Twelve years ago, Sunset Shimmer vanished in the wake of the Anon-A-Miss incident. The whole affair drove Fluttershy and her friends apart.

Five years ago, the world was invaded by aliens from another realm, hellbent on destroying humanity.

Now, wrenched from her life as a vet and having become a doctor, a thirty-year-old Fluttershy is the central figure in stopping the war. But to do that she's going to have to do the impossible: find and reunite with former friends she hasn't seen in well over a decade, assuming they're still even alive, given the war. And then after that, she's going to have to pull off a miracle - finding Sunset Shimmer.

Fortunately, she's not the same Fluttershy she used to be.

Unfortunately, she may not be ready for this fight.
