Wait. Your telling me that he actually enjoys being a gelding?” I asked Night Light confused. The Sparkle family luckily made it to the empire undetected from Celestia and were able to cover their tracks. But from what they told me an undercover agent named Vase actually liked being a gelding. Granted the Railroad have been doing this long before the AGO was founded but I even find Dez’s work a little uncomfortable.

“Yes he does.” Night Light said “I'm not sure why but I'm guessing all those years as one changed his views. Granted yes we did find castration a horrid thing before even hearing of the Railroad, even Shining’s high school principal kept bothering us on when we were gonna snip him.” I simply stood there trying to figure everything out on what to do. “Well…… I can see a few options on what we could do.”

“What would that be.” Night Light said curious. “Well we could have his testicles restored and have him live as a normal stallion. You said he likes mares who lactate so I can hook him up with a few I know, hell Rainbow Dash might do it if she wants to give her glands a test run. At least then we are living up to our code.”

“The other option is a classified project that the scientists have been planning. We hoped that if necessary we could use what we're planning on Celestia but we haven't had a test subject to do it on. If Vase wants he could volunteer to be our test subject and if it's successful then he doesn't have to worry about himself ever again.” Night Light considered the options before deciding. “I'll talk to Vase and see what he thinks. He'll let us know when he's ready.” I nodded as he walked away.

Later that night we stood in the lab as the scientists got ready. Vase decided to be oir test subject for the project and I wanted to be there personally to make sure it works. Cadence and Dez stood with me in the observation room as we watched the docs secure Vase. One of the scientists looked as us as we nodded in approval and talked to the others. She then dimmed the lights and spoke through a microphone. “Testing for Project Solaris. Test subject one: Vase, middle aged, ten year gelding. Activating test.”

We put on our safety goggle as they went to work. The lab was soon engulfed in a bright glow as we watched the project do it's work. Soon it was over as the lights turned back on and we were shocked at what we saw happened to Vase.

“Test one of Project Solaris. Results: success…….”
