aching. Chrysalis approached him with an expression of mockery and triumph, she smirk.

Alex, however, had pretended, certainly the fall had been painful to him, as much as the blows suffered, but when he saw Queen Chrysalis approach him, he just had to wait and keep an eye on her, without arousing suspicion. and once within reach. He leapt at her with a leap. He hit her in the belly with a shoulder, making her step back and without giving her time to react, he hit her in the face with an open palm blow on the nose. With his other hand he pulled out the obsidian dagger he had previously released.

Chrysalis widen her eyes with fear,when he saw the dagger in his hand and was unable to channel the magic into the horn as her for attempted to strike it. All of her changelings watched in horror what happened next and could not, even want to, any way of acting.

"It's over, yes, but for you!," he said plunging the obsidian blade into her heart. A blue light appeared from the wound, like the one that had made the blade shine, Chrysalis widened her eyes and screamed aloud, before it began to glow.
Alex is repelled by a great force shot him backwards, his back hit hard on the wall and then he lands on the floor. He tried to remain conscious but failed and lost consciousness.

* One hour later*

When Alex woke up, he found himself staring at the ceiling of a bedroom, blinking several times, wondering how he got there, then getting out of bed. he looked around and saw his mares-friends smiling in relief with tears in their eyes looking at him. Behind them is Princess Celestia, along with Princess Cadence and Shining Armor. Very relieved that their were all fine. But before Alex could even say anything, his mares-friends bombed him and hugged him in a deep embrace.

"E-ehy calm down girls. i'm fine". Alex murmured, patting their backs, to persuade them to loosen their grip, even though he realized he was feeling much better physically now. His mares-friends listened and loosen their grip, before starting to bombed him with questions:

"What happened to you before you came back?"; "Where were you?"; "Where did you get that Obsidian dagger?".

After asking her mares-friends to calm down for a moment so as to let him explain and could understand how Twilight had felt during the issue of the ticket to the Grand Galà months ago. He put her glasses back on, finding them fixed, looked at the present and began to explain.

He began to explain that during the fight against the changeling, to leave Twilight and Princess Cadence to return to the castle. He himself and the Changeling are finished, he corrected himself, saying that they had fallen into another cave where he kept what seemed in all respects a sort of sanctuary.
He went on to explain that prior to his arrival there were six humans who have come and serve under Celestia and Luna's parents, only to disappear into thin air after the war ended.

Alex paused for a moment and looked at Princess Celestia. "Princess, they had been hiding in the underground crystal caves for centuries, there's an old entrance and that's where I came out to return."

Soon after, Alex continued explaining where she had stopped from. Inside he found a pedestal that activated when he touched it. Alex left out the issue of the rumors he had heard, he didn't want to have any further questions about it. he said that he was attacked again by the Changeling and that when it hit the light it was back to normal. And from the pedestal he had found a crystal block containing the obsidian dagger he had grabbed and which had exited the sanctuary through a corridor that led into the royal gardens and back to the castle where he then fought Queen Chrysalis.
At the end of the explanation. A thought of concern hit him like a boulder.

"One moment!. Where is Chrysalis?!. What happened to her next?". Alex ask looking at everyone present in front of him. remember he stabbed her with the obsidian dagger, ever since he had taken it after destroying the block, one of the voices he had heard and the repeated ones there was a new one he had heard. 'Changed from deep darkness. Fill it with light to destroy it', he seemed to remember.

"Oh don't worry, she's fine." Princess Celestia said with a tone and a reassuring smile, but she did not continue on what she was about to say, before the opening of the door attracted her and the attention of those present, and they turned towards it.

Azure entered the room, wearing another dress similar to the one she had before only blue, her expression was of concern, but when she saw Alex, she smiled in relief and happy, before turned to the other mare who had entered now after to her: Chrysalis.

Alex was relieved that Chrysalis was fine, but was really surprised, because she now looked like another person. His limbs were devoid of holes, while his wings were no longer dull to before, but was nice lustrous cerulean blue which created a nice contrast to his fur and smooth black chitin, his eyes were a normal emerald green and his horn was straight and smooth which gave her an elegant sense of nobility. She saw Alex and smile walked up towards the bed.

"I see with relief that you have woken up and I thank you for making me return to normal. To my real me. The original Princess of the Changelings. And no more like when I was Queen than when I and my subjects were corrupted, transformed." she said happily and relieved, before blushing.

Alex nodded with a painful smile, "No need." her smile faded, frowning, "Rather, Princess Chrysalis. Could you please explain what happened to you and your subjects. Azure was a little vague, but understandable that she couldn't know more." She said.

Azure explained that she had already said the same explanation she had told him earlier in the crystal underground at Princess Celestia, she nodded and like everyone present, she wanted to hear Chrysalis' explanation.

Chrysalis closed her eyes, sighed and opened them again. "It all happened in a seemingly quiet night. Me, my stepmother and my younger sister were awakened by the alarm of the guards. But for nothing, the creatures of Grogar defeated and captured us, we were transformed by Dark magic of Grogar himself. Like my relatives, my beloved subjects have also been transformed into corrupt and lost changelings. " She explained, for almost half an hour for Chrysalis to explain everything, her gaze did not hide her sadness and anger at the person responsible for the change of her subjects and herself, her sister and her stepmother.

Alex frowned, "What about your subjects? Are they back to normal too?." he asked her. Wondering if the other Changelings were back to normal too.

Chrysalis shook her head. "Unfortunately not. When I regained consciousness. I was the only one left, besides Azure".

"After you stabbed Chrysalis with that dagger. She suddenly shone with light and all the Changelings present grabbed their heads in pain. And Shining was trance free, while I was able to free myself and quickly freed Cadence." Twilight said explaining.

Princess Cadence and Shining both nodded, then the Princess of Love spoke. "The changelings had recovered, and were furious. But The Shining promptly activated the same spell to create the dome, but he was without the energy and with my love magic gave him strength and energy, so he managed to generating it, the protective barrier has knocked all the changelings out of Canterlot. "

Shining nodded in confirmation, then looked at Azure and Chrysalis. "But the protective barrier did not repel both and they remained in the room"
